The Evermore Grimoire: Projection Powers
Astral Projection is the power toproject the consciousness of oneself or others from the body. Those that wield this power can project or separate their awareness consciousness, presence or spirit, alternatively known as their astral form, from their material bodies, allowing for perception interaction and travel independent of mental or physical limitation. This state is usually achieved through entering a trance via lucid dreaming or deep meditation. Those with more experience may be able to control both their astral and corporeal presences, allowing them to project their astral selves without losing consciousness in their physical forms, with their projection acting as an extension of their physical self. Eventually wielders will be able to separate others from their physical forms to either travel alongside them or to imprison them in an incorporeal state. Telepaths can also achieve astral projection simply by projecting their minds as well as that of others.

The Evermore Grimoire: Greek Mythology
Calliope (Καλλιοπη meaning "beautiful-voiced") was the Muse of epic poetry and heroic song in Greek mythology. She was widely considered the leader of the Muses and was the greatest and wisest of them all. Calliope began as a Muse of poetry, which later developed into epic poetry (tales of the legendary adventures of a people, its myth, and heroes). She was often represented in art as a seated or standing figure, holding a writing tablet and a stylus, as if she were getting ready to write the next great epic poem. Calliope was also the mother of Orpheus, the most famed musician in all of Greek mythology. He was said to have received his gift of music from his father, Apollo (god of prophecy). When Orpheus was dismembered by the Bacchantes (women & nymphs who worshipped the god of wine, Dionysus), Calliope recovered his head and enshrined it on the island of Lesbos.

The Evermore Grimoire: Greek Mythology
Styx (Στυξ meaning "Hated") was the Titan goddess of the underworld River Styx in Greek mythology. She was the embodiment of hatred and detestation. This made her one of the most feard Titans. During the "Golden Age" of the Titans, Styx was the guardian of the Underworld. Before the war, she was married to her cousin Pallas (god of warcraft), son of Crius (god of heavenly constellations) and Eurybia (goddess of mastery of the sea). However, Pallas was killed during the war. Throughout most of the war, Styx remained neutral, like her parents and siblings, the River gods and Ocean nymphs. During the last battle of the Titan War, she chose to side with Zeus (king of the gods) and the Olympians, giving her four children, Bia (goddess of force), Cratus (god of power), Zelos (god of rivalry) and Nike (goddess of victory) in her service. To honour her, Zeus decreed that the solemn oaths of the gods be sworn by the water of Styx

The Evermore Grimoire: Heroines
Carol Danvers is a former United States Air Force pilot who, upon being exposed to the energy of the Tesseract via the destruction of the Light-Speed Engine, obtained cosmic powers. She gained further powers when she was made into a Kree-human hybrid via a blood transfusion from Yon-Rogg, and had all of her old memories removed, turning her into the Kree's weapon and a member of Starforce. Operating under the name of Vers she was captured by Skrulls during the Kree-Skrull War, resulting in her returning to Earth and beginning to recall her past, with help from Nick Fury and her best friendship Maria Rambeau. Vers subsequently discovered that Yon-Rogg and the Kree Empire had been manipulating her for years, learning from Talos that the Skrulls were merely seeking to find a new home. With this information, Danvers, rejected her Vers persona and unlocked her true powers and defeated the Kree invasion onto Earth that was being led by Ronan the Accuser, before setting off out to the far reaches of the galaxy to finish what her late mentor Mar-Vell had previously started, honouring her by becoming known as Captain Marvel.

The Evermore Grimoire: Heroes
Loki Laufeyson is the god of mischief & stories, a Prince of Asgard and a Variant of himself. After sabotaging the Asgardian throne on a number of occasions Loki found himself serving under Thanos by taking an army of Chitauri to New York City, but his plans were soon thwarted Thor and the Avengers. Before Loki could be taken back to Asgard though, the Avengers from another timeline altered history and caused him to escape using the Tesseract. He was then arrested by the Time Variance Authority and recruited by Mobius M. Mobius to hunt down Sylvie Laufeydottir, another Variant of his. Having learned that the TVA had been built on lies, Loki helped Sylvie track down the Time-Keepers and its founder, He Who Remains. They were warned by He Who Remains that if he was killed, his Variants would conquer the Multiverse. Sylvie still murdered him causing the timeline to branch indefinitely. Loki then found himself in a different TVA, and began Time Slipping between the past, present and future. Returning to the present, Loki met Ouroboros and learned that the Temporal Loom was on the verge of failing. His work to repair the Loom reunited him with Sylvie and encounter Victor Timely, a variant of He Who Remains. Despite their best efforts, the Loom collapsed and seemingly destroyed the TVA; however, everyone except Loki were in reality returned to their places on the Sacred Timeline. Learning to control his Time Slipping, Loki used his new power to go back to before the Loom was destroyed, trying everything he could to salvage it. Unable to do so, he time slipped back to his original confrontation with He Who Remains, who revealed that the Loom was a failsafe whose purpose was to protect the Sacred Timeline whilst eliminating the excess branches and preventing the Multiversal War. Defiant, Loki chose to destroy the Loom and weave the branches together by hand, sitting on his newly created throne at the End of Time, determined to protect the people of the Multiverse his own way.

The Evermore Grimoire: Magic Powers
Dark Magic is the power to use magic that is malevolent in nature. Those that wield this power can utilise a malevolent system of techniques that is based around the darker side of magic that is typically used for selfish, self-serving and/or nefarious purposes. Though it is not necessarily "evil" magic, it tends to focus on destruction, harming, cursing and otherwise complicating the lives of others while advancing the wielder's personal state. They often reject social convention and the status quo, which some suggest is in a search for spiritual freedom. As a part of this, they embrace magical techniques and practices that would traditionally be viewed as taboo and are generally willing to go farther than most in order to serve their own selfish needs. However no one is born with dark magic and it can change depending on the wielder's temperament. If they start to use their magic for selfless reasons, it will gradually become more benevolent and pure in nature. This is known as White Magic.

The Evermore Grimoire: Potions
Nightlock is a potion that can lock anyone within their own worst nightmare. Due to its harmful nature and the deadly consequences it bestows on anyone who ingests it, makes it a forbidden potion within the magical world. No one knows the ingredients to make Nightlock but some believed it included slaughtering magical creatures for certain magical elements and body parts which was also a forbidden witchcraft practice. The reason for this lies with a family of witches who used Nightlock on their own kind for decades in order to expel those who were not of pureblood status. They perfected the potion so much that no antidote or spell could break the potency of Nightlock. Thus leaving their victims stuck within their own mind suffering their worst nightmares over and over until it eventually killed them. Eventually the family's heinous crimes caught up with them when they kidnapped a powerful witch with the power of telepathy who was able to unlock herself from the poison of the potion. The family were stripped of their magic and records of their existence were destroyed. It's believed that a council of elder witches then forced them to ingest Nightlock reliving every nightmare of their victims as punishment until it killed them.

The Evermore Grimoire: Witches
Warlocks are human beings born with a spiritual energy that runs through everything, which enables them to manifest magical powers. Like mortals, warlocks can be either good or evil, but only good warlocks serve as protectors of the innocent. Since the first witch and warlock walked the earth, most warlocks have done everything in their power to always be the superior of their magical species. Similar to mortal men who only saw women as nothing more than wives and child bearers. However over the centuries witches have shown to be far more capable with their powers whereas warlocks have either been driven mad by their own powers or sided with evil in order to feel important. Nonetheless good warlocks still exist despite the stigma of them being untrustworthy due to their dark history. Many choose to channel their powers through magical objects such as wands and staffs in order to stay sane. Whilst others indulge their magic into academia such as teaching, documenting the history of magic, creating spell books, and crafting new potions and spells for other witches and warlocks. The female counterpart to warlocks are called Witches.

The Evermore Grimoire: Magic Powers
Potion Brewing is the power to mix potions and elixirs with magical properties. It is one of the basic powers possessed by witches, sea witches and warlocks, as well as several other magical beings, including mermaids. Only those who possess magical powers will be able to brew potions with magical properties, as potions created by mortals will not be infused with magic. Most of the time potions are brewed in a cauldron or pot that is usually over a heat source, resembling soups or stews. Brewing potions requires deep knowledge on how herbs and specific ingredients work. For instance, burdock roots and eyes of newt can cause an explosion if added together. Also if the mixture is not properly made, the effects could be rather catastrophic.

The Evermore Grimoire: Magic Powers
Spell Casting is the power to cast spells and perform rituals. It is one of the basic powers possessed by both witches, sea witches, and warlocks with the others being  Scrying, Potion Brewing, and Mediumship. Spells can be formulated by a variety of methods, but the core and key to spell casting; is pure, clear and focused intentions. It’s through will and intent that determines the nature and function of the spells when cast, thus achieving the result that the witch or warlock desires. Often, the effectiveness of spells is further augmented by intrinsic components that lend potency to the mystical workings. These components can take various forms such as words, arcane symbols, incantations, specific thoughts, gestures, rituals, or even the utilisation of enchanted items like wands and staffs. Some spells require more than one witch or warlock to make them work in order to increase the amount of magic and therefore potential power available for the spell.

The Evermore Grimoire: Japanese Mythology
Amaterasu Omikami (天照 meaning ‘Shines from Heaven’) was the goddess of the sun, daughter of creator deities Izanagi and Izanami (god and goddess of creation), and central to the Shinto religion in Japanese mythology. Her primary role was that of the sun goddess. In this position, she not only served as the literal rising sun that illuminates all things, but also provided nourishment to all living creatures and marked the orderly movement of day into night. Amaterasu Omikami was also the ‘Queen of Heaven,’ the kami, and creation itself. Though she did not create the universe, she was the goddess of creation, a role she inherited from her father, Izanagi, who defended the world from the land of the dead. The Japanese Imperial Dynasty claims to have descended from her, and this is what gives them the divine right to rule Japan. She is the center of Shinto, and Japanese spiritual life.

The Evermore Grimoire: Psychic Powers
Technopathy is the power to interact, communicate and manipulate technology with the power of the mind. Those that wield this power are essentially psychic and can communicate with computerised informational data, and manipulate all kinds of technology without the need of physical interaction to technology and machines. While most wielders can only perceive, receive, transmit, communicate and interface with technology, stronger wielders can exert psychokinetic-like control over technological constructs, such as computers, robots, hardware, and other working devices that can be termed as "technology". This power is normally achieved through a mental link, with some rarer cases requiring the interface through the physical touch of an object. In a variety of ways, technopaths are considered very similar to telepaths (those that read the minds of others); however, in the case with technopaths, "living beings" are replaced with machines and technology, allowing them to "hear" what a machine is "thinking", and see what they are able to see, establishing a direct line of communication with the machine. Over time this power can grow to the point where the wielder can control the flow of intricate machinery, and assemble or disengage their programming at will and operate most technology at a distance, controlling specific electronics and instructing them, concerning which items to engage or disengage and may be able to use the electric impulses to gently control smaller metal parts.

The Evermore Grimoire: Greek Mythology
Melinoë (Μηλινοη meaning ‘Dark-Minded’) was the goddess of ghosts, nightmares and funerary rites in Greek mythology. At night she wandered the earth with her train of ghosts, striking fear into the hearts of men. Her limbs were black on one side and white on the other, a manifestation of her dual chthonic and heavenly nature. Melinoë's presence was also believed to be the reason why dogs would bark at seemingly-nothing at night. According to one myth, she was known to be the daughter of Persephone (queen of the underworld) and Zeus (king of the gods) which seems quite simple but really is not. At the time, Zeus was incarcerated in the Underworld and had multiple facets. Persephone was impregnated by Zeus in disguise as one of Hades avatars, a Plouton. When Hades (king of the underworld) discovered the pregnancy, he tore Melinoë's body apart. Despite this violent beginning, she emerged as a powerful figure in Greek mythology, appearing in the Hymns of Orpheus and being revered as a bringer of nightmares and madness.

The Evermore Grimoire: Witches of Time
Thana is part witch, part demon who is also Queen of The Underworld. In fact part of her story has already unfolded within this grimoire, but not the full story. Born to a demonic mother and warlock father, Thana's early life was brutal especially after her mother was vanquished and she was enslaved into the demon world due to her extraordinary powers of Necromancy and Umbrakinesis. However after an incident in New York City during Prohibition she annihilated her demonic slavers once and for all and disappeared. Some believed she died, and others believed she found peace within the mortal world. However neither were true. Thana's anger at being ruled by others filled her with enough inner strength to exact revenge not just on those who enslaved her, but the entire demonic underworld. With her powers she soon spread fear amongst the demon world by creating a civil war. The King of The Underworld tried to take a stand with his own army but because of Thana's hybrid status, she vanquished them all with ease alongside her evergrowing army. The King tried to hold his position on the throne but was soon overpowered. However instead of being vanquished, Thana did to him what was done to her and on the day she took the throne and his crown she enslaved him to her personally. She used dark magic to steal his powers to add to her own, making him nothing but skin and bone in chains. She also used to him to create her own powerful dynasty in the form of four daughters known as the 'Bizarre Sisters.' The demonic underworld had never had a women sit on the throne, let alone one who was part witch and part demon. In contrast to her start in life Thana's earned titles of 'Queen of the Underworld' and 'Mother of all Evil' that rings fear into all demons is better than what she was originally destined to be. The Onyx Witch.

The Evermore Grimoire: Spells
This spell summons the dead from the afterlife, bringing them into the physical world in the form of a spirit. They can also become corporeal if they decide to leave a circle of five white candles that must be placed on the floor. Then chant the following: "Hear these words, hear my cry. Spirit from the other side, come to me, I summon thee, cross now the great divide"

The Evermore Grimoire: Molecular Powers
Hematokinesis is the power to manipulate blood. This includes being able to create, shape and manipulate the essential body fluid in humans and animals. Those that wield this power are able shape their blood into tendrils to strike enemies from afar or use it to trap opponents in a prison of blood. They can also concentrate blood into a single point, and shoot it out akin to bullets, or sharpen their blood to the point that they can slice and tear flesh with ease or solidify blood to use as rock-hard ammunition. Another use of this power is controlling the blood within the body of oneself, increasing physical abilities by speeding up the transport of nutrients and oxygen via blood to all parts of their body, thus improving their energy and power. They can also use this to speed up healing by immediately clotting their blood, preventing blood loss and speeding up the recovery process, gaining a form of manual healing. Blood manipulators can also gain a form of cold immunity by increasing body temperature through blood-flow. Over time this power can grow to the point where they will be able to manipulate blood from anywhere such as the bodies of other living creatures, allowing them to control them like puppets, induce nosebleeds, headaches, or even cause blood-related diseases. They could even instantly kill others by making their blood explode from the inside out or forcibly causing their heart to stop or knocking them unconscious by restricting blood-flow to the brain.

The Evermore Grimoire: Astrology
Libra (September 23rd to October 23rd) is the seventh astrological sign in the zodiac and is represented by the scales; a symbol of justice and balance. In Greek mythology the constellation is associated with Themis (goddess of divine law) whose daughter, Astraea (goddess of justice) went up to heaven and became the constellation of Virgo. Traits associated with Libra include being intelligent, kind, artistic and always willing to put others before themselves, They also value harmony in all forms. Ruled by Venus, the planet of beauty, Libra adores a life that looks good. As the master of compromise and diplomacy, they're adept at seeing all points of view, and excel at crafting compromises and effecting mediation between others. Libra's have a rich inner life yet love other people, and are always happiest with a large group of friends, family, and coworkers on whom they can count on. However as an air sign they can often be "up in the clouds," and while they're amazing at making big plans, follow through can be tricky. Working with detail-oriented signs, like Virgos or Capricorns, can help Libras actually manifest their dreams into reality, especially in the workplace. But don't call out Librans for daydreaming as their imagination is one of their biggest assets, that that often put to work by finding careers in the arts or in literature. They even have a penchant for the spotlight and love bringing friends together for an event that can help them shine, too. This sign is also averse to conflict and finds it tough to be honest if they disagree with someone. Instead they prefer to pull back. But when Libras do make a close friend, they keep that friend for life. They're also not judgmental about others and have a diverse set of friends from different life circumstances and situations. For a Libra, there's always room for one more.
