"are you lost, baby girl?" I ask and a dozen middle aged men and murderers turn towards me and blush heavily.

Everybody Eats Someone: Western Han Biting Artifact
Gold belt buckle of Western Han dynasty. Unearthed from the tomb of King of Chu of on Lion Rock (獅子山), Xuzhou (徐州), Jiangsu.
This dramatic buckle consists of two rectangular gold belt plates and a gold tongue. On the reliefs, everybody is eating someone. The heraldic bears of the Xiong (熊) clan, a prolongation of the royal House of Mi (芈), are present. The Ye (葉) family Taoist lineage I’ve examined here is from the same clan and House.
The bear totem is still pertinent for those with surnames Mi (芈), Yan (酓 or 檿), Shen (沈), Xiong (熊), Ye (葉), Xiang (項), Qu (屈).
The heraldic elements in the form of images represent rather archaic practice. They were gradually supplanted in China by the designation of belonging through the surnames’ hieroglyphs of or mottos.
On display in the Xuzhou Museum (徐州博物館).

A 2,200-2,500-year-old cemetery just discovered in China has yielded hundreds of artifacts including a small arsenal of splendidly preserved Bronze weapons that look like they have barely been used. They date to the tumultuous Warring States period, when various warlords vied for power in the region, with overall victory going to Ying Zheng, the King of Qin, unifying China for the first time.

Waiting for the 2nd Century Warlord Comic? Want to learn more about ancient china? Check out these fun sources!
Three Kingdoms oversimplified. Exactly what it says on the tin.
Farce of the Three Kingdoms. A hilarious parody of the novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms that is only slightly more bonkers than the real thing (3/10 historical accuracy). For a more factual account, try reading Records of the Three Kingdoms...or just wikipedia-ing everyone.
War of the Three Kingdoms (2010). A fun TV show that deviates a lot from the novel but is more character-driven. has a lot of costume inaccuracies tho which drives me crazy >:((((
Romance of the Three Kingdoms(1994)TV show, considered a definitive classic. Editing's a bit choppy but at least none of the men have their hair down.
Total War: Three kingdoms. History told in the form of a stratagy-based video game.
Tang dynasty football. Not the same dynasty, but it's a nice showcase of costumes and instruments, also a surprisingly concise summary about ancient Chinese politics. (Bribes)
What did Early Middle Chinese sound like? How does one recreate a non-phonetic language?

Round 2: Chu Sangwoo (Semantic Error) vs Han Jiwoo (To My Star)
[Submitted Reasons Under Cut]
Chu Sangwoo: "He's meticulously organized, hates a specific color (red), gets upset when his routine is interrupted, gets compared to computers and robots constantly, has difficulty conveying his true emotions/feelings, can be blunt, is often called antisocial and misses numerous social cues, has rules he's made for himself and faces difficulty when he realizes those rules don't always hold up, comfort item/clothing (wearing his hat, closet full of flannels), prefers to be warned before certain things occur (physical touch, changes in plans), has to practice the delivery of certain thoughts so he doesn't come off as insincere or be misinterpreted, has numerous systems for how to accomplish tasks, cannot work in an environment that is uncomfortable or has distractions (cleaning the studio, telling Choi Yoona to use headphones), special interest (programming, comparing life to processing data and eliminating problems so that things run smoothly), difficulty forming friendships and other relationships, dismisses things that don't follow his line of logic/rules, among all of these traits and more he pulls a bad bitch like Jang Jaeyoung by being exactly himself and any changes he makes are not forced upon him but rather natural and organic occurrences throughout the narrative despite his personal confusion toward said changes."
Han Jiwoo: "He’s particular about smells, he doesn’t like disruption to his routine, he struggles with expressing his emotions, et cetera et cetera"
