Hello, fandom!
On March 19th 2014, The 100 aired its Pilot episode, so we thought it'd be a nice idea to commemorate the event and make a small celebration out of it!
There won't be any themes for each day or have this be a week long thing! We'd rather just prompt you to create!
You can gif your:
Favorite scene
Favorite season
Favorite character and their trait
Favorite relationship
Favorite quote
Favorite familial scene
The thing that made you fall in love with this show
Or literally anything that you feel like!
This doesn't have to be just about gifs-you can write your favorite au, headcanon, post a fic you've been meaning to but never got to write or finish, create a moodboard of your favorite character or an edit of them!
Anything that gives your heart joy!
This does NOT have an end date but we thought it'd be nice to post around the 19th and the week after in order to celebrate close to this date!
You can tag your creations with #tenyearsofthe100 and we'll reblog them!

Things have been hard lately, and I’m feeling sick and extremely tired, but I just wanted to say thank you following this blog. It got started because I got very sick and was desperately searching for a diagnosis and trying to figure out what to do with my life after learning I have a chronic illness. I really appreciate having this space and it helps me to feel less alone with having an illness and it helped me cope with a lot of stuff. I’m constantly surprised by messages I get, or when I get comments on how someone else relates to my illness, it reminds me I’m not alone struggling with pain and uncertainty. I have this feeling this year was intense for everyone.
I hope you that you have a lovely holiday, if you celebrate any, and please remember that it’s okay if you decide to not to force yourself to celebrate with people you don’t want to. I hope you know you can make your own traditions. I’m sorry if you lost someone and the holidays aren’t the same without them, even when a part of us always carries who we loved. Please eat well, rest a lot. And if you don’t feel like celebrating anything because everything has been so hard lately, remember that to be alive is reason enough to celebrate. Take it easy during the end of this year. Be kind with others, but remember you deserve kindness too. It’s a good thing to have made it through this year, and I’ll be here on the next 🩵

‘Just shut up, will you?’ he said. ‘It’s Hogswatch! That’s not the time for silly arguments, all right?’ ‘Oh, yes it is,’ said the Chair of Indefinite Studies glumly. ‘It’s exactly the time for silly arguments. In our family we were lucky to get through dinner without a reprise of What A Shame Henry Didn’t Go Into Business With Our Ron. Or Why Hasn’t Anyone Taught Those Kids To Use A Knife? That was another favourite.’ ‘And the sulks,’ said Ponder Stibbons. ‘Oh, the sulks,’ said the Chair of Indefinite Studies. ‘Not a proper Hogswatch without everyone sitting staring at different walls.’ ‘The games were worse,’ said Ponder. ‘Worse than the kids hitting one another with their toys, d’you think? Not a proper Hogswatch afternoon without wheels and bits of broken dolly everywhere and everyone whining. Assault and battery included.’ ‘We had a game called Hunt the Slipper,’ said Ponder. ‘Someone hid a slipper. And then we had to find it. And then we had a row.’ ‘It’s not really bad,’ said the Lecturer in Recent Runes. ‘I mean, not proper Hogswatch bad, unless everyone’s wearing a paper hat. There’s always that bit, isn’t there, when someone’s horrible great-aunt puts on a paper hat and smirks at everyone because she’s being so bohemian.’ ‘I’d forgotten about the paper hats,’ said the Chair of Indefinite Studies. ‘Oh, dear.’ ‘And then later on someone’ll suggest a board game,’ said Ponder. ‘That’s right. Where no one exactly remembers all the rules.’ ‘Which doesn’t stop someone suggesting that you play for pennies.’ ‘And five minutes later there’s two people not speaking to one another for the rest of their lives because of tuppence.’ ‘And some horrible little kid—’ ‘I know, I know! Some little kid who’s been allowed to stay up wins everyone’s money by being a nasty little cut-throat swot!’ ‘Right!’ ‘Er . . .’ said Ponder, who rather suspected that he had been that child. ‘And don’t forget the presents,’ said the Chair of Indefinite Studies, as if reading off some internal list of gloom. ‘How . . . how full of potential they seem in all that paper, how pregnant with possibilities . . . and then you open them and basically the wrapping paper was more interesting and you have to say “How thoughtful, that will come in handy.” It’s not better to give than to receive, in my opinion, it’s just less embarrassing.’ ‘I’ve worked out,’ said the Senior Wrangler, ‘that over the years I have been a net exporter of Hogswatch presents—’ ‘Oh, everyone is,’ said the Chair. ‘You spend a fortune on other people and what you get when all the paper is cleared away is one slipper that’s the wrong colour and a book about earwax.’
-- Terry Pratchett - Hogfather

Moreover, Hamas terror attacks on Israelis increase Palestinian support for Hamas. For example, Palestinian support for Hamas increased dramatically after Hamas launched 4,500 rockets at Israel in May 2021.
Second, Gazan civilians actively participated in, aided, abetted, and celebrated the Oct. 7 massacre.
“Ordinary” Gazan civilian workers in Israel (thousands of whom were allowed into Israel due to the Biden administration’s pressure) collected detailed intelligence on every home and citizen in southern Israeli towns and drew maps for Hamas to easily locate Jewish nurseries and families to murder and kidnap.
Then, after the first wave of Hamas terrorists slaughtered more than 1,400 Jews, huge waves of “ordinary” Gazan civilians, armed with knives and screaming “Allahu Akbar,” flooded into southern Israel, and joined in the Hamas massacres and kidnappings. Mobs of Gazan civilians killed and gang-raped innocent Jews, chopped off innocent Jews’ heads, took hostages, entered and burned down massacred Jews’ homes, and ransacked and looted everything in sight — televisions, automobiles, jewelry, children’s bicycles, etc.
Israeli Telegram Channel South First Responders reported: “The assault on Southern Israel was not carried out exclusively by Hamas. It began with the entry of hundreds of heavily armed terrorists and was followed by waves of Gazans who looted the communities.” The mayor of the regional council encompassing most of the Gaza border explained: “The second wave of Arabs who came into the country were just as cruel as the terrorists of the first wave.”
Throngs of Gazan civilians then cheered the ghoulish site of Hamas parading bloodied, captured, and dead Jews’ bodies through the streets. Gazans beat the Jews as they passed by.
Overjoyed Palestinian Arabs in Judea/Samaria (the “West Bank”) also cheered the massacre, dancing in the streets. Unfortunately, this is nothing new. Palestinian Arabs routinely joyously celebrate when Arab terrorists murder Jewish children.

Honor the Sun: Summer Solstice ☀️
As the warm rays of the sun envelope us, we find ourselves at the Summer Solstice, also known as Litha or Midsummer. This holiday celebrates the sun’s power.
Tumblr media
Summer Solstice is observed on June 21, 2023. This is the longest day of the year, and the shortest night. Litha is about the power of the sun. Before we welcome the dark side of the year, we acknowledge the peak of the solar year.
Many see Litha as a time of balance between light and dark, masculine and feminine energies, and our realm and the other. It’s a time to connect with nature, and enjoy the company of others.
The sun is shining the brightest on this day, symbolizing the peak of light and the triumph of the sun over darkness. The warmth of the sun gives us a sense of renewed strength and inspiration. It’s a reminder to embrace the abundance of beauty and nature surrounding us.
The Anglo-Saxons brought Litha with them to the British Isles when they settled in the 5th and 6th centuries. The Celts celebrated Litha, with the planting season just passing and wanting to call in a great harvest. It was essential to appease the solar Gods in some way. They would have hilltop bonfires and dancing. Many people would jump over the bonfires for good luck.
Many cultures have honored Gods and Goddesses of the Sun. These deities can be worshiped during Litha.
Some traditions believe in the battle of light and dark, where the Oak King and Holly King fight for control. During each Solstice, they battle for power and the balance shifts. The Oak King, who represents daylight, rules from the Winter Solstice to Litha. During this time, the day steadily gets longer. During Litha, when the Holly King wins, the days get darker until Yule.
Litha Correspondences:
Key Words: Warmth, Manifestation, Love, Light, Fertility, Unity, Success, Strength
Symbols: Sun, Flowers, Trees, Mushrooms, Honey, Bees
Herbs & Plants: Chamomile, Lavender, St. John’s Wort, Rosemary, Sunflowers, Daisy, Oranges
Colors: Gold, Green, Light Blue, Orange, Pink
Animals: Bees, Cows, Horses, Dragonfly, Songbirds
Tumblr media
How to Celebrate Litha:
For most modern-day Pagans, Litha is a day of inner power and brightness. Fire rituals and barbecues are a common way to celebrate. This holiday celebrates Earth’s abundance and personal power.
Decorate the House and your altar. Adorn your altar with symbols of the sun, flowers, herbs and items that represent Litha. Some ideas: gold objects or coins, yellow and white flowers, lavender, circular items, symbols of the sun, seasonal flowers, fruits or crops (strawberries, sunflowers), citrus fruits.
Gather loved ones for a Litha feast, abundant with seasonal fruits, vegetables and herbs. Having a summer barbecue counts! Savor the flavors of the Earth’s bounty and share in the joy of community. As you dine, express gratitude to the land for the nourishment.
Kindling a bonfire is a time-honored tradition of Litha. Traditionally, people stayed up all night on Midsummer’s Eve to welcome and watch the sunrises. Bonfires were lit on tops of hills and at sacred places to honor the Sun. A bonfire represents the Sun at the peak of its strength. People danced and leaped around them. Coals from the Midsummer fire were scattered on the fields to ensure good harvest. Today, you can gather friends and family to hold a Midsummer Night’s Fire Ritual. Celebrate the season with a big bonfire and form a circle around the dancing flames. As the fire crackles, offer gratitude for the sun’s life-giving energy. Release any burdens of negativity into the fire, allowing the power of flames to cleanse or renew your spirit. In addition, you can write these things down and burn them in the fire to symbolically let go of what is no longer serving you.
If you prefer spending your time alone this Summer Solstice, there are plenty of small ways you can celebrate.
Craft a beautiful flower crown using vibrant blossoms or herbs that correlate to the holiday. Wear it as a symbol of your connection to nature.
Take a stroll through a blooming garden, a lush forest, or a sunkissed meadow. Listen to the melody of a birdsong, breathe in the fresh air, and take in the majesty of nature. Allow yourself to be in the present moment, embracing the interconnectedness of all beings. Gather flowers, herbs, or stones that resonate with you to use in rituals or as decoration.
Meditate about the light and dark forces in the world or in yourself. Find ways that you can bring more lightness into your life and get in touch with the joyful parts of life. Journal, do yoga, practice self-care or take a walk. Stargazing is another way to reflect on yourself.
Focus on your goals and nurture your intentions. You should see results in the harvest season.
Find a natural body of water such as a river, lake or ocean and immerse yourself in the waters, or at least a part of your body. As you do this, visualize negative energies or emotions being washed away. Offer a prayer of gratitude to the water element for its purifying properties.
Cast spells of fruition. It’s a great time for spells of success, abundance, love, purification, protection and parenthood.
This celebration beckons us to embrace the power of the sun and revel in the abundance of the summer season. Celebrate life, growth, and the eternal cycle of nature. May the blessings of Litha fill our hearts with warmth and inspiration through the year!

Sant Joan (Saint John’s Day or Midsummer Day) is celebrated on the night of the 23rd of June and on the 24th of June. It’s the shortest night of the year.
It’s very widely celebrated in all the Catalan-speaking countries (Northern Catalonia, Catalonia, Andorra, la Franja, the Valencian Country, the Balearic Islands and l’Alguer) to the point that it’s considered the national day of the Catalan Countries.
The tradition is to celebrate the night of Saint John’s Eve (in Catalan: la revetlla de Sant Joan) by staying up all night with friends, throwing firecrackers and making bonfires. People eat coca de Sant Joan (a sweet flatbread like in the photo above) and coca de llardons (lard flatbread) and drink cava (Catalan champagne). On the day of Sant Joan, families have a big lunch together.
In addition to this, some areas also add their own local traditions, which often also have to do with fire. The most famous ones are the Sant Joan festivities in Ciutadella (Menorca) and the falles in the Pyrenees (Catalonia and Andorra).
Fire is a very important element in Catalan festivities. It’s believed to come from pre-Christian rituals, where fire is understood as a purifying element and at the same a way to worship or homage the sun, given that Sant Joan is the summer solstice.
According to Catalan legends, the night of Sant Joan is the most magical moment of the year. On that night, you are likely to find magical beings such as follets and fairies who might try to play tricks on you, so be careful!
There are also many superstitions for this night, the most famous of which is that jumping over the bonfire will give you good luck for the next year or will make your wishes come true.
Tumblr media
Other superstitions have to do with water. Catalan legends say that all water sources are magical on Saint John’s Night. Many people go bathe in the sea, and some people jump over 9 waves with their backs turned towards the coast, because old beliefs say it brings happiness for the year.
