Basically, my cousin and his wife go to a Baptist church that they say they really like. But they won’t formally join, because they don’t want to sign an agreement saying they believe and will follow all of the teachings of that church because they don’t agree with all of them (one easy example is that the church says no alcohol but they still drink some, but there are some other things as well).
I think this is weird and don’t get going to a church where you don’t actually agree and don’t actually want to join. However, I am curious if this is just the Catholic in me of it others feel the same.
