Summary: Your ex wife Natasha attends your most recent party as you just got freshly divorced from Carol.

AN: I can't seem to find an ending for Chapter 3 (P.S. I Want You) so it might take even longer than expected but it'll be one hell of a long chapter. I also have like 2-3 one shots almost ready to post!

"I don't get why you're throwing me a divorce party. Carol and I separated on good terms." You shouted it over the music to your best friend Kate, who planned this party with the help of Yelena your other close friend. She was also the sister of your first ex-wife Natasha Romanoff. The two of you married young, it felt right at that time but you both slowly saw that it was a mistake to get married so fast and young. Though non of you actually regretted the marriage.

Kate scoffed. "We don't celebrate your separation Y/N. We're celebrating the start of your new beginning!" You still heard her cheerful voice over the loudish happy pop song that was currently playing. All of this made you wanna fleet fast, the good mood of the others wasn't something you needed right there, all you wanted to do was lay in bed and come up with an answer to why you couldn't ever keep a girl.

Your latest marriage with Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel was something so unexpected. You met her first after Thanos' snap and hit it off right off the bat. At the start she often times came back to earth, visiting you as much as she could before you decided to join her adventures through the galaxy. The two of you dated for a long while before marriage even came up but once it did came up you two eloped. But soon afterwards you missed the earth and the people on the planet. So Carol and you tried long distance again with you visiting her in the galaxy a bunch of times. At one point after undoing the snap, both of you realized that just didn't work anymore.

Your second marriage was bad timing, but you believe that there had to be more than just that. Sharon was an amazing lover, sadly her good heart that you loved most about her got her in trouble. She helped Captain America during the Civil War which made her a fugitive. Your wife was a wanted criminal, you didn't mind since you knew her honest and innocent intention of helping an Avenger but she had to hide for an unknown period of time. As time went by, growing apart naturally happened.

And there was your first marriage, your first true love Natasha Romanoff. It all started off as a cover for her to be in the country. Marrying such a goddess was not something you wanted to decline. You soon fell in love with her but she didn't, especially not with the amount of trauma she had but you didn't care. The patience and understanding you had gave her time to adjust and heal. She fell for you too and it was a bliss. Your marriage was far from perfect with you both being so young and naive and making mistake after mistake but it wasn't toxic nor did you guys made each other feel anything but loved. Reality hit hard soon and you both struggled with the weight of the world and the relationship on your shoulders.

Why couldn't you ever keep a girl tied to you? Why was the timing always wrong? What did the universe had against you loving women?

The misery had to be written over your face since Kate suddenly jumped up and down, trying to get you in a good mood. "Oh c'mon! Celebrating new beginnings is not bad." She was right but it still didn't help you and your failed marriages. And as if things aren't bad enough already, Natasha appeared next to you right when 'Hips Don't Lie' by Shakira started playing. It was your and Nat's song. She recognized the song immediately and raised her eyebrow at you. "The universe has it out for you today huh?"

You groaned, not sure if the noise covered it up. "It's all Kate's fault!" She jokingly put a hand over her heart. "First of all, RUDE. Secondly, blame it on the universe and not me. Thank you very much." Natasha giggled at your interaction. "I'm glad it's Kate's fault! I haven't seen you once in the last 5 years." That made you stop in your track. You took a long look at her from top to bottom. She was as beautiful as she had always been but she got more stunning and hot. You saw the wrinkles under the eyes from the heaviness of the snap, you knew what she sacrificed on earth since you were always near Carol when their virtual updates happened. You always felt guilty for not being able to help the ex-assassin back on earth but she also always assured Carol that she did not need more help down here.

The redness of her hair was now back again. The last time you saw her it was with short blonde hair so you did not waste a minute to tease her about it. "Finally back to red? Sick of the blonde?" She put her hand to her hair and with one swift motion the bun was undone and you could see the blonde ends of her hair. "I couldn't decide so I let my hair grow out. Now I have the best of both worlds!"

You gave her a honest smile. "Looks great on you! Though I prefer short hair on you." Natasha didn't know how to come up with proper words so she smiled back at you. Her eyes were intensely on your face, trying to memorize every little new detail she either forgot or missed over the years. Then her stare moved down towards your chest that was exposed in the black top you decided to wear. Though you guys never had sex, with the amount of time Natasha stared at your boobs she knew for sure they got bigger. Hell your whole body had changed over the span of 15 years and she didn't mind it one bit. It was the opposite instead, it intrigued her even more. The thought of exploring your body gave her a huge surge of desire. When she looked back into your eyes you saw the lust in her forest green eyes. Her gaze got you all flustered but also aroused. "Nat, stop it." She knew exactly how her gaze affected you but she didn't stop, plus in addition all she did was having that shit eating teasing grin on her face that got your heart going faster. "Has anyone told you how attractive you are?" She whispered in your ear as if it were a secret. For you, it seemed like it was another attempt to get you all hot and bothered and it worked. Her raspy voice with her warm breath gave you shivers before your whole body heated up and you couldn't stop wondering what it'd be like to have her whisper more dirty words to you. "Fuck." You said as you bit onto your bottom lip.

Before anything could go further, Natasha's sister appeared and interrupted you with no shame in the world. "If that isn't my ex sister in law Y/N -" She stopped herself since she did not know with which last name she should address you. "Which last name do you prefer now?" The redhead groaned at her sister's attempt of cockblocking her. You gave Nat a little nudge as a sign for her to behave. "Y/L/N. I don't think I'll ever marry again. Marriage is just not for me."

"That's a shame. I really thought you'd be up to marry Natasha a second time so that we could be a family once again. I miss those times." You gave the younger sister a sad smile. "Sorry to crush your dreams. Though after the divorce, I never saw you any less of family. That is still holding up our promise to be sisters forever."

"Sometimes labels doesn't need to have the legal aspect in order for it to be true." Natasha told her younger sister.

"This is getting too sappy for me. I'm gonna go find Kate Bishop." And with that the blonde sibling left. Nat and you look shocked around, only realizing now that the archer wasn't around anymore. When did Kate leave you two alone? How come non of you noticed it? You started to laugh at the ridiculousness of everything. Natasha joined in but it died down soon afterwards, leaving you both smiling at each other. The moment of sexual tension was gone now but the spark between the two of you definitely was not.

Rogue & Carol Danvers

Rogue and Carol’s relationship has been spoken about quite a bit over the years, and a ton of people want them to meet in the MCU (me included), but I always love it when they interact just because of the DRAMA. As a Carol Danvers fan, her best moments are when she’s full of raw emotion, and there’s so much of that whenever she interacts with Rogue (ironic, I know, since Rogue absorbed her memories, powers, and emotions). I also became a Rogue fan by reading about Carol's time with the X-Men.

Their first meeting was in Avengers Annual #10, but Carol was already in a dark place due to Avengers #200 (easily the worst Marvel comic ever made), where she gave birth to a son who rapidly aged and sexually assaulted her in the same issue, leading to him becoming his own father. If that wasn't bad enough, the Avengers saw nothing wrong with it, even congratulating her on the birth of her son when Carol wasn't even pregnant a few days before. I don't know how that was ever approved by editorial. It's not the focus of this post, so I won't go into detail, but here is a fantastic post about it:

Ms. Marvel gives birth to the man who kidnapped and impregnated her - Avenger #200 AKA the worst issue in the history of the Avengers

Thankfully, Chris Claremont was rightfully outraged at Carol's treatment and took over for Avengers Annual #10, where Rogue was introduced.

Destiny had prophesied to Mystique that Carol would harm Rogue, so Mystique wanted to prevent it from happening. Therefore, Rogue took things into her own hands and got to Carol first, but due to Carol's strength, Rogue held on for too long and absorbed her powers and memories. She then threw her off the Golden Gate Bridge into the water below, but thankfully, Carol was saved by Jessica Drew, who then became a long-time confidant and best friend, although everyone knows they're girlfriends. Carol survived the attack only because she was a human-Kree hybrid. After that, Rogue attacked the Avengers the next day. Teenage Rogue was a menace, lmao. Professor X then helped Carol remember who she was, and she absolutely dragged the Avengers for letting Marcus kidnap her. It's glorious. She then left the Avengers and hung around the X-Men for a while, where she could be under Claremont's supervision and not some other trash writer.

All Ms. Marvel was—all I was—she is. And will be—forever.

Uncanny X-Men #158

What I love most about this relationship is that these two irrevocably changed each other. They would not be who they are today without each other. Rogue, literally, wouldn’t be who she is because she absorbed a part of Carol’s personality, so a part of Carol will always live within her. Plus, while Rogue can’t fly anymore, she did for a while, and that’s only because she got the ability from Carol.

Rogue's even expressed how she doesn't know which parts are her and which parts are Carol and how she believes the best parts of her are Carol. She believes that she became a hero instead of a monster due to Carol's psyche in her brain, but it's actually quite sweet that Carol later acknowledges Rogue's growth and states that she wouldn't have come as far as she did if she didn't want to change. I also like that Carol acknowledged that they will never be friends, but they've gotten to a point where they can work together. I think it’s realistic that they’re not best friends and a part of Carol will always resent Rogue, but they can work together when required.

Mr. & Mrs. X (2018) #9 | Captain Marvel (2019) #5

While Carol literally shaped Rogue, Rogue shaped Carol in a much more traumatizing way. After Rogue took Carol's powers, she was a blank state and only remembered who she was with Xavier's help; however, she didn't have the emotional connection to her memories.

Uncanny X-Men #158

She was kidnapped and experimented on by the Brood, gaining her powers back and making her more powerful than ever by becoming Binary. Binary is my second favorite Carol-era (the first is her as Ms Marvel), and she has sooo much growth. Even though she was going through a really dark time as Binary since she was struggling with her memories, rape, and both the Avengers and X-Men letting her down, Binary shaped so much of Carol's character today as she became more of a space adventurer when before, she was just on Earth.

Uncanny X-Men #164

She didn’t know who she was and didn’t feel like Carol Danvers because she had no emotional attachment to her memories, so she ran away from Earth and stayed in space. However, she eventually realized that she was running away.

Binary is when she also first got her photon blasts; she only had super strength and flight when she was Ms Marvel, and this eventually helped her become Captain Marvel.

I love this panel because both sides are absolutely correct. Rogue left the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants and went to Professor X for help because she kept hearing Carol’s voice in her head. Charles, obviously, will never turn away any mutant, and by joining the X-Men, Rogue achieved her true potential and gained a better life than she ever would have had if she stayed with Mystique. Rogue became one of the best X-Men because Charles gave her another chance.

On the other hand, even though Carol understands why Charles would take Rogue in, she feels betrayed because both the Avengers and the X-Men have discarded her feelings, so who else does she have on Earth? After this, Carol would stay in space with the Starjammers as a coping mechanism. She would later rejoin the Avengers in the late '90s, where she's dealing with fluctuating power levels, leading her to drink due to the trauma of her rape, Rogue, and fluctuating power levels. The Avengers removed her from the team due to her alcoholism and tried to help her, but she started to spiral and lash out. Plus, due to Rogue, Carol couldn't form emotional connections with friends and family on top of her trauma from her rape, so she drank even more. After a long struggle, she eventually accepted help and became sober at Iron Man's insistence, as he knew exactly what she was going through and became her Alcoholics Anonymous sponsor. It's why I've always loved Carol and Tony's friendship. All in all, it's...not a great time for her, but I found Carol's struggle with alcoholism to be complex and heartbreaking.

(Also lol, Kitty saying that she'll never like Rogue when she and Rogue are now friends.)

While Carol was dealing with her alcoholism, Rogue was going on adventures with the X-Men, exploding in popularity. Life went on, and both characters went on their own paths.

Ms. Marvel (2006) #10

For context, an alternate version of Carol arrived to kill Rogue because Rogue attacking Carol is a constant in every universe. To Rogue's credit, she has repeatedly expressed remorse for what she did and has apologized many times, but how are you supposed to get over something like that? Therefore, Carol pretended to forgive her while also harboring resentment toward her.

In this comic, Carol also recounts what Rogue did to her and says, "Rogue hurt me in a way worse than physical pain. Her attack ripped my memories out, leaving me in a blank state. I was no one. A nonperson. I was unconscious for days as Xavier telepathically reassembled my mind. Afterwards, Charles was concerned that I rest and recover properly. Not that it's the kind of thing you ever recover from. It's been years and I still feel dirty. I've changed my costume. I've changed my name to Warbird. I've done everything I can to move on, but it's never worked."

X-Men: Legacy #270

Carol eventually truly forgave Rogue and was able to work together with her. I love it when they do. And it's important to Carol that Rogue asked if she could borrow Carol's powers because she's been powerless (physically and otherwise) for some traumatic moments in her life.

Captain Marvel (2019) #49

They finally buried the hatchet recently as Rogue shared the burden of Carol's powers to save the day, as Carol would've died from the power load. I love this moment.

All of this started because Destiny foresaw a possible future, leading to Carol’s life getting ruined, which makes Carol’s actions in Civil War II all the more frustrating. During CWII, she utilized the help of a young Inhuman, Ulysses, who saw a possible future, much like Destiny, and Carol prevented horrible events from occurring. The only problem was that she sometimes went too far, handing out punishment before the crime. Carol lost everything because Rogue attacked her before she could attack Rogue as per Destiny’s vision, which hadn’t come to pass yet. I know Bendis is infamous for ignoring continuity, so I probably shouldn’t expect anything else. Maybe it can be said that hurt people, hurt people and it’s a cycle of violence, but I think that’s giving him too much credit for one of the worst Marvel events in recent history.

In the end, Rogue and Carol will always be intertwined. Carol went on a traumatic path and hit rock bottom, but she came out of it stronger than ever, while Rogue went on a path of redemption and became one of the best superheroes in the Marvel universe.

FINE !!! i'll cave (aka i love talking about maria rambeau and no force alive can stop me...not even.........me)

what is my maria rambeau binary like AHHHH honestly she's still not fully fleshed out in my head for reasons you mentioned that i may have mentioned (i'm scared of the brains at marvel) but i think ideally starting with her backstory i want it to be completely different from carol's - i think people have pointed out that 838 maria probably had a similar story to carol because of the kree suit but binary is just BINARY - i think even in the comics (someone let me know if i'm wrong) the character kind of just is (?) like it's the powers without the person if i'm understanding what people have told me lol so i think there's a lot of room to play with who maria was before the powers if there's even a before to see!

in terms of character i think about that one interview with the captain marvel cast (the insane one where brie talked for like a minute and a half straight on how maria is the love of the film.....yeah) where the interviewer said "so maria is like a softer version of carol" and lashana very quickly was like "uhh...no" and I SO AGREE !!! i think maria, because of the era she and carol came into the airforce, had to be a lot tougher than carol actually especially as a Black woman so i want binary to reflect that part of maria the one who was top of her class at USAFA

but with that in miiiiinnnndddd......maria is funny! if you haven't read the prequel novel to captain marvel (higher further faster by liza palmer) i SOOO so recommend it! she's just as fun and ridiculous and stupid (affectionate😭) as carol and while we got little glimpses of that in captain marvel we deserve so much more

this is such a tough question to answer because in terms of "616" maria rambeau we really didn't get a lot so when i think about binary i'm like "man, i hope she's developed!" and i would count that as a win lol

when it comes to her relationship with carol..............................................I'M UNDECIDED!!!!!!!!!!

obviously she doesn't have a monica (or a monice she remembers!!!!) so that leaves us questioning what her relationship with carol is if there's one at all - i think it would be kind of funny if she had a carol and just couldn't stand her and then our carol shows up like "maria!" and binary's like "aw man" but that's just my shits and giggles idea

i don't think i want her to have a carol because i want that spot to be left open for our carol because even if they give us a binary who is in love with her carol danvers it's like okay well how often are we gonna see this universe? is it just a cop out? and i think that's a valid fear with the mcu lmaoooo - PLUS i want her to be flirty SORRY I'LL SAY IT if carol does show up and she either reminds binary of someone she lost or is someone completely new i need binary to have the space to be like "what the hell is wrong with you and why is it working on me" like i need it. i need it? i need it.

so all in allllllllllllllllllllllllll my mcu binary is all the things that maria is and we didn't get the full amount of in captain marvel and the marvels one because she deserves it and two lashana can fucking DO it!

Cheer Up Mission- rewrite

This is a rewriting of an old fanfic of mine, i added a few things and changed some stuff. Hope you enjoy (:

Words: 1801

The day Natasha and Yelena took down the Red Room was the day Y/N finally got her freedom for the first time in the almost 17 years she lived. and she had been through a lot.

from torture to almost imposibble training of the Black Widow program in the Red Room, physical and mental tests that were meant to break Y/N and the other girls in the cruel facility and turn them into mechines, cold blooded killers and assasians with no remorse in them.

Y/N had no one in her life, no family, friends or relatives so in order to save the teenage spy, Natasha took Y/N back to the S.H.I.E.L.D base.

Y/N had to go through interogations, training in the S.H.I.E.L.D base and becoming an agent. all above dealing with the trauma Y/N’s past brought on her, going through nightmares, panic attacks and flashbacks. but keeping it to herself, that's the way she was taught and raised in, not to show weakness or emotions.

It has been over half a year since Y/N was brought to the S.H.I.E.L.D base and at that time Y/N got closer with the women of the team like Natasha, Maria, Wanda and her mentor Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel. finding herself more natrually comfortable around the women of the team than the men.

lately, Y/N was more distant than usual and that came into two things she only did. being locked in her room day and night, studying or sleeping, or training in the nights when the nightmares of her past would come to hunt her in her dreams. Y/N always hated the nightmare more than anything her trauma reflected on her, she hated the way the nightmares would wake her up almost every night, she hated the way it was so realistic like she was reliving the moment she was trying so hard to forget and move on from, and mostly, she hated that soft look of pity and care that would be on one of the Avengers face when they open the door of her room to find her having another nightmare.

The only one that really treated Y/N the way she was at best fine with, was Carol. her mentor knew about her past before the Red Room and inside of it after Nick Fury, the former director of S.H.I.E.L.D and Carol’s old friend, gave Captain Marvel Y/N’s file with all the information about the 17 years old assasian that she took under her wing with the job of being a mentor to young woman.

Everytime Carol would find Y/N in her room in the middle of the night, recovering from a nightmare, she would enter the teenage girl’s room and sit next to her, helping Y/N catch her breath and calm down. without any look of pity on her face even though deep down she pitied the assassin who simply deserved a better life and childhood. Carol always wanted to do more to comfort Y/N, she wanted to hug and hold her, to tell her that everything would be better even if she doesn't know that for sure, to make her student trust her for comfort when she needs it.

It's a winter night, rain pouring outside and every few seconds there is half a second of the light from a lightning that is followed by a loud thunder. usualy those cold and rainy nights help Y/N relax and sleep better than most nights. but this time it only brought more to the horrible nightmares to the assasain.

Y/N woke up in the middle of the night and sat up on her quickly, her breath was fast and heavy and she could hear her heartbeat pounding in her head. the only thing Y/N could think of was what she saw and practically relived in that horrible nightmare, she looked around her room in the S.H.I.E.L.D HQ’s while telling herself in her head “it was just a nightmare. it was just a nightmare.”

Y/N felt the cold sweat slowly dripping from the back of neck, causing shivers to go down the assasain’s spine in the cold night. She tried to focus on her breathing as it was what she heard along with her heartbeat, not hearing or seeing her mentor, Carol, at the door of her room, watching her student deal and try her best to recover from the rough nightmare.

Carol walks into the room and silently sits down on the edge of Y/N’s bed, at first she doesn't say anything and lets the teenager in front of her calm down before she puts a warm but firm hand on Y/N’s shoulder, snapping Y/N out of her panicked state. “lay down, Y/N” Carol says in a soft and slightly caring tone while gently pulling Y/N down to the mattress of her bed as Y/N does resists but like always says “im fine, Carol, it was just a nightmare” in her usual cold tone, but Carol could see through YN’s tone or expression as her eyes give it away. Carol could see the panic in the young woman’s eyes, she could hear her heavy breath and see the slightly shaking hands of the assassin.

“you’re not fine, Y/N. I can see your hands shaking, your breathing heavily and your eyes are giving away too much.” Carol says in the same soft and caring tone but it was also firm at the same time, like she was teaching Y/N a lesson and not like she is comforting her. just like the way she did everytime she was the one to find Y/N in a panicked state after a nightmare, just like the way she knew Y/N would listen to her. In response to Carol’s word Y/N just rolls her eyes but listens to her mentor’s words and tries to calm herself down, something in the presence of Carol helps her get her breath back to being steady and her heart rate to stop racing.

Carol sat down closer to the still slightly shocked teenager and gently placed her warm hand on Y/N’s cold ones, giving her the comfort she needed by her silence. not asking questions, pushing Y/N to open up about her nightmare or trying to hug her. Carol knew the way to help her student from multiple other times she found herself in the same situation.

“Go back to sleep Y/N'' Carol said quietly and kept her hand on Y/N’s hand as the rain continued to pour outside of the high facility base. everytime a thunder is heard, Carol notices the teenage girl jumping a bit from the sound but stays quiet. Eventually Y/N falls back asleep and Carol stays in the room next to her, keeping watch in case she’ll wake up once again.

The next day the rain never stopped for a second and it was the weekend which meant a rest day for all of the agents in the S.H.I.E.L.D base,at some point of the day there was a knock on Y/N’s door, “come in.” she says and waits to see who is outside of her door, when Carol steps into her room Y/N’s gaze moves back to her phone.

“Okay, enough with this.” Carol started to say in a serious but slightly soft tone as she place her hands on her hips “enough with what?” Y/N replied back, slightly confused of what her mentor wants from her. “with that tough mask. I have never seen you even smile before and I think it's time I change that.” Captain Marvel says in a serious tone and walks closer to Y/N’s bed, sitting down on the edge of it. “There are two options for you right now, missy.” Carol states. “Smile or I'll make you smile, choose wisely.”

Y/N stares at her mentor in confusion as she sees the older Avenger grins at her “and how do you think you’ll make me smile?” Y/N asks in her cold and harsh tone but Carol just reaches out her hand towards the Black Widow and squeezes her sides fastly, causing the younger girl to let out a small shriek and cover her sides fastly. “don't you even dare-” Y/N didn't have time to finish her sentence before Carol dug her fingers into her sides, wiggling and spidering her fingers gently.

and for the first time since Carol knew Y/N, she hears her laugh, a genuine laugh. “You need to laugh more, it suits you” Carol says half teasingly while not stopping her fingers for a second with her own smile on her face. Y/N tries to push Carol’s fingers away while trying her best to hide her giggles, but failing, miserably. “Cahahaharol stohohohop ihihit” Y/N giggles and attempts to move away from her mentor.

“But why? I want to hear you laugh since you never showed it to me!” Carol teased and eventually pinned the young Black Widow with her arms above her head, holding two of Y/N’s wrists gently but firmly and slowly tracing her finger on the teenager’s stomach. Carol knows that if Y/N really wanted her to stop she would’ve made her stop. she sees Y/N under her, giggling at the feeling of her finger tracing up and down her stomach “i hahahate yohohou” Y/N said through her giggles while her mentor went for a wild guess, and hit the jackpot as her hand clawed Y/N’s ribs, causing the girl to break into laughter, uncontrollable but genuine laughter.

“oh, what do we have here?” Carol teased with a smile on her face, seeing Y/N’s face turn bright pink from the teasing. She tries to speak but Carol doesn't let her have a break as she vibrates her hands on Y/N’s ribs and squeezes her hips and sides, causing the spy to fall into silent laughter.

Eventually Carol lets go of Y/N’s wrists and stands back up with a proud smile on her face. seeing Y/N curl up slightly and puts her hand on her ribs, recovering from that cruel tickle attack she just got from her mentor. “nohohot a sihihingle word.” Y/N threatened through her quiet giggles which made Carol chuckle “let this be our little secret.”

And with those words she left Y/N’s room, leaving the assassin with a small smile on her face for the rest of the day.

From an article of last year Matt confirming by it by saying it three times in a row how important she is... (And that synced hearts therefore)

They try to hide her bc most people believe that "She's been absorbed and doesn't play a big role" stuff.

Just as a reminder for everyone still thinking she doesn't play a a big role in 5...you are looking at 7 Mio USD for S5 (that's Tier 2 like the four boys but they were in S1) as it has been reported. She got a raise.

If Sadie would have been in S1, I would argue she'd get now more than the 4 boys since she now gets equal pay (you can't explain this solely with a "break through" when some of the older actors get way less). - The Duffers are good in hiding stuff, they even invented a name for Jamie's role as a proxy. But through Matt we know that her role is big and I predict that it's big even though I had similar thoughts as others initially (not a big role to play).

But well, when you look at the two 5'6s or 11s in this game, you get an idea that it's not a miniscule role. Superheroes put in coma to wake up from it (changed) isn't new. Ask Carol Danvers aka Binary aka Captain Marvel.

And language...

See, the interactions between El and the boys would then be "They find a girl, a weirdo, and hide her in the basement etc etc"? That doesn't make any sense, so... Oh, he said Eleven. Not El.

(noticed that everyone calls her Eleven? Like they are supposed to do this and not "El"? Especially the Duffers do this. Similar to Brenner only using numbers not names. 😉)

With the upcoming release of "THE MARVELS", I find myself ruminating on a topic that I have brought up before. I'm sorry, but I cannot help it. The origin tales of both Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel and Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel were played out in their own respective solo productions. Yet, the MCU had only allowed Monica Rambeau's origin as Photon to be played out in someone else's solo production - namely "WANDAVISION".

I've asked this before and I'll ask again. Why? Why was Monica denied her own solo production before the release of "THE MARVELS"? I can only assume that this denial had originated with the MCU and Disney Studios' own racism. I've read other explanations for this, but they all came up empty, as far as I'm concerned.

I am so sick & tired of stupid Comicsgaters citing Civil War II as an excuse to be bigoted against Ms. Marvel!

Y'all wanna know what one of the most irritating false narratives that I've heard bigoted Comicsgaters like Richard "Dickie" Meyer constantly spew? The idea that Kamala Khan is somehow a "fascist brownshirt thought cop" simply due to her Civil War II tie-ins wherein she briefly aligned with her idol Carol Danvers' "predictive justice" program of using psychic visions of the future to prevent crimes before they happened, but Ms. Marvel later switched over to Iron Man's side in the conflict after she realized that such a system was essentially profiling and a violation of people's civil liberties and due process that already hurt two of her friends.

Now personally I've always loved the Ms. Marvel tie-ins to CWII and feel that they were easily the best things to come out of that otherwise highly infamous event comic, feeling that they not only explored relevant social issues like profiling and policing, but also themes of outgrowing hero-worship as Kamala is forced to turn against Captain Marvel whom she idolizes so much in order to do what's right, and the arc also served as a prelude to my personal favorite Ms. Marvel storyline "Mecca" since it allowed the new antagonist Lockdown (aka, "Basic Becky the Junior Fascist") to radicalize Kamala's former friend Josh Richardson into becoming the fascist supervillain Discord.

Also, if Kamala was truly a "fascist brownshirt" like these idiots CGers claim, then why do these scenes happen?

Kinda disproves their whole narrative, doesn't it? Still though... ever since that scumbag Richard Meyer showed his ugly face he's constantly used Kamala's CWII tie-ins to demonize Kamala as being this "irredemable sociopathic fascist brownshirt who crippled her friend Bruno for life." Except... NO SHE DIDN'T!!! Bruno tried to break Josh out of Becky's makeshift prison with a high-tech lock-pick that malfunctioned and exploded on him. Meyer also conveniently ignores the fact that Kamala briefly aligning with Carol for the first half of the story before realizing that she was on the wrong side and tried to correct her mistakes directly mirrors Peter Parker's actions with Iron Man and the Pro-Registration side in the original Civil War.

But I don't see Meyer calling Spidey a "fascist brownshirt." I smell some racist & misogynistic double standards here!

Like, Meyer singlehandedly started that bullcrap argument about Kamala with his AWFUL videos (similar to Lily Orchard and her bullcrap narrative about Rebecca Sugar being a "fascist apologist"), and everytime I see Meyer or other CGers mention it I immediately facepalm and say, "For crying out loud... ARE THEY STILL GOING ON ABOUT THAT?!"

- Nick Fury works with The Avengers again

- Monica Rambeau is head of quantum mechanics/physics working with The Avengers. She’ll eventually gain powers and become a “marvel”, alongside Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel and Kamala Khan/Ms.Marvel

- Peter Parker / Spider-man won’t be an official Avenger, but he’ll contribute sometimes. I’m also scripting in Miles Morales and Gwen Stacy so Peter won’t get lonely

- Yelena and Shang Chi join The Avengers

- Shang Chi’s sister, Xialing, who will become head of the Ten Rings organization, will be an ally to The Avengers (the Golden Daggers fight club is a great place to gain intel on various groups in the mcu)

- The Golden Daggers fight club is actually where I’ll meet Jack Russel, a werewolf, who was there to free his friend who got into trouble, Ted aka Man-Thing (from there I can explore more of the supernatural/monster world in the mcu)

- I forgot to add this but Wakanda is also in alliance with the Avengers and have already freed Bucky from Hydra’s programming

- T’Challa / Black Panther and Shuri aren’t part of the Avengers but they are powerful allies and visit the Compound/Tower occasionally

- OH RIGHT so do the Guardians of the Galaxy (but very rarely)
