fuck him for singling me out, I had suddenly never worked a job in my life 😂 (he asked me what job I worked. I told him "IT" after a lot of pointing to make sure he really meant me, but he just understood that I made tea, so I mimed typing. And he went "aaah! Computer things! So you're the smart one. Not like me, I'm the monkey." (Paraphrased because aaaaah)
I'm so so happy I got to see bulbasaur cap! Käärijä in person
he threw water into the audience near the start (not the CCC water) and a few droplets caught me. Much better than with a detour through Bojan's mouth
I felt a little bad for the girl next to me filming hhh because I was excitedly yelling along 😂
the girls during icip were so good? And he interacted with them in such a lovely way? Recreated the weird run where Tommy chases him across the stage, and they all fell to the floor, and idk if Käärijä just wanted to fistbump them, but they pulled him up from the floor and he just. Did not cooperate a lot 😂 so they remarked (bc they still had the microphone) "oof, he's heavy"
he was also so so careful to get consent before touching either of the girls on stage, but in a way that felt like he just Does That? He'd also told us that we're a family and that we should kiss each other, bit that you need to ask before you kiss someone and if they say no, you don't miss them, simple as that (unsure if the family bit and kissing bit were the same banter segment)
Jesse had to come in stage and do… Idek what it was. Oh! Open a water bottle for him 😂 that was a lovely little moment

I was drenched after the concert. I jumped a whole lot (and have already seen myself on Mikke footage 😂) and I will be dead tomorrow but I think it will have been worth it
apparently he was still asleep at doors, which might have been the cause for the delay? Or 1 hour simply being a little short to get 1.6k people into the room
Jesse told the people still waiting (not us, I was already asleep at the time) to please not ask for autographs when Käärijä went to the bus but they all got handshakes and apparently a thank you speech
Salena came on stage but she didn't really know any lyrics, and a nice Finnish woman I talked to in the queue told me afterwards, “such a shame, she was so unprepared, you could wake Bojan in the middle of the night and he'd be able to just go rankka viikko ja paljon…”
I didn't actually see a lot of Salena at the beginning because we were all squatted down

Bulbasaur Facts
-The scientific name for Bulbasaur is "Bulbus viridis" which means "Green bulb"
-Despite common belief, Bulbasaur are actually amphibians
-Despite being amphibians, they don't spend much time in the water and prefer to spend their time in humid environments
-Bulbasaur "ears" are mostly used to convey emotions. Their real ears are located behind them (headcanon from @prof-peach )
-Due to being cold-blooded, Bulbasaur often go into hibernation during the cold or winter weather. Ones that live in tropical climates are usually quicker, as the warmth allows them to move faster
-Bulbasaur eggs are often laid in or on top of the water to provide the right temperatures for them
-Bulbasaur are very vocal pokemon and have been known to hum tunes to themselves. This is where the myth of singing to plants help them grow (headcanon from @poke-planet )
-The Bulbasaur found in tropical climates tend to be bigger
-Bulbasaur are the most common starters to be found in the wild (albeit, still quite rare)
-In a region on the same continent as Kanto and Johto, Bulbasaur's name is "妙蛙种子 (miàowā zhǒngzi)," which literally means, "Wonderful Frog Seed"
-Before evolving, Bulbasaur seeds will turn blue. If they don't want to evolve, they have to struggle a lot harder than other pokemon to stop it. If your Bulbasaur doesn't want to evolve, it's very important to get them an everstone
-In the past, the entire Bulbasaur line was a lot more toxic than they are now. One touch from them could kill 10,000 people!
-Bulbasaur seeds are edible and taste very bitter. They were popular for the upperclassmen of Kanto for a while, which is one of the things that has contributed to their rarity
-If a Bulbasaur dies and their seed is planted in the ground, a Venasaur flower will grow. These flowers are known as "Venus Flowers"
-Bulbasaur will paw at the ground to find a comfortable spot
-Bulbasaur are very curious Pokemon and will walk up to travelers to investigate them

I couldn't sleep, so I made a list of pokemon teams for Avatar the Last Airbender.
TEAM AVATAR
Aang- Bouffalant (Appa), Emolga (Momo), Flygon (earth), Charizard (fire), Togetic/kiss or Alteria? (air), Mantine (water)
Katara- Lapras, Froslass (to represent the Painted Lady), Chansey (healing), Tentacruel? (poison type to represent bloodbending?), Primarina? (Starter?), Basculegion (to represent her tribe and their losses for which she fights)
Sokka- Lucario (given to him as a Riolu by Suki), Tyrogue (might evolve into Hitmontop, might not evolve at all), Ursaluna (given to him as a teddiursa by Yue), Minior (to represent the meteor he made his sword out of. Probably blue color, but maybe shiny?), Samurott (his starter probably), Klinklang (to represent his tinkering skills)
Toph- Excadrill (badgermoles, obviously), Steelix (metalbending), Machamp (her championship title), Tinkaton, Gallade (given to her as a Ralts by her parents as a kind of "seeing eye pokemon" that she turned into a fighter. Kept an everstone on it until she joined the gaang), Bewear (another gift from parents, but this time as more like a bodyguard.)
Zuko- Pyroar M (prince), Doublade (swords), Ceruledge (blue spirit), Annihilape (anger issues), Alolan Marrowak (mom issues), Kommo-o (dragon)
Suki- Mienshao, Urshifu (I want her to have 3, but couldn't think of a good 3rd one, except maybe she has both forms of Urshifu?)

• I purposefully made it so only the main characters/bad guys had more than 3 pokemon.
• I almost gave Zuko a Rayquaza, but he wouldn't have a legendary until he becomes Fire Lord
• Except for the Bouffalant, all Aang's pokemon can fly. (Regional varient that can fly?)
• As he is the Avatar, should all Aang's pokemon be shiny?
• Azula's crew all have an eeveelution. Azula has two, and I imagine the flareon used to belong to Zuko, but it was taken from him after the Agni Kai and banishment.
• Ty Lee wants to keep her eevee unevolved. Azula might convince her to "make it more powerful." If she does, it'll be a Sylveon.
• Zuko and Azula's mom got both of them a litleo each as kids.
• Fire Nation mostly use fire types, but electric are common enough. Earth Kingdom is mostly ground and rock, but steel is ok. Air Nomads obviously use mostly flying, but fairy is common. Water Tribes use mostly water and ice, but obviously the swamp tribe uses grass.
• The Earth King still has just a bear. It's not a pokemon. It's a bear.

Pokémon cafe date cuz their very silly N adorable like them N that vid of Jere singing the Pokémon theme in Finnish got me out of writers block so yippee :D) get urself a fluffy blanket N ur fave snacks cuz I’m here 2 tell the story of the date that got our dear Bojci 2 propose 2 his man after waiting 4EVER 2 find a good time 2 pop the question: It had been almost a whole year by now since Bojan finally quit chickening out N asked the man with a weird haircut N a laugh that made his knees buckle N released a million butterflies straight 2 his stomach 2 be his boyfriend that memorable night which still comes back 2 him in his dreams even now,the man he was taking out on one of the last dates b4 he could hopefully call him his fiancé.The man in question was clad in one of Bojan’s various sweaters,same one he wore when they first made out wayy back in Tavastia after everything was done N the then brothers N maybe something more headed back 2 Jere’s 4 the night,a bouquet of dandelions in one hand which he hid behind his back till Jere saw the ever so familiar figure of his extremely gorgeous boyfriend.As soon as their eyes locked everything felt lighter,almost as if time had stopped right there so he could feel his Bojci’s lips on his own 4 however long the bowlcut adorning Finn wished,breaking the kiss only 2 catch some air N whip the large bouquet of dandelions from behind his back 2 give 2 his rakas (Bojan straight up lifted Jere N spun him around a few times cuz of how much he loved not only him but the gift he had been hiding all this time 🥰) putting the shorter man down N feeling him giggle into his chest,their hands intertwined N walked into the Pokémon cafe that Jere had been yapping on about 4 months.Finding their booth that Bojan had booked a week prior (while Jere got distracted by a set of Bulbasaur N Squirtle plushies that decorated the seats next 2 them which gave our lil Bojci time 2 check if the ring box was still in his pocket 4 later which he totallyyy didn’t check atlest 10 times tyvm :3).Meanwhile both men ordered N flirted 4 what felt like an eternity,staring deeper into his bby boos Disney princess esc eyes which made him almost forget why he chose this place 2 pop the question,as if his fragile ass nerves would let him tho.One by one their food was delivered with Bojan’s Rowlet shaped grill cheeses coming first then Jere’s Pikachu themed pancakes following after + the twos drinks,Jere’s being a Bulbasaur inspired hot chocolate with ALOT of foam N Bojan’s was an Evie themed latte with just as much foam as his boyfriends if not more (that kinda got all over his noise so Jere had 2 lick it off cuz yk he would but it’s not like Bojci’s complaining if its his beautiful,hot asf darling of a man doing it ☺️).When they both finished their meal N left the cafe Jere saw a stand filled 2 the brim with all kinds of flower bouquets in every colour,ribbon style U could think of,that was when Bojan knew he had 2 do it right there N then seeing how his soon 2 be fiancé’s eyes light up N how his smile could split his face in half if it was any bigger just by seeing the huge display made him stop questioning if he rlly wanted 2 marry the man who’s hands were pulling him with all the force he had 2 the stand so that’s just what Bojan did,as Jere turned 2 show his rakastani a beautifully decorated pink N yellow tulip bouquet he found it was on the floor as quickly as it was picked up,the sight narrowed 2 only the view of Bojan on one knee holding out a very expensive gold ring with two gems engraved into it,one pink N the other green when it all fell into place.HIS gorgeous,amazing,wonderful,lovely Slovene was asking him 4 his hand 2 set the promise of belonging only 2 the Finn forever in concrete,ofc he said yes N then they both cried into eachothers necks while hugging as if everything up until now would all disappear in a blink of an eye except the only thing that disappeared was then into a field close 2 the town where they could rlly set that promise in concrete if yk what I mean.
BOJERE POKéMON DATE THAT'S SO CUTE!!!!! The Rowlet grilled cheeses look fcking delicious ngl I would killll to have such a date with someone I love <3 The proposal too aggh they're too adorable!! I love how Bojan indulges Jere in his interests and them running off into a field together at the end is so sweet :') ❤️❤️ Thanks so much for the lovely moodboard and story as always 💚

Tonight I learned that Bulbasaur hum quietly when they're extremely content. Sort of like purring but more melodic. I know they "sing" when large groups of them gather. But this is different. I've got Bubba on my lap and we're just watching TV, nothing special. I was absentmindedly stroking his forehead, and he started humming.
When I had my first Bulbasaur we were too busy battling and journeying to really have moments like this. I feel guilty about that now. I'm so grateful to have gotten the chance to raise another.
He's still humming. I am crying happy tears. I could stay like this forever.

Before starting some christmas doodles and/or dtiys brainstorm thumbnails i wanted to do a thought experiment and draw down every new tattoo idea I have as if money, time and pain tolerance wasnt an issue 😆 so here is what I would look like if all my ideas got made :3
1) words under right collarbone reading: "write your own story" - at the end there is a peacock feather pen still in the midst of writing the "y". Reminder to myself that this life I am living is my own and I get to decide what story I want it to be.
2) Harpy in a dynamic pose with wings stretched out and top surgery scars. The motive may change since the idea mostly is to cover up a feature i have started to become insecure about (my thigh) and make it into something I can be proud of (an artwork)
3) If I am lucky enough to meet either Jere or Bojan I will ask them to write "Are You" on something that I then want tattooed on me. This is probably the least meaningful i just love them so much i want a part of them on my skin as the parasocial delulu fan I am xD
4) a logo i have made for my own artist persona/singer songwriter persona. Placement may change. Represents my passion with singing and songwriting.
5) Flapjack from the Owl House with a brush in his mouth. Tribute tattoo to my grandmother who passed away last year. This tattoo i do have (made by Christine at Cray Cray Ink in Copenhagen on March 23 2023).
6) Eevee sitting down tilting his head where he wears a tiara with the transgender symbol on it. Eevee was my favourite pokemon and to this day i love the symbolism of the eeveelutions for the trans readings of the whole thing. The tiara just makes it more obvious plus its cute.
7) Bulbasaur with a studded collar. Ngl this one is here because I love Jere and that he fits with Eevee and Flapjack.
8) an ouroboros snake all the way across my arm making an infinity symbol. The infinity symbol is a nod to the autistic symbol while the snake is mostly here to nod to norse mythology. Probably one the tattoos that are mostly here for aesthetic reasons and that I am most likely to drop.
9) a flagpole with a t-shirt reading Ihan Sama on it. A reference to both the coverart and the lyrical content of käärijä's song Paidaton Riehuja (he has put the shirt on a flag pole when taking it off and screams ihan sama aka whatever at his insecurities about his looks at the beginning of the song). Feel connected to the song on both a gendered way and as inspiration to love myself and my body. Still figuring out if it would be most fun to have on my left arm (easier to see) or down my side (right where I have the second most body insecurity therefore being a reminder to love that part of myself)
10) the three birds concept - i mentioned it in another post so I wont go into detail here - will be running along with my left collarbone so the peacock tail is resting on the shoulder
11) my newest idea for a post-op chest tattoo is one of these adorable fox doodles created by Frederikke at Shay Ink in Odense - the fox will be wearing the bolero pointing metalforks into the air. Under it will be written this lyric from CCC: Enkää pelkääkään tätä maailmaa.
12) an ansuz rune on my left lower arm. Represents tons of things from my heritance (dane aka viking), interest in norse mythology, humanity, creativity, interest in language (last three is all meanings the rune has in itself), my autism, asexuality and aromaticism (since ansuz is also an old version of the letter 'a') together with being a nod to the käärijä concert I watched two days prior (the font being related to the käärijä font). This tattoo is one I already have and was made by Caroline at the psycadelic unicorn in Berlin.

Kangaskhan (caught in the Safari Zone, is good friends with Chansey but is more serious by comparison. While nurturing, Kangaskhan also gets annoyed by Brock's lovesick tendencies, so it helps Venusaur in knocking some sense into him.)

YES !!!!!! MEWMEW IS ACTUALLY WHAT PROMPTED THE POST SO LETS GET IT. Also I'm gonna do all of them. Because >:3c
MEWMEW - (Either Normal/Steel or Fairy/Steel, but the Steel has to be there. I like to think m was an elite 5 trainer until mew decided to retire and settle down.)
- Blissey/Clefable [Most obvious picks imo, but these thangs are TANKS while still being very sweet, much like Mewmew :] Aggressive healing and Metronome just sounds like a strategy m would use tbh.]
- Klefki [Listen. M is a cat. This is the key jingle Pokémon. M can and should have one of these bad boys]
- Togekiss [Vibes-wise I think Togekiss is THE Mewmew Pokémon. Its round, its smiley and its AWESOME ok. Trust me I am Pokémon expert, Mewmew would love this guy]
- Tinkaton [Listen.......its THE big hammer cute little wee face Pokémon. It's Mewmew coded]
- Snorlax [Same reasoning as togekiss, but with the added bonus of being on the tankier side so it balances it out more. Very beautiful very powerful. Also the little ears it has just makes me think of ms own lil' ears :]]
- Magearna [I know its a little op to give m a mythical Pokémon....but have you considered that Mewmew is the world's specialest kitty. Also these two give me the similar vibes tbh, especially with the Moon description being "Its mechanized body is merely a vessel. Its true self is its Soul-Heart, an artificial soul".]
NAN - (Flying, because she's the silly birt :] also, I think she's a gym leader of some kind)
- Pidgeot [Nan strikes me as the kind of person who'd catch her own Pokémon without the help of professors tbh, so I think her starter being a pidgey makes sense ! They're easy to catch, are everywhere and are still pretty dang solid as Pokémon. I like to think she and this pidgeot grew up alongside each other, and although its not much of a battler anymore, they used to have glory days together :] ]
- Unfezant [Same reasoning for pidgeot, but also, it just has SO much sass. I think Nan would love Pokémon with attitudes, so she would deliberately catch hard Pokémon to train just for the challenge]
- Swablu [It's a little bird.......its blue.... I think she deserves a little guy Pokémon that looks exactly like her /silly]
SIRU - (Dark, cuz you just know she's seein' the horrors <3 maybe Ice too. Probably a regular trainer, long past wanting to be an elite 5 gal, but still has a theme bc she has STANDARDS)
- Sneasel -> Weaville [Probably her starter tbh, I can see it. Its her Permanently Smug Emotional Support Guy !! It loves fighting, but Siru is So So Sleepy and Tired she just gets dragged around by her Pokémon <3]
- Froslass [I just think it fits her really nicely !! Also, the singing thing.......I think Siru would find comfort in it, in a fucked up way. I too sing songs of death lil guy, do you wanna be my travel buddy*]

LASSI - (Water/Grass, I just couldn't pick one, he gives both vibes !! He's the Haru (Pokémon sun and moon rival) to Siru in my humble opinion)
- Bulbasaur/Squirtle [Look at this man's face and tell me right now he wouldn't be charmed by one of these little guys. Honestly I think if he could, he'd get both.]
- Quagsire [I just think he would be so enamored with the goofiness of it. He doesn't even know if it's very good for combat, he sees it the first time and doesn't even hesitate in catching it.]

The forest bathes itself in the dim glow of twilight, practically singing with the wind rustling through the trees. The damp smell of decay permeates the air as the shambling bodies of Rexes pass by, forever condemned to wander and weave through the mushrooms.
Turning around only reveals a tangle of vines that curls out of the ground, blocking the exit. There is no chance of turning back for either Epona or Ben.
And yet... there's something else in the woods. Something that Ben perhaps wasn't expecting.
A trio of Bulbasaur travel across the road, plodding along. One yawns and turns to face Ben, staring with blank, milky-white eyes. It stops, alongside the other two. They gaze with those empty eyes, refusing to utter a sound.
Then just as they stop, they scatter away again. Into the bushes.
And somewhere, in the treetops above, a figure appears. His back is turned to Ben as he sits on the branches, a cloak wrapped about his tiny frame. A pair of vines secure him to the tree from underneath.
And just as quickly, he vanishes.

[FIC SEARCH] Hey, uh I need a little help, bcs Idk who else to ask? Have u ever read a Ash raised by Pokemon fic that has him talking Poke-speech and acting more like a Mon than human?
- Aaaand I just realized that doesn't narrow it down at all whoopss 😂 -
I don't remember the details it's been sooo long. The one thing I remember the most is Ash being so comfortable around Mons he's basically a disney princess without the singing, Bulbasaur calling and treating Ash like a hatchling, Misty and Brock sees tidbits of Ash's oddity and are slowly figuring it out and waiting for Ash to come out on his own.

Introduced smallest brother (7) to pokemon mystery dungeon on the switch earlier
Highlights include:
The game calling him rude during the intro quiz, him getting offended and then calling it rude and the ensuing text where the quiz threatens to throw hands with him
Anyway he was assigned treecko
He decided he was a cyndaquil
He couldn't think of a name for his partner bulbasaur and then bullied bulbasaur for being called bulbasaur the bulbasaur
Bulbasaur then called him weird
Caterpie is his favourite bc caterpie was nice to him
He attempted to refuse to form a rescue team 5 times. Fool that he is, he does not know this was never an option
Started chanting 'free house' when bulbasaur showed him to the team base
"Do I get to fight dialga soon?" (I have told him primal dialga is not in this game. He insists it is)
Informed me that if he was suddenly a cyndaquil he would just carry on as normal
He then realised he would not have thumbs and lamented how he wouldn't be able to play football
Convinced that the characters eat the mail bc why else does it disappear when you look in the mailbox?
He's not used to game consoles and got caught in a loop talking to bulbasaur bc he kept spamming A and didn't know how to stop
"Magnemites are the ones that go 'magnemite magnemite'!"
He refuses to use felicity bank or kangaskan storage bc he does not trust either of them
Wants to fight lombre
Spent several minutes hopping through the hole connecting the base and pelipper post singing "secret tunnel"
"Woah I have sunglasses!" (Found a scope lens)
Player character experienced a prophetic dream and immediately forgot it. Informed me that if he had a prophetic vision he would just remember it. It's that easy
