Roger met Dominique when she was working as assistant for Richard Branson, when he was organizing Queen's Hyde Park concert on 18 September 1976. On 16 October the band went to Kempton Park to launch the A Day At The Races album, and he turned up to that with his girlfriend Jo, but it seems Roger ended it with her and by 1978 he was in a public relationship with the French brunette.
There are plenty of pictures of her following Roger and Queen on tour and having fun with him at parties, later with their children too, and her fashion taste seems to match Roger's very well! Dominique looks like a classy but humorous lady, with beautiful glossy black hair and lean, long legs.
At the end of a long time stable relationship (Roger has always been against the idea of marriage) they got married on 25 January 1988 with Freddie Mercury and Mary Austin signing the register as witnesses. Taylor informed the press that he and Beyrand were undergoing a trial separation, and despite the press tried to make a scandal out of it, their relationship was already over when he started dating Debbie Leng. The marriage was most of all for their children Felix and Rory.

Queen is touring in Japan, crazy and hectic as always, but Brian takes the chance for a quiet night with Chrissie to comfort her pain.
My entry for the Brian & Roger's ships week 2023 - organised on @johnica-weeks - with Brian and Chrissie! There's not much mindless fluff between them, sadly (and only one fully dedicated smut!) so I wanted to make up for that and give these two some time to cuddle without any worries or angst. This fic is set in an undefined year in the late 70s/early 80s but without kids yet.

ShipChain is a completely unified system across the entire supply chain including all methods of freight, using an open API architecture that can interact with existing freight management software.
The company was established to disrupt the shipping and logistics industry by making it more efficient and affordable for everyone involved. This industry does over $8 trillion annually in revenue and is on target to nearly double that by 2023. However, it has several problems that blockchain technology can address, and this is why ShipChain was created.
ShipChain will unify shipment tracking on the Ethereum blockchain using side-chains and smart contracts. The ShipChain contract is implemented on Ethereum that can be used by anyone to establish a shipping escrow. Once the shipment is completed and verified, the contract is stored on the main blockchain. ShipChain will primarily be an open marketplace where shippers and carriers can connect and conduct business more efficiently and with greater transparency. However, there will also be ShipChain web platform, which will allow for booking and managing shipments using many different carriers and modes of transportation. ShipChain will enable tracking of shipments from the moment of origin (factory, field, etc), whether it's air, sea, rail and/or trucking, to the receiving customer via a trustless system and transparent blockchain contracts.
There are four major players who make up the shipping and logistics industry:
1) Shippers are the ones who need freight transported and are the customers of logistics services. Shippers want better pricing, more accountability and transparency.
2) The middleman (broker) coordinates with different carriers for the shipper, but charges a high premium and lacks transparency and accountability.
3) Carriers provide the transportation services, but usually have poor record keeping and need more transparency.
4) Drivers are the operators of the transportation vehicles but can lose or damage goods, and sometimes handoffs lack accountability.
There are several problems bogging down the shipping and logistics industry, and chief among them are:
It seems the major problems in the transportation and logistics industry are poor tracking along with needing more transparency and accountability. Here is how ShipChain addresses these problems:
ShipChain will employ a two-fold revenue model, focusing on both the Small and Mid-size Business market (SMB), as well as Enterprise platform development. This includes the following:
ShipChain Web - ShipChain's web platform will enable shippers to connect directly to carriers, without the traditional brokerage model. Fees will be a low percentage of the cost of shipping, and ShipChain will avoid having to hire typical telemarketing brokers, keeping the cost of selling at a minimum. This base percentage fee will be the primary income source for ShipChain Web, followed by partnerships for Cargo Insurance, as well as partner value-add services upsold on top of shipments. With a transparent fee system, ShipChain will show shippers the actual cost from the carrier, and how much they save versus the traditional brokerage model. Instant booking will be done, versus the traditional 3-4 day wait period.
ShipChain Enterprise - ShipChain will also develop custom sidechain solutions for large enterprises that need to utilize different data sources and information. ShipChain will do this as a development contractor, with all new sidechains still tying into the main blockchain. This will be custom quoted per client but will be on the scale of large ERP implementations that routinely run over seven figures.
SHIP tokens are ERC20 utility tokens to be used on the ShipChain platform. At least 1 full SHIP token will be required to access the ShipChain blockchain for booking freight and tracking shipments. Freight shipments transactions on the blockchain will be paid in SHIP tokens. Clients using the ShipChain platform can pay in fiat or cryptocurrencies, with the value being recorded on the blockchain as SHIP tokens. Up to 20% of the value of each freight transaction will be paid to the driver/carrier in SHIP tokens as gamified incentives for safe and timely deliveries.
ShipChain has put together a solid team of core staff and advisers. The team has experience and expertise in every aspect of the business including logistics, leadership, marketing, legal and blockchain development.
The CEO is John Monarch, founder, and CEO of Direct Outbound. Sami Rusani, Chief Revenue Officer, has worked with some of the most recognizable brands in the world, such as Heineken, Virgin, Sony, Virgin, Mercedes, Ogilvy, Fender, Universal Music, and VISA. Brian Evans (CMO), the Chief Marketing Officer, is the founder of the 25th fastest growing advertising/marketing agency in the U.S. and was ranked as one of the top influencers in the world on Forbes. Roger Crook is the Chief Strategy Officer and former CEO at DHL Global Forwarding.
ShipChain has put together a team of 18 advisers, with each member filling an important niche. They include Kevin Harrington, a recognizable face of the 'As Seen On TV' industry, one of the original sharks on the tv show -Shark Tank" and inventor of the infomercial. Chris Perdue is also part of the advisory team; he is the Owner and Director of Inventory Management at Perdue Agribusiness/Perdue Farms.
Along with becoming a member of the prestigious Enterprise Ethereum Alliance (EEA), ShipChain has already formed substantial partnerships. Some of their partners include Perdue Farms (the parent company of Perdue Foods and Perdue Agribusiness with annual sales surpassing $6 billion). ShipChain and Perdue Farms are collaborating to use blockchain technology with key functionalities of the Perdue Farms supply chain.
The company has also developed a partnership with Direct Outbound Services LLC, a full service warehousing and fulfillment center headquartered in Greenville, South Carolina which ships hundreds of thousands of e-commerce and retail packages per month. It has also formed a partnership with BiTA, or the Blockchain in Trucking Alliance. This organization formed to create common standards using blockchain applications in the freight industry. BiTA members: include Bridgestone, UPS, FedEx, Coyote, C.H. Robinson and others.
The ICO price for SHIP tokens was $0.32 USD and the hard cap of $30 million USD was raised easily during the pre-sale, causing the cancellation of the public sale. There will be a total supply of 500 million SHIP tokens. According to a recent ShipChain Telegram announcement on Monday, March 5, 2018, the private pre-sale token distribution will begin in a few days and airdrop tokens will be distributed in a few weeks. Due to the hype surrounding this ICO, large social media presence and investors unable to participate in the public sale, demand is expected to be high once the SHIP token is added to exchanges. Clearly, there are numerous reasons to be bullish on ShipChain.

Deborah Jane Leng Burgess is a model and actress, and Roger met her on the set of his side band The Cross' video-clip "Cowboys and Indians" (1987). She next appeared as the masked lady in Queen’s “Breakthru”. Debbie started her modeling under the artistic name of Debbie Du-Bell in 1982, and represented the UK in the 1986 edition of Supermodel of the World. She created a sensation in 1987 when she became the iconic Cadbury's Flake girl in a TV commercial and got axed three years later for being "too sexy".
Roger and Debbie’s relationship was immediately object of interest for tabloids, especially since he married his previous girlfriend Dominique in 1988 to secure their two children and the media didn't understand their relationship was actually over, and Roger he soon moved in a new mansion with Debbie. Another object of scandal was the alleged diffusion of a sex tape between the two, and the media never failed to point out their age difference of 14 years. The drummer of a world famous band and a beautiful supermodel couldn’t stay out of the spotlight, after all...
However, besides often appearing together at events, concerts and parties, looking dashing and rich, what happened privately in their lives seems to remain very private. (short to say I’m not really finding much out there besides gossip articles mentioned above). Of course, Debbie is a beautiful woman and always looks friendly and smiling around her family, often having fun with Roger, but there's not much additional information about her personality.
They had Rufus, Tigerlily and Lola together and it appears that Debbie has stayed a lot by Roger’s side after Freddie’s death. “Freddie Mercury was still alive when Rufus came along in 1991 and those two got on famously. Mind you, Fred was always fabulous with kids — he was the one who came up with Rufus’s middle name: Tiger.” They split in around 2004, but they still have a close relationship nowadays and Debbie introduced Tigerlily and Lola to the modeling world, following her steps, while Rufus is drummer of The Darkness, much like Roger.
“Although Rufus’s mum [Deborah Leng] and I were together for about 15 years, we never did get married. I also had Felix and Rory Eleanor from a previous relationship [with Dominique Beyrand], but in that situation, we did eventually tie the knot. I guess I wanted to make sure Felix and Rory were looked after financially. “I’ll admit my life back then was, well… let’s say it was complicated. It was a strange time for all of us. Wouldn’t it be great if relationships were simple and easy? Sadly, breaking up with people who mean a lot to you is never simple or easy. The important thing for me has always been that the kids support each other and feel like brothers and sisters. There’s not some from “this relationship” and some from “that relationship”; they are a gang of five.” (Roger in 2014)
“Mum and Dad never actually got married, but their separation was still pretty rough. There was a bit of shouting for a while and a few headlines, but, y’know what: shit happens. People split up. Both of them have gone off and done their own thing, and they’ve got a much better relationship these days.” (Rufus in 2014)

Brian and Chrissie

Christine was born in Leeds circa 1950 and she was student from the Maria Assumpta Teacher Training College, in Kensington (London) (like Veronica Deacon)
In 1968 Chrissie’s flatmate, Josephine “Jo” Morris, was dating medical student Roger Taylor, who played drums in a band called “Smile” and run a stall in Kensington market selling second hand clothes with a friend who called himself Freddie Mercury. When Jo took Chrissie along to one of “Smile”’s gigs at Imperial College she was introduced to Roger’s friend and bandmate Brian May, who played the guitar.
Theirs became a stable relationship and they soon moved in together in a small apartment with a cat, Squeaky. Bran recalled in 2010: "It was probably the happiest time of my life. I was living with my future wife in a bedsit about the size of this table. We lived on cod in a bag, we had one gas ring, we had no problems in life." Brian was busy with the band, sometimes with Chrissie and sometimes without, but Brian's strict father loomed on them: “When Queen was taking off, we didn’t speak (Brian and Harold) for nearly two years. He also hated the fact that I was living with a woman, who turned out to be my first wife, Chrissie. He thought it was immoral, I couldn’t understand it.” The second disapproved thing was the choice of music instead of astronomy. And so, after around seven years of relationship, Brian and Chrissie got married to please Harold May, soon welcoming baby Jimmy in 1978.
Like with Dominique, we have plenty of photos of Brian and Chrissie on tour and at parties. She followed him pretty often, even with children, and they seemed inseparable whenever she was there. Chrissie is much shorter than Brian, with full curves and very long straight hair. Despite touring with Queen, though, she's a very private person, we don't know much about her personality and Brian tried to protect his family's privacy as much as possible.
However, the straining routine began causing strains in their marriage as well. Years later, Brian recalled: "It’s very hard to adapt back to normal life. I was married and I had kids and the marriage survived the whole touring life really well. It was only when I stopped touring that things fell apart, because we couldn’t adapt to living ‘a normal life’."
In 1986 Brian fell in love with actress Anita Dobson, and not even the birth of his and Chrissie's last child Emily in 1987 could save the marriage. They divorced in 1988 and Chrissie has kept a retired, very private life since then.

Roger and Sarina

Last but not least, here are some info about Roger and Sarina!
Sarina Rose Potgieter was born in South Africa and at the age of 12 moved to Johannesburg in order to attend the National School of the Arts where she was accepted into their ballet program. She moved into the Drama program for the final two years of her schooling. Upon leaving the arts school, Sarina turned her hand to studying Make Up Artistry and Theatre Crafts at The Tshwane University Of Technology in Pretoria. She specialized in Prosthetics and special effects, prop making and set design. She then went on to dance professionally for many years in a number of theatrical productions worldwide.
In 2013 Sarina successfully moved into the realm of film, both as an actress and producer, and she's now active promoter of her and Roger's clothing brand "Taylored of London".
Roger met her in 2004 and they married on October 3rd 2010 at their home in Surrey, after a six year long stable relationship: "The 36-year-old bride wore a purple wedding dress and the celebrations had a black and red theme as the pair staged an unusual ceremony at their home in Surrey last Saturday. Says a friend: 'The whole event was very low-key but incredible fun and light-hearted. All they wanted was a really big knees-up with their pals rather than a formal white wedding. 'The reception was in a huge black and red marquee in their garden and all the waiters wore black. The tables were black and they even had black patent leather sofas outside. The theme was almost bondage.' A guest said: 'The music didn't stop before sunrise.'"
Sarina is a young and smart lady, often sharing her life on social media and actively promoting Roger's brand and Queen's activities, definitely bringing a spark of youth into Roger. While Roger got his first tattoo with Debbie, Sarina is also a huge fan of tattoos and both had their collection of tats growing during the years, thanks to the artist Manuela Gray.
She says, "Roger and I have an amazing relationship. We both understand that in order to be happy together, we need to allow each other the space and environment to constantly grow as human beings and to remain true to our individual paths.
"We have a lot of fun together. Roger is extremely supportive of everything I do, as I am of him, and we manage to spend a lot of quality time together in between work schedules." (Sarina at Pretoria News, 2017)

Brian first met soap star Anita at a movie premiere in Beverly Hills in 1986, she was widely known as Angie from Eastenders and she was friend with Freddie Mercury, who introduced her to Brian and he invited her out to one of Queen’s performances. Their friendship soon blossomed and quickly turned into love and conflicting feelings, trying to escape scandals as they grew closer and Brian grew apart from his wife Chrissie. "I was the scarlet woman. I'm not proud of it." (Anita in 2013) During the growth of their relationship, Brian and Anita had worked together on her album Talking Of Love (1988) and her following singles, while she and the relationship with her inspired many of Brian's songs, "Scandal" and "I want it All" being just two of them.
While they were head over heels for each other, their affair led also to many internal struggles within the two and Brian often recalls how the affair -close in time to his father's death and Freddie's illness, and under great pressure from the media- turned his life into hell and the trauma of the split from Chrissie still haunts him: "It was utter hell for three years. Sheer pain. To contemplate not waking up with your kids is unthinkable. Anyone who finds themselves in that position can never forgive themselves. I don’t know if I have still, really. But I know in my heart there was no other way." (2002)
The two split for a while in the late 90s when Brian went to therapy to deal with grief and depression, he also had a short affair with secretary Julie Glover, but Anita returned into his life like a storm and after a ultimatum from her they eventually they got married with a private ceremony on 18 November 2000. “She’s incredible. If I didn’t have Anita, all the therapy in the world wouldn’t sort me. If she wasn’t by my side now, I wouldn’t be in this state. She’s somehow part of me."
From Brianmay.com: "The bride wore a red outfit and Brian a grey linen suit with a red waistcoat and red buttonhole (and yes, he wore clogs!). Roger Taylor was best man, and Anita was given away by her brother in law Michael O'Niell. Brians children Jimmy, Louisa and Emily attended, along with Anita's Mum, her sister Gill and about 20 close friends (sadly John Deacon didn't attend)."
They're still attached at the hip and very much in love with each other, often reminding how their marriage is working well to nowadays despite many people (included Freddie!) believed it wouldn't have lasted. They vocally support each other's career, and Brian has also rekindled his relationship with his children, while Chrissie keeps a silent profile.
