RULES under the prompts!

Each day will be dedicated to a specific CANON pairing that involved Roger and Brian in a meaningful and official way in their real lives. This means no crack ships such as Queen x Queen, Queen x Roadie, Queen x OC, etc.*

💕 *Poly ships are allowed as long as they include at least two people from the canon ships (random examples Roger x Dominique x Crystal OT3, Brian x Anita x Roger x Debbie OT4, Brian x Anita x OC OT3 etc.)

The crickets are louder than the bombs, here.

My first of two fics for John’s birthday event organised by @deakysgurl is settled during the second World War.

Roger is in need of help and the only one who can shelter him and Dominique is his long time friend John Deacon, who retired far in the countryside with his big family three years before.

Prompts: "I always wanted a house in the country" and "Friends will be Friends".

Words: 2369

It's been a long while I wanted to write an AU like this and even if maybe I'm not 100% satisfied with the result I'm still happy I managed to write it. I don't plan to write more in this AU at the moment but it's pretty clear in my mind so if you have questions feel free to ask 🥰 And please leave some feedback here or (specially) on AO3! Thanks!

Currently, I've got several in various states of completion, including:

An Elton John & Freddie friendship ficlet

A multi-chapter fic based on an early 19th century gay coming-of-age novel

A secret crossover fic ;)

A Jimercury smut

and a Freddie introspective fic with platonic, bff Froger.

Usually I decide which ones to work on based on how I feel at the moment and which are calling me at the time. But yes it's always a huge list, some of which I started MONTHS ago and have only added tiny bits to over time.

This is a masterpiece.

Don’t be turned off by the cuckold trope, if that’s not your jam. Really, read it anyway. That’s so much nuance to this writing that you might have to read passages twice or three times just to appreciate the subtle genius of the prose.

The characters are rounded. Although we see much of the story through Roger’s POV, you’d be hard-pressed to find a more in depth and thoughtful, humanizing look into Dominique’s character.

This isn’t just steamy sex scenes for the thrill of it, although there are definitely steamy parts. This delves into complex and human examples of sexuality and how two people in a relationship navigate each other’s desire.

You might come for the kink, but you’ll leave absolutely stunned by this author’s talent.

Eeeek how long has it been? 😭🥺 I’m sorry, had really big blocks one after the other and struggled to find the right ideas and inspirations for this chapter, but finally here it is! 14) Do you have a WIP you've abandoned or will never finish? Why is that so? Yeah, I don't have lots of unfinished WIP honestly but one I'll surely never finish is actually one of the first Queen fics I wrote (the first, probably), the main character was a bassist OC who happens to meet John on the Tube and become friend with him. He gets to be a bit of a mentor and bass teacher and she helps him opening his eyes about the troubles in his life and marriage. Sadly it wasn't really going anywhere, the plot was nonexistent and I had some friends who knew about the story who started shipping the OC with John which was something I didn't want to happen, I eventually decided to abandon it.

15) What are your writing strengths? I don't know really. Probably the fact that I'm able to write in a language that's not my native one is already a strength 🤔😊 I also think I'm good with trying to imagine situations and related feelings that I've never directly felt or lived on my skin.

H. Do you read pairings you don't write? Sometimes I do! Mostly it happens if Johnica is among the tagged ships but it's in the background, because my AO3 is set on the John/Veronica tag. I've read a few Maylor and Froger stories that I really liked even if the ships aren't really my cup of tea, prompted by the minor presence of John with Veronica in the background hahah - I also read Jimercury and Rogerique, which I write but not as much as johnica, and as crack ship I enjoy reading Dealor from time to time.

Queen Witches x Monsters AU - masterlist

Hi everyone! I thought of doing a lil masterlist only for my Witches x Monsters AU as in my main masterlist the only link is to the fic on AO3 but I wanted to keep better track of it. I'll link this post in my masterlist asap.

What's this AU? It was born as a Halloween AU and features canon Queen couples living together in a witchy cottage, as the title suggests.

Why "Witches x Monsters"? In this AU there are 4 Witches (Dominique, Veronica, Chrissie and Freddie) and 4 "monsters" (Roger and John are Werewolves, Brian is a Vampire and Jim is a mysterious Crature of the Woods). The pairings are all between a Witch and a Monster 😊

What's the rating? This is teen rated, there is no horror and no smut, but some sexy times are mentioned (all sfw) as well as some blood (not gore), disability, depression and anxiety. Despite all of this, the overall tone is fluffy and wholesome, they love to help each other. 💕

Ch.15: “Tomorrow will bring love in the shape of things”

Our adventurers have finally escaped from the haunted forest of Nimvanh and found shelter in a doctor's cottage, but Veronica has lost her senses and, apparently, also her powers. The forest left its signs on all of them, but Spike's home seems cozy and welcoming, and they all deserve a good rest before reprising their trip.

Or “Roger writes a letter, Ronnie feels guilty, John is worried and Bri and Freddie bring out their musician side!” hahah ok, this chapter is basically the boys (and girl) chilling at Spike's while recovering from the forest, but also a good time for some group bonding and inner-growth. I actually really loved writing it, specially the group scenes! I hope you'll like this chapter and forgive me if it's long af! *sweats* As always please let me know your thoughts about the chapter!
