I saw this panel again and what clicked was that Garaki has definitely done something worse to Touya than just giving him skin grafts. Similar to how nomus are created with dead people dabi has body parts from dead children at the orphanage he later wakes up at. It's being hinted that he went through atleast some part of the nomu procedure too.
Sooo I'm thinking what if? The fact that he has those dead body parts makes him crazier? Unlike nomus who's minds are gone his mind is still his own but that knowledge makes him see himself as a walking corpse even more? He isn't completely Touya anymore. Sort of like not seeing your body as your own anymore. And he's 16 at the time mentally only 13 since he's been in a coma for 3 years. He tries going back home convincing himself this isn't true but seeing his own altar probably confirms that he's dead. I AM UNWELL.
But but but this isn't completely an angst post. The hope of seeing his family again stopped him from becoming a nomu. Thinking they didn't love him made him suicidal. The former is something positive atleast. They said the body would disintegrate in a few months but he's 24 and still alive LOL the spite. It gives me some hope about his story atleast.

Hello.
I want to ask you about Touya's hair. At first it was fluffy then it changed to spiky, how?
Also when Endeavor imagined future Touya crossing the bridge he imagined him with red fluffy hair. And when Touya himself imagined an alternative future (ch 388) he imagined it fluffy.
I find it weird that he didn't imagine himself with spiky hair, like the spiky hair isn't usual for him.
Why Horikoshi drew future Touya with a fluffy hair in the latest chapter instead of the spiky one???

Touya had fluffy hair until Sekoto peak. First red then changed into white.
His hair burnt off completely at Sekoto peak and during his coma it grew back (or changed due to the medical procedures Ujiko did on him) to spiky.
And as he transformed into Dabi it became even spikier.
Now, knowing that Touya has ice inside him - the interesting thing is that Shouto also gets spikes when he uses hot and cold together, so the way Touya's hair grew back spiky after Sekoto peak could be a sign that his inner ice protected him already back then.
As for the different visions:
Endeavor imagines him with red fluffy hair because that vision is connected to his original hopes for Touya - when he thought he could surpass All Might - before his hair changed.
As for the Ch 388 vision - I think that's "Sekoto peak" Touya - before he got burnt. It's a vision of Endeavor and his family coming to see what he can do and be proud of him.

I see people saying Touya’s body is currently too far gone for him to survive but if Touya can survive this
by being picked up by a bunch of horrible experimental doctors in a hidden hospital/kindergarten, that did not have his best interest whatsoever
(And I’m just speculating on what future events may occur) But I can only imagine how much better they could take care of his body now, and now that he actually has someone who cares for him to be there with him

What his jeans does dabi have with AFO? There’s nothing there besides Dabi was part of the LOV and AFO was in the background. Like there’s nothing personal there for anyone to have any interest in seeing dabi do anything towards AFO
Read chapter 350. Then read the traitor reveal chapters and pay attention to how the conversation between AFO and Toya bookends the reveal (335 and 337). In other words, the story of how AFO took advantage of a family and destroyed them is framed by AFO & Toya. Finally, notice that AFO insults Toya, calling him by his real first name, saying Toya is friendless, and referring to him as a fizzled lighter to be tossed aside. AFO is going directly for Toya’s biggest weakness to manipulate him and prevent him from running off on his own.
