You'd overheard Highbottom's taunts once. Kept it to yourself, but made the occasional low blow of your own when he pissed you off. His eyes shone in an angry defiance. You stood your ground.

You smiled.

When you spoke the words, he visibly relaxed, but a frown etched across his face when you wrapped your hand back around his cock, but didn’t move it. He looked down, then back at you.
“What?” You blinked innocently.
“You’re not… please. Don’t be fucking mean.” He repeated pathetically.
“I don’t know, Coryo. My hand’s getting a little tired.”

His blue eyes bored into yours, but you weren’t falling for his tricks. Your free hand gently turned his chin to you, and you moved in, soft kisses peppering his jaw.

“Move.” you commanded, voice no louder than a whisper, but harsh.
He obliged. Slowly, at first, shame all too clear on his face, but he noticed the look on your face when you glanced down to see his hips rocking up, fucking into your fist under his pants, and lost himself a little more.

Thread of odd connections between Ikora, Elsie and Eris
I was scrolling through concept art when I noticed that, despite not being so in-game, The Stranger's rifle is Branded as a Cassoid weapon. This wouldn't mean much, bungie tends to use decals at random, except-
The curse of osiris variant, The Machina Dei 4, is also branded with a slightly altered version of the Cassoid logo, which I think proves that it has been upgraded with components from the foundry.
But let's put a pin on that and talk about another Cassoid weapon, The Invective shotgun, Ikora's signature weapon. The Invective has an ornament called Iconoclast, a word which here means "Destroyer of images used in religious worship." This nomenclature is very similar to-
The Vex Mythoclast, a weapon which, thanks to its sister weapon, The Worldline Zero (which coincidentally also has a prophecy variant), we know to be made by Elsie Bray. Canonically, we earn the Mythoclast as part of-
the "Not forged in light" quest, which ends with Elsie gifting us the No time to explain. A weapon which eventually ends back up in her hands and she gifts to us again earlier in the timeline as-
The stranger's rifle, which hangs around until it becomes the Machina Dei 4 (later Adhortative). And the prophecy attached to the Machina Dei 4 desribes Eris Morn and the events of Shadowkeep, when Eris discovers stasis and starts using the darkness.

Now, it's generally accepted that No time to explain (and all it's variants by proxy) was created at some future point in a distant timeline, this is incorrect. Ghost specifically points out that "parts" of it shouldn't exist, because the rifle itself is a common suros frame.
Going back to The Invective, you're probably more familiar with its legendary sister, The Comedian, and its D2 counterpart, Deadpan Delivery. The Comedian's flavor text reads "A. A ha. A ha ha ha. A ha ha ha ha ha ha ha" In D1 the joke wasn't really clear, but with the addition of a lore tab in D2, the joke has become the vanguard's falling victim to a hive god's deceit. Now, let's take a little trip to The dark future.
In The dark future, Beyond light never happened, Eramis was allowed to grow her armies and master stasis, which led to a massive attack on the city by Cabal remnants, Savathûn, and the glorious House Salvation, all masterminded by Eris Morn, who up to that point was believed to be an ally, but had been corrupted by stasis and the darkness.
Coming back to our timeline, let's look at differences between our case exotics and their variants. Elsie's rifle has undergone many more modifications than Invective. Matter of fact, Invective has barely undergone any changes from its default. It's painted red, AND It has tape wrapped the handle and the grip, just like No time to explain. (I know I'm talking about grip tape right now but please don't go, it gets better, I promise)
It's a weak link, many weapons have grip tape, but I think many of these small details add up and point to The Iconoclast being one of Elsie's gifts. Let's review the similarities between Iconoclast and other gifts from Elsie.
>It's sourced from one of the city foundries and later received Cassoid upgrades (Invective and it's variants are nadir products)
>It has grip tape where the original does not.
>Mythoclast and Iconoclast are very similar terms and could point to a connection.
>It has a perpetual ammo function, like No time to explain and The Mythoclast.
But we should also look at Iconoclast within it's own context. Invective being her weapon, what does it mean for Ikora? She's never been been known to combat or really oppose any sort of religion, at least that I can find. And let's make it clear, the gun is not the Iconoclast. Just like the Mythoclast is not The Mythoclast. The weapons, in this case, are named for the wielder. You kill Atheon and so you become the Mythoclast, the gun is more of symbol. So, what religious figure is Ikora supposed to kill in order to become the Iconoclast?
Well, just this season, the hive have come out with a brand spanking new god, one very close to Ikora. Now I don't think Ikora is going to kill Eris. Eris would need to do something completely heinous for her to even consider that. Like, idk, bombarding the last city with House Salvation and the shadow legion... i. e., what happens in the dark timeline.
Look, I really don't believe Eris is going to turn evil all the sudden, that would be character assasination of the highest magnitude. But from Ikora's point of view? She has a supposed time traveller yelling at her that she's letting everything go sideways.
So my theory is that Elsie took Ikora's Invective from some other failed timeline (possibly the one where they smooch) and gave it to Ikora as the Iconoclast, along with the idea that alternate Ikora ruined everything because she failed to act and put Eris down when she could.
And this is where Deadpan Delivery comes in. You see, Ikora doesn't use invective anymore, and she doesn't use the Comedian. She exclusively wields Deadpan Delivery. Now, I know this was probably just the animators being faithful to her character, seeing how she prefers shotguns-
But the retroactive additions to the Comedian's lore, outside my crazed theories, implies a statement from Ikora. The Comedian's joke is the vanguard falling victim to a hive god's deceit, and in the dark timeline that god, the Savathûn figure, is Eris morn. And so-
By maining Deadpan delivery Ikora is subtextually saying "It's not funny. I'm not laughing. I don't subscribe to the narrative put forward by the comedian or Elsie. I trust Eris". And by rejecting the Comedian she's additionally disavowing it's older sister, The Invective, which is a symbol of the gung ho attitude which defined her in her youth. And wether my Iconoclast theory is correct or not, we can definitively say: Ikora is against what it represents , she is a guardian, and she will make a new fate no matter what.

literally the only thing season 11 is good for is the angsty zane fics u can write about it.......
i need to write a post s11 zane fic where he for no particular reason reverts to being the ice emperor and freezes his whole room with corrupted ice and then [insert character you ship zane with] has to go talk to him like hes a stupid wild animal until he turns back to normal and then has a mebtal breakdown and start angsting about how sad and lonely and miserable he was in the never realm (this is a rewrite au where vex doesnt exist because vex sucks and has zero potential to be an interesting character) and then [character] says "its ok none of it was your fault it was just the scroll of forbidden spinjitzu doing all that evil stuff" and then they stqrt kissing because there is nothing interesting about season 11 except using it as a tool for shipping scenarios

Other Emperors AU — Ninjago
So. The beloved Ice Emperor. The corrupting potential of the Staff of Forbidden Spinjitzu + Amnesia + Vex.
Now what if the Ice Emperor came in other flavours?
That’s right, introducing the Other Emperors AU, a collection of different “What ifs” for if other people had been zapped with the staff by Aspheera!
Different Versions:
Earth Emperor / King of the Underworld = Cole
Lightning Emperor / Thunder God / Lightning Striker = Jay
Fire Emperor / Western Wildfire / Fire Maker = Kai
Energy Emperor / Lord of Energy / Luh-Lord = Lloyd
Water Empress / Commander of the Sea / Wrath of the Waves = Nya
Empress of Technology / Automated Empress / Overseer / The Technodrome = Pixal
Creation Emperor / Second Spinjitzu Master / The Creator = Wu
Not all of them are fleshed out (honestly most just have… one or two minor ideas, but I’ll gladly bounce ideas back and forth with people in Reblogs, comments, and/or asks!), but here’s what I’ve got—
Earth Emperor / King of the Underworld
- Got zapped into the Neverrealm instead and lost his memories from a concussion in the fight
- Vex finds him and the staff and convinces him to take it
- He raises/sinks the Earth to create a stone dome over the realm and make it a cavern of tunnels; some call him the King of the Underworld (Hades vibes) for it and he hates it even if he can’t remember why (haha forgotten Skulkin memories)
- Master of the Mountain mixed with ancient mythology vibes
- His hair grows out and becomes partially lava because come on that look just is so cool on him ; his armour is also formed of obsidian/onyx and crystals
- Difficult to anger (a very patient emperor that listens to his people whenever Vex doesn’t interfere) but if you do (usually on Vex’s manipulation) OH BOY you’re in for it now
- Built a dangerous labyrinth King-Minos-style complete with a stone minotaur in the centre that he sends prisoners/people Vex tricks him into thinking are enemies
- Is very fascinated by Kai’s fire (and Jay’s lightning) because the only light source in the caverns are glowing crystals formed from his powers or special regulated flint/coal-based fires
- He keeps Kai with him when the Ninja arrive and banish the rest to the labyrinth to “prove themselves” on Vex’s manipulation (possibly specifically dropping Jay in the minotaur room as a sacrifice because Jay made a menace of himself in the throne room)
- The Ninja make it through the traps because they’re all kinda Cole-themed (like one involves the Triple Tiger Sashay) and arrive back at the throne room after defeating the stone minotaur, much to Cole/Vex’s astonishment/ire respectively

- Lost his powers to Aspheera, battled her with the second staff, and got his butt yeeted to the Never Realm- that’s rough, buddy
- Gets his well-deserved focus season
- He really means well and just wants to keep his people safe, but unfortunately it comes across as overly possessive and tyrannical
- Older brothers so hard that he comes across as evil/possessive and aggressive when he’s trying to be caring and protective
- Don’t have much for him because the fandom already has insanely cool Fire Emperor AUs
Energy Emperor / Lord of Energy / Luh-Lord
- So many Lord Garmadon parallels
- ONI-DRAGON LLOYD ONI-DRAGON LLOYD
- Also a surprising amount of Morro parallels about making his own destiny
- So, so traumatized and got corrupted simply for wanting to take his fate into his own hands for once
- Punts Vex out of the castle because he’s had enough of people telling him what to do
- Kinda goes back to S1 Lloyd because this kid just wants his childhood back
- Goes from “scary emperor who’s going to execute you” to “excited little kid” the second he sees his siblings
- Taking the staff back hurts because Lloyd isn’t mad, he’s just super sad and confused and pleads with them not to do it
Water Empress / Commander of the Sea / Wrath of the Waves
- The Never Realm just became the Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
- All the ice and snow melts into an ocean with islands
- Nya builds a big ol’ palace that’s both above and below the water’s surface
- Seabound parallels in terms of architecture (lots of accidental Wojira foreshadowing)
- So. Much. Rage. You anger Nya, you’re done for.
- The staff + her element amplified the ocean’s whispers and she’s kinda merged with the sea but not fully, her memories are a bit scattered
- Was going to take on Vex as an advisor because he convinced her she knew him before her memories got lost/scattered, but then her memories associate him with Krux, and she kicks him onto a lone island
- Her brothers have to face the ocean to get to her. They hate it, but they do it anyway
Empress of Technology / Automated Empress / Overseer / The Technodrome
- Pixal gets to sacrifice herself for Zane
- While the staff doesn’t amplify powers for her, she still gets boosted strength, speed, smarts, etc., her processor running at 300x proficiency
- Is able to get the mech up and running— she DID build it, after all
- Still loses her memories from Vex’s interference, somewhat reverts to S3 Pixal
- Makes the entire realm “efficient” and rapidly revolutionizes technology
- Easily one of the scariest rulers because of how good she is at it
- Took Vex on as an Advisor because of his knowledge of the realm, then fired him once she was done.
“But you— you cannot FIRE me! I am your loyal, most trusted advisor—”

- It’s very difficult to dismantle her empire
Creation Emperor / Second Spinjitzu Master / The Creator
- Aspheera blasts her intended target
- Wu is sent to the Never Realm with the other staff
- The Ninja are devastated because they just lost their Sensei AGAIN just after getting him back
- Wu refuses to use the staff at first but then… well, he starts getting desperate to return. He misses his family. And his essence— creation— could be used to help the people of this realm. So he uses it once or twice, sparingly, to help the villages, to help travellers— and slowly gets more and more addicted. Why does this realm hurt the people in it? If his essence is one of creation, couldn’t he use it to… reform this realm into something more peaceful? More habitable? Remake it in his own image? Correct all the mistakes he’s made, start again, start better—
- FSM and Pilots-S2 Garmadon parallels
- His students manage to get into the Never Realm only to find it “prosperous” and “thriving”
- Bonus if there are copies of them, but the way Wu sees them— uncanny valley alert
- EXTRA bonus if there’s a fake Morro that’s based on how he was as a student / if he’d lived , and a fake Garmadon cured of venom and evil
- Breaking their Sensei out of this illusion of a perfect world really hurts
- Wu is traumatized by all his mistakes and they get acknowledged in this AU whether he wants them to be or not <3

Had a question that you'd probably know the answer to, when "the darkness" told everyone's least favorite bajillionare (Clovis) to go to Europa, was that actually some facet of the darkness reflecting his consciousness or whatever, or was that the witness telling him to get his ass over there? If the latter, what was it trying to accomplish?
Also if it's not too much trouble could you cover the same question for other instances of "the darkness" talking to people? While writing this Eramis popped into my head, but I'm sure there are other occasions in like the black garden or something

It was the Witness! We know now that the Darkness as a whole doesn't really have any specific agenda: it's simply a part of the universe, a paracausal power that deals with memory, history, emotions and so on. It can be used in many ways and the Witness uses it in this specific way as a negative force we've most closely associated with Darkness until now.
The Witness spoke to him through the anomaly that was found on the Moon by the K1 research team in the Golden Age. The anomaly was a black sphere discovered in the lunar tunnels (and we still don't know how it got there, possibly with the Hive; there's some indication that the Hive were already on the Moon towards the end of the Golden Age). The sphere was described as an antenna that was capable of communicating with something across the universe.
Clovis specifically had Braytech seize the anomaly and build a containment for it (you can see it on the Crucible map, Anomaly); presumably, this is also when he received the communication from it. He says the following about it:
The lunar artifact promised me a solution to the
indifference of the cosmos. It told me I was unlike all others—and, damn false modesty, damn vanity, I am different! Not for my present qualities, but for my future influence. I shine with noon's light, reflected back through time to this age of dawn.
Essentially, the Witness did what it always does. It picks someone who can be easily manipulated and corrupted, and then tries its best to get them to follow its philosophy and potentialy join it as a disciple. Clovis was an easy target as he already perceived himself as better than everyone else and the only one worthy of existence. You can also see in this quote how uncannily his perspective aligns with the Witness: "solution to the indifference of the cosmos." Both the Witness and Clovis wanted something more; they could not believe that the universe is random, indifferent and meaningless. The universe had to lead somewhere and it had to lead them specifically.
Clovis wanted to transcend humanity and create a "better" version of humanity which the Witness promised he would be able to do with Darkness, as well as with the help of the Vex. He was led to Europa to complete this and create the Exos. Exos, in turn, have a direct line to Darkness, something that would've surely benefitted the Witness in the long run if Clovis' work reached its conclusion: replace the imperfect humanity with Exos who are susceptible to corruption and control, maybe even merging with the Witness.
This is interesting in retrospect now that we've had Veil Logs where it was revealed that the Veil had an extremely adverse effects on the Exos, essentially rendering them useless vessels. Maya Sundaresh was also able to use them to fabricate consciousness into an Exo vessel, an act that was directly compared to what the Witness did to its own species. Had the Witness not lost the Veil, it could've probably used Clovis' work on Exos to potentially in some way wipe out, erase or control all of humanity. Who knows what the end goal was! It was all halted by the Collapse and the Veil being stolen away.
All other instances of "Darkness" talking are the Witness as well. As you mentioned, Eramis was also told to go to Europa by it. Before her, obviously, we have to remember Oryx and the Hive siblings who were also manipulated by the Witness without knowing. And even before them there was Rhulk. Already mentioned the K1 team as well, and in current time, it spoke to us again through Unveiling and the last two pages of Inspiral. Really, any time "Darkness" talks, it's the Witness trying to manipulate people. Darkness itself is a neutral force, but the Witness convinced pretty much everyone in the universe that the Darkness has a specific goal and it, and only it, the Witness, can help you reach that goal. Those that were using Darkness in different ways were subjugated and eradicated.

Weather Warlock
Jay got banished scroll in possession
He fixed the mech and explored the Never Realm
fell into a similar "funk" as when he was stuck in the First Realm
Vex convinced Jay to join him, they became con buddies
They would sell lightning rods, Jay would make sure that people needed them
Jay held onto the staff and slowly his morals got corrupted by it
The emperor had Jay and Vex captured because of their crimes(theft, widespread panic, and eventually manslaughter) but Jay was having none of it, so he got rid of the emperor and Vex took the throne
No one dares to challenge Vex because he has what most believe to be the very spirit of the sky on his side
Jay electrified Vex with magic juiced up lightning That made him more or less imortal
Lady Phoenix
Nya got banished scroll in possession
She tried to fix the mech, but had no power source so she tried to look for help finding Vex
He tricked her into believing that the emperor was a wicked man, so that she would fight him
After she won Vex claimed that she should rule, she became the Lady Phoenix
The scroll corrupts her sense of self, making her extremely stubborn and unwilling to let others tell her what to do or who to be
She is actually a good ruler, the people's opinions on her are generally positive
She throws Vex in prison because he dared to tell her what to do
Water fills the castle, think wall waterfalls, and there is a moat that has rivers that break off and spread all over the land, the rivers never freeze or slow
Her water boosted by the scroll has healing abilities and people exposed to it don't age, there is water in the prison
Tapestries with phoenix imagery, red and blue are her empire's colors with gold
She wears something similar to her Samurai X armour
Red Shogun
Kai got banished scroll in possession
He tries to look for help while staying close to the mech, just in case the others can track it
Vex finds him barely surviving all alone
He tricked Kai into believing that the emperor of the realm was evil, so he fought him
Kai knowing that he has to win(Vex made certain to make the emperor sound like a horrible person), is able to unlock his powers
Although he thinks he is only able to use his powers with the scroll, so he keeps a hold on it
Kai becomes the Red Shogun because someone needs to prevent the empire falling into chaos
The staff makes him rather power hungry, which in turn makes him paranoid
Vex can easily trick Kai into attacking anyone he wants
He has guards with him at most all times and never leaves the palace
With him in charge the section on the Never Realm we see became a mostly burnt desert wasteland
His fire lights torches that fill the castle, his fire gives off comforting warmth and grants a sort of immortality when in its presence
He wears intricate gold coated armour that he made himself, he is good at making fancy things like when he remade the Golden Weapons
The Volcano
Cole got banished scroll in possession
He stays near the mech knowing that it has a tracker and is therefore more likely to be found than if he left
Vex finds him and lies about the emperor being a terrible person
Cole gave the scroll to Vex, to try and avoid getting corrupted
During the fight, of Cole vs. the emperor and his army, Vex throws the scroll to Cole because he wasn't winning without it
Cole "wins" by accidentally creating an earthquake bigger than he ever has, it wreaks the castle and splits open the ground causing Cole to fall
Cole is stuck and keeps trying to get out, but it's just making him panic, so he stays stuck
Due to his panicked attempts of escape, more earthquakes happened and a mountain formed where the castle once was, which then became a volcano(the lava doesn't hurt Cole)
Now trapped with the scroll in hand, he becomes more and more corrupted, just wallowing in misery and becomes barely even conscious for most of his time in the Never Realm
Vex, always the opportunist, learned that strange crystals appeared near the volcano that had certain properties(think of the promised properties of gemstones were real) and uses them to practically become immortal
The terrain changes a lot, Vex uses this to his advantage by becoming a leader because he has lived as a nomad for awhile and people who's homes were destroyed didn't know how to survive as nomads
The Great Dragon
Lloyd got banished scroll in possession
He tried to find help immediately and ran into Vex
Vex was able to convince him with almost no effort
When Lloyd fought the emperor he sent a shockwave that took out everyone there, including Vex
He became power hungry and full of rage real fast, all those years of unprocessed trauma catching up to him, and he loses his mind
He gains the title of "The Great Dragon" for being a powerful out of control monster
The scroll got caught in his monster hair after he couldn't just hold onto it normally
His more Dragon and Oni features come to light, he looks a bit like his dad in his warlord phase and devolves into a dragon/oni looking creature
Mainly black with green and purple accents

Splintered Ice
Oneshot – (FFN) (AO3)
Summary:
For all intents and purposes, the Ice Emperor is dead. However, his ghost remains, in icy joints and frosted eyes. How can Zane trust himself not to become him again? How can he heal? How could anyone begin to forgive him?
Ice cracks. It splinters. It shatters. Zane shivered; every movement, punctuated by the sound of fractures. What was it like to move freely- to not be frozen to his seat? To feel human, instead of frozen? To feel alive…
Crack, crack, crack, snap. The cold anthem of his existence. An orchestra of fractured glass. Horrible, beautiful.
Everything was white and gray. What did color look like, again? His mind was sluggish. No matter where he looked, the world was hidden by a panel of frosted glass, shielded from his tyranny. Maybe it was better that way.
The door creaked open, and Zane's frosted eyes slowly panned to it. He started, edging away as Pixal approached him with a plate of hot food and a sympathetic smile. Whatever she was saying was lost to his ears; he backed away, trying to tell her to flee. What if she froze? What if there was no way for Kai to thaw her? What if he controlled her?
No sound escaped his throat; only the sound of cracking ice. Pixal smiled gently and nodded; she gave him space but stayed in the room. How foolish. Zane shivered violently, snowflakes falling from his hair. Why wouldn't she leave? Didn't she value her safety?
Logically, Zane already knew the answer. She was a nindroid, like him. She believed he wasn't a threat. But what if he was? What if she was wrong?
Something clinked loudly on the ground; an icicle, falling from his hand and joining the pile below.
Was it just Zane, or did it feel like the world was tilting off its axis? He leaned on his hands, trying to support himself as the world spun out of order. What was happening to him? The warmth of the sun streaming through the window felt far-away, glinting off his metal in a painful glare on the permafrost.
Pixal shielded her eyes, and Zane felt pure, unadulterated guilt. It swelled up in his stomach, hot and painful and unnatural. He hated it. How could he let this happen?
Zane hugged himself tightly, attention turning inward. Maybe he deserved this, as punishment for freezing the Never Realm and all its people. Because he believed Vex. Maybe he deserved this for so blindly thinking he could safely reboot that accursed mech. It- it was all his fault, anyway! If he hadn't dragged it into that cave, or hadn't tried to fix it, or had looked around before he interfaced with it, or had backed up his memories again, or had just thought twice about what Vex said, this wouldn't be happening!
He heard a muffled voice, murmuring comforting words, but he knew he didn't deserve them. Pixal was always so compassionate. Too compassionate for a slow, outdated droid like him. An old operating system in a new body- a relic, whose only value was his power source.
Was he always like this? Maybe the veil had just been lifted away, showing the true horror of his nature– his inhumanity, finally on display for an entire world to see. It was all he could do to afford himself the mercy of gratitude that it wasn't Ninjago that saw his awful nature. They used to know him as a beacon of justice, light, and truth. What was he now? A tyrant? His memory banks were empty of decades of information. What had he done for the past twenty years? Thirty, perhaps? Maybe even forty? All of it was blank, wiped from his mind by the very staff that corrupted him.
Where was that accursed staff, anyway? Had he truly broken it? Even now, he could remember the feeling of it in his grip, heavy and slick. It released hidden power– did it also release hidden intentions? Maybe he had always wanted to rule. He still felt its heavy weight in his hand, cold and cruel.
Zane shivered again, and more snowflakes fell into the food before him. The world had stopped spinning, leaving him feeling numb. The plate of food in front of him was no longer steaming, having its heat sapped by his ice.
The frost over his eyes was thicker, but he saw Pixal, edging closer to him. She put her hand on his, and Zane felt even more numb. She had to know he was going to freeze her, right? Did she really trust him enough not to be afraid? He frowned, unmotivated to correct her mistaken trust. She would see eventually. He remembered so little about her anymore, but he remembered that she would never budge when she chose to do something. She was grounded. He didn't remember being like that, even though he knew he was once. Didn't someone once tell him that time erodes memory and mind alike?
Maybe it would be okay to submit to her affections, just once. Surely it wouldn't hurt her, right? Slowly, he knitted his fingers together with hers, as small chunks of ice splintered from his joints. She held his hand tightly, and murmured in his ear. Zane shook his head, clearing the frozen fog for a moment. He needed to eat; as one of the perks of being Borg's most advanced machine, he ran almost like a person would. Including digestion.
Pixal raised a piece of warm bread to his mouth, and he ate without tasting. The warmth radiated through him, gone too quickly. He ate more, giving her a faint, frostbitten smile. She was too good for him. How did he deserve her care?
The food was gone before Zane realized. When was the last time he had eaten? Either way, the room felt less cold. Stable. Almost like home. With Pixal, anywhere felt like that, he was remembering. He felt safe.
He blinked slowly, watching the frost on his eyes break off as ice and fall. His ears were ringing- weird. Pixal took the dishes and kissed him on the cheek, but he was unable to look at her; as he tried to turn his neck, the sound of ice breaking heralded his effort. Instead, he focused on clearing his mind. A few deep breaths brought a sense of calm, and Zane relaxed a little. He hadn't hurt Pixal. She was safe from him.
A few more bits of ice fell out of his hair, looking akin to diamonds. Zane smiled for a fleeting moment. He would be okay, right?
He sighed. "Okay" was a relative term at best, after all. For now, for his own safety (and more importantly, for everyone else), he would stay isolated. He laid down, looking at the ceiling as tendrils of frost again invaded his vision. Just for now, he would wait…
It wasn't hiding, right?
No, it wasn't. It couldn't be. It was really self-preservation.
Zane smiled faintly, closing his eyes. It was a good idea to stay away, just for a little longer. Even if it meant locked, icy joints. Even if it meant an inability to sit up. Even if it meant disappearing. It was in everyone's best interests. It was a good thing.

hi guys
now that i have your attention im posting my stupid ass “thought up on a whim” headcanons here because that’s what ive been seeing the kids born yesterday (2009+) use tumblr for i think
- newton and the collector are buddies for they are stupid idiots who became evil for their stupid idiot decisions or behavior. they both also didn’t even build like half the traps and machines and shit themselves. newton just looked at his dad’s stuff and said “damn this is straight fire now how do i ruin it” and the collector kidnapped some guy to do everything for him
- there’s a brand of vacuums named and modeled after the negativitron
- if vex was given a chance to have a “redemption arc” he would just spend each day dedicating a completely random percentage of his day just him being himself, and the other percentage to him actually doing a decent job at not being himself. he will dedicate 76% of his tuesday to feeding seagulls a fat bag of chips and watch as they shit all over a crowd at a beach and the remaining 24% is spent on helping sackboy pick some apples off a tree and make some smoothies with them or something. never let anyone know his next move
also vex likes sour candy. he probably puts salt instead of sugar in his lemonade and drinks it completely without making a face
- scarlet and vex’s dynamic is that of like those shoulder angels and devils in cartoons except on sackboy’s shoulders. so they just constantly bitch at each other over what to do whenever sackboy’s stuck on something he has to do, with scarlet doing the best she can to just end the argument and get sackboy to try what she suggests while vex makes some stupidly snarky ass remarks to deliberately drag on the conversation just to (mostly) annoy scarlet
i kind of drew this but like, as a redraw of that one meme of the angel and devil looking horrified at a computer screen
- this isn’t really a headcanon idt but i kinda imagined vex’s attempts in “corrupting” sackboy as rare but also extremely unintentional positive interactions and possibly bring out more personality in sackboy, like he disguises his first few attempts as “harmless pranks” as he would know that sackboy wouldn’t cave in so easily to his harsher pranks that he has planned so he starts off with something small like getting him to throw a snowball at an unsuspecting sackperson from a hill on a particularly snowy day but the sackperson in question just laughs it off when they notice its sackboy so they just throw a snowball back and a snowball fight ensues between the two and possibly throughout all of loom and vex is watching this like “what have i just started”

A lot happened this Jimmy stream (Mar 16, 2023) a summary and rambling of notable important bits for those who can’t watch it
(Putting it under readmore because it’s a lot)
Prismarine plant #3 this one resembling the tree and so far being the one whose revealed the most info about themselves
After giving it the requested 64 buckets of water, they’ve revealed themselves as the fae. Water puddles and other flora growing around it, which you can see here (ignore the title I was live-blogging)
“Fae, almighty fae, you are the one person now- one thing, one whatever- that I respect in this world, there’s no one I respect in this world anymore except you” -jimmy.
He at first wanted to wish for respect, as well as either being tall again or getting his wings back but in the end let’s them decide
He’s letting them choose what it wishes to give him.
So the waiting begins. In the meantime let’s discuss these prismarine fae and what they could mean (now my knowledge of fae stuff is limited, but I will recite what I know of these plants)
So far we’ve seen three of them.
• “Plantea” as dubbed by Joey, located near Eversea, appears to represent a giant lotus. Joey came to sausage for help with the this and it requested they bring them turtles
• Then there’s the Mushroom like plant, located near glimmergrove, she and Lizzie discovered it and it requested that they fill its composters to the brim (about 20 or so)
•And the tree, located at jimmys, asking for 64 buckets of water
So far (Atleast on video) jimmys the only one whose gotten a thank you and a wish
Now moving on
Jimmy and the old sheriff (OS or OZ) decide to catch and jail the ones who killed him (sausage, gem, and fwhip, and then later Shelby) stumbling across sausage who called OS the real sheriff and referred to jimmy as the assistant sheriff. Ouch- To report a crime (the theft of his anvils, which spoiler alert are now blown up because of Lizzie)
They both failed, sausage got OS trapped instead, tried to blow sausage up, failed. After sausage fled jimmy takes OS to the fae tree before heading off with him to Shelby’s base to kill her, it doesn’t go well
They run across evil sausage while confronting Shelby (noting that she was “corrupted” seeing the shulk on her), and in attempt to kill her OS dies and jimmy dies while enderpearling away from evil sausages arrows. Not having a good day. Jimmy awakes up back in tumbletown, honestly sound pretty sad when he couldn’t find OS (I legit thought he was dead dead because he follows some npc rules) You can find the clip here,
Jimmy decides to ask the fae what to do and they gave him a riddle to find his gift
After following the instructions, he takes the gift- without solving the riddle first I should mention- thanking them and moving on while chat discussed the riddle (the gift was a new elytra)
Jimmy meets up with OS again in the nether, and upon returning to tumbletown start with a raid. Possibly started by the fae. And insert the longest raid ever. vexes, evokers, witches, ravangers, vindicators etc etc, they both died a lot. And then finally it’s over, both of them take a rest at the saloon,
Os leaving off with the message and “and with that the training arc was complete, this guy was ready to go take on the big wigs and the other towns. Nobody else would disrespect the sheriff ever again, and if they did, they’d pay for it” and logs out
Jimmy decides to end the stream, he has yet to solve the riddle, nor has chat
Anyways that’s my thoughts and all the important bits thank you
