I am reading the first hotfix update for baldur's gate 3 and they mention ending scenes and stuff from the third act. Excuse me who even reported those crashes and bugs? How are you so fast? 😭😭 meanwhile I'm chatting with people in the druid grove.

La Mode illustrée, no. 31, 5 août 1900, Paris. Robe-princesse ornée de broderie. Modèle de Mme Angenault, rue de Provence, 67. Ville de Paris / Bibliothèque Forney
Description de la gravure coloriée:
—
Dress in light dove gray cloth, trimmed with appliqués embroidered on transparent azure blue taffeta. Two large embroidered bands frame the apron of the skirt, then go around the hips and widen to feature a bolero; the embroidery ends behind in a box pleat; this fold, extended over the bodice, disappears under the guipure. The fronts open with wide peaked cut-out lapels, trimmed with pleated blue silk chiffon and edged with ruffles, on a stand-up collar made of similar chiffon. The sleeves, slightly flared on the hand, are trimmed with embroidery. The dress is completed with an azure blue belt.
Round gray straw hat trimmed with a blue silk chiffon drapery and a curved feather.
Parasol in white silk decorated with embroidery and embroidered with lace.

Animal of the Day!
Kha-nyou (Laonastes aenigmamus)
(Photo from Zoo Praha)
Conservation Status- Least Concern
Habitat- Central Laos
Size (Weight/Length)- 40 cm
Diet- Grasses; Leaves; Seeds
Cool Facts- Despite being a rodent, the kha-nyou, also known as the Laotian rock rat, is unique from all other rodents due to their relatedness with ancient, fossilized rodents. In fact, the closest relative of these rats was alive over 11 million years ago. The kha-nyou was officially described after being found in a food market in 2005. Little is known about their reclusive lifestyle outside of them being nocturnal and primarily herbivores. Kya-nyou have a waddle walk due to splayed feet that help them to climb over large boulders. Conservation groups are exploring Laos for further knowledge of the kha-nyou with the hope of finding fossilized remains to fill in that 11 million year gap.
Rating- 11/10 (Kinda squirrely, kinda ratty, kinda adorable.)

Barbara Shermund, A Day at the Beach, a cover for The New Yorker, published August 5, 1944.
It's unusual to see a person of color so prominently featured in a mainstream publication at the time, even if it was as a servant. She is reading, though, which suggests that she's a more serious person than her sunbathing mistress.
