napoleon movie was not good tbh

Hazbin Hotel Ep 5&6 Oh My God (Major Spoilers)
I am having so many thoughts, this is just a brain dump
-LUCIFER. He’s so pathetic I love him
-Jeremy Jordan you fucking legend. I’m a big fan of a lot of his work and was excited to see him in this but I was slightly unsure if he was the right casting since I expected Lucifer to be more of a high and mighty/snobby figure, but with the way they characterised him HE IS PERFECT.
-“TAKE THAT DEPRESSION”
-The Lucifer vs Alastor rivalry is beautiful
-“Ha ha, fuck you.”
-Father figure Alastor
-HIS EARS GO BACK LIKE A CAT WHEN HES ANGRY I CANT
-MIMZY’S ARRIVAL. I know most of us know the lore about her and Alastor being developed as a couple before it was scrapped but I really like how they are in the show
-Even if it’s just crumbs I’m so excited to be getting snippets of Alastor’s lore. It’s wild to keep going back and forth between “aw he actually cares for and protects his friends” and “oh my god he’s a fucking psycho”
-Speaking of that the scene with Husk holy shit. Poor man looked terrified
-The confirmation that Alastor’s also stuck working for someone, it has to be Lilith surely. I know some people will call it predictable because a lot of theories are coming true but personally I think it’s from good worldbuilding/foreshadowing
-ALASTOR IN FULL DEMON FORM JUST ANNIHILATING EVERYONE and then he just goes “Ah that was fun, now back to it”
-I kinda like the parallel between Al and Mimzy & Angel and Cherri where they invite their friends to join them if they want to, even if neither of them take it up initially maybe we’ll see them join the hotel in the future?
-BABY CHARLIE
-I really expected Lucifer to be a dickhead and a shitty dad, but he seems to be an overall better guy than most people in hell
-CHERRI BOMB ARRIVAL! And she’s Aussie now fuck yeah represent
-I still love her and Angel’s friendship even if she is a terrible influence. Everyone’s got that friend who’s solution to a bad day is just self-destruction but they mean well at least
-DARREN CHRIS TOO, THE MUSICAL THEATRE/BROADWAY ACTOR CASTING IS STACKED
-Emily is so sweet I love her
-The Molly cameo is so sweet, I was waiting for her to appear somewhere but lowkey forgot she was in heaven. Honestly though how did she get there when the rest of her and Angel’s family got condemned for what they did together? Maybe she left the mob or something idk I just hope we get to meet her properly at some point
-Heaven’s real fucked up? Yeah not shocked
-VAGGIE?? FALLEN ANGEL REVEAL?? AND SHE WAS AN EXTERMINATOR???? I know most of us called it but holy shit I didn’t expect it to be confirmed this soon
-Adam is such a dick but he’s so much fun
-I love that Charlie was gonna start her court presentation with definitions like a high school essay
-“Consent is a good name for a sex club” the gentleman Husk truthers gonna have fun with this one
-Pentious hitting on Cherri is hilarious and totally not the same level of subtlety I flirt with when I’m drunk
-Hearing more and more about how Val treats Angel is so sad especially with how casually he talks about it since it’s just another day for him
-Him parenting drunk Nifty is beautiful
-“You wanna play with the kitty?”
-Valentino is my #1 enemy
-Seeing Angel stand up to him to protect his friends is making me feel feelings. Like he knows that he’s gonna be treated even worse for it but I think he’s reaching his tipping point and shits gonna go down soon
-Also I know there’s a popular theory that he’s gonna die soon and a lot of the theories are coming true so I am scared. I kind of don’t think this one’ll happen though since he’s the fan favourite and its just too soon to take that much of a risk. Plus Vivsie’s admitted he’s the best written character and it’d be such a waste of all that development
-More sweet moments between him and Husk, they’ve gotten me so invested in this ship so fast
-The fact that most of heaven didn’t know about the extermination?? Wild
-Idk how I feel about the timeskip between Ep 4&5, they’re only a month away from the extermination now. Yes it’s making the stakes feel higher but I do wish we’d been able to see more of that time for the relationship development, all the characters seem much closer than before and we’ve only seen bits of how they got there
-I really wish they’d greenlit more than 8 episodes to pace things a little better but I’m glad we have season 2 confirmed
-That last minute ‘reveal Vaggie’s past to Charlie, boot them out of heaven and then cut to credits before she can react’ is gonna torture me until next week
-I don’t disagree with past criticism that Vivzie’s female characters can feel a bit underwritten but I think it’s getting better
-“We’re coming to the hotel first” plus all the theories that someone’s gonna die are fucking stressing me out man
Anyway hope you enjoy the brain dump, this show has once again consumed my thoughts

𝐒𝐘𝐍𝐎𝐏𝐒𝐈𝐒- the four times neteyam knew he was head over heels and the one time he confessed it.
𝐂𝐖- tooth rotting fluff, sappiest shit ever, kinda corny if u squint but they’re so parents, none overall.

I.
the skies were in peaceful and unbothered calm. warm breeze caressed neteyam’s skin as he made his way through the forest, to the pond. to you. birds chirming in the background; it all confered the setting an idyllic ambience.
it didn’t take him long to finally reach the hypnotising, crystal-like waters of the pond. and there you stood, surrounded by sun rays and beautifully decorated branches. every thought he carried seemed to dissolve, as it always did.
watching you get undressed of your ornaments, only to dive into the water moments later, he realised that, with you, he was able to live in the moment. other worries ceased importance when you leaned in for a big kiss, wrapping his favourite perfume, your own, around him. you were enhacing in all ways possible.
he walked away from the hiding of branches, his figure becoming visible to you.
your face light up with his sight, a truthful and ebullient smile, calling out his name.
II.
he knew you were around his pod; however, he did not expect the scene he’d encounter as he approached his home.
you were sat on the ground, knees bent. tuktirey, his youngest sister, was sitting in the same position before you. besides the two of you laid a collection of wildflowers, jewels and beads. some of those he had previously seen on you. your hands were occupied combing tuk’s hair, tangling flowers into her braids and adorning some other braids with beads. while you ornamented her hair, you were entertaining tuk with stories, which went from tales to some of your experiences.
your face was relaxed, the softest of smiles settling on your lips, eyes looking at the younger na’vi with kindness. tuk’s smile was way wider, due to the constant laughter. truth be told, she admired you and loved spending time in your presence.
“and there you go!” you finally exclaimed, accomodating the last details.
tuk turned her body to you, excitement washing all over her.
“you look so pretty” you smiled at her, pressing a kiss to her forehead.
she returned the smile, giving you a big hug. “ ‘m gonna go show mama!” she grinned before sprinting to find neytiri.
once she was gone, neteyam approached you.
“hey” you stood up to greet him with a kiss to his cheek. “your sister is the absolute cutest”
“she is. you know, you didn’t have to do this. you could’ve just, i don’t know, done something else. something fun” he said.
“this is my idea of fun” you shrugged, smile never abandoning your lips.
“and i adore you for that”
III.
his chin rested on your shoulder, embracing you with his arms from behind. one of his hands was laced with yours, caressing the back of your hand.
your eyes were locked with his in the reflection that the abandoned ship shot back. a lovesick smile adorning your and his features.
“i love us”
the words slipped off your mouth so casually they surprised neteyam. but he wasn’t complaining. he was eager to hear more, to listen to the mellifluous sound of your voice.
“what?” he asked in pure and bening confusion.
“i love us. i love you and me together” you elaborated, turning to face him. “i love how we fit each other.”
he tuck a loose strand of hair behing your ear. but his touch still lingered against your cheek.
“heaven is truly a place on pandora with you, y/n” he softly said. “better than i ever even knew”
you planted a kiss to his cheek before dozing off into the forest again, motioning for him to follow.
IV.
you couldn’t really recall how it had started. it didn’t really matter, though. the point was you both were laughing. laughing so wholeheartedly much. your laughs laced together melodically, although you were almost out of breath.
your cheeks hurt from all the grinning. your tummy hurt, too, that’s how hard and pure the laugh was. you couldn’t even open your eyes.
“i-” you broke into laughter again. “i can’t stop!”
you threw you head back, resting it against his shoulder. but it didn’t last long, for he was laughing so much. the whole scene only made you laugh even harder.
that same day, later on, you’d realise you could have stayed in that moment forever. worries dissolved, no tasks to fulfill, just him and you, enjoying such a mundane yet satisfying activity as laughing, living in your very own bubble.
as for neteyam, well, he was a goner as soon as he heard you giggle. it sounded so- addicting? yes, perhaps that was the word. the only thing he was sure about was that he never wanted to stop hearing you laugh.
V.
“y/n!”
you turned to greet him with a warming smile, one that never seemed to leave your face whenever he was around.
“listen, i’ve ... i’ve been meaning to tell you something” he started, face suddenly flushed.
you immeadiatly frowned. confused and, yes, slightly afraid. those words didn’t usually announce good news.
“is everything okay?” you asked carefully.
“yeah, totally” he flashed you a smile, before avoiding your gaze once again. “it’s just i’ve been feeling different lately. i, well i don’t know how to word it, but, the world suddenly was more beautiful. life’s been refreshing. i felt like doing really pointless things, but doing them made me happy. and i found someone to do them with. i found someone who sees me. i found someone worth living this world with and for.”
your heart swelled with happiness. you didn’t consider yourself to be able to elaborate a worthy response. there was a glint in your eyes that made you even more ethereal now.
“well that might have been the most beautiful thing i’ve heard in my entire existance” you cracked a smile. “you truly are one of a kind”
he stepped closer to you, tucking a loose strand of hair behind your ear.
“i can’t promise you forever, y/n. but i can promise you now, and everything i am”
you allowed yourself to avert your eyes to his lips for a fraction of second, before darting your orbs back at his. you couldn’t ask for more.
“you make my life better for just being in it.” you finally said, voice quiet. “and i can’t promise you forever either, because forever wouldn’t be enough”
he gifted you a smile, one you had grown to adore, to need even.
“kiss me” you whispered, not able to hold in your yearning anymore.
“all for you”
and then his lips were on yours, not for the first time, certainly not for the last time, but fervently, exploring in a way they had never before, saying unspoken words that translated that feeling you wanted the other so desperately to know but were afraid speaking wouldn’t be enough. feelings that would accompany you forever.

Despite Blair appearing to be a tough and cruel girl, she’s actually a sweetheart when she’s with you, to the point that people prefer talking to her when you’re next to her because she tones her mean girl persona down way more.
She loves spoiling you, it’s her favourite way to show her love for you. She’ll buy you whatever you want, typically you don’t ask for anything, but if you even mention finding something cute or wanting to buy something, she’s getting it for you before you can even think about purchasing it yourself. There’s a new collection announced by your favourite clothing brand? She makes her mother utilize her designer connections and personally talk with the brand to buy one of everything for you and have it shipped out immediately.
Her second love language towards you is physical touch. She needs to constantly be near you and showing you affection, whether it’s holding your hand or pressing small kisses around your face.
She’s super protective of you. Everyone knows you’re her partner and wouldn’t dare to cross her and make a move on you.
However, anyone who does dare, will feel the wrath of the queen bee. She’ll make it her mission to cause chaos, but you always end up having to help her stay calm and grounded.
Blair is certain that you’re her future. She knows the two of you will live a long life together filled with love and luxury. You mean everything to her and she never plans on letting you go.
Her favourite day with you consists of going out to a fancy dinner and, possibly, going shopping after. It all depends on how the two of you feel when dinner is over.
Blair can be really stubborn and impulsive at times, so whenever the two of you get into a disagreement, you typically give her time to herself so she can think about the situation and talk to you when she’s in a better state of mind. However, the two of you don’t fight that often.
You definitely need to reassure her and praise her by using words of affirmation. She can feel really insecure and sometimes all she needs and wants is for you to tell her how beautiful she looks and how much you love her.
Intimacy is also a very high priority for her. She finds chemistry and physical attraction to be very important in a relationship. Obviously, the two of you share that intimacy and understanding of each other’s desires.
Overall, Blair is just so in love with you and thinks so highly of you. She’s the perfect girlfriend.

Was able to borrow a copy of RTDLDX last month, had an absolute blast! ✨

The nostalgiaaaaaaa
Kirby my son. My child. His voice and mannerisms and overall squishiness are so healing. Reliving why I love him so much how did they make him so loveable.
I somehow remember where just about everything is from the original. This makes the new sand and mech enemies' positions are much more startling than expected.
Sand is awesome!! Mecha shows up much earlier than I expected, much to my relief. Mecha is awesome!!!!

The new animations for the super abilties' activations are adorable
Kirby's feetstep sounds are much louder now. Excellent choice HAL

I missed talking to Magolor. Realizing now that they really just had him there lying directly to your face huh.
I missed the Lor. Repairing the ship always got me real attached to it, so fighting it made me stressed :( And now I'm stressed all over again :(((
I noticed the original super ability animations are used during the fight vs Magolor, which is interesting.
I *also* noticed the original space rift opening animation is used in the Magolor Epilogue, which is not something of any importance whatsoever but hey, fun to see!

Another smash out of the park!
Here are some of my favourite moments from the 2023 Doctor Who Christmas special, The Church on Ruby Road. Spoilers ahead!
15 serves all cunt anytime he’s on screen. He wears kilts at the club, he flirts with a grandma, he sings to goblins. The sluttiest Doctor yet.
Ncuti and Millie’s chemistry is infectious in the best way. Anytime they’re on screen together they create the same sort of sparks and 10 and Donna or 4 and Romana. Can’t wait to see more of their Bart/Lisa sibling dynamic in the near-future.
Furthermore, Ruby and the Doctor’s connection as orphans. The Timeless Child is once again mentioned as the Doctor says he “just found out recently” and it once again creates more growth and emotion than whatever Chibnall tried to do with the idea.
Also, the Doctor just straight up says “I don’t have anyone” without hiding it!!! He’s slowly growing as a person!!!
Everything about the goblins. The musical number, how they’re manifested through coincidence and bad luck, their love of eating infants. The monsters of all time.
The Sundays’ neighbour is brought up as a very intriguing character right at the very end. Why does she know what a TARDIS is, and where has she seen it before? I smell a plot point….
The intelligent gloves are the best gadgets since the psychic paper. Love how they’re introduced and how they’re utilised when the Doctor yanks the goblin ship from the sky

The final bit where Ruby walks into the TARDIS and Ncuti says The Line(TM) fully convinces me we are all in for a new era of Who.
I reckon this is one of the best overall Christmas specials yet in Doccy Who, up there with The Christmas Invasion and Twice Upon A Time. There were a lot of unwrapped plotholes I feel, but RTD will probably expand upon them in Season 1/14. And I cannot wait!!!!!
