Steve screams after he walks into the kitchen. On the other side of his back door is Eddie Munson- the same Eddie is dead, who's body they had to leave in a different dimension. The same Eddie who's still covered in dirt and blood, hellfire top shredded open.
He blinks, looking a little shocked at Steves reaction. Lifts his hand and gives a little wave, a nervous smile. He takes a few steps back, putting some distance between him and the door.
Steve, cautiously, opens the door. "Eddie?"
"Uh, yeah, hi," he gives another nervous wave. "I did... die, right? That did actually happen... right?"
"No, yeah, that... that happned." They stare at each other for a moment. "Sorry, what the hell? Is that really you? How are you here? I mean, alive but also... here."
"The portals are massive now? Runs all across town? Pretty hard to miss, dude. And I'm... I'm pretty sure I'm me? Sort of. I, uh, haven't thought about it that hard. I'm pretty sure it'll make me freak out."
"Thought about what?" Steve frowns when Eddie just shakes his head. He finally follows the temptation to step outside, walk closer. "I can't help if I don't know what we're dealing with."
"I can't... I don't think I can say it." His voice is getting higher, the same way it did in that boathouse. "It's... can I show you?"
"Yeah?"
Eddie nods, shifts a little, like he's gearing himself up. Then, he pulls back his upper lip, revealing fangs.
"That's not good."
Eddie snorts, wiping his fingers on his jeans. "Understatement. But I don't feel the... what was it, hive?"
"Yeah, that's... not necessarily good either."
"Oh, that's great. Thanks."
"I mean, it's not all bad. It goes with your whole... thing, right?"

I was reading up about Darth Vader’s suit here (again for a fanfic, let me live) and HOLY SHIT Y’ALL. I never realized how much pain Anakin is in CONSTANTLY. Just saw that Nikolai now has his own public ig using the handle “nikolaitildanmark”. I’m so confused now if he’s not allowed to keep the prince to denmark title, then surely his ig handle should not be tildanmark??
To be honest, I don't really care 🙈 A handle on a social media site affects no one. Trying to control something as silly as an IG handle would make the DRF as preposterous as the BRF barring H&M from using "royal" in theirs.
