looking at the clock and biting her lower lip, inka gave him another 10 minutes to get out of his room or she should intervene. it had to be said that since she'd returned to the dorm, she'd barely caught a glimpse of jeongin. and not to lie, she really missed having her best friend around.

her leg bounced nervously against the floor — to her right, hyunjin was ready to push her off the sofa to stop that wave of uncontrollable stress. « stop that or i swear i'll punch you. » inka sighed heavily, rising violently from the sofa to pace the room. « i can't wait any longer, » she said suddenly, biting her nails almost to death as she stared at the wooden door in front of her, « i need to see him. »

hyunjin beckoned her to go, far too annoyed to see her going in circles for days. so the young girl strode towards the youngest's door, knocking twice without hesitation, before pushing open the door and signalling her presence. « innie, it's me kalaya.. » she whispered softly, facing a boy lying on his bed with his headphones on.

he seemed to be deep in thought, so she closed the door behind her, moving slowly into the room until he noticed her. he set his eyes on the figure of his eldest member, hastily removing his headphones as he straightened up on his bed, « noona..? » he said softly, his voice breaking uncontrollably.

inka gave him a slight smile, playing nervously with her fingers as she stopped in front of him. pretending to look towards the door, she tilted her face slightly while observing his brown eyes, « hey boo, you haven't come out of your room in like two days... i'm not worried or anything but the dishes are piling up and i need you to be alive so you can take care of them, so... »

a light laugh left the young man's lips and he lowered his head, shaking it positively. inka felt a weight lift from her heart at the mere sound of his crystalline laughter — it was something she had missed very much. taking a step forward, daring to stop scratching his almost-bloody skin, she held out a hand to the boy, who watched her for a long moment.

deep down, jeongin felt abandoned. because he thought he'd lost the person who meant the most to him in the world, he thought he'd lost his landmark, his mainstay. he thought he'd lost inka' smile forever, and deep inside, a certain resentment had set in. but he knew she'd never leave him, especially not like this.

clearing his throat as he rose from his seat, he approached the girl and almost violently slipped his arms around her, clutching her to him as if she could escape in a snap of her fingers. « i missed you, » he said softly, holding her close for a long moment, « i promise i'll do all the dishes you want, but don't ever leave again. »

a light laugh left inka's lips and she nodded, slipping her arms around jeongin's waist, her chin against his shoulder. it was warm and comforting, like a reassuring touch they both needed. « i'll never leave you, » she began to say, caressing his back from bottom to top, « i can't live without you anyway. »

« neither do i, » the youngest whispered, moving slightly away from inka to look into her eyes, « who's going to wake me up in the morning? »

When I spoke to Greg, I said tell me about your rugby story and he said he spent a lot of time as a youngster down in Plymouth where his dad was playing at the time. In a different scenario, he could easily have come through our academy system had he spent longer down here.

“He’s another who has played in the Premiership Cup, he’s had time playing in the Championship, and he looks to be on that pathway, similar to Sam Simmonds when he was in the Championship, that really excites me. With Sam moving on at the end of the season, he may well take on that mantel of being that explosive, ball-carrying, all-action No.8 for the future.

“And Alfie, he’s a big guy, another who has had that bit of experience playing in the Championship, so we’re very excited at what all of them will bring. What I like already is that all of them are willing to work and want to improve. That’s a great trait to have and I’m seeing it in abundance from all three of them.”

An IRIC is only intended as a temporary, stand-by crew and is not intended for long term assignment where a formal Rapid Intervention Crew should be assigned. The term IRIC can be used synonymously with “Two-Out”. Imminent Life-Threatening Situation A situation in which immediate action is required to prevent the loss of life or serious injury before the team of five (5) firefighters is assembled and an IRIC has been established. Level 1 PPE Department issue fire fighting boots, bunker pants, coat, hood, helmet, gloves, and SCBA. Level 2 PPE Department issue fire fighting boots, bunker pants, coat, hood, helmet and gloves. Policy The first arriving fire department unit is required to determine if the incident involves an IDLH atmosphere. Prior to initiating interior structural fire fighting operations in an IDLH atmosphere, a minimum of five (5) firefighters shall be assembled on scene: 2 – interior team members 2 – IRIC members 1 – pump operator Prior to the assembly of five firefighters, appropriate actions may include: • Conduct a comprehensive size-up • Protect exposures • Establish water supply • Prepare for interior operations prior to the second-due company’s arrival • Place ground ladders • Control of outside utilities To facilitate the prompt establishment of the IRIC, all companies, including ambulances, shall don Level 2 PPE (exception – helmet and gloves) prior to response. Exception to this is permissible in the following situations: • Driver/Operators are allowed to respond without donning their Level 2 PPE • Situations where donning Level 2 PPE prior to arrival at the scene would not be safe (i.e. company is out of quarters at time of alarm and stopping to exit vehicle to don PPE would pose a risk to safety) Driver/Operators not involved with pumping or water supply operations are to don Level 1 PPE upon arrival at scene. When a minimum of five (5) firefighters are assembled on scene, a two firefighter team, equipped with portable radios, may begin an interior attack. The interior attack can only be initiated when the two outside firefighters have donned Level 1 PPE. The initial attack crew shall consist of at least two firefighters with a radio. While in the IDLH atmosphere the firefighters must remain in voice (not radio), visual or touch contact with each other. 1. Voice means that the firefighters must be close enough to speak to one another without requiring the use of a radio. 2. Visual means that the firefighters must be close enough to see each other. 3. Touch means close enough for physical contact. The firefighters located outside the IDLH atmosphere shall be equipped with the appropriate tools and equipment that would contribute to firefighter rescue. The IRIC must actively monitor the status of the inside firefighters. The IRIC may be assigned an additional activity so long as they are able to immediately perform assistance or rescue activities. Examples of appropriate additional activities may include: • Initial Incident Command • Stretching of hoselines • Ground level exterior ventilation • Equipment retrieval • Control of outside utilities • Exposure protection and exterior fire attack (if appropriate) • Placement of ground ladders Additional duties assigned to an IRIC member shall not include pump operations. Additional activities will be restricted so as not to require the abandonment of the IRIC position directly outside the hazardous area. In the event the IRIC must perform functions that would interfere with this assignment, they shall inform the Incident Commander who must either immediately assign another IRIC or advise interior personnel to exit the IDLH area until another IRIC can be assigned. Exceptions Incipient Stage Fire Entry may be made while a fire is in the incipient stage. This is defined as a fire which can be controlled or extinguished by portable extinguishers. Imminent Life-Threatening Situation An imminent life-threatening situation exists when immediate action could prevent the loss of life or serious injury before the team of five firefighters is assembled. This determination must be based on reasonable, justifiable indicators that are present and not general assumptions. Where initial arriving personnel find an imminent life-threatening situation, deviation from this procedure is permitted within the following parameters: • Command shall notify Dispatch that a rescue is being attempted without an IRIC on scene. (Example – “Engine 4 is on the scene with a two-story house, fire showing, report of occupants on 2nd floor, Engine 4 is going interior without an IRIC”.) • Dispatch shall notify all responding companies that entry is being made without an IRIC on scene and the location of the interior company. (Example – Dispatch to all responding companies, Engine 4 is on scene, going to the 2nd floor, attempting rescue without an IRIC.) • After completing a search of the structure or rescue of the occupants, firefighters shall withdraw from the structure until Two-In/Two-Out procedures can be implemented with the arrival of additional personnel. Dispatch shall be notified when the firefighters have exited the building. All exceptions to the Two-In/Two-Out policy shall be documented by the company officer through the chain of command, to the Fire Chief. Dynamic Serie A centre-back emerges on Liverpool radar as Jurgen Klopp eyes more cover

Liverpool are reportedly showing an interest in signing impressive Cagliari defender Sebastian Walukiewicz this summer.The centre of Jurgen Klopp’s defence emerged as a real issue for the Reds last season as Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez suffered early season-ending injuries, while they were eventually joined by Joel Matip on the sidelines. The problem position ultimately led to a tame defence of their Premier League crown. Klopp has already guarded against a similar scenario by bringing in Ibrahima Konate from RB Leipzig for £36 million. However, it looks like the German is still hunting fresh recruits, with Walukiewicz also on his radar. Calciomercato claims that Liverpool are monitoring the 21-year-old, who stands at a commanding 6ft 2in. The report states that, while not being outstanding in the air, the Pole loves a tackle and is a very good reader of the game. In 19 games Serie A outings last season he averaged 1.4 tackles, 1.9 interceptions, three clearances and 0.7 blocks per game. He is also considered a very good passer, averaging 42.5 passes per match with a completion rate of 85.9%. He joined Cagliari in January 2019 for just £3.5million. And Calcio adds that Walukiewicz will cost Liverpool £8m to land his signature. That would represent a bargain deal for a player who has already won three caps for Poland. The potential signing would also almost certainly signal the end of Nat Phillips’ time at Liverpool too. The 24-year-old had an impressive season for the Reds as cover last term. Liverpool backed over Henderson stance

Meanwhile, Gabriel Agbonlahor has said that Liverpool are doing exactly the right thing by holding off on handing Jordan Henderson a new contract. The Reds’ captain has proved an unmissable figure for manager Jurgen Klopp and has grown into a fantastic role model. In fact, he is approaching 400 games following his recent 10-year Anfield anniversary. However, reports emerged earlier this month that talks over a new deal have so far proved ‘unsatisfactory’.

Not only that, but he could even leave Liverpool this summer. Paris Saint-Germain and Atletico Madrid are reportedly monitoring the situation closely. Henderson, 31, has two years left on his current deal – the same as several other key stars including Alisson Becker and Mohamed Salah. Liverpool faced criticism from ex-left-back Jose Enrique following the reports about Henderson emerging. According to former Aston Villa man Agbonlahor, though, there is a misunderstanding and Liverpool are doing the right thing. “This is where people don’t understand contracts,” the pundit told Football Insider. “He’s got two years left and he’ll be 33 when the two years are done. June 25

John 14:1-3 1"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. 2In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

Jesus had just told the disciples He was leaving. He told Peter that he would deny Him, and then He followed those words with the passage for this evening. "Do not let…" is telling them that our hearts don't have to be in turmoil. Few Christians today believe this! Jesus was telling them that in the worse imaginable scenario, they could choose to have faith and reject fear. They could remain calm and firm in their convictions in the face of their Master being tortured to death. How in the world is that possible?

He told them how, "Trust in God; trust also in me." Trust, or believe, in both God the Father's sovereignty over all, and Jesus' choice to go the direction He was led by His Father. The sovereignty of God and faith in His will being for our good is a great source of peace to the people of God. No matter what you face, if you know the God who loves you will have His way in the end, you can peacefully endure all things. It is when we place our trust in our self that we should be disturbed! Where is your trust placed in your situation today?

In Jesus' day, a suitor would ask his prospective bride to wait for him while he added a room onto his father's house. Once the room was completed, he would return with his friends for a weeklong wedding party. Then they would return to the new room to live together. He would tell her something very similar to verses 2 and 3 above. Jesus is not leading you on. He can't lie. He is preparing a place for you. He will be back to receive you to Himself so that you can forever be with Him. It should cause us amazement to consider that He so desires us to be with Him. Don't let your heart doubt or be in fear. The One who cannot lie has promised a wonderful new beginning, eternally in His presence, in a special relationship with Him.

Remember: Trust! Believe! Do not let your heart be troubled.

Today on “What the Hell is My Gender?!”

                       I don’t like being “girly” or feminine 

and I think I would like my hair short (like 2in long, short short)

        I often picture how I look (while sitting or standing or in imaginary scenarios) and every now and then it’s a male-ish version of me (short hair, boys clothes, face is a bit different but it’s still me) and it makes me happy 

but then again I like having long and soft hair (it could be soft while short though OwO)

         I don’t have a problem with being referred to as she/her

                       but he/him sounds better?

I don’t like “they/them” cause it doesn’t sound like me

   I was kinda raised tomboy-ish so I guess it’s kinda how I am. I don’t like dresses (I own one dress that I don’t fit into or like) and I only wear skirts or flowy “feminine” shirts if it’s a requirement.

                          my voice is really high and squeaky, which I dislike, but I’m pretty sure that’s how everyone feels about their voice?

   I’ve got this feeling of being really ambitious (not a gender trait but-) I also like the way “power” feels, as if it makes me masculine? or is that the whole “glass ceiling” thing? I like the feeling of strength, too. I get a surge of pride when I look back at moments where I’m stronger than someone or I get compliments on strength (I specifically remember when I was 6, I tried “working out” my hands so that I could be “known for having the strongest grip ever”). 

                   I think some of that feeling, though, is me being super skinny + flat. I am freakishly small, a bit over 80lbs and barely 5 ft tall. I don’t like it, and I wonder if that’s me wanting to “fill out” more (I won’t be growing much anymore if at all, I have small parents and already had my growth spurts)? I don’t want to be tall, I don’t want to gain a ton of weight or anything... I want a more “sturdy” feeling of myself?? 

                                                                                         another problem: could all of this just be my romantic attraction to boys? I find them aesthetically appealing, so I want myself to be aesthetically appealing like them? is that it?

every now and then, I wear certain outfits that are... not necessarily feminine but make me feel like the typical “teen girl”,,, which I sometimes enjoy. Nice jean shorts and (in comparison to the rest of my shirts that are pretty baggy) a tightish shirt. sometimes I grab my keys (on a lanyard) in my hands and have my purse hang over my shoulder and it feels nice to present myself in this way. 

        other times, I wear cargo shorts that feel kinda masculine in a way and a sweatshirt (which feels more masculine ofc, sometimes actually wearing a “boy” sweatshirt) and it’s AMAZING. 

I’ve seriously considered cutting my hair short, maybe something like this: dean winchester haircut or this random pinterest cut (except longer)

oh not to mention I’m a sex-repulsed ish asexual who dislikes genitals in general and thinks underwear on both sexes is gross to imagine? I doubt I’d be comfortable with the looseness of boxers (boyshorts might be my common ground here)

                   if I could, I’d only wear cargo shorts... no doubt, but that’s more of a style choice, really

Team DMND (diamond) Dawn Diamond- Believing that sugar coating things doesn’t actually help Dawn tends to be blunt and cutting though she sincerely means well. Light blue see through top with dark blue tank top underneath. Team ECPS (eclipse) Ember Drake- A pragmatic battler, prone to bending the rules to the breaking point. As far as she’s concerned when it comes to battle anything that keeps you alive is allowed.
