Earth Love 2024 is a collaborative zine that celebrate Earth Day with our favourite goddess: Ultimate Madoka.

Like the past years it’s going to be PDF only, and completely free. Artists/Writers of all skill-levels are welcome, all entries that follow submission guidelines will be accepted and included in the zine!

You can write about the reason why Madoka love the Earth so much, if she does something particular on Earth Day, her job as Earth protector, or if she looks for puppies or cute things on Earth when she doesn’t save magical girl… the possibilities are endless. Remember you can draw/write about other characters, but the focus of your piece must be on the Earth and Ultimate Madoka.

A4 (2480 × 3508 pixels @ 300dpi), RBG, PNG, portrait orientation. Make sure your canvas is this size.

Traditional art will be accepted, but please scan it cleanly!

Only complete drawings. Sketches will not be included.

All writings must not exceed 1k/1.2k words!

Before submit triple check your piece for grammar/spelling errors. Keep in mind that mods aren’t english native speakers so we might let some errors slip our eyes when we read it. So please get someone that can proofread your work before send it to us.

Please use a google doc link to submit your work.

★⠀⠀ ⁄ ⠀⠀WELCOME BACK FLEETWOOD MAC: Recapping Plastic Flowers at Coachella ────⠀⠀Published on April 22, 2024 at 6:56PM EST. trigger warnings: substance abuse, alcohol, unspecified drugs.

On January 7, 2024 it was confirmed by Goldenvoice and Superbloom Media that international sensation Plastic Flowers would make their Coachella debut and perform at both weekends, intercepting their South Korean promotions for their latest studio album Tower of Babel.

According to a representative from Goldenvoice, they had been working with the band and their management about a potential performance since 2022, stating that it "hadn't been the right time" until this year's festival. Many fans have theorized that they only agreed because it's Superbloom's last chance to send them because of their failed contract negotiations earlier this year.

Despite this, fans were excited to see the band perform on American soil for the first time since 2020 and their place at the Coachella main stage was filled thirty minutes before their performance even began with signs and fan chants echoing around the festival. They would take the stage from 9:00pm to 11:00pm and perform __ songs, just before headliner Lana Del Rey on both Friday nights.

The members traveled from Seoul to Los Angeles four days before the festival started to much fanfare at the respective airports and even an arrest made against a fan that attempted to follow them into further transportation.

For the biggest stage at Coachella, the members of Plastic Flowers pulled out all the stops with their biggest hits—Are U Coming?, Teeth, and The Chain—while also introducing their audience to their more unknown songs—Your Needs, My Needs; Please; and I Disagree—which showed off technical skills and strong stage presence from all five members. The infamous guitar and bass solo between Salem and Oliver from The Chain even made it's great comeback since it's last performance in 2021, with it being cut from all recent performances.

Teasing their new solo careers, each member was given a minute for their own performance that had many fans excited for the change. Oliver's VALENTINE, Junyeong's FEEL LIKE, and Serin's SUGARCOAT didn't make as many waves as they felt very "stale" to fans and was everything they were expecting from the three. Salem showed off her ability to plagiarize Oliver with OMG and showcases her perspective on their relationship, which was heavily dissected by English majors on stan Twitter. Finally, the one making all the noise, is Deurim and her song OBSESSED, which is a total banger by the way, and dedicating it to Salem.

Yeah. It's getting messy in that hotel room tonight.

Nothing was more iconic, however, than their steady foundation changing with only a few months left in their original contract. Sticking with Salem and Oliver at the front and center, Deurim and Serin seemed to switch sides, causing confusion for many fans. Since they've been performing together in 2017, Serin has always been on the right side of the stage, just behind Oliver.

For those unsure why this is such a big deal, Plastic Flowers have a tricky history when it comes to their interpersonal relationships. But... nothing has ever caused them to change staging. Even when Oliver and Salem broke up and refused to talk to each other for three months—what a time to be a Poppy truly—they remained right next to each other.

However, no member of Plastic Flowers was as busy as lead singer Oliver Song, who was seen up close and personal with bandmate Deurim and Finn Lee of Deep Dive, who also performed at the festival. Song and Lee were spotted at multiple stages together including Doja Cat, No Doubt, and a few others. At the same time, he was seen with Deurim hanging off his arm, sunglasses on as they attempted to hide in the crowd and sneak kisses.

In the world of Rock n Roll, the wild antics and self-indulgent lifestyle has become a staple for almost all of its musicians as substance abuse and turmoil has plague them for years. Plastic Flowers is no different, sadly. Despite their beginning in the Korean idol industry—which is known to be very conservative and heavily focused on the appearance of perfection—Plastic Flowers' habits are an open secret that many domestic fans try to ignore as long as it doesn't effect the band too much. Fans are happy to party with their favorite band at their local bar residency, but seeing Oliver on stage with a bottle of champagne has caused outrage on Twitter and other social media platforms.

At Coachella, the members took their days off in stride and each participated in some "heavy" drinking according to bystanders. And while drugs are banned from the festival, many attendees still find a way to sneak it into the grounds and spend the day high of their mind. Even Serin, who is known to back away from drinking, was seen with a cup in her hands at all times and was spotted at the bars multiple times. Not the biggest or newest scandal, but many fans are beginning to be concerned about their health once again, forgetting that they are actual adults.

Other rumors were spread about the band, but very little "proof" was found compared to what we've already talked about. A few "backstage hands" reported a physical fight between two members (unknown who) that circulated around Twitter before their performance, but seeing the way they interacted on stage? Unlikely. Plastic Flowers are known for many things, but hiding their unstable relationships is not one of them. They would have made it very obvious if that was true. However, claims of a verbal fight between guitarist Serin and Pianist Deurim did make the rounds and had better claims, seen by the formation change and the pair keeping far away from each other unless filming official content.

Another fan on Twitter also tried to spread that Kang Junyeong had been arrested for unknown charges on April 19, which Superbloom Media quickly shut down on their own official account. The fan even made their own fake mugshot for the idol, which circulated like wildfire for three years before Superbloom's response. They announced that they would be taking legal action against the fan as well. When asked about the situation, Jungyeong shrugged it off and said: "It's one of the better rumors spread about me", making all of his band mates laugh.

Not the biggest scandal discussed, but all the members took fanmade signs from those in the pit that said FUCK SUPERBLOOM MEDIA with Serin pointing it out with a laugh. During THE RIVER, the posters were displayed at their microphone stands before stagehands took them away before the chorus could even start.

Despite the many scandals, the weekend was really good for Plastic Flowers as their fanbase grows internationally and all the social media exposure. From all the reviews I've seen, they put on a good show and I can only hope Superbloom Media posts a pro-shot to their YouTube channel.

Unfortunately, many people aren't familiar with their emotional needs or struggle with voicing them altogether. This results in dissatisfaction within relationships, often leading to resentment, if someone's love needs aren't being met.

Whether you're trying to win someone's heart, maintain a thriving relationship, or if you simply want to make a good impression on your boss, check out the tips below to help you gain (and keep) the key to their heart.

Aries & Their Love Language

Aries is considered the baby of the zodiac as this sign represents the birth of spring and the astrological new year. With that being said, it's important that you make the ram feel like they've got your undivided attention. They aren't necessarily needy as they do have a strong independent streak. BREAKING: PRINCESS CAROLINE, WIFE OF PRINCE SHANE, HAS DIED

NORTHERN BRINDLEN LAKES --

Her Imperial Highness Princess Caroline, died this evening at Brindlen Shores Hospital at 11:22pm. A spokesperson for Hanson Manor confirmed that HIH died of complications after giving birth to premature twins.

The princess was born Caroline Nora McParr on February 8, 1990 in Glimmershine, the only child of Michael McParr and Jonelle (née Talbert). The McParr family moved to Northern Brindlen Lakes in 1993, and Caroline met Prince Shane at Brindlen Primary Academy, where Caroline was only a year ahead of the prince. The two didn't start dating, however, until 2015, when Prince Shane graduated from Foxbury University.

Their engagement was announced on 20 December 2020 by the Prince's mother, HIH Princess Traci, and the couple were married on 13 September 2021 at Heliga Klostret in Newcrest City. Princess Caroline's pregnancy was announced in March of this year, and went on maternity leave at the end of August.

HIH was rushed to Brindlen Shores Hospital around 6:40pm this evening after collapsing at home from labor pains. Prince Shane was present at the time Princess Caroline died.

Funeral services will be held on 28 September at the Imperial Palace at 1:00pm, followed by a procession to the Imperial Crypt, where she will be interred with other deceased members of the Imperial Family, including that of her late-father-in-law, Prince Francis.

👥 Con una comitiva de dieciséis representantes de la Asociación de Guías de Montaña de Huaraz vienen especialmente a presentar su trabajo, su historia y su fuerte vínculo con la cooperación suiza. Asimismo, la cooperación, empresas y asociaciones suizas exhibirán sus proyectos.

🍽 La feria gastronómica ofrece la oportunidad de sumergirse en la cultura suiza y probar platos tradicionales: la Fondue o los Spaetzli. Para los más pequeños se presenta el espectáculo “Conejo Tell” y tienen a disposición una zona infantil con actividades todo el día, como juegos inflables y realidad virtual. 🐰

🤩 Los visitantes descubren proyectos culturales vinculados a las montañas, a través de un programa artístico binacional: con músicos como el pianista suizo-peruano Bruno Ramírez Galluser, la arpista suiza Kety Fusco, la cantautora peruana Naysha y el ganador del Latin Grammy, Kayfex, hay variedad para todos los gustos.

🕙 10:00am. Apertura: Feria gastronómica, juegos inflables, pared de escalada, exposiciones fotográficas, presentaciones de turismo, stands de iniciativas suizas y peruanas, casa suiza, premios.

🕚 11:00am. Teatro Infantil: “Conejo Tell”.- Espectáculo de teatro infantil basado en el cuento clásico suizo “Guillermo Tell”, producido por Ayepotámono Teatro.

🕐 1:00pm. Música: Banda Colegio Pestalozzi.- liderada por los músicos Laureano Rigol y Abel Páez, tocarán una mezcla de jazz con ritmos latinos y cuerno de los Alpes.

🕟 4:30pm. Música: Bruno Ramirez Gallusser.- joven pianista suizo-peruano de Tarapoto, que obtiene en 2023 el 1º puesto en el VIII Festival Pianistas del Futuro y está invitado a tocar en el Carnegie Hall de Nueva York el 30 de junio.

🕕 6:00pm. Música: Naysha.- intérprete, compositora y productora musical peruana de World Music, cuenta con tres discos, el más reciente “Despertar” explora ritmos del Perú y Latinoamérica. La investigación sobre las culturas de Perú es otra de sus actividades. Conduce el programa televisivo Miski Takiy, que se transmite por TV Perú.

🕖 7:40pm. Música: Kety Fusco (Suiza).- licenciada en arpa clásica, se ha embarcado en una revolución en el mundo del arpa. En 2020 publicó su álbum debut Dazed, aclamado por la crítica. Gracias a su instinto y a su voluntad de cambiar la connotación y reputación del arpa, Kety ha sido invitada a prestigiosos festivales y salas, como el Royal Albert Hall de Londres, el Festival de Jazz de Montreux o también el SDG Global Festival of Action de las Naciones Unidas.

🕗 8:50pm. Música: Kayfex.- Luis Gavilán Alarcón es Dj y productor musical originario de Ayacucho, que fusiona la electrónica y las melodías e instrumentos autóctonos de cada región del Perú. Su último disco Atipanakuy, se inspira en las danzas de tijeras, es ganador del Latin Grammy (2023) por mejor diseño de empaque.

The 24 Hour Plays Make NJ Debut at Mile Square Theatre

(HOBOKEN, NJ) -- On April 7, 2024, The 24 Hour Plays make their New Jersey debut at Hoboken's Mile Square Theatre. Established in 1995, The 24 Hour Plays are a non-profit theater company that bring creative communities together to write, rehearse and perform new plays and musicals in twenty-four hours. Showtime is 7:00pm.

“Mile Square Theatre and The 24 Hour Plays honor an abiding belief in the power of creative collaboration to develop transformative multicultural voices for the theater,” said Kevin R. Free, Artistic Director of Mile Square Theatre. “We’re thrilled to be a partner to The 24 Hour Plays for its New Jersey premiere and host to a delightful mix of talents from New Jersey and New York City to make the program really sing.”

“The relationships artists build during formative theatre experiences like The 24 Hour Plays last their entire careers,” said producer Leo Layla Diaz. “We seek the very best cross-section of multi-generational and multi-cultural theater artists – and we arm them with what they need to hone their voices for this unique event."

Actors slated to participate include Gabriel Hernandez (Quarter Rican), Nirvaan Pal (School of Rock), Matt Lawler (“Station 11”, “Billions”), Kennedy Kanagawa (Into the Woods), Stephanie Kurtzuba (“The Irishman;” Wolf of Wall Street;” “Annie”), Joy Katharine Donze (Funny, Like an Abortion), DeAnna Supplee (B.R.O.K.E.N. code B.I.R.D switch.), Jason Yanto, Joelle Zazz, Maya Jeyam, Julia Way, Rich Frohman, David F. Gow (“The Girls on the Bus”), Jordan Ho, Grant Madison Stanton, Ross Cowan, Keivana Wallace (The Christmas Tree Farm) and Ian Lloyd Sanchez.

Writers include Susie Felber (Host/Producer "The Hawk"), DW Gregory (The Yellow Stocking Play, Radium Girls), Iraisa Ann Reilly (The Jersey Devil is a Papi Chulo), Pia Wilson (Black Bee), Marcus Scott (Sibling Rivalries), and Raakhee Mirchandani (JOURNEY TO THE STARS: KALPANA CHAWLA, ASTRONAUT). Directors include Julie Tucker, Rachel Dart (The Christmas Tree Farm) and Goldie Patrick (Paradise Blue). Musical Guests include Faye Chiao and Tasha Gordon-Solmon (Fountain of You). Participating actors, writers, directors and production staff gather for the first time on the evening of Saturday, April 6th to introduce themselves and share prop and costume items they’ve been asked to bring. The writers will take inspiration from this meet and greet to write new plays overnight. In the morning, the actors and directors will receive the six new plays and team up with production staff to begin their rehearsal and tech process, with curtain at 7:00pm that night.

The 24 Hour Plays: Hoboken are produced by Leo Layla Diaz and Mark Armstrong in conjunction with Mile Square Theatre’s Artistic Director Kevin R. Free. The event will honor the long-standing contributions of the Rostan Family to Mile Square Theatre with the dedication of the naming of the gallery space. Proceeds from The 24 Hour Plays: Hoboken will benefit Mile Square Theatre’s non-profit theatre making and educational programming.
