I totally agree with your point about the last few podcasts. I didn't spend way to long to find a proper option to watch IndyCar and stay at a track where I didn't feel comfortable to be called a viewer who doesn't care about racing and only watches because of drivers or something else. And to add to that I'm really tired of the underlying misogyny lately

I literally made big men leave a grandstand because i was screaming too much about Marcus, for them to talk shit like that.

I literally stopped talking to a guy who liked me because he kept saying i was watching marcus just because he was pretty and didnt care about the rest.

Okay fine for the first episodes it can be like surprising that so many female follow the podcast because they probably didnt notice it on other platforms. But now it’s fucking annoying and ridiculous and insulting. They cant get over the fact that women also are interested in the sport and want the opinions and stories of actual racing drivers???

I dont think i’ll be catching up with the episodes :/

Also im very sorry for ur experience at a race track, u don’t deserve that

Last Song: I’ve been listening to loads of 90s music again recently because I feel like I’m having a bit of a musical midlife crisis, but the song I’ve been listening too LOADS recently is I Do This All The Time by Self Esteem. I love her stuff and her attitude and I just love her and her lyrics are sublime 😍

Last Show: I don’t know what context of show we’re talking here, like Live Show it was probably Queen & Adam Lambert last summer (finally!) because I’m absolutely terrible at organising things to go to and organising myself to get tickets before they sell out 😩

Currently Watching: Taskmaster UK because it’s such a great series, I’m genuinely looking forward to it each week this time, and I’ve also been binging Bob’s Burgers again but I’m doing it at night so keep falling asleep and missing loads. I haven’t really got a streaming show on the go at the moment though because I’ve been struggling getting in to things recently for some reason. I’m very excited for new Black Mirror though!

Currently Reading: The Bullet that Missed by Richard Osman, but I’m reading it slooooowly. I read the other books in the series and they’re great but I keep getting distracted and forgetting to sit down and read this one which I need to fix. I’ve become something of a holiday reader and I need to get back into reading properly somehow.

Current Obsession: I started replaying Super Mario Odyssey from the start on the Switch again so that’s partly responsible for the distractions mentioned above. Finished the story in about 4 days but it’s going back to get the other stuff that takes time and I’m not the most skilled gamer. I’m a bit at sea with my other obsessions though. I’m still in on F1, but not as obsessively as I was a year ago or so? I actually have been enjoying FE more the last few races but I get more drawn in by the circus surrounding F1.
