i find it interesting that alternate universe sam said 'i can fix him' about rodney (something original universe sam wouldn't do.) which makes me wonder what else was different about her.

Thoughts on 10.13, no spoilers.
Another relatively calm episode. Fun, funny, sweet, and with an underlying touch of melancholy.
I don't know where the Malik story is going. I'm not sure it was terribly necessary to tell this particular backstory. Did we learn anything new? I don't think so. Is it the beginning piece of some larger story? I hope so. But I also wonder how much time we really have to explore it at this point. We lost other characters for a full episode because of this.
All the same, it was sweet to see Red and Malik's interactions. I thought he was very nice to her. And I have to say, I absolutely love seeing him through her eyes. I love seeing this whole side of him that was forefront in this episode. We usually only get a few minutes of it here and there. How strange to have an entire episode of this side of Reddington.
I'm with Cooper, in the question that he asked Reddington. Yeah, I'm a bit worried. That Vibe has been there the whole season. And the story about the Matador is one of those things where I'm wondering if he's talking about that person, or talking about himself. I hope that Reddington is preparing for something that he is planning, rather than waiting for the inevitable.
I desperately want a happy ending to this series. It can still go either way, but it definitely feels like the end is being prepared for. It's curious that they're taking this calmer approach, rather than going high drama.
I understand the complaints that it's lackluster. It's not the intensity that we're used to. But it's also enjoyable as well. We are seeing deeper levels of our characters. And we just got to watch Reddington run down the street, shouting and brandishing a....no spoilers.

watched 10.13 tonight. fucking hilarious to me that Dean’s final line to Sam about his decision to give up on curing his fratricide curse is that he’ll “go down swinging”.
Think that phrasing through for me, king, swinging AT WHO, it’s been literally ten episodes since you were flailing a hammer at Sam’s head
