Quick question: do you also have discussions with yourself in your head? Your main voice - which sounds like your voice when you speak and a second more logical voice that sounds slightly off? Or is that just me and I need to go get that checked out?

dude idk if marius or artem hates me but wtf??

so for anniversary i got marius and that was the start of marius becoming my new number one fave!! artem is sharing that spot but also taking place number 2 (then 3 and 4 is vyn —> luke but anywys)

SOOO ARTEM DIDNT COME HOME FOR ANNIVERSARY WHEN I WAS PULLING FOR HIM AND I WAS UPSET BUT GOT OVER IT SOONER OR LATER. then returning youth came.

i rlly wanted marius out of everyone bc the glasses are just so 🥺 and the illustration cutscene WAS VERY CUTE AND THE CARD IS JUST HRJEJEHR

but artem came home. and… dgmw, i love artem so dearly BUT I DIDNT WANT HIS RY CARD, but artem, luke, and vyn came home. i refused to pull again bc i knew the chances of getting marius were slim after i pulled again and got luke 😭

so i went to save, and now here is vyn’s birthday :D i had a very hard time debating to get his card (might get it on a side acc thats strictly for him and maybe luke!!) but i decided not to. AND THEN HYV ANNOUNCED RERUN CARDS WOO

and it was a marius card i was very interested in, i planned to pull for it when its sunday since thats our s-chip refill day. so sunday. today.

guess who comes home 😁 (btw the yt video is EmilyBaker who plays idv <3)

BUT LIKE……… artem wing. why…. why would you do this? twice. someone wanna trade ry marius for artem or luke 😭/lh AHHH, i rlly am debating on trying to pull again but he… reset my ssr so. sigh.

"people show their true colours in life threatening situations" no, they show you what they act like when they're mortally terrified, an emotion notorious for literally turning your entire brain off to the point where people who go into those situations as a profession need to be literally trained on how to not have that happen

BAD HISTORY WITH ✨ME✨

One of my favorite passages of Mexican history is when the Conservative Party in Mexico decided after the Independence (1810-1821) that we needed a European prince to become Emperor of Mexico. And they campaigned in Europe to find a good one - while the country already had a president 🤡.

And then I think the French helped through Napoleon III’s wife so they ended up bringing an Austrian Prince (ta-dah?) Ferdinand Maximilian Josef Maria von Habsburg-Lothringen. Now known as Maximilian I of Mexico. He was crowned at the Cathedral of Mexico City (idk the date, there won’t be a quiz, okay?), he brought Charlotte of Belgium with him! I mean, he had to, she was his wife after all… Empress too! (Lol)

Anyway, sad story: he had some descent ideas for laws that would help the indigenous people however you know conservatives didn’t like these ideas… I personally believe the nail in the coffin was that he was trying to be recognized as head of state at the same time as Benito Juárez was president. Benito Juárez was a very strong political opponent, and he was recognized as head of state by the Americans too, which didn’t help even with the backing Maximilian had from the French. There were many groups against the monarchy - and the French, which he and Charlotte were strongly tied to. He never stood a chance (read about this on your own, it’s kind of interesting).

I’m going to skip ahead a lot! In the end Maximilian got charged for conspiring to overthrow the Mexican government and carrying out the Black Decree (a law that said if you were caught fighting the empire you would be executed within 24hrs. Understand this: we had issues with the French; this is (I think?) related to the Battle of Puebla aka la Batalla de Puebla aka 5 de Mayo which is the date when the Mexican Army defeated the French who wanted to invade Mexico led by Napoleon III).

ANYWAY Maxi here got executed in 1867 (it’s okay, this I googled). If you guys are wondering Charlotte went back to Europe in 1866 and she lived a long life having survived her time in Mexico.
