like what if Maul sought out Obi-Wan's Commander shortly after O66 to get obsessive freaky closure about how Obes died (feels robbed of the kill, generally mentally ill about it, etc.) and is like "he is useless to me with all this fucking Imperial programing in the way" and does Force Stuff to break Cody's chip and what if Cody Wakes Up and goes "I can use this fucked up little guy to get to my General, who I believe survived, and then I'll just kill him easy peasy and live happily ever after with my husband" so he tells Maul that Obi-Wan is probably alive, actually, and cue a really violent road trip of them retracing Obi-Wan's steps in the hours after O66 via Imperial intel and hyper competence on both of their parts and

OH NO WHAT IF THEY START TO FALL IN LOVE like the forced proximity of it all...LISTEN TO ME. the intimacy of fighting alongside someone and having a functional partnership that's turned Dependency on both of your part's because you were both Traumatized in surprisingly similar ways (raised as a tool of violence for someone else's purpose, same guy actually!) and also have a similar goal via your mutual obsession with this one guy and actually, he's not that bad for a sith/clone, and by the time they get wise to Luke's existence and gun it for Tatooine, Maul is like "if I kill Kenobi this is going to upset Cody. you know its wrong. he knows its wrong. but its something about the wrongness of it all, the sneaking around, the secrets, the pleasure, that makes it all so worth it.

"Nurse, would you mind staying late again today? I'm going to need your help with pushing these records through to Kyoto." Doctor Getou informs you, as he peeks his head into the break room. you perk up instantly, already knowing the insinuation of his message that the other nurses clearly don't get.

"Of course, Doctor." you nod to him, meek, as if you were nervous to stay late around the very prestigious, very professional and non-rule breaking doctor. if only.

when he walks away, the nurses start to gossip, elbowing you in your side, telling you how lucky you are to be able to stare at him a little longer. that if they were in your shoes, they would do more than push records with him. that you should take the opportunity to at least let him kiss you, with tongue.

if only they knew that it was so much more than that.

"I think you like this," Getou says against your mouth, panting, his own smiling. but you can't seem to form enough thought to close your own, too focused on not sliding off of his desk that he's got you on right now. he fucks you on it hard enough that papers go flying, that his computer mouse is knocked on the floor, that the desk has scraped up the linoleum from the exertion.

"Ask me, nurse; what do I like?" Dr. Getou grabs your face in his hands when he realizes that you're too fucked out to really hear him. that's what two orgasms back to back will do to a person, especially without reprieve. he smacks your cheeks a few times, calling your name sweetly when it still doesn't bring you back down to earth.

"What," you swallow down the spit accumulated on your tongue. This tells me everything I need to know." he says with another flick of your clit, cocky, grinning all the while. and even though you try to deny it again, Dr. Getou works your body the way he knows will bring you into a puddle of nothingness in only a matter of seconds. after all, the doctor always knows best.

“Uh, yeah, I guess it was.” Buck finally responds, quickly getting out of bed and taking his pillow with him and covering himself. He feels too exposed like that, standing in front of Eddie, but he needs to put some distance between them. “It was- it was a-” his voice shakes, he feels like his body is physically trying to stop him from saying these words, “a drunken mistake. It doesn’t- it won’t change anything, right?” he finally looks at Eddie, who’s staring at him with wide, sad eyes, and Buck has no time or energy to read into it right now. “It doesn’t have to be weird.” he sounds pleading, begging, just needing Eddie to say that they can get back to normal and pretend it never happened.

“No, of course.” Eddie’s voice sounds hoarse, and he clears his throat, a faint smile on his face. “We were drunk, it was- it was nothing. Let’s just forget anything happened.” Eddie’s words sting. Buck was hoping for them, but they still hurt, and he immediately wants him to take it back, he wants to backtrack on what he said earlier, he wants to- he really needs to get a fucking grip and sort out his feelings.

i haven’t reeeeally started writing anything other than planning this out broadly because it’s very plot heavy but got a little lost thinkin about the intimacy of shaving the other day so this is from x files au in some shitty shared motel room while they’re cryptid hunting or chasing aliens idk we’ll figure it out

When he emerges, hair towelled dry and in clean clothes, Eddie frowns at him. “What?” he asks. “Promise I didn’t finish all the hot water.” “No, you just look—” Eddie gestures at Buck’s face, “—scruffier than usual.” “Oh,” Buck says, running a hand over his day-four stubble. “I forgot my razor.” “Oh,” Eddie’s face clears, “just use mine.” Buck swallows. “Um. Okay. Thanks.” Eddie nods at him and goes back to squinting at his phone, so Buck about-faces and re-enters the bathroom. It’s not a big deal, he tells himself as he foams up his face. It’s like—like sharing a hairbrush. Intimate, sure, not something you’d tend to do with people you don’t know well, but it’s not a big deal. He wets the razor and brings it to his throat, heart hammering there so violently it feels like his Adam’s apple is trying to get out. If his hand doesn’t stop trembling he’s going to nick himself, and God, he is being absolutely fucking ridiculous. Deep breath. The razor glides over the thin skin of his throat, muscle memory even as he stares at himself in the mirror. Doesn’t think about Eddie doing this every morning, using this very razor. Blade edge kissing his jaw the same way it kisses Eddie’s. Doesn’t think about Eddie doing this for him, hand holding his chin as he shaves Buck carefully, grip firm when he turns Buck’s face this way and that. Doesn’t think about Eddie kissing where the blade kissed him first. Doesn’t think about any of that when he rinses the razor clean and slots it back into the travel mug, where Buck’s toothbrush rests against Eddie’s with such easy familiarity it’s about to spark a whole new crisis.

Imagine a Kakashi x Reader where Reader not only owns a bookshop in Konoha but they also write their own novels. Kakashi frequents the store to scout out romance and erotica books or any limited-edition copies of the Icha-Icha series and every time he comes into the store the Reader falls more in love with him. So much so their stories grow inspired by him. The masked hero of a poweful village whose heart is sought by many and won by none.

One day Kakashi picks up a book written by the Reader, though the pen name doesn't give them away. He buys it and leaves only to return for more of the series. After a while though he starts to see the pattern. He doesn't want to be too vein but between a "silver haired cat with an all too familiar scar" and a "prince nicknamed the scarecrow" it doesn't take a genius to start assuming he's the muse.

And naturally he tasks himself with the mission to find the author. Like Prince Charming searching for Cinderella, going from bookstore to bookstore to find the author.

And the possibilities from there on are great.

Maybe the Reader gets sick and suddenly there's less books being written and Kakashi pieces together that the owner of the bookshop that suddenly displayed "be back soon" must be the poet.

Maybe the Reader hears rumours from other writers and publishers that Kakashi has suddenly taken an interest in them, only to start teasing him in their stories. A game of cat and mouse between words.

Maybe Kakashi simply finds the Reader writing, studying a specific scene to incorporate into their novel and instantly Kakashi knows who they are.

Ah the possibilities.
