1) people love giving teyla book recommendations! it starts with her just reading whatever people happened to bring (she borrows johns copy of war and peace and finishes it in three days) and when the daedalus starts doing supply runs, the only thing teyla ever asks for is new books. when torren is born, she gets a care package with like. 600 baby books and she cries about it.

2) 6 YEARS TO FINISH that fully totally completely checks out lmaooooo someone asks him what he thought and he's like "honestly idk i uhhhh... lost some of the plot over the 6 years of reading" he just endlessly rereads that book now <3
