Thinking about how Ninjago S2 is probably one of my favorite pieces of television I've ever watched. It flows so well off of season 1 and allows those arcs to spread and grow.
It gave us the Mega Weapon, the Stone Army, the Overlord, lore for the Destiny's Bounty, let us actually meet Zane's dad, Misako, cured Garmadon, gave Lloyd his best arc (which the movie pretty much pulled from and the show still does), still is the Overlord's best defeat,

The characters actually have interesting dynamics with each and every one of each other that allows them to truly feel like a found family with history (and both Jay AND Kai get to react to things that happen to Nya, not just her Yin),
Tumblr media
We got one of my favorite 3D-animated fights of all time,

And let's be honest, the show peaked right here (in a positive way).

god, that was an episode that was firing on all cylinders. It’s been a LONG time since I’ve laughed harder at a scene than the break room debacle.
and I really loved the heart that was at the center of this one. The abbott crew doesn’t want to punish kids for their curiosity, and they’re well aware that strict punitive measures aren’t the way to stop kids from abusing substances. Real education is about reaching out to kids. Expressing empathy. Being there for them when they’re having a hard time.
and it’s what makes this group of teachers so special and damn good at what they do.

I only have 5 episodes of White Collar left, and I don't want it to end. I need the talk of a revival to be true. I'm going to need more of my dumbass puppy criminal and his found family.

someone should write about how the two last episodes before the seige in the north are about tradition. the mechanist and master pakku, one who ignores someone else’s traditions to his own benefits and technological advancement and other who’s values a tradition that’s harmful because it stunts other peoples ( women ) freedom and ability to grow and advance.

Today's episode was just sooo good, it keeps getting better and better. I love how everything feels so natural and flowy and according to the time.
I also love how it made me tear up a lot.

Also can we talk about how it's very well known that Pai knew from the beginning Sky had trauma from something and it didn't sway him away? Yeah he doesn't know exactly what it is, but he knows how fragile Sky is with love and has been actively trying push through everything to love him 😩

okay i’ve rewatched heartstopper like a million times already and i love the scene where nick sees tara and darcy kissing at the party, i love how despite the fact that we’ve established nick is kinda scared about this whole thing he’s dealing with he sees someone else in love and goes “i want that” and automatically goes looking for charlie

It means so much to me that Eda helped Luz, her mentee, cast her first spell circle. Like Luz had figured out all the other glyphs on her own largely without Eda's help. So her help with the spell circle. It means so much

Sky has loved Jao so much and so well that Jao has grown in his confidence and his ability to love himself and the most painful part is that all Sky sees is Jao outgrowing him and not how much he's brought to the relationship.
