I feel like it's important to mention that Greg Ellis's little fit on Twitter/alt-right YouTube screed is NOT what got him fired from Bioware. He didn't get fired at all, in fact.

They had ALREADY decided to stop working with him after DAI. His meltdown after Darrah's announced his resignation was just bonus content.

Months before Darrah resigned, he'd responded to a fan tweet about being disappointed that Cullen's VA supporting Rowling (yes really!) by saying that Bioware cares about working with people who share the company values, and that would "become apparent" when the voice cast of DA4 was announced. Greg went on a rant that time, too, which nobody from BW responded to, likely for legal and/or PR reasons.

Greg's snarky response to Darrah's resignation and subsequent meltdown was a few months later. Darrah replied directly, but a bunch of the DA writers and devs who were active on twitter at the time pretty openly subtweeted about being happy to see someone finally tell Greg what a shithead he was.

My suspicion - and this is just MY interpretation - is that Greg didn't realize the call for his next Bioware project was never coming until one of those twitter convos with Darrah in 2020, and that he'd already caused enough drama or trouble internally that they'd opted to let him finish his contract out and then just blacklist him rather than take disciplinary action. I think DA was Greg-free long before the incident in late 2020, and part of his tantrum was realizing that he both was never coming back as Cullen, but that he'd been oblivious to it for ages and might have been lashing out in embarrassment as much as anything else.

Anyway, Greg being a dirtbag Rowling fanboy goes back at least 5 or 6 years, and him being an egotistical cunt goes back even further. I'm certainly surprised he voiced 12 CHARACTERS considering his range is "Cullen" and "slightly snarkier Cullen", but you know what, you work with what you have. I can't fault the wizard game for being thrifty.

Pfft okay, if people need to censor BBS spoilers, go do so! this show has been out for 3 years so there’s not much to freak out about now… but I be that person.

Anyhoo… my only critique against BBS was the handling of the Wai situation.

Wai did an entirely shitty thing and we never get a proper apology from him to Pran. We get some sort of redemption when he helps Pat but on the whole? There is no apology, no acknowledging that he did something as fucked up as outing two people to the university (yeah they were in the theatre with Architecture faculty kids but don’t even tell me that those students didn’t take pictures and post them) and when Pran does talk to him about it, Wai goes on the defensive and says that “oh he should accept the apology or else he’s the ass” which was so crazy to me??

And Pran being the person to apologize?!? WHAT THE FUCK. Pran should not have to apologize for keeping a secret that was rightfully his to keep. Yes, it is understandable that Wai was hurt. But guess what, dickhead! That thing you did? That is exactly what Pran was afraid of! And literally not a day ago in the bar, he says that he’s afraid of people finding out this secret because he’s not ready. And what did you do? You revealed his secret.

thinking about how silly my phoenix is

they are ambidextrous but prefer using their left hand (yet they refuse to write with their left hand because they don't want to smudge the ink)

they are like a cat and will knock over a glass if it's too close to the edge of a table

they never speak but will talk their head off to themself when alone

they absolutely cannot cook to save their life

they 100% dressed up like a pirate with a peg leg after they lost it

they have mixed all the energy drinks they could find in the supermarket one time because they were dared to (and they liked how it tasted despite the fact they were up for an entire night)

they're fluent in a couple languages but know all the swear words in the rest

they like messing with random people on the street using their TK-- like, they'll move a shopping trolley slightly when someone's not looking or will move a dropped note

they can drive but they are nowhere near legally licensed

they absolutely despise doctors and other medical professionals because they force them to take a break :(

they always take a small plushie with them on long missions cause they can't sleep without one

they have horrible eyesight but refused to get glasses when they were younger

their favourite colour isn't actually red despite the fact it's the only colour they wear

RAD prom picture with the twins

Belphie wasn't having any of it wanting nothing more than to go home and sleep but he's willing to support Rosella to make this night she planned and made happen a special one. Also his prom tux choice became the butt of Levi's FNAF jokes even called him the man or in this case the demon behind the slaughter. Got called William Afton once.
