I had a nap dream I met Ianthe Tridentarius’s parents and they were a completely normal, nice, and very warm Massachussets couple. They weren’t the lords of a planet, they were comfortably middle class and had a messy house. Mr Tridentarius kept a culinary garden out back. They also had a set of younger triplets aged about 9– all boys, none a necromancer, all profoundly loved. I learned that the reason Mrs Tridentarius only had children in multiples was because she knew “body magic…wink.” Mrs Tridentarius was very playfully flirty with me but I knew I shouldn’t reciprocate it because Ianthe wouldn’t like it and Ianthe was the only person who would drive me back to college (in the dream we were undergrads at the same college). All the dream I kept wondering, how did Ianthe and Corona get to be so vicious? Their childhood can’t have been the same one their brothers are having.

this would be unhinged on its own, however. pair it with the fact that the kingdom "filip" is from is MOUNT HONORA and you have a whole PILE of unhingedness. whyyyy. was it an accident on soman's part?? whether or not he meant to put it in there, this has some hilarious and some depressing implications tbh
