omg i know this is a couple days later but i found your post about the people id’ing as autistic now and THANK YOU. it legit makes me feel… i’m not sure i have words for the emotions? for context i was diagnosed with autistic disorder in the dsm-4(!) when i was a little kid (which was then updated to asd when the dsm-5 was released), so i am like, Certifiably autistic. and it’s making me feel shrimp emotions that the same people who have either outright bullied me for being autistic or who have said Incredibly ableist things if they weren’t outright bullying me (again, specifically about my autism) starting to id as autistic now. the thing is i really do think a lot of them are actually autistic but they’re so incredibly misinformed and taking up so much space online it’s making me feel uncomfortable. the amount of misinformation makes me angry—i can’t really engage with autistic communities anymore because so many of the “symptoms” and experiences described are just symptoms of adhd, or trauma, or a thing that some autistic people do but that isn’t specifically a trait or symptom of autism, and actual autistic symptoms and experiences are being uwu-ified to the point that they’re almost unrecognizable. for example, i don’t know how to explain to people that meltdowns aren’t minor episodes of mutism/crying/something you feel slightly embarrassed about having in public, they’re something where if you have one in public, there’s a good chance the cops will be called on you—they’re SCARY! and i feel guilty about saying and feeling this because i’m pro self-dx and like i said, i really do think a lot of these people are actually autistic and just subclinical or with almost negligible support needs. but i feel uncomfortable expressing this… because the same people who i’m concerned about are the same people who bullied me and i’m sure they will again if i say anything. 🙃 sorry for the rant but tl;dr thank you for making that post, it made me feel seen haha ❤️

ooo i've been watching bojack horseman recently!! i like it, it's funny and realistic, but i've heard it becomes a total shitshow (not as in it becomes a bad show, it's still a great show BUT the characters kinda stress you out)...i really like it, i've been recommending it to people! i like shows that are kind of cynical commentaries w an overlay of comedy though HAHA so if you're into that too, i'd recommend it. if you wanna watch a really good romance show, i'd recommend 'one day' on netflix!! it's like a slow burn friends to lovers, and the acting in it was phenomenal. no spoilers but i will give a heavy angst warning.

Anyways i only now finished reading svs because i’ve been putting it off in favour of reading different fics (works from other fandoms and… ooc soukoku fics. Listen i hate mischaracterisation as much as the next guy but i find them very entertaining okay) and AAAUURGGHH WHAT A BANGER. The way you write is immaculate if svs was a food it’d have a savoury taste like i’d be liking my fingers n shit. I found out about it when you posted on twitter you updated it (it was the smut chapter, by the way) and i was like “huh” and decided to read it and my god am i glad I didn’t skip over that tweet.
Idk if this was on purpose or not but verlaine is kinda cringefail in your fic and i love it. I am a firm believer that as badass as verlaine is he is undeniably embarrassing and i need MORE of that.
My one criticism for svs is that we needed more adam scenes. He should have been added like really, unnecessarily early on in the fic and act as a third wheel in the fic. But like a third wheel soukoku did not want or ask for but he’s just kinda there they can’t really get rid of him. Chuuya and dazai in their divorce arc arguing and adam is in the background thinking “i could crack a really funny joke from this” (on that note i added the lines “Adam’s blabbering makes more sense now, so they act as if nothing has happened. “When I lift this veil, you will seal the deal with a kiss.” He can’t stop himself from laughing, “I hope you enjoyed that joke too.” “We didn’t,” Verlaine says from across the shrine. “Paul be quiet.”” In my “collection of fanfic lines I chuckled at” in my notes. He’s so silly i love him. I love how he laughs at his own jokes he just like me fr.)

I'm sad to hear you had difficulties in the fandom. I tend to stay at the outskirts of most fandoms im in but i have heard the dsmp fandom can be an especially difficult environment.
It must be especially hard to deal with as a creator. In a fandom filled with young people that are in their first fan comunity and twitter puritans being a nsfw artist must be hell.
But your works really touched me, and I'm sure they touched others as well.
When i saw that English is not your first language under one of your fics it made me so motivated to work on my own stories. It's also my second language and i often worry that the fact I'm not a native speaker may be holding me back.
I'm the most comfortable writting in English but i worry i word things poorly. And reading your stories made me feel so secure. You write so beautifully.
Your works made me laugh, and the way you write second-hand embarrassment is so good i often have to put my phone down because i felt it so strongly.
It makes me think i can create too, and you also being a visual artist shows me i don't have to choose between the two crafts i love the most.
I hope you experience as much joy from creating as i do from experiencing your work.

About the whole twt drama and co... It's been somewhat annoying not gonna lie. As u said, it's the first fandom for many people and they don't know or care about the "fandom rules". I never have been in a fandom where there has been so much drama. Before this fandom I've also been more of a lurker, I'm not used to being in the spotlight like this. Kinda miss just being an unknown anon like u sometimes. But I guess I would have never met all those amazing people if I didn't have the courage to post my art and writing so I don't regret being here.

Family? What family?? Sonic doesn’t talk about family. He certainly has a biological family back on Christmas island, but he left them a long time ago and never looked back. He didn’t leave on bad terms, and perhaps he would feel a little guilty for leaving them behind if he wasn’t a ‘live life with no regrets’ kind of guy.
Being cooped up and tied down by family was never in Sonic’s style, he had adventure to chase. And besides, now he has the best found family in the world. Anyone who tries to insist that a hedgehog and a fox can’t be brothers would be catching his fists, because Sonic loves Tails as his little brother. He mainly sticks around Station Square and Mystic Ruins because Tails’ workshop is based there(the other reason being it’s just below Angel Island and one hog loves to annoy one echidna), and when he’s not off doing his ‘solo thing’ he will most likely be relaxing around there or helping Tails out in his workshop or stealing his mint candies shh.

Stress isn’t a regular for Sonic, he’s almost always laid back and going with the flow. Life is lived on his own terms, so stressers are usually cut out of the picture. If anything stresses him out to a degree he can just bounce away from the situation and never look back. However, Sonic definitely has a temper and that’s usually what causes him stress. If he’s severely frustrated with a situation he can’t do anything about then he becomes stressed, and that’s when he tends to act out.
Sonic can be mean when he’s stressed, it’s also when he tends to get more reckless than usual. He will push himself to his limit when stressed, it generally results in him draining himself completely of ring energy and becoming exhausted afterwards. He’s not the type to go around punching walls when stressed though(that’s left to Knuckles), he’ll just run himself stupid or find some bots to take out his frustrations on.
It’s really rare though. In most stressful situations Sonic can generally keep his cool.

There hasn’t actually been too many of Sonic’s adventures that have effected his mental health... Apart from losing Shadow at the end of SA2, being able to say goodbye to Chip at the end of Unleashed and potentially being tortured in Forces. I’d have to get back to everyone on this headcanon after i’ve done another playthrough of Forces because I’m still unsure how to really adapt it into my headcanons because the tone was just so all over the place.
BUT being unable to say goodbye to people he felt connections to severely effected his mental health and is why he still carries mementos of them. Sonic tries not to have too many personal possessions but Chip’s bracelet and Shadow’s inhibitor ring are two items he could just never part with. He was in an extremely dark place after he failed to catch Shadow, especially since he warned him constantly to get back to the colony during FinalHazard. Upon returning to the earth, he went off on his own to grieve and didn’t really contact any of his friends again until the events of Sonic Advanced 2(which was when he made sure he caught Vanilla when falling from the atmosphere).
He didn’t take Chip as hard because him and Chip didn’t have such a rocky relationship, and he didn’t believe Chip was dead. That was another case where he went off on his own for a little while to grieve. And no, he absolutely will not talk about the times he grieved with anyone. Sonic doesn’t like to talk about things that could be effecting his mental health with anyone, not even Tails.

The reason why Sonic generally prefers more tropical climates is because he’s a hedgehog, and hedgehog’s hibernate in the winter. Not that Ice Cap isn’t greate to snowboard down and pull off some sick flips, but Sonic can’t stay in colder climates for too long without the desire to huddle up somewhere warm and sleep creeping up on him. So when winter comes, he runs off to the other side of the planet to relax in the warmest spots.
That being said, Sonic loves napping in the sun. Catching a quick powernap under a palm tree, feeling the breeze of the ocean blow on him? Absolutely his jam. In fact, he does an awful lot of napping. It’s extremely rare that Sonic will crash into a bed for a full night sleep, instead he’s usually napping up trees or in Tail’s workshop or on top of the Master Emerald if he’s feeling really spicy and in the mood to annoy someone. Someone get force this hog into a bed, he’ll be complaining about how stiff his back is from all this napping in awful places when he’s older.

miya grumbled as he sneaked quick glances at you from across him. you were both at school eating lunch underneath a tree for shade, like you always do, and for some reason, he was acting strange and awfully fidgety ever since the morning you went up to greet him.
"alright, what is it, miya?" you asked with a sigh "h-huh?" miya jumped as he nervously sipped on his drink, avoiding eye contact as his fingers fiddled with his switch.
"you're acting so weird" you said as you throw a candy wrapper at him "you've been looking at me strangely all day" you said as you narrowed your eyes at him
miya gulped and shook his head "no way!" he denied "you're getting too confident, you slime!" he said as he stuck his tongue out playfully
you rolled your eyes and laughed at his antics, throwing another piece of wrapper at him as you tuck a strand of hair behind your ear. "whatever" you said
"and don't call me a slime, im your best friend!" you whined with a laugh. miya blushed and jutted his bottom lip out in a sort of pout. "you're still a slime if you keep acting like that.." he muttered
you raise a brow in confusion "acting like what?" you asked. "a-acting so... so.." he stammered out, looking so flustered as he tries to maintain eye contact with you, even though he could practically feel his heart palpitating.
"so what?" you asked again, this time even more confused as his face visibly becomes a brighter shade of red all the way to the tip of his ears.
"so cute!!" miya finally admitted, accidentally raising his voice a little too high, causing a few students to turn their heads.
"aghhh" he groaned out as he ducked his head to avoid their gazes out of embarrassment.
"oh.. is that so?" you cooed out with a laugh as you cover your cheeks which were heating up from the compliment.
"well, you're pretty cute yourself" you teased "even for a slime"
miya looked up and glared at you, despite his quivering lips and shaky voice he still managed to let out a small "im not a slime.."
you smile and pack away your bento, standing up on your feet and pulling him along. "im gonna keep calling you a slime if you won't stop acting weird around me" you said
"anyways, let's go. lunch is about to end" you say as you take his hand in yours and proceed to walk away. miya gulped as he stared longingly at your intertwined hands.
more specifically, your ring finger which seems to be quite bare.
"hey, y/n.." he muttered. "yeah?" you reply
"remember our promise?" he asked ".. yknow, when we were kids?"
you hummed for a moment before replying, "i think so.." you said "i mean.. i remember promising not to tell anyone when you fell into a canal when we were like five-"
"not that!!" miya shrieked with a bit of a pink tint to his cheeks "forget about that whole thing, that's embarrassing!" he whined
"then what?" you asked with a laugh "i can't name every promise we've ever made all in one go, you know?"
miya huffed and abruptly stopped in his tracks, causing you to halt along with him.
"i meant.. when we promised to marry each other." he said in a soft whisper
"miya.." you mumble as you stare at him in surprise. miya simply looked away, avoiding eye contact as his lips quiver into a small frown.
"um. yeah, i remember" you replied with a nervous smile as miya takes your hand in his and locks your fingers together.
"y/n, i think.." miya stammered out "i think i want to get married already."
you blinked in shock and confusion before letting out a sheepish laugh "haha, miya you can't be serious" you said
"we're too young, plus, you're saying that as if you like me or something" you said in a joking manner as you playfully hit his shoulder "but you don't actually like me, right?" you asked with a nervous gulp
miya shook his head and placed your hands over his chest, holding them tenderly as he stares up at you with his eyes glimmering with admiration.
"i like you a lot, y/n" he admitted "i've liked you since we were kids and-" he cut himself off
"actually, i think i love you. so um.. i wanna get married so nobody else can love you but me." miya said with a look of determination on his face as he nervously waits for your response.
"well uh.." you stammer out as you nervously look around "i.. i love you too, miya.." you finally admitted as you send him a bashful glance
miya's eyes widened as his smile turned into a wide grin. "really?" he asked with excitement
"yeah i guess" you muttered bashfully as you try to avoid his entrancing emerald hued eyes.
"that's great! let's get married." miya said as he took your hand and pulled you along as he ran towards the infamous cherry blossom tree in your school.
"miya, slow down!" you whined as he practically dragged you along while you struggled to keep up with him since he was basically sprinting.
"hurry up, you slime!" miya exclaimed with a laugh as he slows down to match your pace
"geez. you know we can get married at like 20 or 25 instead, right?" you said as you let out a breath of air
you were both underneath the cherry blossom tree. the beautiful pink blossoms fall and sway around due to the wind as the both of you lay on the grassy ground.
"we don't even have rings" you laughed as you turned to look at him. "don't worry i already have those" miya said with a cat-like grin
you watched in amusement as he dug into his pocket and pulled out two rings made of paper with small cat and video game stickers and both of your names written on the inside.
"oh gosh you actually have them" you sweat drop "ofcourse! i made these this morning and put a lot of effort so you better accept it" miya playfully scowled
you both sat up as he held out his palm, urging you to place your hand on top of it.
"my vows would be.. uh i'll love you forever and let you play my games. and i won't ever leave you and call you a slime ever again" miya muttered as he slid the ring into your finger, blushing madly as he does so.
"wow, nice vows. very heartfelt." you say sarcastically with a laugh, causing him to grumble and gently hit you with his fist.
"just say your vows, you slime!"
"you just said you wouldn't call me a slime anymore!"
"that only applies after! we're still not together since you still haven't told me your vows, slime!"
you sigh as a fond smile grazed your lips. you stare at miya through your lashes, chuckling to yourself as you see him waiting expectantly with a concerning amount of blush on his cheeks.
"my vows would be.." you muttered "that i would never leave you and i'll be with you and support you in whatever you wanna do." you said
"and-"
"that's enough" miya cut you off by waving his hand at your face, while covering his with the other. "u-um.. im fine with just that, you don't have to say anything else.." he said
you blink in confusion but agree anyways. "okay then" you smiled
miya gulped as he shakily lends you his hand, watching in astonishment as you slid the ring onto his finger.
"there, we're now officially together forever" you said with a laugh as you intertwined your hands together
"yeah." miya mumbled as his lips slowly curled into a loving smile
you gave him a smug grin as you point to your lips "this is the part where you kiss me-"
miya didn't let you finish as he suddenly tackled you into a hug and pressed a soft kiss onto your lips before moving along and pressing his lips onto both of your cheeks and nose.
"thanks for marrying me" miya muttered against your neck as he buries his face against your skin
"anytime" you chuckled. you wrapped your arms around him, causing him to sigh in satisfaction and relax against your body.
"mhhm, love you y/n" he mumbled
"i love you too miya"
"man, you'll never understand since you're too young" reki said with a smug grin as he patted miya's head to emphasise his point
"love is just too complex for kiddos like you" reki teased
miya simply grumbled and glared up at the redhead, causing reki to laugh even more. "oh yeah?" miya taunted
"well, it's not like you have a lover of your own" he scoffed "you can't flirt for the life of you, and girls wouldn't even waste their time of day to look at you"
reki let out a pained smile as he sulked over miya's harsh words. "ahahaha, those are some big words for a little kid like you" reki squeaked out with a chuckle
"tch.." miya gritted his teeth as he glared up at reki "you have no room to talk when your ethe one who doesn't have a s/o, you slime!" he exclaimed
"eh??" reki mused "why? do you have a s/o?" he taunted "i think not-"

"EH?!" now this time, everyone had let out a scream of their own. they looked between the two of you and blinked in shock.
"impossible. since when?" kaoru asked
"a week ago" you replied with a smile as you raise both of your hands to show them the rings on your fingers.
"but thats just paper-" kaoru slapped langa's mouth with his fan and smiled proudly at the two of you.
"that's wonderful. are those your rings?" he asked with a hum
"yeah. miya made them" you replied "it was really fun. the 'wedding' was a bit unexpected but its fine." you said
"the children are growing up!" kojiro exclaimed as he covered his mouth, while he wipes the stray tears of joy away.
"kaoru! the children are grown!!"
"shut up, you gorrila! you act like they're our kids." kaoru rolled his eyes. he then turned to you and smiled softly once again.
"congratulations" he said
"heh. hows that, you slime?" miya sneered at reki as he flaunts the paper rings with a smug cat-like grin.

Sure it might took a toll on him when you defeated him on the championship semi-finals, but he wanted you to be happy more than anything
