Look the showrunner called Rogue/Gambit the OTP in an interview (er...before he got fired) so they're clearly going somewhere with this and it's FINE and I can be patient and wait to see where that somewhere is and it's FINE.

ROUND 3 MATCH 32
Tumblr media
Mammon propaganda:
“He was done dirty in the first round, I hope he wins this time because he deserves it
First of all, he hates you at the start but then he starts to like you but he exclaimed his hate too much at the start so he can't admit it
Everyone knows that he likes MC, even his little D (who are demons familiars) thinks that they should date
He is a classic tsundere but doesn't actually hurt you like other tsunderes but he is so bad at hiding his feelings that everyone is just ignores it
He is the avatar of greed, meaning he is clingy which may be a turn away for some people but he cares for you so so much
He has never turned into his demon form to hurt you (Asmo hasn't but he has tried to seduce you with his power)
Don't get me started on his story cards, he literally is so cute
He wants to be a mentor to Luke, like Lucifer was to him, he is only mean to Luke because he wants Luke to learn about how life isn't all sunshine and rainbows
He is also so hot, he is a bisexual panic
He is bullied by his brothers but he cares for them so so much despite their bullying
I am so in love with him and have written so many fics about him
Anyway, I'm going to stop here because otherwise I'll be here all day”
“First friend, first pact, practically the MC's first everything, he is a major Tsundere, he holds my heart hostage, I just want to smooch him, he and MC share a room, he is such a cute little bab, he does bully Luke (a child) but it's revealed that he just wants to show Luke that the world isn't all sunshine and rainbows and want help him figure things out
He is the cutest little guy, he cares for his brother
His sin is greed so he does steal things from people but since lesson 1 he hasn't stolen anything from MC
He wrote a song to propose
Sure he is clingy but in a good way
He is so cute
He adopted a child, which he had to leave in the care of witches and willingly let's the witches extort him
There is so much that I can say about him but 1. Spoilers and 2. I don't think you want to read that much”
“OKAY SO. OH MY GOD.
First person we're able to properly romance in game. AND FOR GOOD REASON. He's had MCs back from the beginning, hes the one real one in the game. He's always trying to protect us and its so nice. Puppy boy. He's so me as well??? Like he's such a doting boyfriend it's literally so cute. When MC had to go back up to Earth, he kept breaking the rotating schedule in order to call us more. He always gets MC gifts (avatar of greed love language being gift giving im gonna collapse) and he just drops the most romantic lines out of nowhere??? Like sir are you trying to give me a heart attack. He's the secretly traumatized comic relief. He has ADHD. He's canonically queer (MC doesnt have a set gender). He even likes Head pats. Vote Mammon.”
“HE'S SO PATHETIC AND CRINGEFAIL. I LOVE HIM”
Jaehee propaganda:
“only female love interest in MM, not included in the first round for SOME REASON, you literally go off and live your coffee shop au with her at the end of her route.”
“My lesbian wife. Open a bakery with her after convincing her that she doesn't have to give up her happiness to make money. She can pursue her passions. Also her backstory is so sad and I just wanna hug and kiss her and throw hands at her "family" for making her feel like she does. Also the Valentine's dlc, you get locked in the back of the bakery with her and... Yeah that's my wife. I love her dearly. Also can we just acknowledge that she's like the only path that involves almost none of the dramatic death defying nonsense. You're just gay and in love and it's beautiful”

i said i was gonna post about it and i am. i don't think william afton hates his kids. i don't think william afton is a mad scientist that kidnapped and put children in hallucinogenic gas chambers. whatever the fuck dittophobia said about afton doing all that, plus not stopping/furthering the bullying between michael and cc, is just dumb & wrong. william wanting his kids to fight, even die, is comically evil in the "bad writing" way. him being characterized as someone who experiments on children (including his own with no regard for their lives) in order to achieve immortality or whatever his supposed motivation is, is just really... nothing? as a character there is nothing to make him feel real. in an attempt to flesh out this character, they made him into a cartoon villain with "evil" being his only defining trait. whatever, i could talk for so long about how dumb i think all the dittophobia stuff is but i think most ppl on tumblr are on the same page regarding that.
to me, william afton is best characterized as someone who, at the Very Least, Doesn't Want His Own Children To Die. he can be a shitty father all around, or he can be a genuine loving father who is also a serial killer, as long as he Cares if they Die? most of what makes william afton an interesting villain, and where a lot of people interpret his motivation comes from, is how despite all his best efforts, he cannot prevent the death or downfall of his own family. he is in a tragedy of his own making, a self-imposed hell crafted by his hubris and violence. if you take this away, why should i care what happens to him? william afton was scariest when he was just purple guy and we knew nothing. william afton is most interesting when we have all these relationships and dynamics where we can seriously study and speculate the circumstances behind/around his actions, when he has something to lose (and will lose). william afton is most stale when more things are added to his story without purpose, filling in gaps that were better unfilled or we didn't even know were there – anything after UCN, basically. bro isn't scary anymore because he's either peepaw afton who's brought back despite his story being over, or he's cartoon network's newest over-the-top villian that you can't take seriously.
okay anyway. ANYWAY. william doesn't hate his kids. even if he's a shitty father, i think he still loves his kids. why else would he try and scare his kids away from the robots if he didn't want them to die? why would he design circus baby after his daughter if he didn't care for her, adore her, even? if you believe the theory that he talked to cc through the fredbear plush (idr if that's actually canon), why would he be trying to protect/comfort him?
i don't think he's a perfect, or even a good father, by any means. if you interpret him to be on the better side, that's great and fine. i'd love to hear how other people interpret/characterize afton if you wanna share! continuing on for this post, i'm going to lay out how i personally see william afton.
to me, he is someone who is very concerned and preoccupied with his image and how others view him & his family. even if he's super shitty and awful towards his kids, he at least cares that they all look good as a family unit, that they're well behaved, that he can send family portrait holiday cards to all his business partners and investors.
he strikes me very much as the typical authoritarian parent of the 80s. harsher on his sons because "men don't cry," wants his kids to say "yes, sir," and "no, sir," believes in "tough love," often says "my house, my rules," he has the final say in everything, maybe thinks hitting them from time to time is a normal, necessary punishment. not all entirely malicious, but thinks he's doing what's best, what's right, acting like a parent and father Should act, perhaps how he himself was raised. unfortunately, a very common parental mindset (even outside of serial killers). maybe he was a little scarier sometimes though, a little more unhinged or violently angry. who's to say.
but he's still just a guy who could exist in real life. he still eats dinner with his family every night, hangs his kids' drawings on the fridge, had to turn the car around because they wouldn't stop fighting in the backseat, attended awkward parent-teacher conferences, everything. he was once a new father who happily came home with his first newborn, lost countless nights of sleep over the course of two more, loves them because they're his.
meticulously and senselessly killed children, then came home and tucked his own into bed and kissed them goodnight.
he can be abusive and still love his kids. he can be a murderer and still care for his own kids' lives. maybe the loss of his own kids is what triggered his actions, or maybe it was something else. i'm fine with not knowing because we don't need to know everything, and it's more interesting when we don't.
Something Is Seriously Wrong With This Guy And We Don't Know What or Why. when acquaintances find out he's a suspected murderer, it should be shocking and upsetting. he's such a great man and father, he wouldn't murder those kids! when michael discovers his father's crimes, he should be in denial. sure, he could be scary sometimes, but he wouldn't kill anyone... right? there's a great cognitive dissonance between who he appears to be and who he actually is.
whether william descended into grief-induced madness and obsession, or was just always some kind of freak, or both, i don't think he saw his own family as disposable. even if he didn't truly love them, he at least needed to keep up his own facade as a friendly family man. personally i like to see him as someone who was a shitty father but still loved his kids, because people like that exist, and it makes him a much more interesting, realistic, and nuanced character than if he just didn't care about them At All.

So for the longest time, I refused to think of the original Hyrule Warriors as canon. It was a fun little hack-and-slash side bit and I adore Link with his blue scarf, but I didn't actually add it to my mental timeline when it came to the LoZ games.
Then I made the mistake of thinking too much about the game and its implications on the overall timeline, especially the implications regarding the Spirit of the Hero. Stay with me on this. (Yes, it is once again time for me to put far too much thought into video games, because why not?)
Arguably, the Spirit of the Hero became entangled with everything due to Demise's Curse in Skyward Sword: "Those like you... Those who share the blood of the goddess and the spirit of the hero... They are eternally bound to this curse. An incarnation of my hatred shall ever follow your kind, dooming them to wander a blood-soaked sea of darkness for all time!" Thus the Cycle of Hatred is introduced.
In dissecting it a bit, it shows three permanent players: an incarnation of Demise's hatred, the Goddess's bloodline (note not Hylia herself, but her bloodline) and the spirit of the hero (note in contrast to the previous line, not the hero's bloodline, but the "spirit of the hero"). So we have an incarnation of a demon god's hate, a divine bloodline, and... some dude. Sorry, Link. You really got the short end of the stick here.
Obviously, he's not just "some dude," but he is a mortal tossed into an immortal war. Even as the Goddess's bloodline is mortal, they forever hold divinity within them, descended directly from divinity. Arguably, the Hero's Spirit holds some divinity itself through Hylia's blessing, arguably Farore's blessing, and playing emissary to multiple deities and powerful spirits through the games, but it relies on external sources instead of being inherent. The root of the Hero lies within the mortality of the Hero. That mortality probably provides a great deal of flexibility, as LoZ seems to follow along the popular concept that immortal beings are stuck to certain rules and mortals can go places and do things immortals can't. Biggest example is the Goddess Hylia needing a mortal Hero in the first place to fight Demise.
Okay, so where does Hyrule Warriors come into this? Because while the concept of the Spirit of the Hero comes up in multiple games, it's usually through inheritance, stepping into the role of the Hero, etc. When Cia comes into play, her target isn't the latest Hero: her target is the Spirit of the Hero itself. Not the concept. Not the implications of the role. The identity of the Spirit of the Hero. She didn't look at Link in HW and become obsessed with him: she became obsessed with him specifically because he possessed the Spirit of the Hero. It changes things a bit when looking at his character in the game.
First, there's the question of what awakens the Spirit of the Hero. In the other games, there's a great evil on the horizon -- the incarnation of Demise's hatred, which doesn't necessarily mean Demise or even Ganondorf but the awakening of an evil influenced somehow by Demise's hatred -- which leads to a Hero being born. Evil stirs, the Hero is born, Evil acts, the Hero awakens to their destiny. In the case of HW, though, the only reason Cia attacks that era is because there was a Hero present. So what sparked the birth of this Hero? If this Link wasn't born, then Cia would have targeted another Hero. Considering she was interested in the Spirit, not the person, I don't think age would have been a factor, so any of the other Heroes would be open targets. Cia didn't need to go after an awakened Hero, though. Instead, this specific Hero was born (looking remarkably like the Hero from the SS comic with his pretty scarf and such) and becomes Cia's target. So does more than the curse cause the birth of a Hero? If so, was this particular Link set up as a target? Or are the Heroes set up with specific destinies? Just Like OoT!Link is connected with Ganondorf and Majora, was this Link's soul somehow connected to Cia's? How does it work?
Which leads to the next issue: the challenges and pros inherent to mortality. In most cases, the Heroes have a choice in their destiny. Can they be pushed? Guilted? Strongly encouraged? Yes. However, in the games, one of the first things you do is choose to pick up the sword. You pick up the weapon. You start on your path. Link in almost every other scenario gets to go, "I want to save these people. I want to save the princess. I want to save Hyrule." In HW, while Link has the option to choose to fight or not, he would be targeted by Cia regardless because he was born with the Spirit of the Hero. He does choose to become a Knight and fight, though, which awakens the Triforce and puts him right in Cia's path. Pro to mortality: freedom of choice. HW-specific con: even with that freedom, being born with the Spirit put a bullseye on Link's back.
Another con of mortality, one presented in multiple games: the dangers of corruption. Link is a mortal, albeit a powerful mortal, who through his role as Hero regularly deals with divine objects. In most games, he deals with at least one piece of the Triforce and the Master Sword. The Triforce is not a symbol of good: it is a symbol of harmony: Power, Courage, and Wisdom in balance. If it had some sort of inherent morality, then someone like Demise reaching it wouldn't be such a big deal. Unfortunately, that's not the case. Link's Triforce is just insane power. Combine that with handling the powerhouse of the Master Sword, among all of the other things Link deals with, and you have a mortal who is dealing with one hell of a threat and burden. The Hero is repeatedly warned against falling to that darkness and has to fight against symbols of his darkness, ie, Dark or Shadow Link. This is a vulnerability most others won't have to deal with. He is a mortal struggling with the weight of immortal, powerful objects and needs to not lose himself to them.
Now combine that threat of corruption with the emphasis on the Spirit of the Hero which occurs in HW. With the other games, the threat is Link being corrupted. In HW, Cia's target is the Spirit of the Hero. Link's just the pretty package. If she succeeded, Link would be corrupted, but so would Cia's target: the Spirit of the Hero. There are a couple implications connected to that: what happens when you corrupt something as ancient and powerful as the Spirit of the Hero, something blessed by multiple spirits and deities and something literally older than Hyrule itself? Something which has the ability to turn the tide of battle against impossible odds? When no Hero arose once, the Goddesses responded by flooding the world. When Link slept(?) for a hundred years in BotW, no one, no matter their ability, was able to replace him. The Calamity remained unchallenged and untouched for that century, with even Zelda's powers limited to just holding the Calamity. That's a lot of power to corrupt... and that can also be one hell of a boon to Ganondorf. If not just Link but the Spirit was corrupted, how would that affect the Cycle of Hatred? Cia would have her obsession and the Spirit could not be incarnated into a new Hero to fight against Ganondorf. One hell of a win there... literally.
WW proved that if it came right down to it, a Hero could forcibly step up by fulfilling their own Hero's Journey. After all, even the initial Hero had to come from somewhere. But that would be an insane blow against Hyrule and the Royal Family. That would also be an insane amount of power available to Ganondorf. No opposition and all of the power inherent in a corrupted Spirit of the Hero. Oof.
If you view HW as canon with its focus on the Spirit of the Hero over the Hero himself, it does lead to some interesting questions regarding the role played by the Spirit, what happens if something happens to the Spirit, and the the lines between the Spirit and the Hero himself.
...hey, The Legend of Zelda and Philosophy book, why don't you focus on these questions instead of the stupid ones you went over? Bastards.

I saw someone asking why I labeled something as Peko/Buki even tho I'm a Kuzu/Peko shipper. Other then the fact multishippers exist, I didn't consider that as a Kuzu/Peko comic. Ibuki expressed more interest in Peko than Fuyuhiko.
Call me asexual but I don't think just because Fuyuhiko was close to Peko's hip, it should be considered explicit shipping.
So just to be clear on my stance, I am okay with you ppl labeling my art as any ship but there are some boundaries.
Don't label it with problematic ships like incest or age gap.
If the art is clearly about one couple, don't make it about another. But if it's just a group of ppl chilling then you can find whatever couple you like.
I personally hate Mahi/Peko but I know I'm gonna draw things exploring Mahiru's crush on Peko so that's on me if ppl interpret it that way. Just don't be weird, because I have no quams with never drawing Peko and Mahiru within 5 feet of each other. I've drawn Case 2 ten times and I've only drawn Mahiru once.
I made a list of Peko's relationship with others if you wanna know my stance on her ships.
Hajime -I will never let people forget Hajime has a canon crush on Peko. Besides that, Hajime is Peko's first true friend. Outside of Fuyuhiko, Hajime is the only person Peko feels comfortable confiding in her secrets. He doesn't judge and is very kind. Meanwhile Hajime goes to Peko when he needs a cool headed and rational opinion.
Chiaki - Queerplatonic, they snuggle a lot. Chiaki is chill and her games makes it easier for Peko who has no experience talking to people have things to relate to. Peko understands when Chiaki is emotionless for the most part and then burst into excitement when it's something she's passionate about. They developed their own little language in those situations.
Nagito - Nagito likes to take advantage of Peko’s kindness and clings to her. Peko doesn’t mind hanging out with Nagito but stares dagger into him when he’s being too forward with others (he doesn’t read social cues so he’s not gonna catch it). Nagito thinks of himself as a diet Fuyuhiko. As long as Peko provides support, he'll look out for her.
Teruteru - He's super turned on by Peko but gets flustered when she genuinely cares about him (turns out he does not have a mommy kink). Peko enjoys Teruteru teaching her about cooking so the two eventually bond over that.
Imposter - Peko’s best friend on the island. They both relate to not knowing who they’re supposed to be. At the same time, they don’t see each other as just victims. They’re both people trying to grow and become better. When these two are together some say they're TOO COOL (actually Ibuki is the only one that said this)
Mahiru - Mahiru has a giant crush on Peko. At first she believe she knows what’s best for her and tries to takes her away from Fuyuhiko. Once she accepts Peko doesn’t want her help, she tries to be happy for Peko and Fuyuhiko.
Hiyoko: Is jealous of Peko so she lashes out at her a lot. Originally it was for looking mature/sexy and gardening Mahiru’s attraction. But after she learned of Peko’s past, she’s jealous that she didn’t have her own bodyguard to protect her from the multiple assassination attacks she went through.
Ibuki: Queerplatonic, they kiss A LOT. Ibuki loves seeing Peko awkwardly cheer for her at concerts (imagine Pearl from Steven Universe type of awkward) Peko made Ibuki realize that quiet is okay. Because only when it’s quiet, she can hear Peko’s heart beat speed up. I think they would be a cute fling but these two come from two different worlds. Ibuki is a party rocking planet and Peko is a silent moon. Maybe if the stars aligned they could've made it work. But that doesn't mean you can't appreciate eclipses.
Mikan: Mikan’s ability to read micro facial expressions helps her interpret a lot of Peko’s hidden emotions. Peko likes Mikan but Mikan mistaken Peko’s quietness with secret resentment (she can read that Peko isn’t mad but sometimes mental illness makes you ignore facts). Mikan is had to get close to and Peko doesn't have the social understanding to truly know her.
Gundham: He has adopted her as his own. He feels the need to protect this person on par with his traumatic backstory. She must realize this too, that’s why she keeps flocking to him and his four dark devas. Meanwhile Peko only understands 50% of what he’s saying but she’s trying. Sonia (and Gonta in non despair AU) has to interpret sometimes. Giant Big Brother and Little Sister energy.
Sonia: Sonia is the extrovert who adopts an introvert. Sonia wants to hang out with all her classmates and one of the few who doesn't see Peko cool demeanor as disinterest. Sonia is the only one who can relate to Peko's isolation and only she knows the kind of loneliness that can come with being around others. Peko doesn't realize this on her part and it hurts Sonia. But Sonia doesn't stop trying.
Kazuichi: Scared and aroused by Peko. I head anon one time his trash picking robot accidentally took Peko’s sword and it exploded. Kazuichi was so scared to admit it to Peko but once he did - Peko was more concerned about him than her sword. He’s convinced she’s in love with him and begs Fuyuhiko to ask her out for him. Peko bluntly declines.
Nekomaru - Nekomaru passionately talks with Peko about a lot of things. At first it was Kendo, then it was training, proper diet, and it spiraled into Nekomaru talking excitably about his day. Peko is a good listener but even she can go deaf from all the yelling. Ibuki bails her out sometimes. I think Nekomaru and Sonia are the only people who know how to push Peko out of her comfort zone without overstepping. Ibuki can be too excited in getting Peko to do new things. Hajime and Chiaki doesn't see a problem with Peko doing her own thing.
Akane - The girls bond over being asexual together. No talk about love or mushy stuff. They talk with battle! At least according to Akane. Peko is hesitant to train with Akane because she believes only someone strong like Sakura could handle her blade. Akane takes that as an open challenge and tries to blindside Peko until she takes her seriously. Akane does have to learn boundaries at one point. Maybe the person who grew up in constant danger doesn't want to keep looking over her shoulders in case her classmates attack her.
Fuyuhiko - Ultimately, though everything, this blog will always be a Kuzu/Peko blog. Growing up, Fuyuhiko developed a crush on Peko but never acted on it. Only after a chance conversation with Sakura about what being in love is like, Peko realized in middle school she is in love with Fuyuhiko. By that point their relationship is strained. Fuyuhiko is constantly telling Peko he doesn't need a tool and pretend they don't know each other. Peko doesn't want to be forgotten by Fuyuhiko, this person she spent everyday with. She planned on asking him out, as equals, but then Twilight Syndrome Murder happened. There was no time for love when there was so much hate in his heart. Eventually after everything, the two realizes they need each other. Fuyuhiko only pushed Peko away because he thought she couldn't grow as a person if she was constantly worried about him. Peko realizes she can still care and protect Fuyuhiko as a fellow warrior by his side. These two understand each other so well that they don't need to talk. But this also leads to terrible miscommunications.

Tekken — Random thoughts
Tumblr media
Okay, but Nina and Jin in Tekken 6? I simply love them. Tekken 6 gave (not just me but some other people too) the foundation for an amazing ship.
A respectful relationship that started with work, and the Scenario Campaign showed their closeness and confidence, without losing their professionalism and focus on Jin's goal.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Story-wise, Tekken 6 is… interesting, to say the least. I don't know, I still have mixed feelings about the direction they gave Jin's development and what he was like since Tekken 3.
I can't say that I like that in Tekken 6 he became a war criminal and did such aberrations, when Azazel's problem could have been addressed in another way; because actually, I don't like it at all.
But on the other hand, I don't totally hate the concept itself. I just find it a little hard to digest.
What I can save (or at least try to) is that, from a personal opinion, I don't think he did it because it's the destiny of bearers of Mishima blood to be corrupted. Because, in fact, I don't think Jin was corrupted by having Mishima blood or by the influence of the Devil Gene.
I think he did everything out of his conscience. A twisted, fucked up and terrible way of doing things, but by conscience at the end. Because if we go to the fact, he always struggled and fought against the influence of the curse, and tried to keep it at bay as much as he could (in despite of his T3 and T4 endings, in T5 vs. Hwoarang, in T7 in the desert)… well, in the end of Scenario Campaign we could see how Jin consciously used the power of the Devil Gene (without turning into Devil) to defeat Azazel.
It's a bummer that they "ruined" Jin like that, but it was an interesting chapter in Tekken history.
Anyway, before starting to wander more than necessary… I know that Tekken: Blood Vengeance and the Tekken Comic by Titan Comics aren't canon either, but Nina and Jin roles in each one are a good addition for this dreamy ship (especially in the comics).
Tumblr media
And no, my point isn't that the base of the ship has to be that the woman has to do the whole work and being his support 24/7 (a thing that usually happens in the Japanese culture: the female character being just a bland sidekick with no depth and the protagonist's love interest; just as in mostly of shonens, for example), or because it's just the job she was hired for… But because both of them could relate to each other: both suffering child abuse from a close family member, both having family members they dislike, both having lost a family member they loved, both having suffered and survived Ogre's attack, and both having a mostly lonely path in life… because they know they're not the best company and their methods are very questionable.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Feelings aren't part of their lifestyle and not allowing themselves to open their hearts (because having feelings means their goals be compromised), is a fact. And it's a fact that a ship like this will never happen in canon, yet I always loved their genuine mutual trust and respect. It's far away from the Japanese culture's typical cliché of the badass lonely boy and the cute submissive girl who has a huge crush on him, is ghosted during most of the series and wants to "save" him but just meddles, resulting annoying most of times. It reminds me to someone… Wait!!
Alright, speaking more seriously now… Tekken 6 turned 14 years some days ago (especifically for PS3 and XBox, on October 30th), and this was a good opportunity to talk about an underestimated and unapreciated OTP.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm very intrigued about what's going to happen in Tekken 8, and the path of both of them when Bamco already revealed the roster's bios. Nina working for Kazuya doesn't make sense if we take into account her relationship with Jin during Tekken 6, the fact that she failed on purpose for Lars and Lee to protect Jin from Heihachi and... taking as bonus the non-canonical comics and BV.
Possibly developers will take the path of Street Fighter x Tekken's story? Nina working with Kazuya but undercover, for Jin's instructions? Because no one can deny how amazing was Jin trusting someone since the beginning, spending time with that someone and being able to share thoughts... even if it's just professionaly.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
P.s.: I feel the luckiest guy alive, since I have the privilege of writing this wonderful ship on Twitter... I mean, X. My dearest friend @carade0jete and I roleplay as Nina and Jin, respectively, since almost five years. An amazing journey that still goes on and will last until that app is either ruined or closed by El*n M*sk. Love you, bb. ♥️✨

You know, instead of making this a reblog of my post. I'm going to make it its own. This concerns this one. https://www.tumblr.com/geekgemsspooksandtoons/749080478974443520/you-know-i-just-wanna-say-this-now-i-actually?source=share
I was actually very surprised that post got some attention. I'm guessing a lot of people agreed with me. Granted, I think my criticisms could've been clearer because I hadn't seen Predators in years. And I seem to agree with certain things someone like Cordz has said. But glad people understand why I guess I don't talk much about Predators.
And I want to say this here too. You know, I totally understand if some fans aren't really into the "Space Samurai" idea with the Yautja lore in the comics. Or more so, they don't like them being similar to something like the Kilngon's from Star Trek. It's not for everyone. I can understand if some people simply want...the Predators to be all...assholes in a sense? I mean, they kill people. This is a very "Chaotic Neutral" species.
Granted, I'll always fuckin hate the idea of them being "Rich dentists" or just...watching Movie Bob's video of "STOP TRYING TO MAKE US LIKE THE PREDATOR" I still hate this video. This video is stupid. This dude didn't watch the movie right. And comparing it to Eric Trump WHAT THE FUCK DUDE?! God, I hate this video.
Dude, I feel offended watching that and I can't finish it. Movie Bob isn't a nice dude anyway, and he sucks at reviewing crap. He's also a stalker in a sense, but this isn't about him Listen, I get understand the Yautja lore isn't for everyone. I do think the best course of option or what I think is maybe a balance of the two. Or how I want to see it. Sure, there's an honor code. But maybe most of the race are basically assholes and there are few that pretty okay.
You got Diablo from the first film. Pretty much the perfect example of an "Asshole" who simply enjoys the hunt. To where I may sound crazy. But ever since I was a kid, it looks like that dude smiles a few times before and after he beats the shit out of Dutch. He's very aware he could kill Dutch so easily, but he'd rather give him a 'Fair fight' after seeing what Dutch was capable of.
And then there's Dachande from the original AVP comic who is pretty much a big contrast from Diablo who doesn't even hunt humans. Granted, it seems weird I'm using a character from a comic. But I genuinely love the idea that not all Predators are the same. The idea of them or canon thing that they are nomadic, it gives variety and makes the species much more interesting. It'd be...kind of boring if all of them were the same.
But hey, this is what happens when you make a sequel and expand a universe. Yet honestly, the idea of a species not conquering other planets, but instead choosing to hunt all sorts of species is still scary. And the idea that they are aware of what they are doing.

What's so cool about the way UT aus evolved
For many years I would draw and sketch and stuff. Not all of it was spectacular, but it wasn't bad. Yet, at some point or another I would end up ripping the drawing up or throwing it away. It was never out of malicious intent. I just did it. I don't know why either; it wasn't like I disliked the drawings.
So, I discovered the insanely large and depth-y fandom of Undertale. Pretty soon, I started reading about the star sanses and bad sanses. I put a lot of effort into figuring out the canon (fanon since none of it was canon???) truths about the characters and what was fanon (like what Blue's deal actually was). As I was reading comics I came across a alternate multiverse where Error was a chaotic child and Ink was a tired dad. In the comic (I wish I could remember what it was called so I can credit the artist) Error makes friends with these shadow creatures. They lead him to help destroy an au that the artist seemingly wanted gone. Ink later finds/kidnaps him and brings him home. Ink explains that many creators, for whatever reason, want to destroy their work. But in the long run, it's not what they want. He says that everything, no matter how "bad" it is deserves to exist. Just so someone knows it's there. Even if it isn't shared with the world, that doesn't matter.
After reading that comic I thought about Ink. He's a soulless creature seeking to feel things by feeding off the beautiful work creators and him make. I think, perhaps unintentionally perhaps intentionally, Ink is a metaphor for artists and creators (the non-canon kind). We seek validation or happiness or even any emotion from the things we and others create. We could be having trouble with finding our own emotions outside of the internet. It's okay to need to escape our lives for a little bit. It's not a bad thing if you have an idea to share at all. Helping others feel better is good too. But just like Ink we have to be careful not to let it consume our lives. We can't let fandoms be the only way we can feel. We have to generate emotion in other areas of our lives as well. We have to make sure our community isn't only online. We have to make sure that what we say online is safe, and that we are not unintentionally exposing ourselves to dangerous people.
Next, I addressed Error. He too, can be a metaphor. He reflects the opposite side of the spectrum. He is has been so hurt in the past, even if he doesn't understand how, that he feels the need to hurt others. He could be compared to a hater, but I don't like that term. Hurt people hurt people, and while that doesn't make internet hate okay or justified by any means, it can offer and explanation. People who say mean things about art (actually mean and baseless things, not voicing an opinion) are probably seeking attention. The want to fight with you because the consequences don't seem real. You have no idea what's going on in their lives, just like they don't know you. When they seek that attention, don't give it. Walk away in the metaphorical internet sense. If you need to, block them. But don't fight hate with hate. It never works. We have to love the people who hurt us or it's no use in saying we aren't like them. If you remember saying something mean on the internet, I'm sorry for you. Even if you don't believe it, there are people who love you. So, so many people.
Neither of these characters were created for this purpose. They weren't even meant to go together. But still they make a beautiful world for everyone to enjoy. So whether you are an artist or a reader, an Error or an Ink, whether you are like me or not, we built this sorta by accident, so let's appreciate how cool it is.

Writing from Hobie's perspective about ATSV is actually super interesting because he has like, zero of the context we do from ITSV. Like, about the dynamics between the characters.
Like, Peter B? Wonder what Hobie thinks about him. Like, okay. There's Miles and he hasn't been allowed into the Society yet because "canon" and these people he's very close friends with haven't deigned him important enough to contact anyways. Okay. That's not looking good.
Now, Gwen Hobie has some context for. She's stayed over with him canonically, he probably knows she was kicked out and her dad tried to arrest her. She doesn't have options outside of the Society. Frankly, they have a concerning and incredibly messed up amount of control over her. (Also that's a perfectly valid reason to hate Miguel, especially since Hobie has a predisposition against authority figures like that. How much Miguel's motives are understandable is also entirely irrelevant in this case.)
So, Gwen didn't contact Miles. Or she did, but only very recently and it immediately spiralled out of control. But it makes sense why she didn't try to reach Miles. It makes sense because she literally did not have a choice.
Peter B on the other hand? That's the only other OG ITSV-gang member Hobie gets to know, from what we see in canon. He's obviously also close to Miles and they mean a lot to each other. But he, too, kept Miles in the dark about everything. He's trying to stop Miles from saving his dad.
Peter B isn't a special case within the Society. Basically everyone is ready to put canon over saving actual lives. But this guy here should have another motivation. And he has nothing stopping him, really. He isn't dependant on the Society. He doesn't rely on them, he can live without them. And still he chose not to visit Miles.
Now it's a bit more complicated than that (and also we're moving into headcanon territory).
"It's not that simple" is easy to say. Peter B has a baby and has to take care of her first of all. He has responsibilities. He's acting according to what he thinks is the right thing, he believes in canon, so why shouldn't he wait a few months and then comfort Miles and help Miles and do all the proper things to do without endangering an entire world or even the multiverse? It's not good, it's not easy, but in the grand scheme of things it's the only right thing to do. Right?
But now we have Hobie, who thinks a lot more than he lets on. He literally built a dimension watch, okay. He's a punk. This guy is smart as shit and he questions everything, especially when it's portrayed as a universal black-and-white truth, especially when going along with that universal truth keeps you in line and just following what the power structure - in this case Miguel - wants you to think.
He's an anarchist. He's a punk. He fights the system. He fights against societal norms - against the society of his home world just as much as the Spider Society. It's a horrible place he comes from, we know that, and community, the punk community, leftist community, whatever, it's the only thing he can likely actually rely on. Okay, headcanon territory, but we're still very close to ATSV and comic canon, I think this is more than reasonable. "If you don't control your government, people want to kill you." (- Anti-Flag). He has canonically killed cops and in the comics it was also the literal president.
If you don't look after your people, your friends, your community, then what are you doing? That's all you have. Community is the core principle of everything. Survival in a world that tried to kill people like you. Being strong enough to fight against that system and bring about change. You can't do any of this alone.
So, whether a rule from above makes sense or not - and this whole canon thing feels dodgy as fuck anyways - friends go first. Friends before government, before absolute rules with no room for any shades of grey.
I think, with what Hobie was able to think and see in ATSV, he wouldn't trust Peter B. At all. This guy chose the rules over a friend. He chose conformity over community. That's the people who enforce the government's rule even without being cops themselves. That's the ones who make the world worse through inaction.
If Hobie was in Gwen's shoes, I think he'd have gone after Miles regardless, but - and this is headcanons based on the comics, but it adds up okay - but Hobie never had the chance to fit into a system in the first place. He never would have been accepted, never could have kept his head down if he tried, or he wouldn't have ended up the face of a revolutionary movement. Comics Hobie evidently didn't give a shit about consequences when they stood up against Osborn and the Venom cops. "I'm a radioactive suicide machine" - he wasn't in a good space of mind, but I think the attitude fits. Fuck consequences, fuck the future you might never even see, what matters is that you do the right thing for as long as you can, and that might be just now and never again. ("That's the way I like it baby, I don't wanna live forever.")
Gwen doesn't think like that and she's scared and drifting and dependant on the Society. It's not the right thing, maybe, but it's somewhat understandable. She's a kid who just lost everything.
Peter B has no excuses.
I mean, every character acts in accordance to what they think is right. They all have a point, in their own ways. That's honestly the beauty of the spider-verse films - there's no paper cutouts, all those characters have their own motivations (all understandable in their own right), and the conflicts are natural.
And it's so so so fun to actually get really deep into Hobie's perspective to explore all of this.
(Also anyone, feel free to add on or anything really, i just pulled this out of my ass but it's so interesting sdkjcsncdhbaks)

I adore Asami, she is perfect! Beautiful, intelligent, reliable, hardworking, and more giving to her friends than they deserve (not always, but I am still mad at how she was treated in season 1)
Iroh is also perfect, but not as much Asami, you know, he had never got to act against his father, never been put to that situation (and I think he would have choose to do the right thing, as Asami did)
Sometime I think, what if Asami wasn’t that perfect for being around Korra‘s team? Like what if she had a problem that didn’t let her to be physically strong? And be involved that much in team avatar, like if she had a chronic pain in her leg? What if her other strength would have attracted more attention? Like her resilience? More feminine kindof strength (I think Pema has it and is really underrated in the comics)
What if Iroh would have fallen in love with her (or had been attracted to her) because of her more feminine side?
I sometimes get the feeling if a character is not a badass in combat, their other strengths are not taken seriously…
By feminine strength I don’t mean things like self sacrifice or anything that might get unhealthy, I mean things like nurturing spirit, in this category 😁 I hope my babbling is not very unclear😁😁
This is super sweet. I love Asami very much, too. It's also the reason one of my favorite things to give her are flaws.
Asami (like many female characters) is often accused of being a flat "Mary Sue" who is good at everything and seemingly perfect. She's rich, intelligent, gorgeous, courageous, caring, giving, brave, forgiving. She's a skilled fighter and fashionable and can build a sand sailer with spit and duct tape. Literally nothing wrong with her. Which has the danger of making her uninteresting or only useful as a love interest - which is often what the fandom does. She's been reduced to the "and girlfriend" role and I hate that for her. It's one of the big reasons I don't like Asami's canon ships.
But like you said, there is so much we don't know that could be going on beneath the surface. We don't even have to change canon for that. Asami is squeamish - she's the only one who spits out Gommu's soup. She's got a bit of a temper. She doesn't seem to have friends or family as shown by her going out of her way to make friends with Team Avatar even after what happened with Mako and Korra because she's got no one else. How lonely and isolated must her upbringing have been? Then there's everything canon can't disprove. It's likely Asami is inexperienced in both relationships and sex. I write her as disorganized and a terrible cook. She has a ton of baggage from her mother's death and her father's betrayal and even Mako that carries into her future relationships. She loves pro-bending but isn't a bender and that's always hurt just a little. It's just as possible she has chronic pain she doesn't show.
Because Asami comes through for everyone. Want my boyfriend? Okay. Need a ride? Sure. An airship? Here you are. Kidnapped? I got you. Trapped in the desert? No problem. Training dummy? Wheelchair pusher? Driving instructor? Your team is out of money? Wanna live in my house? Asami is so desperate to be included and the only thing she can think to do is give, give, give. I like to think at some point she just stands in the shower and screams. And I don't think if Asami was worse at fighting that would change. She'd find a way to help because that's what she does.
Anyway, I actually think General Iroh does fall in love with her because of these softer qualities. Yes, Asami is beautiful, but what Iroh wants more than anything is an equal who will love him for who he is and not for his title or wealth or family name. And he's looking for that inner strength Asami has. In longer stories like AWOL or Severance or Starvation Paradise it's always Asami's resilience, her treatment of him as an equal partner, and her tender care that make Iroh truly fall in love. She's someone he can rely on, not to give give give, but to be his other half no matter what.
Which is why this is the best ship. :-D

May I ask about your Jason Todd idea? <3
Hm, okay so. How to lay this out sensitively since I know it might be a tad controversial...
Prefacing by saying I'm not an expert on the minutias of Jason characterization. I like him when he appears, I think the battle for the cowl/Morrison era and some parts of modern era for him are Weird and Bad, but I'm not Jason scholar (for that I'd say maybe check out @/tumblingxelian and their great video essays), I'm just trying to think of what might be an interesting step forward for him.
First, the canon facts
Jason got lobotomized and has panic disorder on steroids. By the end of Gotham War (specifically when Jason was. Flying the batplane into the asteroid. God I can't believe that's the plot) he was finding it in himself to power through said panics
In Joker: The Man Who Stopped Laughing #12, the joker gives Jason a "low dose" of joker venom, which has an ambiguous effect on Jason, allowing him to power through the fear (which joker explicitly states is still very much present, just not physically debilitating, like when Jason couldn't run over in either Catwoman #57 or #58, the one with the kid in the building) even though he'd been able to do that sans venom over in Gotham War, like I previously stated.
The effect of said joker venom seems to be lingering for now, minus the creepy grin side effect it gave Jason over in that man who stopped laughing issue, as seen in the latest batman issue (number is escaping me rn, #147??). He still has the stutter which is a shorthand for fear, he's drawn with fearful expressions by Jorge Jimenez, but he says that he's "working through it" thanks to the chemicals
This is both super interesting and kind of maddening as it doesn't completely remove the consequences of what happened in Gotham War, but is trying to sweep them under the rug and get back to business as usual. I, however, propose making said consequences front and center like a fashionable urn on a mantle piece:
Since it's never stated how exactly the joker venom works, and I think the current answer is "it works how the story needs it to" I've decided that because it's a low dose, it eventually wears off. And when it wears off, Jason's back to square one in terms of mental state. Ergo, if Jason doesn't want to live the rest of his life as quaking shivering husk of his former self...he's going to need more.
(read more for the meat of things)
So, Jason self medicates for a condition given to him by the father he has endlessly complicated feelings towards with a cure invented by a man who represents everything he hates in the world who once tried to take everything from him.
Which, insert poetic cinema gif here, I'm quite proud of myself for that one.
Anyway, there's a lot of directions you could take this. Personally I think it'd be interesting to explore Jason trying to get back into the drug trade like he did in UTRH (FULL TRANSPARENCY I HAVEN'T READ THE FULL COMIC, I KNOW BROADSTROKES BUT IM NOT GONNA TRY AND MAKE PARALLELS) as he tries to use the resources (production plants and other drug runners who can hook him up with samples of joker toxin/similar stuff you can probably find around Gotham) to manufacture his own cure that means never having to go back to the joker again. Maybe he ambushes a joker toxin chemical production plant to get his own supply, and then Jason uses this as his foothold back into that world.
This isn't necessarily me saying we should regress Jason alll the way back to UTRH, that was before his anti-hero era and I'm not willing to fully shoot him back into the past. I just think that's not how you tell good stories in a medium like comics. But it'd inherently be a little different just bc he's doing it for different, slightly more self motivated (depending on your take on villain Jason) reasons and the people around him would have a different reaction to it.
Anyway, all sorts of problems can arise! Depending on how you wanna characterize Jason (wayward son who longs to be back in the fold or black sheep who doesn't play by daddy's rules, etc) he can either a) try and hide this criminal enterprise from his giant family full of nosy detectives (good idea there jay) OR do it out in the open, trying to justify himself but still putting himself on the opposite side of the family again (not the law bc that boy hasn't been on the 'right' side of it since he died)
There's also the fact that Jason now needs to take something 24/7 in order to live his life. He essentially can't be without it, he's dependent on it, in fact he'd get sick without it despite any adverse effects it may have on him (which are guaranteed, I mean. No clinical trials)
I imagine it'd be easy to become addicted to it in some way.
And uh. This is the part where it works slightly better as a fanfic pitch than an actual comic pitch. Because as much as I think it'd be such an interesting beat for Jason's character considering his fraught history with addiction and drugs (looks away from that one urban legends story where he suggests terrorising addicts to get to the suppliers and bruce lectures him. The easiest way to make Mr "we don't sell drugs to children" sympathetic and you beefed it)
I also fully recognise that this is a sensitive topic that DC doesn't have the best track record with (although addicts aren't a monolith and feel a number of ways about addictions portrayals in comics) and that there's probably some pitfalls inherent in the premise, namely bc of Jason's background as an impoverished kid and his grey morality, and how those play into stereotypes of addicts. Addiction is already such a misunderstood and stigmatized condition that I imagine playing with it with an antihero might be enough to turn some people off. Addiction is not a moral failing and I'd hate to write it as a moral failing of Jason akin to his willingness to kill, etc.
But with all that said, I think that stereotypes are primarily harmful because of their shallowness. They inhibit understanding of groups labeled "other" by presenting them in simplistic ways that don't portray richness or complexity. And I think a truly good red hood comic could give both sympathy and complexity to Jason, even as an addict. If anything, Jason is a popular character (mostly) and there could be something nice about seeing a main character go through what you're going through, gritty details and all. YMMV (can we bring that back btw?) and it depends on execution. There's a lot of ways it could go wrong, but seeing as it just lives as a hypothetical rn, I think there's also a lot of ways it could go. I mean, not right, it's a downer story beat for Jason but it's mostly meant to be interesting and a vehicle for more stories as Jason navigates it, ya know?
Anyway, I have a lot of spiels littered in my notes app and discord DMs that elaborate on all this (how this could work as act 1 in a broader Jason story where his little operation goes to shit and he has to hit the road (jack) and maybe do some character development for better or worse. I'm a sucker and wanna say better- not squeaky clean better but. Yknow, finding himself to an extent. I recognise I'm a sap and a fool tho. Or how a new outlaws team could factor into either of those eras (since I do like Jason with an outlaws team. It gives him an excuse to exercise his compelling relationships and dynamics with other characters without having to constantly tip-toe around the elephant in the room whenever he's with the batfamily all the time. He just needs a good lineup) but that's all for another time
... though without elaborating on the vision in my head it kind of just sounds like my pitch is "Jason gets addicted to his hyper-anxiety medication" BUT I SWEAR ITS MORE THAN THAT.
It's like. If Jason has struggled as a character (and this is very subjective on my part so feel free to disagree) because he has compelling relationships with all of the batfamily, but also has compelling grey morality that makes it hard to capitalize on those relationships, without the conflict always coming to "Jason stop killing!" "Nuh uh!" OR just being ignored, and the main way writers have addressed this is via reboots instead of arcs...
Then giving Jason and the bats:
real, legitimate and fresh reason for jay to be mad at Bruce (taking their relationship of love with very little understanding to it's most dramatic conclusion)
give the family a real reason to want to bring him back into the fold (feel bad about the lobotomy and it would be pretty immoral to let Jason waste away slowly and painfully because of something Bruce did)
capitalize on all the ways Jason is sympathetic (bc the addiction is a natural lead into his backstory, which is one of his most sympathetic elements)
And the ways in which he's very out of step with the bats post-resurrection (I'd be mad asf too if i came back to life just for my dad to a) not avenge me and b) LOBOTOMIZE ME meanwhile the cunt ass clown giving me my meds is just lurking out there).
Idk it's not a sophisticated pitch as of this moment but I think a real chef (writer) could cook something w/ this

Hiiiii Soupster, saw the silly character thing : )
Bumblebee - 3, 12
Starscream - 2, 25
& 20 for both hehe xoxo
HIII YIPPEE THANK YOU!!!!! (double thank yous bc i get to obnoxiously destroy this post with so many words)
Bumblebee
3. Least favorite canon thing about this character?
oooh some people may not like this answer because yikes but i straight-up hate how muteness becomes his character trait. Prime is the most guilty of this, the Bumblebee movie takes second place. in Prime, he can still talk and most bots and even humans can understand him - so what's the point?? if you only have this as a clutch for a character and personality, then i'm sorry, but it comes off as shallow. he's supposed to look like a child soldier burdened by war, but it's not a personality: beyond that, he's sometimes a kid, sometimes arrogant, and sometimes badass. add "being mute" and "disabled", and it becomes really weird. why can't he use other methods of communicating? i don't know and it actually makes me frustrated
same thing with the Bumblebee movie. he doesn't have any personality except "cute", "childish" and "mute". it is a bit better because he expresses himself through his actions and body language rather than a language everyone knows, but at the end of the day his traits are very shallow. and i am very sad and bitter about this
12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?
hehe too many 🥰🥰 no not actually too many i'm rather bad at headcanons, so mostly for TFE
he's a "medic" to the Terrans, has first-aid training and helps them if they get hurt, but anything serious he's unable to treat
body dysmorphia, because look at him in ep 12 and tell me he doesn't have any opinion on JB's comment, i dare you
he wasn't sparked (forged??) during the war and he had some time to live on a normal Cybertron before it all went caput
and there aren't any particular ages in cybertronian biology to track of, so i can very hardly ever call him a child soldier, but he does fit the boxes so... shrugs (there's an overdue post from me which analyses the times he did show he was a "child" during war, but i ditched it in early stages because i would grasp at straws a lot and there isn't enough evidence. still a fun thought)
Starscream
2. Favorite canon thing about this character?
I LOVE THAT HE'S A SCIENTIST i can't help it. i always believe that every character has to have a hobby (i guess relatively racing counts for Bee since he does enjoy it), and in other continuities i don't see Starscream having anything to do other than to scheme and backstab, so i absolutely adore whenever in G1 (which is only two times i believe BUT STILL) he does science. it would make sense! he's smart! he has to do SOMETHING before the war starts. absolute chad
25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now?
OH MY GOD LMAO i didn't think of him much when i first watched Animated in, like, 2022, but then, when i came back into tf-watching, after TFE i went for a hunt on other tf-related media. Starscream didn't entice my interest much except in Prime and Animated, but then, silly me, i learned of the comics, specifically RID and TAAO. there was no coming back from that one LMAO i really liked him in the comics and for a long time i had felt like it was one of the only truest characterisations of him
besides the meta stuff, i used to think he was just evil and selfish and i didn't care much for him, but i've grown since then lmao and i have an eye out for anti-heroes and villains now (i did used to think it was black and white, tf changes people istg). now he's a blorbo i constantly pick at but surprisingly have never written a centered piece yet. i should. he's fun. i think i just don't like writing characters with depression (sorry)
20. Which other character is the ideal best friend for this character, the amount of screentime they share doesn't matter?
I MEAN. STARBEE RIGHT. YEAH? okay. (they're two halves of the same coin and Bumblebee always tries to peel back Starscream's layers while he's afraid of letting others know the real him and in turn Starscream lets Bumblebee be angry and snarky when he wasn't allowed to in the past DO YOU UNDERSTAND-)
but also i think Bumblebee's friendship with Hot Rod/Rodimus from any universe is really nice, i feel like they have this cute bond of being young and reckless sometimes. i wish idw didn't do them so dirty with their competitiveness or whatever thing they had. they really seemed to get along in Cyberverse. ALSO of COURSE his friendship/brotherhood with Breakdown in TFE, because they're so touchy and affectionate with each other it makes me wonder a lot about their past together and what exactly tore them apart considering they were so close. ghaaa the horrors of war!!!! its the oldest trick in the book and it gets me every time
for Starscream - absolutely Skyfire/Jetfire (i like the Skyfire name more and i don't know why). G1 is so big-brained with how they treated these two. if they are a couple - i absolutely adore it and i don't usually mind when they're paired together instead of starbee, because i can see it too. they have great chemistry (lmao that's a science joke) and i'd love to see more of them in other media. just get him away from Megatron plz

Here is my rewrite of Mega Man Fully Charged kids cast !
Aki (Aki Daisan Light) :
- Aki's motif to become a hero would be change, from "doing it because it's right" to "I do it for my family, so they would live safely in this city I call home."
- a hopeless romantic. Keep getting rejected by previous crushes, the last one is Ashley.
- unintentionally troublemaker, like pulling jokes and gives sarcasm, never intended to be mean.
- He is an outcast, only true friend is Bert, Ashley is close, the others are just okay with Aki but never get close to him. Only a few get near for his family name or short interest in him.
- cares deeply about family and friends, like to welcome new friends and family (loves new found family trope/member)
- likes to do sports or dancing when bored. Likes video games and comic books. Likes collecting comic books and special editions posters. Have a collections of retro and indie games, also famous games.
- likes to learn string types instruments, guitar, cello, violin, harp. Aki can only practice guitar since he is busy and he can't learn all of it, so usually learns it from viewtube (youtube). Hates to play brass and woodwind instruments because it's take too much effort and breathing. The best at percussion instruments (instruments like drums).
- when he practice his singing voice, he can sing very well, but isn't confident onstage.
- never let him near the kitchen for cooking, Aki is horrible at cooking. He is good at cleaning when he wants to.
- practice his combat skills at free time because being a hero is important, also start to practice more since Lightfall incident.
- have trust issues after so many event went down in canon, not woodman level issue but still an issue.
- practice martial arts a year before the show event, practice many kinds of judo, taekwondo, and jujitsu. He learn all of it fast.
- collects various kinds of jackets, vest, and shirts with T-shirts, almost any kind of outerwear. Suna often borrow it or his friends would. Kay-kay steal his jacket sometimes.
- really friendly and outgoing kid and can talk to other kids since he understands some of the topics they talk about, usually trends. Aki is more connected with the nerds or geeks about his favorite comic books or games, he keep it a secret so he doesn't get more teasing, Bert is the only one Aki can talk freely with.
- Aki had another best friend than Bert. He was Jake Blake, rival and best friend. They used to spare match a lot and still hang out, even when Bert doesn't join in the match, Aki  and Jake always have Bert around, they were best friend. Until an incident happen to Jake because of Aki recklessness and it make Aki felt Guilty. Ever since then, Jake family moved to another city and left Bert and Aki, Aki was ridden with guilt, Aki never practice martial art ever since until the show begin.
Suna (Suna Daichi Light):
- absolute tech witch, girl can create various tech but it cost too much time, she could spent months on a project to finish, her longest project '0' took 1 and a half year to complete.
- can rock a goth and Lolita style clothes but for special occasions only, she usually wear sporty types for work and daily life.
- she had a crush that died of dementia, her name was Iris. A girl with soft light brown hair, soft emerald eyes, and fair skin but frail body, Suna absolutely understand how hard love can be for Aki after Iris death, Suna manage to date Iris for awhile before Iris death so the memory turn bittersweet, Suna keep all of Iris's gifts and photos in a lock box with a locket key she made specifically for that heart box for her Iris.
- she wanted to be a ballerina but now she wants to be a fighter for her family, she start to practice her offense fight skills with Aki as her sparing partner but still practice ballet, turns out she can combine both movements to her advantage and make more damage with that.
- A skilled ballerina and have won a trophy or two on a ballet competition. Everyone think Suna is beautiful in her ballerina outfit on stage.
Daini (Tsuki Daini Light):
- forced to endure high training and many pain for years, he became numb to his wounds and scars emotionally and physically.
- he was a good bright boy but being raised to be a weapon can tool a toll on anyone. Have anger issues because of neglect and abuse.
- wanted freedom for a long time but realized he will wasted years of pain for nothing if he didn't become the "robot liberator" Night promised him to be.
- wants pets but you know his conditions.
- he may seems stronger than Aki but it was because he always gave his best and pushed his limits too often to the point he is easy to be exhausted.
- can't have a break at all.
- even after the truth is revealed, he just can't heal his issues.
- things will go up for him, eventually.
- he rename himself as Daini without looking up the meaning, boy would he be mad at himself.
- gets adopted by hypnowoman and gets free healing therapy for a while.
- managed to find a part of Silicon City called  Rusty Silica. That town is the first version of Silicon City and a hidden part from history.
- he meet his new Mini, Tiny. Tiny is a mechanical in the town and start helping Daini for all the years worth of damaged he gained from hard-core training.
- after skullman fight, he returned to Rusty Silica and save Tiny before his home collapse on him, so from then on Tiny live inside Daini system cause boy system is jumbled up he is lucky to still function normally.
- start to pet many animals, small robots include scavengers (from comic) those little pets start following Daini’s commands and treat him like he is their beloved owner.
- gets a robot cat name Tango and scavenger name Scavy.
Bert (Robert Wily):
- Light kids first friend and most dependable and trustworthy person in school, unlike the rest of his family.
- Bert have always been a kind soul to everyone, cheerful young lad despite all the hatred thrown at him. Bert always believe to be kind and brave like heroes. Bert watch too much hero movies which give him his heroic moralities and his mother parenting style that help Bert to become the sweet boy he is in canon.
- Bert father is always absent in his life, even when that man was at home, he never care for the family other than give them financial support. Bert always hoped his father would be proud of him but he lost hope.
(Bert father had a chip in him that was planted by Dr. Wily, the chip cause Mr. Wily his lack of emotion, so Mr. Wily cut of Dr. Wily from his life for the safety of his wife and son. He was enraged to find out Dr. Wily manipulated Bert to like him and there's nothing that Mr. Wily can do about it.)
- Dr. Wily is the only father figure he have to replace his absent father. Little does Bert know, Dr Wily always have and ulterior motive for his needs.
- Bert became Aki's best friend every since day-1. Bert parents were uneasy by this at first but Bert's mother welcome Aki with an open arms after knowing the robot boy, Bert's father just ignored Aki present, the man was indifference by his son's friendship with a robot.
Ashley Adderley:
- lives with her parents and her uncle who is a robot master name plantman, she lives in an upper class apartment and have her own project room. Her dad owns the apartment.
- her dad is rich cause he is a manager of sky corporations and is a smart businessmen, unfortunately he doesn't come home often and lives next city.
- her mother owns a Cafe as manager and owner, she have a co-manager, even when she do this for hobby of cooking and decor. She make recipes so her chefs can cook it for the customers, the Cafe only opens 5 days a week on weekdays, but would close if she have a family plans and husband is around.
- her uncle works at a flower shop and sells pretty bouquets with so many colorful and unique flowers, even sells rare ones. He published two books, the first is about flowers and their histories also their maintenance, the second is about how to make a garden flower and how to make that hobby profitable.
- since all adults have their own business to do, sometimes when their are distracted they leave Ashley alone at home which gives her more privacy and time to find some parts for her project.
- she could leave the house locked before leaving and then when to shops, robot markets, if she is brave enough she would go to the badlands.
- she never stays out for long and always comes home before noon around 4.
- hang around libraries and her mom's Book Cafe more often.
- read heavy literature, science history books, robotics books, but also likes some teen novels.
- her high intelligence and curiosity makes her bored of the knowledge she gains from all media and school history that make her decide she wants to dig deeper into a more uncensored or true versions of history that peak her interest more that what all media showed to public.
- she start to learn all the ways to hack into illegal systems and info that she would bring to her grave if the knowledge is forbidden.
- Not only knowledge she would seek on illegal sites, she would gather info of some robotics part that she can study to make or buy at a local robot market, most parts are used robot master's parts.
- in her own project room, she is in a deep process of creation her own first robot master but keep failing because none ever active normally like a functional robot, it keeps blowing up. Instead, she makes a robotic suit.
- truthfully, she was a lonely girl. At elementary, Noone bats an eye at her, she doesn't have many friends, and had a bully that belittled her. So she showed to everyone of what she can do, it worked, Ashley then became popular at her elementary. Until she got humiliated at a science fair in front of everyone at school when she was at 5th grade. She changed school when she became a preteen and have her middle school at Silicon Central.
- at her first day, she stumble on Suna and Aki because they were searching for their class. To Ashley utter suprise, she sits with Suna as her new classmates. They talk with each and get along fine, so for the whole year they became and Suna invites her to her house, introduced Aki her robot brother and told her his is in her class with his best friend Bert Wily.
- so from then on, they become friends the rest follows the canon show.
- Ashley parents aren't always around so she can handle chores herself when none of her guardian are home.
- love it when she is home alone. She isn't home alone often so its an opportunity for her to be as wild as she likes.
- she test her inventions outside on the rooftop or at her project room if she wants to be safe.
- her apartment rooftop is own by her uncle Plantman and use as a green house for his flowers. Ashley often goes there if she wants to be alone or she wants to see the view, like seriously the sunset and dawn is gorgeous at there.
- wears and use a lot of safety protocols when she do a test run.
- only Suna knew about this and is a great secret keeper. Also she is Ashley trusted partner for her projects and vice versa.
- Ashley have a dream to be up on space, but she changed her dream to be the greatest scientist instead because she lower her expectations before her dream fall over.
(- Mr. James Adderley is actually a secret police working for the government agency to protect both human and robot lives and prevent war or tragedy from happening.
- his work as a manager is a cover up.
- he keep track of all the city incident and have his eyes on Wily and Light. Unfortunately, if he wants to arrest them, he needs prove of their crime.
- feel terrible for keep missing his daughter birthdays and breaking his promises to her for his work, he will mend his relationship.)
Chaotique/Felicia Fou/Felicia Quickster/Felicia Tops:
- Chaotique have another name which is Felicia. Like Aki and megaman, Felicia is Chaotique "human" alter ego
- this girl had a family of 5 older brothers, 2 older sisters, and a father who love his kids a lot.
- all of her older siblings are overprotective of each other, their dad is worse especially after being lock up by the government for "breaking the contract".
- was created for war but her dad can't help but making her a bit more humane than her siblings.
- had brown hair at first but she dyed it later.
- worked with Blue Bomb around the Hard Age, unfortunately her memories got wiped after her family attempted escape from war.
- get deployed to Lyon in France and layer adopted by Plum (robot News reporter) and Quickman (Japan-France speedster military bot). Her new name is Felicia because she looked so happy and energetic, also she forgot her real name.
- She lived in France for 5 years until a virus outbreak that force her to be separated from her mother and watch her father died by the robot zombies. (She despise zombies ever since and hates any zombie related movies.)
- she evacuate to Canada and lived in an orphanage, they thought she was a cyborg and she look more human than robot so she have to lie about being a human even though she start to despise human but it was still small hatred.
- enrolled to a "elite" school academy for her athletic skills, she was ecstatic but it turn to regret.
- no one at school respect her due to her having robotic parts, except for some group of social outcast artistic girls who bring Felicia to their group. The group consists of one robot girl and 2 human girls but one of them have realistic prospetics arms cause the girl was born without arms.
- the girls have a lot of fun with each other, they do pranks, art, karaoke, sleepovers, and heart to heart talk where they can pour their emotional baggage and they will support each other through thick and thin.
- a tragedy happened at a school talent show, an envious girl bullies Felicia and her friend, the bully have sabotage the stage and although Felicia team manage to won after getting sabotage the bully didn't stop her harassment toward both girls until an electronic panel get caught on fire. The fire spread to the whole room and Felicia almost lost her friend if she didn't save her with her superspeed. Unfairly, the bully paint the accident as Felicia fault so she got expelled from school and the accident gets covered for the school "good" name.
- Felicia gets adopted again by Topman (robot dancer, traveller and ex-soldier). Felicia happily accepted if that means to get out of her bad situation.
- while traveling with her new uncle, Felicia discovered her powers more and learned how to control it, with the help of Topman she became the speedster she is now.
- she then remembered her old name which is Chaotique so she settled with 2 names.
- wherever city she and her uncle stop by, she start to do pranks to lighten up her mood.
- she and her uncle arrived in Silicon City 3 months before the show event begin.
- she is an absolute dancer because of her uncle teaching so her uncle open a dance studio for people of all age to learn dancing from beginner to expert level. Chaotique is in expert level but help her uncle as his assistant.
- she attended Silicon Central but she is often absent for 5 months for the 1st semester. She is supposed to be the same class as Aki but she was smart enough to cheat (still studies) on an intelligent test to determine her grade level and land on a high score without being caught. She end up in Suna class.
- really great with navigation and mapping her surroundings, she is friendly to other robots and some kids regardless of species, people around her living area notice her as a good girl, ironic isn't it.
- her uncle can only afford a standard apartment but it was good enough for Chaotique, she loves to decorate her room to her liking and have many DIY stuff, thanks to her old friends.
- she doesn't buy clothes unless it's necessary, she often thrift clothes for girls styles, she own some clothing and her uncle would buy pretty dresses but she just keep it so it's still brand new.
- steals many things for fun or prank materials.
- DIY most of her pranks or collections (charms, accessories, or normal gadgets)
- best skater girl and wins a rolling derpy competition.
- her style is grudge, punk, and techno, mostly streetstyle.
- dyed her hair green when she was traveling with her uncle.
- she is tall and have a perfect figure with an outgoing attitude and mostly nice to everyone at school despite often being absent, she's one of the popular kids at Silicon Central.
- Bert likes Felicia as a friend than Chaotique which is hilarious to her.
- Suna only knows her as a classmate and that's it.
Peter Punk:
- is actually a 12 year old who skip grades due to his intelligent. But keep it a secret to his classmates and told them he is as old as them
- insecure about his age and his interest and he is afraid people would underestimate him because he is young.
- actually more childish when he isnt at school.
- his voice is squeaker than the Canon show, adorable even. (A squeaky toy mix with ducklings sweetness)
- his casual wear is more colorful than what he wears to school.
- no nose drool.
- still wears glasses but hair gets messier if he gets more relax or fun.
- actually admire Ashley like big sister he wants to impress, he wants to be smarter than her tho.
- likes Bert to his friendliness and never judge him based on age, Peter tell him the truth by accident but Bert never underestimate him a little bit even after finding out.
- his rivalry with Aki start out cause Aki treat him like a kid (Aki actually just being polite due to their height differences) so Peter gets more annoying on purpose just to make Aki  stop treating him like a kid, it only make Aki gets annoyed and them treat him like an annoying classmate (a nuisance). Peter think this is better cause atleast Aki sees him at his level.
- PLEASE JUST MAKE HIM CUTE INSTEAD OF GROSS. LIKE CUTELY ANNOYING.
If this notes get many likes and replies, I'll make my re-imagine of them, ISTG.

Important Information
>> If you want to rp with Maggie, you have to rp with her with her story, lore, abilities and all of that. I've been working on this story and the characters for years now, especially on Maggie. I won't change that now just becaus you're not comfortable to play with a character and their story that is its own thing and plays apart from the whole Marvel canon that we saw in the comics and movies. Cause you know, I wrote it this way on purpose so I'm able to write with any character no matter if movie, comic, canon or oc.
I mean I know not everyoe is comfortable interacting with ocs and that some people might be put off because her story is kinda completely it's own thing beside some mentoning of canon stuff. And I know some might need to spend a bit more time to get to know her which they don't want to do and that's okay, really. I don't have to write with anyone. But I won't change everything just for you. I'm sorry but I can't come up with a different story for everyone just because they want to write but don't want to put any effort into it to at least read about my character.
Especially because I have writen like everything important about her, the story and lore on my google sites and I'm also always happy to explain things more if something wasn't clear enough or confusing. You don't even have to read everything on my google site. Her profile and story would be more than enough which really isn't that much to read.
Sure I'm always happy when people have enough interest that they read the other stuff I have there too or my headcanons I post here. I've been working for so long on this and put so much effort into it but it's really not an obligation to do or something that I expect of you. All I expect is that you read my rules & guidelines page, Maggie's profile and her story. I think that's not too much to ask of you to read three pages, cause I'm doing the same with everyone I write with too. Especially if it's a character I don't know or barely know... Even with those I do know cause everyone has their own version to portray their character, their own headcanons and all that stuff.
And if we're honest you and your character don't even have to know everything about Maggie's past and the organization I came up with. Just like Maggie doesn't has to know everything about yours... Actually it wouldn't even make any sense for our character to know everything or even anything about eachother.
It's really not like I'm not open to listen and plot and maybe even change certain things that aren's so important to her story and character. You can ask literally anyone I write with that I'm always open to talk. That I always try to make sure to talk and plot with my partners first before anything else. That I always provide them with the infos they need regarding my character. I'm even open to take out certain characters of her story, to make everyone more comfortable like I mostly do with Maggie's mother who's also an oc.
But if your very first message to me is "Hey I would like to write but you need to change your character first" then this is not going to happen and not going to work out...
And especially I won't chage that Maggie is Hank's daughter!!! This is something I will !!!NEVER!!! change!!! No matter what. I don't even know why people asked me that in the first place... Maggie is Hank's daughter. Period! <<
>> PS: Don't worry this was no hate or anything like that. The person was actually very nice and polite. It's just that this happened more than once, that people asked me to write with them but told me I had to change her story first cause there was too less Marvel in it and it was too much of its own story. Or there were people asking me if I could change Hank being her father because reasons. And while this person now was very nice and understanding I had a few who weren't. So I thought I just put this out here, hoping that people read this and won't ask me that again. <<

Let’s get dangerous! 3, 9, 13, 17 and 19.
Choose Violence ask game oh. you really are being dangerous lol
9. worst part of canon
not enough time to actually build character development and dynamics and flesh things out more, so it's all monster plot all the time instead of them planning and plotting and processing and bonding in tiny moments. i miss 20-24 episode seasons I miss "filler" episodes. we deserve a ST beach episode...
also dustin and steve both being made comic relief and Dustin's trauma and steve's injuries being ignored.... bubba should see a physician his gonna get sepsis :(
13. worst blorbofication
ooooof. Eddie probably. people keep trying to make him cool or suave or whatever and that's simple not the case. I know in my heart that boy has crawled up a river bank on all fours talking like golum. He is a loser. He is not cool. That's okay and good actually. We need more unsmooth people representation, and Eddie is just a scared little guy!
often too it happens that they just make him...not be brash or kind of a jerk? When he is! It's okay you're blorbo doesn't have to be someone you would have been friends with in highschool! He was loud and walked on tables and made fun of people! He was sort of mean! he wasn't perfect or always nice and kind. He's a weirdo who is sometimes cruel and that's okay he can totally get better!!
I think part of it is that a portion of the fandom has bought into the false dichotomy that the show tries to press on us of jocks vs nerds and that they are enemies or something and that nerds are always or almost always on the side of the good, and jocks are not. So because Eddie is a nerd and made fun of jocks, he is therefore someone that is often right, even if her messes up sometimes but it's okay because he's a nerd, whereas (usually) Steve has to play perpetual make up for the crime of messing up and being a dick when he was sixteen while also playing and enjoying sports. and it's like please!!! I'm tired of this!!! stop hating on sports and thinking people who like them have some moral failing they must make up for just because you don't know what a batting average is or whatever! (and he should have apologized to Lucas)
17. there should be more of this type of fic/art
More fics should let characters be actually angry at being hurt or wronged. Let them rage! especially Lucas! I want him to be able to express his hurt and upset about how all his friends but Steve and Robin abandoned him and played the finale without him! Only Erica brought it up to him, I want MORE apologies to Lucas!!
on that note let Steve be angry when wronged too! let him be upset and not quietly accept an apology let him lay out why he was hurt and angry!
19. you're mad/ashamed/horrified you actually kind of like...
I have nothing I'm really ashamed of in fandom? on occasion I love a good whump fic or a fic that is sometimes. Very mean about certain character/s lol. Though st has got me writing some steamy pieces which I wasn't really expecting! haha
3. screenshot or description of the worst take you've seen on tumblr
(there are so many bad takes floating around which to choose... I guess here's two, saved for last) once saw someone say max abused b!lly by drugging him in s2 and i just had to sit there like......brother WHAT are you talking about. You mean the 13yo girl watching her 17 y/o step brother continue to beat an unconcious 17 y/o and used the sedative to stop him?? One time? To stop him killing someone in front of her and her friends? Someone who had protected them twice that night? From her brother whom she was scared of??? Who had demonstrated abusive behaviour towards her??? Who she had to threaten to stop trying to hurt her or her friends? That one was fucking WILD I can't believe it's real. What the hell.
Also i know it was probably just light a hearted shippy thing but I saw one that was so much a take as it was an au but it had robin lie in the starcourt bathroom by saying she had a crush on tammy instead of Nancy and I was so mad at not only the defiling of the Sacred Stobin Scene, but also that it then means their entire friendship is based on a lie and it would be such a betrayal? (it wouldn't make sense at all anyways [to me] but also) Like. She'd have been lying to her best friend, her soulmate, her person she wants to combine with, for months not just about a crush but about the very moment of vulnerability that cemented their platonic love for each other!! I don't see how you can like robin or steve or their friendship and do that? it's not even about not liking rnce, I'd be mad about it if it was about any other ship too, it's about loving stobin most. idk it feels so icky to me

Egg!!!!!!! I wanna kno. What companions you thing would smoke the za? Which companions would enjoy it or hate it or not wanna try it again?
Finally, now THIS is a good companions react!!!
Side note you almost got a "companions react to pizza" because I did NOT know what "za" was slang for. I was very confused on why companions would smoke pizza. I am not a cool druggie :(
Also also I Have Never Touched A Drug Ever so all my information comes from spying on my older sister and her friends "doing their homework in the backyard" when I was like seven. Enjoy.
Companions React to: Weed
Cait:
Yeah sure why not
Pre Benign Intervention she already does a shit ton of psycho so she wouldn't turn down weed
Post Benign Intervention probably won't continue though for obvious reasons
Not the type of person to make it her entire personality though
Codsworth:
Maybe???
Okay okay I know he can't actually smoke it BUT
It's not like they'd program a mr handy to snitch on their owner for slurping on the bong (is that what they do??? That's what it sounds like)
If Sole's having a good time with friends then Codsworth's happy to be the designated sober friend :)
Curie:
Will only try it if its edibles
Smoking is BAD FOR THE LUNGS and she's the type of person to smell someone smoking weed from across the road and complain about it
She is interested in seeing what being high is like and there's no real risks to it so she's down for experimenting
Probably won't do it again but she enjoyed the experience
Danse:
Medical use marijuana?? More likely than you may think
NOT a partier tho. Will take his One (1) perscribed gummy bear he keeps in his weekly pill organizer and frown at anyone who even mentions the number 420
Makes it surprisingly easy to sneak it past him tho. "I'm making weed brownies.... for medical reasons.... the baking helps with my anxiety as well. Don't eat them."
Deacon:
Oh yeah totally [lie]
You would 100% THINK he's the guy to smoke pot. He knows all the code words. He wears the weed shirts. He knows what "za" means.
But deep down he's a fraud
After getting clean from hard chems he really just does not want to touch any drugs or be around high people in general
His deep insecurities and fear of being abandoned as soon as he's unlikeable will leave him too scared to admit any of that though, so he'll end up smoking just to fit in if he can't find a good excuse to do otherwise
Desdemona:
Has probably done it as a teen and probably enjoyed it but won't do it again
She is too important to the Railroad to ever be inebriated
Unless Glory convinces her to take a break and then mayybbee she'll get high with her
Takes a lot of convincing though and will probably only happen as a celebration for destroying the Institute
Father:
Sole will blow smoke in his face and he will die right there and then he is Too Old
Gage:
Gage canonically doesn't like drugs but come on he'd smoke weed
Just a little bit. As a treat. Not the type of person to get ridiculously high for hours
Probably had a bunch of bad highs in the past and now is too scared to do it again around others
Hancock:
Not only does he enjoy it, he's like, Into It
Knows all the different kinds of strains and will shit talk your dealer if you show up with Low Quality Weed
Don't ask him too many questions or else you'll be listening to him explain the details of every strain for three hours straight
Maccready:
NO drugs are BAD and he needs to be a GOOD INFLUENCE for his SON
Ends up getting FOMO immediately and tries it.
Probably enjoys it??? Idk bro this is such a hard prompt I DONT KNOW WHAT WEED IS LIKE
Maxson:
I give up
Nick:
This comic is all you need
Piper:
Would try it if Sole gave it to her
NOT IN FRONT OF NAT THOUGH
Would enjoy it
Uses all the terminology wrong though
Preston:
Lets be honest he needs it
Probably won't like it recreationally and good luck getting him to a doctor so he can get it medically
But medical marijuana would be helpful for him pls get him some
X6-88:
He's a teen boy who's rebelling from his parents (the institute) for the first time so of course he tries it
Acts like he enjoys it even if he doesn't
Does this
Bonus Carrington because I have a good guess on who sent this ask:
