EMPIRE NOT JUST A MILITARY BOY’S CLUB.

Director Orson Krennic ( @weaponsdirector ) made the headlines this week, after apparently visiting the office of Grand Vizier Mas Amedda. His first public appearance created a swirl of interest throughout the capital, most notably due to his distinctive aesthetic. Emblazoned with a white cape, and an immaculate perm - Krennic is clearly a man who knows how to make a statement. But who is this dashing hero of the New Empire? And does he have our interests at heart? In an exclusive segment, HNN caught up with the newest face of Palpatine’s Order.

“ Director Krennic, Deena Tharen with the HoloNet News - many of our viewers see you as something as a symbol for the New Empire, do you have words for them? “

“Ah, well, first of all, thank you. I have worked very hard to get where I am, and I have tremendous plans for the future– both my own, and that of the Empire. It’s always heartening to know that my efforts are not going unnoticed, to say the very least.

“Something I have worked very hard at, which I think is important to point out, is to show that the Empire is more than just a military boys’ club. I don’t come from a wealthy family, nor do I come from strict military background. I’m just like everyone else, and I’ve gotten where I am through hard work and dedication to the cause. I hope that my story isn’t just seen as symbolic, but can also be seen as an inspiration for our future leaders. A reason to work hard, and do one’s best for the Empire.

“The possibilities are boundless, these days. No one has anyone to blame for failure but themselves. If I have one thing to say to your audience it’s this: THE WORLD YOU DESIRE CAN BE WON. IT EXISTS, IT IS REAL, IT IS POSSIBLE, IT IS YOURS.”

A clear and concise message, filled with hope, and reassurances that despite the difficult economic climate, particularly for those living in the Outer Rim, the Empire has opportunities for everyone willing to dedicate their talents and time to their pursuit.
