lovesick ! || osamu dazai x reader (love diary entry)

genre : fluff !

warnings : none (I DONT REMEMBER??? but petnames if they count.. and mentions of suicide!)

a/n : based off my FAVORITE laufey song <3

story under the cut!

you had gone on an overnight job with atsushi, meaning that you were away from the agency for more than 2 days and dazai was tired of waiting for you.

you two weren't technically together, but if anyone took a glance at you two, they would assume that you and dazai had been in a long relationship. you two were connected by the hip and clicked when you two first met.

dazai was planning on officially making you his but he was scared that you would reject him, or that he would fail on doing it (he's already failed alot of times....)

you and atsushi were currently on the way back from the job, getting food from a nearby restaurant to celebrate your guys' victory. you also had run into akutagawa who was also getting food as well.

"oh hey akutagawa!" you chirped as you saw him in line.

"REALLY?! out of all people we meet him here.. "atsushi complained as he turned to you.

"Hey, y/n" He waved, "weretiger...." he growled as he gave atsushi a death stare.

"Hey now..." You nervously chuckled waving your arms making atsushi hide behind you.

"You here to get food? or is Gin making you pick up her orders again?" You giggled as you hid your smile behind your hand.

"Gin asked me to get her food again, I guess she really loves this place, I've been going every week now." Akutagawa answered as he looked as his receipt, then hearing his number getting called out.

You were ordering food for the agency and your boyfriend-to-be was currently crying and weeping for you. his head was everywhere but in a workspace headspace. he constantly walked to the window and back to the front door waiting for you.

"when is y/n coming back?"

"i miss her," dazai complained as his face was in his palm and his fingers were fidgeting with a pen.

"shes on a job with atsushi, she should be back soon or around evening." kunikida answered as he stood up and grabbed his notebook.

"shes on a job with atsushi" He weaped, as he threw the pen down on his desk and put his head down.

"shes on a job with at atsushi." he repeated as his fingers ran through his hair, his head hanging deeper into his arms.

"Is he lovesick?" kyouka asked kunikida innocently with kunikida replying with that he was just doing anything to get out of work.

Suddenly, the agency filled up with the smell of grilled onions, meat and fried rice. glass bottles being set on the table as well as bags and bags of food.

"Oh hey Y/n-chan!" Ranpo chirped, "awesome!! did you get the ramune bottles as well?!"

"Duh! How can I forget? It's literally your favorite so I had to get it," You answered showing him a case of ramune bottles.

"This is awesome! Thanks!" Ranpo said as he ran to get the bottles and hugged you.

"Shes on a job with atsushi..." Dazai mumbled again, hoping that you would come soon, oblivious to the fact that you were already there.

"Y/n-San please do something about him.." Kunikida mumbled, before helping Yosano out with the food.

you sat in the nearest office chair and laid your head next to dazai's putting your hand in his hair, "yeah, i was on a job with atsushi" you replied, watching his head swiftly turn to yours and his eyes checking you out.

he stood up in surprise and got up, "my bella~!" he sang as he pulled you up into a hug, resting his chin on your head. he was fighting the intrusive thought to shower you with his kisses.

"wow, i missed you too dazai," You giggled as you wrapped your arms around his tall slender figure, your fingers making its way to his cheeks slightly pinching them.

"He missed you so much he couldn't even focus on doing his reports!" Ranpo laughed, as Kouyka giggled at his statement.

"Oh shut it! You can't be saying that about my poor baby, your boyfriend is literally the same without you!" You retorted back at him, while hugging dazai's head.

"you heard her, I'm her baby!" dazai sung in a happy voice.

"Hey! Poe is not my boyfriend!" Ranpo scoffed as he folded his arms.

"Then why did i—" You paused, "Fine fine! Don't tell them!" Ranpo yelled as he cut you off from finishing your sentence.

"That's what I thought!" You chuckled as you let go of dazai, reaching for his hand.

"I thought I wasn't going to be able to live without you here!" Dazai pouted.

You watched your boyfriend-to-be fidget with his bandages, then grabbing both of your hands.

"Bella, we should go out! let me be your boyfriend, please please see please please~!"

"We can be together all we want! We can go on jobs and missions together, we can cuddle together, we can go on dates together, we can lay in bed together, we can live together! we can commit a double suicide together! there's so many things we can do together!"

You giggled at his sudden statement, the nodded. "Yes, dazai, you can be my boyfriend," Next thing you knew his arms flew around your small body, and ending up on the ground.

He began peppering your neck and cheeks with his kisses that he planned on doing to you since earlier, but he's just glad that he was able to shower you with kisses. "You're mine mine mine mine mine," He said as he gave you a kiss after everytime he said "mine,"

"Damn it..."

the first time dazai asks chuuya genuinely for something, not joking, not forcing, but desperately, is after ango - newly revealed goverment spy - leaves after telling oda what he knows of mimick. dazai has chuuya's contacts open and dialing the second oda leaves his sickroom. if he's wrong he'll be endlessly humiliated and relentlessly mocked by chuuya everytime he gives him an order in the future. the risk of what happens should his hunch be correct doesn't allow him to hang up. "shitty mackrel what now. i'm busy." chuuya's annoyed voice greets him and where dazai normally would needle at it and tease chuuya until he relented or exploded he can't afford for chuuya to ignore his request. "i need you to come back. as soon as possible. please." it shuts chuuya up and dazai can almost hear the gears in his brain turning. what he's asking is a lot. maybe too much. chuuya is away to renegotiate something, both as a threat - a look how strong we are we can just send one half of out strongest duo away for weeks at a time - and because chuuya's one of the best - spending a lot of his time around dazai and having been trained by kouyu has that result. he's been ordered there by mori and undoubdetly not finished. leaving now would be clear insubourdination, maybe treason if mori decides the results aren't enough to balance out the needs. it galls him but he doesn't have another card left to play, so he adds "it's important." the silence on the other end is more unnerving than if chuuya had started screaming at him for the audacity. "seven hours." is the only thing chuuya finally says before hanging up. two hours later, oda tells his run in with the leader and it only corroberates what dazai already figured form when akutagawa reported his failure. five hours later dazai learns that mimick killed oda's charity cases and he's failed to get him to turn back. his tracker tells him chuuya still is over the ocean but he sends him the live location of oda's anyway. convincing mori also proves a bust, he had sought this from the very beginning, something dazai had feared but underestimated the possibility of. ("Sakunosuke, you're exquisit!" "I'll accompany you to your end", they are fighting and oda has so much blood on his hands by know but it's still not enough when Flawless sees him, no everyone, dropping to the ground. No way he twists lets him escape the pull of gravity and his bones grind together and his hand is crushed under the weight of his gun. Gide and the rest of mimick aren't fearing better. He doesn't understand how dazai can praise him to be the strongest port-mafia member when he has a god by his side. what good is seeing the future when no matter what you do it's inevitable?) it's been six hours and chuuya's tracker has him entering japan and oda's tracker hasn't moved these past minutes but chuuya loves that dumb hat and oda would never leave that gun behind so he's expecting the worst. finding spots of blood and gore like squashed bugs alliviates the fear and dread sets in. he'll forever be in chuuya's debt now, won't he. oda's gun is next to the dead leader of mimick, only identifiable through his different clothing from the others. his phone rings. he answers without checking who it is. "where the fuck are you, shitty mackrel. hc said you just left and yu aren't at your apartment." "where do you think you are you slimiy slug," he fires back "stay there." of course chuuya needs to be contrary because he answers "fuck off i got to pick something up." still his apartment isn't empty when he enters, but has oda perched atop his couch. seven hours after dazai made his first, and hopefully last, earnest request of chuuya his hat starts moving his way and when he opens his door, chuuya is standing in front of him - ugly hat perched atop his head.

Akutagawa, You are a priority.

I'm going to cross-post my fanfics from ao3 here! I only have three so far and they are pretty old. I lost interest and motivation to write for a long time. so I would appreciate it if you could give me prompts for BSD! Also just in case nobody knows thready means weak in medical terms. Akutagawa never thought his health was ever a priority, I mean what was the point of being well if he didn’t do something right in the eyes of his superiors?

Akutagawa had his leg almost chopped off once, so he figured that he had experienced what he should after failing. But Atsushi thought otherwise, so when Akutagawa came back from a mission and was reporting to Mori. He didn’t notice Atsushi standing in the corner almost about to burst into tears at the state the boy was seeing Akutagawa in.

Back flash -

Though Mori had never called Atsushi over to the port mafia, the boy had come over insisting to see Akutagawa, And was not taking no for an answer. Mori had never really understood the boy's relationship with Akutagawa so he just said to wait in the corner till Akutagawa came back from his mission.

So as the boy stood in the corner of Mori’s cluttered office near the large windows overlooking Yokohama, he looked almost taken aback on how beautiful Yokohama was from above. But then he jumped and looked back to the doors as they swung open. Akutagawa walking through… bleeding from his arm.

Mori glanced back to the boy in the corner and saw pain in the boy’s eyes. As he looked back to Akutagawa, the mafia executive stumbled but straightened himself back up to a standing position. Mori audibly sighed at the boy's state. Then asked,

“Did you succeed?” his eyes staring straight towards Akutagawa.

“Yes.” The black haired boy responded. The boy didn’t speak another word.

Mori turned around in his chair and stood up, he saw Atsushi flinch in the corner and start to step towards Akutagawa. Mori signaled to the white haired boy to stop, He noticed that the boy had started to cry. I guess their relationship is more than just enemies, Mori thought.

Surprisingly Atsushi stopped moving, but Mori’s signal had made Akutagawa turn around to look at what he was signaling to. His eyes widened as he saw the white haired boy in the corner of the room, his face was covered in tears, he couldn’t hold it in anymore.

As Akutagawa fell to the ground, blood pooling around his still breathing form, Atsushi then ran and fell next to the bleeding figure. He gingerly picked the black haired male up and turned to Mori, his eyes red from crying already, and said in between small sobs

“I'm taking your executive.”

As the blood spread slowly throughout the red carpet at Mori’s feet, he smiled, “interesting” he muttered under his breath.

“What's interesting?” Said Elise as she popped her head up from her drawing.

“Nothing, Nothing much Elise.” The man said as he turned around and asked “What are you drawing?”

As Atsushi walked through the uniform halls of the port mafia, he looked down at the other boy in his arms. His heart felt pain as he saw the usually so energetic but hateful boy looking so weak and small. But he set his heart to bringing Akutagawa back to the agency for Yosano to heal

As he walked out of the doors of the port Mafia’s headquarters, the white haired boy looked around, the sun was setting over the buildings, the pink and orange hues mixing with the light blue of the day. The rain clouds from the morning were long gone and left the sky clear. The night wind brushed by him and rusted Akutagawa's hair, Atsushi looked down at the black haired boy again, and as the street lamps came on he ran, holding Akutagawa tight to his chest, Akutagawa’s coat tails flying out behind the pair as Atsushi ran across the sidewalk towards to agencies headquarters.

Atsushi ran as fast as he could up the stairs and turned into the hall of the agency’s offices. He ran up to the door that contained Yosano’s office. He pushed the door open with his foot and ran to one of the medical beds. As he stopped, He looked down at the boy in his arms. He panicked, noticing that the boy was barely breathing. Then quickly and gingerly put the black haired boy onto the medical bed.

Atsushi didn’t care about his appearance as he ran into the agency’s regular offices and ran up to Yosano who was sitting at her computer doing some overtime. The only people who were left in the office were Yosano and Ranpo who both gasped as they looked up to the noise of the door slamming open to see a bloody, red eyed Atsushi. As he stood at the door trying to form words in his desperation he just pointed at Yosano and said

“D-d-dying…” as he almost burst into tears again. Yosano immediately jumped up from her seat and closed her computer as she ran to the blood covered Atsushi who couldn’t hold back his tears anymore.

“Who?! Atsushi, where are they!” Said Yosano who was immediately taken aback that Atsushi had come to her. But she wanted to help him, as he was covered in blood and crying. The white haired boy pointed to the infirmary Yosano looked back to Ranpo and nodded and ran over to the infirmary door as Ranpo got up from his desk and said to Atsushi

“Come sit down, Yosano can take care of anybody. Even people on the edge of death.” Atsushi didn’t look up and just followed the sound of Ranpos' voice.

As Atsushi was crying his eyes out on the coach of the agency, Yosano ran into the infirmary and looked around and saw Akutagawa still bleeding out on the medical bed. She sighed as she realized that Atsushi really was in love with him.

She walked up to the boy on the bed and pulled on some medical grade gloves, realizing for the second time in a minute that the boy was breathing, but had a thready* pulse, he was about to die.

Three days after the incident with Atsushi and Akutagawa, the white haired boy was sitting by his bed. Where Akutagawa lay, breathing and alive. Atsushi had spent the whole night at the agency the day he had brought Akutagawa to Yosano, when the rest of the Agency came back for work the next morning they were all surprised to see Ranpo sleeping in his desk chair, Atsushi sleeping on the coach with Yosano sleeping on the floor next to him . Most surprising was that Atsushi and Yosano were covered in blood. At first they thought that all of them were dead but then One of the interns that arrived early took yosano's pulse and confirmed that they were all indeed alive. Along with Akutagawa.

As the 3 members woke from their sleep they were forced to explain the situation by Dazai. As Atsushi relayed how he had gone to the Port mafia’s headquarters Dazia sighed and looked to Yosano as she explained that she spent up till 1am healing Akutagawa.

Almost all the members of the agency agreed that Atsushi should take Akutagawa back to his apartment and stay home for the next couple days. So Atsushi listened to them and here he was sitting next to Akutagawa and waiting with a small soup and a cup of tea for himself.

Then he felt the blanket moving slightly and saw Akutagawa stirring, he jumped up from his sitting position and ran to the small kitchen and grabbed a glass of water. As Atsushi carefully ran back to the room so as not to spill the water he looked at the futon to see Akutagawa sitting up and on alert.

Atsushi almost dropped the water glass when the black haired boy tried to stand up and lunge at the person in front of him. Atsushi placed the water glass quickly down and ran over to Akutagawa’s side, pulling him up to a sitting position from where he lay splayed across the futon groaning in pain.

“You can’t move yet!” He exclaimed.

Akutagawa grimaced and said “why am I in your apartment you asshole?”

“You fainted from blood loss so I brought you to Dr. Yosano” Atsushi said worriedly looking Akutagawa up and down making sure he wasn’t bleeding again. “Then I brought you back here because you couldn’t stay in the agency for three days.”

“I’ve been asleep for three days!?” yelled Akutagawa trying to get up once again. Atsushi pushed him back down and said,

“You can’t get up yet, you’re still healing.”

“I need to go back!” Akutagawa tried to push Atsushi away again to no avail “I’ve missed my mission report and I was supposed to leave for the next one yesterday!”

“No.” Atsushi said calmly “I already told Dazai to relay to Mori that you will be gone for two weeks to heal. And Mori said that was fine as long as… Actually Dazi didn’t tell me why.”

“Boss said it was fine!? But I need to get back to work!” He struggled against Atsushi with his limited strength and finally gave up. “But why are you stopping me, you don’t even care about me.” The boy frowned and looked up at the ceiling trying to avoid eye contact.

“That’s the thing,” Atsushi said with a small smile on his face “Hey, Akutagawa, Look at me” He looked down from the ceiling and to Atsushi’s face and locked eyes with him.

“What.” he said plainly.

“I do care,” Said Atsushi, the smile growing and tears flowing down his face. “I was so scared I was going to lose you when you fainted, I could barely breathe.” The boy looked down and then locked eyes with Akutagawa again. A long silence only broken by small sobs from Atsushi.

“What do you mean?” Akutagawa sated plainly, A small bit of confusion creeping on him

“I-I” Atsushi said between sobs “I-I-”

“Just say it for fucks-sake!” Spit Akutagawa

“I-I Love you.” Atsushi supputered out, still sobbing. A small blush creeping up to his face.

“W-W-WHAT?” Akutagawa looked at the sobbing and blushing mess in front of him in disbelief. He loves me… THAT MAKES NO SENSE! I hate him, why would he love me! Thought Akutagawa, confusion evident on his face, but something else as well.

A small amount of red, Atsushi looked up and through tear soaked eyes he saw. Akutagawa was blushing! Atsushi and Akutagawa sat in a long silence. And suddenly Akutagawa said

“I-I love you too.” He had finally realized it, the feeling of wanting to kill Atsushi wasn’t the actual feeling of wanting to kill him. He just wanted to spend more time with him and get to know him. Not hate him.

“W-w-w-what? Really?” The other boy said, looking Akutagawa straight in the eyes.

“I don’t know, but I want to spend everyday with you and when you talk too much I want to kill you but then I think what would I do without you! And you make me happy and I-I- Don’t mind not killing for you I-I- Don't know what love is but…” Akutagawa stopped rambling and blushed a deep crimson and mumbled out “Chuuya said that's what he felt when he started to realize he liked Dazai so…” The boy trailed off looking down; a flustered mess. Atsushi looked at him for a long moment and they said,

“That sounds like love to me.” He smiled and hugged Akutagawa, but not too hard so as not to hurt him. Then he heard a small clink and turned around “Ahhhh! The soup! I had that prepared for when you woke up! Now it's cold and spilled on the floor!” Atsushi screamed as he jumped up. Then he heard a small chuckle, he turned around to see Akutagawa laughing. He smiled and sat back down,

“I can clean it up later, but I think the sick patient is the first priority.” he said smiling and hugging Akutagawa again.

Akutagawa didn’t quite understand what love was but he was going to try to figure it out.

There was no one else around, it was late and the woman was now being followed by a group of men, she didn’t know what they wanted from her but it was only a matter of time before they got physical. “Hey! Stop running, there's nowhere for you to go!” One of them called out but she didn’t stop and that was when they all seemed to move forward in sync attempting to grab her and she screamed, the men closest to her fell to the floor unconscious and the others were flung back by the force as she fell to the floor. Someone touched her shoulder gently and she flinched as she moved away from them. “Hey it’s okay, we’re from the ADA, we’re just here to help.” The man said, as she looked at the two men behind her she realised that they were from the ADA, she had heard of them before but they both seemed shocked as she looked at them. “Come on, we have somewhere that you can stay until the morning.” “Will I be able to talk to you in the morning?” She asked. “Of course.” The man answered.

The next morning after introductions were done a meeting was held to make sure that everyone had the same information “This woman is Hibiki, she was hired to look for someone’s brother, during this investigation she found connections between his disappearance and the recent murders, the ones that we have been investigating.” Kunikida explained. “Why not go to the police with this information?” Junichiro asked as he looked at her. “I did but they pointed me in the direction of you, I just didn’t expect to be attacked before I was able to talk to all of you.” Hibiki answered. “That’s why I am asking you to protect me, while I do my work, I don’t want you to do my work for me just protect me while I finish mine.” They all looked between each other, seeming to be gauging all of their reactions, trust and want to take on the request but only one of them spoke. “Did you work for the police?” Dazai asked. “For about 2 years.” She nodded. “Well you’ve really capture my attention, what are your thoughts on a double suicide?” Dazai asked, the others could see how uncomfortable she was getting, Kunikida stepped forward smacking him in the back of his head with his book before starting to lecture him on how to properly treat a woman. “Is this normal?” You asked. “Very.” Atsushi answered, waiting for the interaction to end.

Mori had called a meeting with his executives, the ones he wanted involved in this new plan “there are rumours of a cult in Yokohama, a woman that is brainwashing people and when that doesn’t work killing them to keep the secret.” Mori explained “what do you know about this?” “I’ve heard a few rumours, nothing that would be worth pursuing.” Koyo admitted. “It’s the same for me, nothing that can be pursued.” Chuya confirmed, Mori’s eyes moved to you standing quietly and keeping to yourself, he could see that there was something going through your head. “(Y/N)?” He asked. “Sorry, one of my men reported something that sounded similar while they were selling weapons but nothing more than a disturbance.” You answered and he nodded. “Well lucky for all of you the ADA have been busy bees again and they have someone that I think we can use.” Mori said. “Who?” Chuya asked. “A woman called Hibiki. She’ll be the perfect bait.” Mori decided. “So you want to go to war with the ADA?” Chuya asked. “No we’ll start with kidnapping the woman, if they want a war then we will deal with it afterwards.” Mori waved them off. “Akutaawa has already gone to get her, he should be back soon.”

Akutagawa should have known that this wouldn’t have been straightforward, it was the ADA after all but this fight was becoming tedious after knocking out the doctor, the illusionist and the ideal man, he was sick of fighting but of all of the men still standing, the weretiger was going to be the most annoying “what does the mafia want with her?” Atsushi asked. “None of your business were-tiger.” He answered as he knocked him away for what seemed like the 100th time, Atsushi was predictable and Akutagawa was getting tired of the fighting, he aimed Rashumon at one of the unconscious members “give me the girl or I’ll kill every person who can’t defend themselves.” “You can’t do that!” Atsushi yelled, Akutagawa rolled his eyes as Rashumon slashed straight across the tiger's face. “I can do whatever I want, are you going to stop me Tiger?” He asked before anyone could answer if there was a sharp noise that sent Akutagawa flying, they all looked back to find Hibiki standing in front of Kunikida. “That power…” Kunikida muttered as he pushed himself into a sitting position. “My ability means that my voice can break anything, I don’t like using it, I actually hate it.” She explained. “Why?” Kunikida asked. “It’s easy to lose control of it, you saw it last night, I’ve accidentally hurt people because I’ve lost control.” She admitted. “We’ll help you.” Kunikida said. “If we can get through this.” She agreed. “Akatugawa failed to bring the Hibiki back.” Mori said as he looked at you. “So you are going to go and get her.” “Me?” You asked “do you want me to take Chuya or Koyo?” You asked. “No just you.” Mori answered. “Are you sure?” You asked. “You are more than capable.” He said as he pointed to the door “bring back that woman.”

It had been three weeks since Akutagawa attacked the ADA, Hibiki had gotten very close to Kunikida, Dazai had been watching her closely, however today was the day everything was about to change again, Niaomi had the black envelope and she was the one that opened it.

Bring Hibiki to the dock on the east side of Yokohama, anytime within the next three days otherwise we will come to take her.

Niaomi called everyone over to read the note and she all gathered “who sent it?” Junichiro asked. “It doesn’t say.” Niaomi answered. “It must be some kind of trick.” Kunikida muttered as he looked at the letter. “No I don’t think so, given the fact that Akutagawa was here only 5 weeks ago it would be easy to say that this is the mafia’s doing.” Ranpo said as he looked at the letter before picking it up. “This message is short, there's no threats or orders, it’s written like an invitation, they are confident in what they are going to do, whoever sent this is dangerous or reckless.” The room descended into chaos. “I know who sent this.” Dazai said as he leaned forward his elbow rested on the desk he was sitting behind “(Y/N).” “The guy from the mafia?” Kunikida asked. “She’s not just some guy, first off she’s a girl, she and executive, I saw her on mission before she always sent a message like that, to give the victim the choice to choose their fate but know that once she told to get you, she’ll hunt you like a bloodhound, she gets every person that she’s told to.” Dazai explained as he looked at the door “so I hope you’re good at running if you don’t intend on answering that.” “You're just going to let her have me? Please don’t let her take me.” Hibiki cried. “I won’t let her take you, I'll protect you.” Kunikida said. “Will you?” Dazai asked as Atsushi stood sensing the incoming argument, he stood between the two. “Let’s all just think about this, we know that the Mafia is persistent, so we aren’t going to get away from them, let’s make a plan.” Atsushi suggested. “If you're going to fight her, then do it head on, be honest or be angry but do not lie to her, you will lose if you do.” Dazai said before he stood up “oh and she hates the police so maybe keep your past occupation a secret if she doesn’t already know.” “Wait-” “There was a time when we were younger, the police tried to get to her a few times and when they were honest she often gave them what they wanted but most of the time they were trying to trick her and she killed them mercilessly and that was when we were younger, she’s had time to perfect her methods and honestly I was wary of her then, it would be smart for us to be scared of her now.” Dazai finally said before leaving.

We will not be handing over Hibiki and we will not let you take her, if you come to your office ready to fight then we will fight you, we intend to protect her no matter what.

“What are you going to do now?” Chuya asked from his place leaning against your desk, you looked at the letter and sighed. “They still have time to change their mind.” You shrugged. “You think that they are going to change their mind?” Chuya asked. “(Y/N).” Koyo called as she walked into the office, both of them looking over at her “have you taken Hibiki yet?” “No.” You answered. “Good, give me some time, I would like to investigate her further first.” She said. “Investigate her?” Chuya asked. “There’s something wrong with all of this, we don’t know anything about her, if Mori wants to take her that’s fine but I would like to know a little more about her incase we need the information.” Koyo explained. “That’s fine, it seems that the ADA wants to play a little while, so I’ll keep them busy while you look, let me know when you're done so I can finish this.” You said and she nodded before turning to leave your office as you relaxed back in your chair. “How long before he shows up?” Chuya asked. “Dazai?” You asked. “A while yet, he’ll want to see the hunt. If Koyo is suspicious of that girl then he is too and he’ll find out what she’s hiding before deciding whether he’s going to help or hurt her chances.” “You think too highly of him.” Chuya muttered before leaning down to press a kiss to your forehead. “Remember to get some rest.” but you both knew that you wouldn’t be doing that.

BSD PM!BOYS REACTING TO GN!Y/N THAT CAN TURN INTO SPIDER

Characters: Ryuunosuke Akutagawa, Chuuya Nakahara

Word Count: 1312k

Warnings: Spider, slight description of it? I don't know technically the reader making them disgusted

Authors note: I can't believe my friend, she could've requested something else but no, its the spiders, and it's honestly freaky when you think about that one giant... yeah. But hey if you don't like spiders or has a fear of it, I don't really encourage tou reading this not unless you can somewhat handle it to some extent, but still, just warning ya!!

Ryuunosuke Akutagawa

To think that this man has a fear? over something little? You gotta be kidding me then because he'd still kill those ants(if it wasn't for Atsushi telling him not to kill "anyone" for like, how long? Then him taking it seriously /hj)

You were an enemy- he's more confused on why is there a ginormous creature roaming around the Yokohama and destroying one of the PM's properties? He would still complain if it's Atsushi but he well know that he doesn't have a heart to do that.

Akutagawa realizes that it could be another ability user, because now creature could just target their property for no absolute reason. He doesn't believe that one specific report; "the ginormous beast" one.

There was a time where you turned into a small spider then followed Akutagawa to the headquarters, you were already aware of his prescence as the Port Mafia's dog after all(he almost killed you too while you were in that state to be honest, but managed to retreat to one of the little spaces where he can't reach you).

A little bit time skip, where Akutagawa entered this one warehouse alongside with Higuchi as per usual, telling him to be slightly more silent while he also tell her to shut up as well. When the two reached this one specific place- it has an awful lot of cobwebs and all of those dead rotten corpse's were fully wrapped around by your webs (Don't ask me how you exactly do those, I won't answer it)

Higuchi was already muttering incoherent nonsense when there was a huge shadow looming over the two- again he told her to shut up before finally looking at his back only to see a giant beast with two tagmata, eight giant legs thay were crawling on the ground while it makes a sound, then those little crimson eyes with the warehouse light illuminating it to make it seem like it's glowing in the dark

It was actually more terrifying, especially if its up close.

Akutagawa immediately used his Rashoumon to try and tear that disgusting vile creature apart- being a little pest you are you turned back to your human form for a brief second after it nearly stabbed your main body of the spider, then later on engaged in a battle with the two

You realized that you can't just keep hold of them forever, most of Akutagawa's actions were impulsive but you really did forgot this one woman he was with, then eventually landed a tranquil dart to your shoulder

"C-cheater..!" You snarled at the man in black in front of you, before your vision fully blackened out.

Let's say you got held as a captive by the PM while being interrogated by him, you eventually admitted that you were only commissioned by some of the group to mess with the PM

Mori thought that you'd make a great asset to them, so he eventually offered you the position in the PM- it's up to you whether to decline it or not

If you eventually accept it, you'd annoy Akutagawa every now and then (and also scare Higuchi), even if the two of you are paired up in the missions

If not, Mori would try to rearrange and have a contract between you both, who wouldn't want someone great as you?

In the end of the day, he'd usually shoo you away but now he doesn't, he would still hit you as you fight him back, it all started from a small fight to a huge mess.

Kouyou or Chuuya would probably kill you both if you kept on doing this.

Chuuya Nakahara

He has a huge pride and ego, there are some of the other things he still hides and feign it with his assertiveness and pride

Like, maybe this man hates of spiders- depends. He can handle those all fair and square(yeah sure until you give him a tatantula)

You are a newly recruit of the PM, said to have no ability(or in other words you asked Mori to not have it shown on your records after paying your debts to... him.) and you were put as Chuuya's subordinate

Nothing new, he thought. It would be just the same thing, he really thought. Which that's the part where all of his assumptions are wrong and ended up regretting it in the later parts- he did train you and taught you some basics and all, sure.

There was also a time where you got curious and decided to become a little spider, then spy him on his office— it was rather a boring experience because all he does is to drown on his paperworks, you tried your luck by heading to the empty side of his desk and do a little spider dance

This stupid bit went on until he was going to grab something on the other side, then saw the "spider" dancing in his desk before staring at it for a long lloooong time. (He probably flinged you, at least he didn't try to squash you)

At the same time of your recruitment ever since, he's getting the reports of this "Ginormous Beast" or whatsoever- a person that turns into a giant spider? he cringes by the thought of that

So one day when he's having a small chat with you, he suddenly brought that topic up while you were drinking some water.

"Do ya believe this one report? About the legendary spider beast or whatever? 'cause I don't."

You definitely choked on your drink while he stared at you weirdly.

"I don't wanna encounter them, that's for sure."

Because you ARE them lmao

So maybe one day where the two of you were sent out on a mission to retrieve this one particular information, you got seperated from him to handle with some certain situations, you were assigned to retrieve it while he fights the others

But the enemy's reinforcement are coming from every sides, felt like an endless wave to you so you decided to use your spider form then scared a bunch of freaks. Some ended up dead- you even made a cobweb and made them stuck on the web you made

Some of them are running for their lives yelling that the "Beast" is in this area, the other's eventually retreated

You basically thought it would be fun to scare Chuuya so you tried go over to his back, yet again the shadow looming iver him before snapping his hear to the back

Again, completely frozen- almost as if he's like he's trying to process the whole situation before grimacing by the sight of this

"I don't want to deal with ya."

Is what he said before a red aura appeared in him- you knew he activated his ability so you tried to run away but eventually ended up getting stuck on the ground, forcibly causing you to return back to your human state

"ow—"

"Y/N?!"

Again, hes bewildered and terrified(he won't admit that outloud) befote scolding you beforehand about that whole situation, he'll ask you the ability thing tomorrow so be prepared

For now, you were having fun getting a reaction from him, a disgusted one rather.

BSD STAGE Dead Apple Spoilers

Summary of the BSD Stage Dead Apple Synopsis

▼Beginning

The play starts with Atsushi looking for Dazai (as tasked by Kunikida to attend the ADA mtg) Differing from the movie, he doesn't find him.

Atsushi meets Shibusawa on the street instead when Shibusawa saved an elderly crossing the street, making him think that Shibusawa is a kind person.

Atsushi thinks that they have met somewhere before but can't remember it exactly.

Kyouka then meets Atsushi about the Ability Users Suicide Case.

▼Akutagawa pursues Shibusawa

Chuuya and Akutagawa are talking on the phone. Akutagawa is tasked to pursue Shibusawa as the perpetrator of the Dragon Head Conflict.

However, Akutagawa was physically attacked by Dazai from behind - he snapped Aku’s neck, then stepped on him - causing him to lose consciousness (though he recognizes Dazai before passing out).

Dazai then comes with Shibusawa.

The day when Dazai took Akutagawa to the Port Mafia is shown. Akutagawa wakes up from the dream and remembers Dazai attacked him.

An Ability user suddenly comes out of nowhere. Akutagawa fights him and realizes that he can't use Rashomon.

Chuuya comes to save him. Apparently, it's an Ability that got separated from its user.

Chuuya then explains Shibusawa's Ability and says that the mist engulfing Yokohama is actually the breath of a dragon.

Akutagawa then asks why Chuuya's Ability doesn't separate from him.

Chuuya answers that his Ability is quite special and isn't something small that can be taken easily by this fog. And if his Ability happens to separate from him, it will be the end of Yokohama.

Chuuya gives Akutagawa a new mission - to kill Dazai, because he's the one who took Shibusawa to Yokohama.

Akutagawa laughs, saying that he doesn't believe that because the Dazai now wants peace in Yokohama.

Chuuya laughs at him. He says that he's known Dazai for 7 years and were once partners so he knows Dazai - he knows that no one can tell what Dazai is thinking. There's a monster inside Dazai that no one can understand.

Aku claims that he can understand Dazai so Chuuya asks him why Dazai left the Mafia, but Aku couldn't answer. Chuuya says that he doesn't care if Aku looks up to Dazai but as for him, he's never looked up to Dazai even once. He then tells him to his face that Aku going all "Dazai-san, Dazai-san" and accepting everything he says - is probably the reason why Dazai doesn't approve of him.

Aku gets mad and attacks him to no avail. Chuuya taunts him further saying that if he doesn't do something about this mist, he'll remain weak.

Rashomon appears in the background. Chuuya says that Rashomon is just looking at him and not attacking him as if putting Aku to a test.

Chuuya says that without his Ability, Aku can never land a single punch at him.

Aku accepts the mission and says that he will beat Chuuya right after.

Dazai walks to the center. There's a voice-over of Oda when he told Dazai that the good or bad side doesn't make much difference to him.

Shibusawa arrives.

Dazai says he's happy working with him.

Fyodor arrives saying that Shibusawa shouldn't believe Dazai. (Fyodor does a mini violin performance, talk about grand entrance lol)

It seems that Dazai didn't know beforehand that Fyodor is part of the plan.

Fyodor says that he's just a rat on the side that will help a bit.

Dazai realizes that Fyodor's role is to keep him in check.

Shibusawa says that he can actually accomplish all his plans on his own without them, but it would be boring.

Dazai agrees that it indeed wouldn't be boring because no one knows who will betray who.

▼Atsushi, Aku, Kyouka in the Mafia passage

Atsushi argues with Aku on the way, saying things that it's his fault that Kyouka suffered in the Mafia. He told them that he should never come close to Kyouka ever and talk as if he knows her.

Aku then retorts back asking Atsushi what he actually knows about Kyouka.

Atsushi says that he knows a lot stating things like Kyouka likes tofu and bunnies, and hates lightning.

Aku asks him about her past but Atsushi wasn't able to answer. Aku narrates that Kyouka's parents were killed by Demon Snow and she was picked up by the Mafia, and was then trained by a Port Mafia Executive known as the best Assassin in the world (in reference to Verlaine).

Aku then adds that he also knows that Kyouka hates flies and dogs, and likes ghosts and hydrangeas. He knows more about Kyouka so it's his win.

Unable to come up with other things about Kyouka, Atsushi resorts to bickering.

Atsushi: You're a sore loser!

Aku: Orphanage castaway!

Sushi, visibly hurt from Aku's comeback: You don't change clothes!

Aku, visibly hurt from Sushi's comeback: I wash it every time!

Sushi: Huh? Do you also wear that when sleeping?

Aku: I'm gonna kill you!

They were then stopped by Kyouka.

Before they go out of the passageway, Kyouka attempts to check if her phone can connect somewhere.

Aku gently stops her telling her that that phone is the one used to control her Ability and would be bad if it connects.

Kyouka says that there's nothing to worry about because there's no signal.

Kyouka asks him if Aku tried the Mafia's communication device and Aku says that it can't connect too.

(Note: When Aku talks to Kyouka his voice is calm and softer than usual)

Atsushi, feeling out of place, silently watches them from the side. "You two, you actually get along well, huh..."

▼Demon Snow Battle

The trio go back outside the streets and comes to face Demon Snow. They ran back to the Mafia passageway but Demon Snow just follows them and slices the door. Byakko then also appears.

Kyouka's phone rings. When she answers it, the scene flashbacks to the time when her parents died (same scene with the manga) with her mom explaining what truly happened, and then advises Kyouka how to control Demon Snow.

They were able to beat Demon Snow after and the Ability goes back to Kyouka.

Aku, Atsushi, and Kyouka continue to walk in the mist-covered street. Atsushi suggests to Kyouka that they should hold hands so they don't get separated. Kyouka agreed and held out her hand, but then asked Atsushi about Aku.

Sushi: Eh?

Kyouka:

Sushi: Eh?

Kyouka: Should I hold his hand?

Sushi: No way!

Kyouka: Then you should hold his hand

Sushi: Ehhhh, t-there's no way I would... i-it's Akutagawa...

Kyouka:

Sushi: Aahh, there are no other hands in here so fine!

Atsushi settles to offer the dangling part of his belt for Aku to hold on to (lol he's pointing his ass in the process because the belt is on his back like a tail). Aku reaches for it, but was taken away by Rashomon before Atsushi and Kyouka can see him

▼Aku vs Rashomon Battle

Aku uses his gun to fight against Rashomon. Just when he thought he won, he is then caught and pierced by Rashomon. At first Aku thought that Rashomon is fighting him to test if he's worth it as Rashomon's "owner", but then realized that Rashomon is actually filled with wrath - Aku's wrath towards his weak self.

Scenes flashback to Chuuya telling Aku why Dazai doesn't approve of him, of Atsushi telling him that he lost against him and is still not recognized by Dazai, and of Dazai telling him that his new subordinate is better and he doesn't need Aku.

Aku makes Rashomon remember all these, of what they went through, of what they are mad about, of what they both desire. If Aku doesn't beat Rashomon then he will be a part of Shibusawa's collection and will never get what they desire.

Before Rashomon ends Aku, he sets the bomb off and beats him eventually.

Aku returns to Atsushi and Kyouka thereafter, and Atsushi was surprised to see him covered in bruises.

▼White Trio Betrayal Scene

Fyodor sees Dazai suspiciously trying to enter the Draconia room. They went inside after Fyodor tells him that Shibusawa is not there. Dazai reveals his motives to Fyodor, and Fyodor hands him the crystals. Before Dazai can touch them Shibusawa stabs him from behind. Dazai dies. (scenes are almost the same as the movie)

After Dazai dies, Shibusawa also kills Fyodor, grabbing him on the top of his head, lifting him up, and then breaking his neck.

Shibusawa laughs (like a villain) saying that his plans succeeded.

▼More Aku, Atsushi, and Kyouka

Aku, Atsushi, and Kyouka are riding an elevator, standing side by side. Because the ride is taking quite long, Atsushi tries to make small talk to relieve the awkward atmosphere.

Sushi: Your Ability has returned to you, right? How does it feel?

Aku: None of your business.

*silence*

Sushi: Looking from this angle, your nose looks nice. (literally "you have a high-bridged nose" used as a compliment in Jp)

*silence*

Sushi: Aahh, with this three the talk is going nowhere..

Kyouka: *tries to narrate Momotaro (a popular Jp folklore)*

Sushi: Ah, I'm sorry Kyouka-chan, I didn't mean to force you

▼Chuuya at the Special Ability Dept

Chuuya arrives at the Special Ability Department Office. He is stopped by the guards but Chuuya beats them all (fight scenes were shown).

Chuuya arrives at the main office, but Ango is only showing up in the scene via a video screen. Tsujimura is in the office btw.

Chuuya and Ango talk about the government's involvement with Shibusawa (same with the movie).

Chuuya threatens Ango that he will kill the people in the office if Ango doesn't tell him about the case of Shibusawa now.

▼White Trio

Shibusawa takes Dazai's Ability crystal, but realizes that it is not the one he's been looking for.

Fyodor suddenly appears from his back, shooting Shibusawa with a gun.

Apparently, the one Shibusawa killed earlier was not Fyodor himself, but his separated Ability.

Fyodor then kills Shibusawa with a knife, making him remember his death (same with the movie).

▼Dragon Appears

Fyodor does his poetry speech about the dragon lol

The dragon appears as animation in the background.

Deadly Drive plays as bg music after!

Ango asks Chuuya to fight the dragon, believing that only his Ability can do it just as when they fought Guivre in the past.

Chuuya complains that the government just always does nothing but order people around while not getting their hands dirty.

He accepts the mission and asks Ango's life in return.

▼Chuuya vs Dragon

Plane scene with Tsujimura is almost the same as the movie. Chuuya throws his gloves and activates Corruption.

This scene involves his actor Uechan flying in a harness, where he did flips a few times. On his background is an animation of the levitated rubbles and the building he used to throw at the dragon.

▼Soukoku scene

Chuuya shouts Dazai's name, and punches him waking him up. Dazai touches his cheek to deactivate Corruption. (Same lines with the movie, yes Dazai is still Snow White)

Chuuya asks him to let go but Dazai refuses saying that the place they are in is where the mist is the most concentrated and Arahabaki will end up separating from him.

▼Atsushi reflection with Byakko

Atsushi realizes that the orphanage director must have known that he killed Shibusawa, but wondered why he never told him.

The orphanage director appears at the end saying that he hid the truth from Atsushi because he thought Atsushi wouldn't be able to accept it and would be crushed (mentally) once he knew about himself.

After Atsushi says the "more beautiful" line, Oda's voice-over plays when he told Dazai to go to the side that saves people because that's a little bit more beautiful.

▼Aftermath Chuuya

Ango calls Chuuya saying that the battle is finished thanks to them, and now he's ready to give his life in return.

Chuuya just laughs at him saying that his life isn't enough to pay for this. He also tells him that he understands that Ango was just a small fry in the government six years ago so wasn't able to do anything about the Shibusawa case. Ango thanks him but still tries to insist but Chuuya hangs up.

Akutagawa shows up, but he doesn't bow at Chuuya (unlike in the movie) and just continues walking after Chuuya told him that Dazai is alive. Chuuya calls him to lend his shoulder because he can't move and gestures him to come closer.

Aku does and Chuuya laughs at how unwilling he looks and asks if Aku is still mad that Chuuya called him weak. Aku says that he's not bothered at all.

Chuuya tells him that he shouldn't worry because they're both included in Dazai's plans, which means that Dazai thinks that they are essential in beating Shibusawa.

Aku remains silent. Chuuya then tells him that as Dazai's ex-partner, he's gonna say it - that Dazai approves of Aku. At the very least, Chuuya does approve of him too.

Aku just says that he's nothing compared to Chuuya.

▼Days after

Atsushi and Kyouka are back at the Agency, where they wave off to everyone as they go on a new mission.

Voice-overs of the ADA stage play cast were played sending them off.

Tanizaki: Take care!

Naomi: Stay safe!

Kunikida: Don't forget your report after.

Ranpo: Get me sweets on your way home!

Yosano: If possible, go back here with injuries, okay?

Kenji: Let's eat some gyudon later!

Fukuzawa: Atsushi, Kyouka, take care and come back safely.

▼Closing

Chuuya talks to Mori on the phone, reporting that the mission has been accomplished.

However, he gets instructed to do the send-off or the farewell greeting to the fans on the stage.

Chuuya, angrily to the audience: What are you looking at, huh?

Send-off? *takes a sit elegantly and stares at the crowd*

Ugh, okay,, *stands up*

Be careful not to be engulfed by the mist when you go home, okay? See ya.

Reason to live — Found

It’s one in the morning, and Dazai finds himself sitting on the couch, contemplating something. Dazai has been suicidal for as long as he can remember, but because of that darned doctor, he couldn’t end his life all those years ago…but now, why couldn’t he ever find himself to genuinely want to do it? He’s simply been putting up with the act for quite a while now, especially since he finally made up with Akutagawa and officially dated Chuuya.

…he’s officially dating Chuuya…still sounds like a dream to him. How did he even end up dating that hat rack in the first place? Well, however it may be, Dazai can no longer find the urge to end his life. So he stands up from the couch he’s sitting on, grabs his “Complete Guide to Suicide” book and threw it away. Just then, the door to his shared apartment with Chuuya opens.

“I’m home,” Chuuya tiredly says.

“Welcome home chibi,” Dazai says happily and teasingly, greeting his boyfriend with open arms.

“Hello to you too mackerel,” Chuuya grumbles slightly, letting himself lean onto Dazai’s open arms.

“Was work tiring today?” Dazai asks in his sing-song tone.

“Of course you tall idiot, what about your work?” Chuuya asks back, still leaning onto his boyfriend.

“Well Kunikuda has been giving me a hard time with reports, kind of glad Atsushi is always willing to give me a hand,” Dazai relays it with his usual playfully-annoyed tone while he breaks the hug and drags Chuuya deeper into the apartment.

The two stop the conversation there since Chuuya looks absolutely tired. Wanting to be an actually caring lover for once, Dazai lets Chuuya flop himself onto the bed and starts the water, letting warm water flow onto the bathtub. Once he deems it good enough, he goes back into the bedroom to get his tired partner.

“Chuuya, the water’s ready. You should at least take a bath before sleeping,” Dazai says with sincerity in his voice.

On normal days, Chuuya would tease and ask him about it, but he’s too darned tired for that, so he lets Dazai pick him up and bring him into the bathroom. After a nice long and warm bath, the two cuddle on the bed, ready for a peaceful night.

“You’ll still be alive and breathing later in the morning…right?” Chuuya worriedly asks.

Dazai doesn’t answer for a bit, which causes Chuuya to look up to his taller lover.

“Of course I’ll still be breathing. Now that I’m dating chibi, there’s no way I can end my life,” Dazai pauses for a bit, “Unless…”

“Why did I even ask,” Chuuya grumbles annoyingly, snuggling closer to Dazai, as not wanting to let him go, which causes him to chuckle.

The next morning, Dazai wakes up to Chuuya no longer next to him. The redhead is probably making breakfast. But then again…he’s not smelling any food being cooked, maybe he’s left? Checking the time, there was no way Chuuya had left at 7 in the morning.

Getting off bed, he goes to the living room to check, only to find Chuuya holding his “Complete Guide to Suicide” book that he threw away the night before. Hearing him entering, Chuuya looks up to Dazai. His expression is a mix of confusion, shock, and happiness.

“You threw away your book…?” Chuuya asks, still holding the book.

Dazai doesn’t answer. Instead, he approaches Chuuya, grabs the book and puts it back in the trash can without giving it a glance and hugs his boyfriend. Chuuya doesn’t need any verbal confirmation after that, so he hugs back with tears forming. This of course, didn’t go unnoticed by the other male.

“Are you crying, chibi?” Dazai asks softly with a hint of his usual playful tone, patting his lover’s head.

“Why wouldn’t I be? I’ve always been worried that you’ll one day end your life and I’ll come back home to nothing but a goodbye note,” Chuuya’s voice trembles, “I worry that I would be away when you need me the most, that I won’t be able to save you in time. I worry every single damn second of every day…”

“Shhh, it’s alright now, you can stop worrying. My goal was to commit a clean suicide without being a burden to anyone, but now that I have you, there’s no way I could ever do it,” Dazai says in a soft tone, patting Chuuya’s head.

The rest of the morning is spent in each other’s arms. For the first time, Chuuya is grateful that he doesn’t have a set schedule in the mafia, that way he can spend mornings like this without worry.

For the first time in a long time, Dazai can finally feel the warmth of someone’s embrace, and Chuuya can finally feel relieved after two years of endless worrying. The sun crawls through the window apartment as it marks a new chapter in these two’s journeys. Hopefully, it will always be this warm.

Ichiyo, you said the strangest thing at the manor was the hunters. Is there any hunter in particular you find the weirdest? Have you found out why they're so strange yet?

Do you guys talk to the hunters at all?

Higuchi: "Any hunter in particular? Hm.. I suppose the Dream Witch and the Feaster would be up there on the list. Hastur and Yidhra, right? If I remember correctly they’re some type of Lovecraft God. It makes me wonder what could’ve been of such interest to bring gods to the manor." Higuchi sighed. "Hopefully this investigation allows us to figure this out.."

"As for if I talk to the hunters, I try to. I want to learn of any possible information that can be useful to Mr. Akutagawa! … And the investigation, of course!"

Atsushi: "No, they don't tend to like me."

Bsd Calls/Texts Headcannon pt. 1

25 post event. 10/25. -pt. 2 (Dazai and Chuuya)

-how many text and calls can they respond to in general? Almost all of them.. like he's not a busy guy but at the same time he is.. like there's time that the agency don't need him at all and then there's times where they need all hands on deck.. so yeah.. Atsushi's availability is quite misplaced but he does respond to most of your calls/text

Texts

-how many texts during a week? At least 3 three times a week.. why? The answer to why he texts you in general will be answered in the next question but why only 3 per a week? That's simply because he doesn't need to have a question once everyday.. there's some days that he doesn't need to go out and get something

-What are most conversations about? Most of the conversations on text are basic planning.. most of times he goes there just to ask "do you need anything? I just finished work"... Yeah most conversations are about stuff like that.. or he goes there just to tell you he'll be late because of work

-how many texts do they give you? Probably 3 throughout the week, with the same reason

-how many texts do they respond to from you? I would say there's like a 87% chance they'll answer any texts you give them.. if he did not answer them then he's probably on a job quote and quotes (report)

-what would make them text you more? The only thing I can think of at the moment is if you're a slow writer.. like you need time to think before writing.. why? I honestly think that Atsushi is the type that want to know what to get before leaving.. like if you take a bit to respond he might just send you a text a couple minutes before he's allowed to go home.. like maybe an hour or 30 minutes before work is done he'll ask you if there's anything that you need in the house.. only for you to respond two minutes before work is done for him.. he's not judging but he's the type that wants to somewhat know what is needed before entering a store because he doesn't want to look like a lunatic looking for something he had no idea where to find

-an SOS and their meaning, if you say SOS in a text. It would mean we ran out of something and we need to buy more immediately.. yes the SOS on text is reserved to determine if the both of you are out of stock on a certain product that is necessary afford both of yours lifestyle

-my advice, should you text them regularly? Yes you should text him regularly because you never know when he's on a mission and most of the time he responds quickly.. so yes it's recommended, he doesn't mind texts because it's like a permanent message he can reread all the time and a call on the other hand he needs to replay dozens of time to get to a certain part he missed

Calls

-how many phone calls during a week? Probably 0 to 1 call per week.. why? There isn't much of a reason why he needs to call you

-What are most conversations about? Most conversations are probably to catch up.. like if he's on a long far away mission, then he probably won't see you in a few days. So he'll probably call just to make sure you're all right and mostly because he missed you voice because he sometimes has a tad bit of separation anxiety

-how many phone calls do they give you? As I said 1 phone call..

-how many phone calls do they respond to from you? If you were to call him, he'll try his best to respond immediately.. similar to this scene "here" with a 78% (at least until he gets used to the phone)

-what would make them call you more? Probably if the both of you spend so much time apart.. like I don't know maybe you have a business trip.. so that means you won't see you as much.. then he'll get a bit anxious and call you just to check in.. yes I believe he's the type to.. feel a bit anxious when he hasn't seen you for a while.. so he tries to call at a reasonable time to see if he could talk to you for a bit.. always mentions how much he misses you.. always..

-an SOS and their meaning, if you call in an SOS. It will mean that you're in danger or something very bad happen.. so it's like the last resort.. example if you're being attacked. You call Atsushi and say SOS as you are running in the current location you are at.. mind you you have your location on so he could easily track you.. then he'll show up at the last moment and take care of them.. obviously he handed them in to the cops..

-my advice, should you call them regularly? I would advise texting unless he's not in work hours.. because you never know when he's working and his phone will just go out while he's working.. so texting to bed option because it only makes one sound, that's it, one sound.. but a phone heard hand makes repetitive sounds for like a minute until it turns off on his own and mind you is very loud

General

-do they prefer phone calls or text (my opinion) as I mentioned probably Texts are better.. because of the reasons that he might be working and his phone ringtone is quite loud.. imagine if that goes off during a meeting.. A text on the other hand just makes one little notification every text.. so it isn't a problem because you'll probably only send one or two texts at once and then wait until Atsushi response.. he doesn't mind phone calls but please do it after work hours

Ryunosuke Akutagawa

-how many text and calls can they respond to in general? Honestly he doesn't respond to a lot of them.. like he's quite busy and he doesn't exactly stop to answer his phone unless it's work.. he does answer once in awhile but he just hopes that you refrain from calling or texting while he's working, fine maybe texts are allowed, but calling.. please do it when he's not working

Texts

-how many texts during a week? Probably 1 or 2 texts a week

-What are most conversations about? Most of the conversations are probably about something important.. like example if the both of you are in need of groceries and you politely asked him if he could get what's on the list then he might do it.. because 1. you asked nicely and there isn't much of a reason for him to say no 2. You need it, like it's something you need to survive 3. And the most important reason for him, he feels safe knowing that you're not wandering around in a grocery store (yes he feels anxious when you're outside without him)

-how many texts do they give you? Probably 0 Texts a week

-how many texts do they respond to from you? there's like a 07.8% that he'll ever respond to a text.. why? He feels like it's just a waste of time just to tap on the screen to respond somehow.. yes he prefers phone calls

-what would make them text you more? I can seriously imagine that perhaps you give him texts and when he doesn't respond it makes you upset.. like you're always wondering if you had seen the message or not.. so after he starts talking to Gin.. he's so found out that if you type just the letter k, it can mean okay but an abbreviation. So whenever he receives a message he writes the letter k and send as a sign of acknowledgment that he has received your text.. (he means "this" when he says k not "this")

-an SOS and their meaning, if you just type SOS with your location on then it means you're in danger. If you type SOS and then explain it means you're in mild danger but you're currently okay. If you write SOS at the end of your sentence it means he should remember this.. pretty simple right. :)

-my advice, should you text them regularly? I don't really advise it.. because for him is somewhat mumbling.. it's like you're just writing something and sending it to him and don't even bother to wait for his response.. but on a phone call you get to hear him voice out his thoughts in front of you with your full attention.. I don't advise texts unless you're sending a list of things you need

Calls

-how many phone calls during a week? 2 to 3 phone calls a week. Why, Akutagawa is one for phone calls. Like he prefers phone calls over texts because he gets to deal with whatever's going on right now instead of thinking of a phrase he must write out in order for you to understand what are he's saying.. because if he were to write the wrong thing.. then you might completely misunderstand him and that's very annoying, a big inconvenience and a nuisance

-What are most conversations about? The conversation are either check-ins or the phone call to ask if you need anything while he's walking back to the apartment

-how many phone calls do they give you? As I mentioned before it probably be 3 to 4 coming from him alone.why, he's one for phone calls.. it's his way of communicating with others

-how many phone calls do they respond to from you? There's a 89% chance he might respond to you.. even while he's currently working.. the only reason he might not respond is if he's not in the mood right now or if you don't have another phone call with someone from work (sorry but work is more important)

-what would make them call you more? I think you would call in more if you're very hazardous.. like you get hurt all the time, you get sick often, you feel unwell... You tend to like wandering often God who knows where.. he just calls to make sure that you're not being an idiot... Like you get him worried sick when you're wondering off at like 2:00 in the morning.. like one time he finds you out at a variety store for some reason at 2 in the morning he's like what are you doing I could get you something.. only for you to look around and realize that you're not at home and ask where were you.. it worries him because you didn't even know where you were.. that's probably a main reason why he would call often (if you're not like that, you do not need to worry)

-an SOS and their meaning, you don't even need to say SOS.. if you call him and immediately turn on your location and you are breathing heavily he knows something's wrong.. probably an SOS always means you're in danger. that's how it rolls

-my advice, should you call them regularly? Yes but refrain from calling him when he's at work..

General

-do they prefer phone calls or text (my opinion) I believe he's personally into phone calls because they're not much he needs to do, all he needs to do is just click the button to respond and speak off his mind like he's having a conversation to someone in person.. but a text on the other hand he needs to write out everything he's thinking which can become very annoying and a very long process.. so we prefer the phone call because phone calls go pretty quickly if everyone stays on topic.. he gets to walk and do whatever the heck he wants while he's speaking it's not like he's texting and he can't multitask unlike when he's on the phone

BSD Chapter 88

Chapter name is “Like it is tumbling down”.

This chapter is even more shocking than the last one, in a not very good way for me. I’m kinda speechless right now cuz there was no instance that I ever came up with this scenario before. It is a nice twist though, and I’m not sure what to expect at this point any more so hopefully you enjoy this chapter.

(^ This should have been the sweetest scene ever T^T )

Neither English nor Japanese is my native language so I do make mistake here and there. Just me know if there is any part that is unclear or if you spot any mistakes.

SPOILERS AHEAD

- So it is the continuation of the last chapter, where Akutagawa received a fatal blow from Fukuchi. Atsushi freaks but Aku smiles instead and tells him to run away. Fukuchi realizes that Aku is using himself as a decoy for Atsushi to escape. Atsushi got on the submarine and drove it away. Fukuchi wanted to chase after him but suddenly the security guards arrived at the scene (that was the guy whose life Aku spared in like 2 chapters ago). He immediately calls the land to report the situation in front of Fukuchi, which forces Fukuchi to act like he is trying to stop the terrorist. Fukuchi considers cutting into the past and kill the guards to seal their mouths, but stops because they were calling the land on the way before arriving at the scene and killing them at that time can cause the land to notice.

- Fukuchi finds it strange that Atsushi was saved by the “guards who happened to arrive by chance” but then decide that it is okay because there are only 5 days left until his plan happens, and he doesn’t feel the need to hide it anymore. When Fukuchi leaves, the guard looks at Aku’s body and says sorry because what he could do is nothing compared to the favor Aku has given him by sparing his life.

- Atsushi manages to escape and meets with Ango. He doesn’t understand why Aku lets him escape, but he understand that if Aku didn’t keep his promise and kill that person, then he would not be able to escape at all, and all the hopes will be lost. He wonder if it is just a coincidence or is there any important meaning to it. He asks Ango but never gets an answer.

- Back to Aku and Fukuchi, Fukuchi comes back to Aku’s body with a coffin on his back, saying he still has something for Aku to do. He opens the coffin and inside is the last member of The Decay of Angles, the undead Bram Stoker (TN: in case you don’t know he is the author who created Dracula). Bram says he wants to sleep while cursing the irreverent fools, which seems to refer to Fukuchi. Fukuchi replies that it is impossible and grabs Bram’s neck and take him out of the coffin. It is shown that Bram only has his head left, with a sword pierced into it. Fukuchi then explains that Bram used to be a human, a Count, who used his ability to change his body cells and transformed into Dracula. He is weak to the sun and used to be known as one of the ten “plagues of Egypt”. Bram says that he never hears of that nickname until his head was cut off by Fukuchi.

- Fukuchi tells Bram to behave because they are on the same boat anyway, adn that Fukuchi even prepares food for him (he is referring to Aku). Bram looks at Aku’s body and refuses to suck his blood, because ever since he was called a calamity 8 years ago, he has decided not to have any more kins. He says that if Fukuchi wants to burn the world, he should just do it himself. However Fukuchi threatens that he would use the sword that is currently piercing into Bram’s body to burn his brain. Bram cannot go against that, saying it is impossible to curse Fukuchi because Fukuchi is a curse himself. Then he bites Aku.

- A few days later, Higuchi receives a letter. She runs out and find Aku still being alive. She is so happy because they are just preparing for his funeral. She says that she finally understands how much she will regret it if things just end like that without her being able to tell him anything. Then she tries to confess her feelings to him (I supposed) but all of the sudden, Aku turns around, looking completely non-human.

- The scene changes to the Hunting Dog’s base, where Tachihara is reporting the incident. After Higuchi comes back she attacks Gin and Hirotsu, turning them into vampire-like beings. Hirotsu manages to help Tachihara escape but a large number of Mafia members have been infected. The Hunting Dogs discuss on how to stop it but the infection speed is too fast they cannot do anything. The only way is to find the ability user that causes it and kill him. However they don’t know who the source might be. Tecchou is sure that it is ADA’s doing again, as the next step in their terror plan. He says it with such a serious face that Jouno looks very surprised and says he should mark this date on the calendar (lol).

- Teruko says that if it is really caused by ADA then it will be quite troublesome because ever since the live broadcasting incident, there are at least 30% of the police in Yokohama who side with them. Jouno then states that even inside the Hunting Dogs, there is also that “30%” while looking at Tachihara. Tachihara explains that he just feels the need to reinvestigate because the ADA cannot be terrorists. He heard ADA members talk about being set up many times in the Mafia hiding house, but ignored it that time. He says that he made a miscalculation and that the real culprit is somewhere out there. He wants to be given authority to investigate it. All the Hunting Dogs member then look at Fukuchi sitting at the end of the room and ask what he thinks about it.

the keys click underneath your fingers, a rhythmic sound with an abrupt stop. your eyes stare at the screen, maybe a bit too long on a particular image. you rest your head in the palm of your hand, eyes blinking away the clouds of fantasy. you sigh.

I could be your love song if you're alone

"why are you looking at traditional wedding attire?" a voice rasps from above you, startling you.

you jump, hurriedly switching screens with a swipe of your fingers, "ryuunosuke, you scared the shit out of me!"

he merely coughs with one hand covering his mouth, sitting down at the table with you. he sets his cup of tea down next to a small stack of paperwork, eyes glancing towards you a couple times.

even on your supposed day off, you both still had work to finish; you are halfway through writing a report, and he has written plans to look over and co-sign. both of your assignments were handed to you by chuuya, who had a daunting stack of reports to look over on his desk. no shortage of paperwork in the port mafia these days, but who's to say if that's good or bad?

"you didn't answer my question." akutagawa states, grabbing the pen sitting on the table.

"that's because...my curiosity got the best of me." you vaguely answer, hoping he'd leave it at that.

akutagawa wasn't one to ask too many questions, unless it was an interrogation. you were even lucky if he asked you a single question that wasn't work related. you had come to realize that's just how he is, but it's not because he doesn't care. akutagawa cares in his own way; he was very observant, and even if he didn't ask, he was always listening. you're hoping that today isn't the day when he decides to be more curious-

"your curiosity?" he vexes.

you scratch the back of your neck, smiling awkwardly, "well, y-you know..."

But if you say the right things all the wrong ways You will find it harder just to get out alive

he looks at you expectantly, picking up one of the papers from the stack. you gulp, a bit flustered that he's really going to make you spell it out for him. you knew akutagawa was aloof, but you didn't think by this much.

your cheeks flush, "doesn't it seem just a little too obvious?"

"obviously not." he answers, his eyes now scanning the words on the page.

you screw your eyes shut, his answer making you squirm nervously. why can't he just pick up on the hints you're dropping? you were literally looking at wedding attire! he has to be messing with you. the only problem is that you don't recall akutagawa ever telling a joke in his life.

you bite your lip, debating in your head if it's better to just be direct with it or continue being vague until he gives up. that would only irritate him though, and instead of just dropping the issue, he'd probably give you the silent treatment for the rest of the day.

akutagawa continues to glance at you through your silent internal battle, waiting for an answer. he doesn't really see why this is such a predicament, he only asked a question. it seemed rather simple too. he loops his fingers through the handle of his teacup and brings it up to his lips. his eyes close as the aroma of the earl grey hits his nose.

you decide to just be direct about it; rip the bandaid off and deal with the consequences. after all, you're sure he wouldn't ever do it. you're gonna have to be the one to take this big step. your heart hammers in your chest as you take a deep breath.

"marry me?"

choking. the sound of akutagawa coughing fills the dining room, some of his tea now spilt across the table, as well as splatters on his white shirt and stack of papers. your eyes widen and you rise from your seat, about to run to his side, when he stops you with one noise.

"HAH?!"

"i-i asked you to marry me." you answer slowly, preparing for rejection.

he had rejected you once in the past before you started dating, so it's not like it'd be the first time. perhaps you did spring it on him; you wouldn't be surprised if he said no.

a rosy pink blooms across his cheeks as he catches his breath. akutagawa had never thought of marriage. he never imagined he would live past his preteen years, let alone get married one day! his mind was running at top speed, words sporadically flying around his brain but none coming out of his mouth. he's heard and seen a lot of surprising things, but this one takes the cake.

how is he supposed to respond? his immediate thought is no, but seeing the way you look at him, with melancholic puppy dog eyes and your vulnerability sitting like a raincloud above your head, he finds it hard to reject you. a weird emotion-- one he rarely feels unless when with you, swirls in his chest. he couldn't understand how you could have such an effect on him, quite a bothersome one too.

he closes his eyes and turns his head away from you, "f-fine. tch. what a ridiculous way to ask, you made me spill my tea."

akutagawa hears you gasp and can only imagine the stupid grin sitting on your face. you always got excited when he agreed to do something with you, he didn't understand why. he only ever felt like he was going to throw up when you'd pester him about dates, but he always assumed it was because of bad food.

"really?" you whisper in disbelief.

it was less of a question for him and more of a reality check for you. he actually said yes. well, he didn't say yes, but he definitely didn't say no.

he coughs in response, if you can count that as one. he looks back down at his papers, trying to hide his flustered state from you, and sees the brown tea stains on them. he can't believe you made him choke, what an unnecessarily strong reaction.

"you owe me more tea."

Request: Hi again, I was wondering if you could do headcanons about atsushi nakajima with female s/o who had similiar ability to him expect his s/o can transform into a dragon? I was shy about requesting this particular request of mine :')

🐅 The first time that he was introduced to you he was told that you were very similar to him but no one explained why. 🐅 He didn’t ask at first, worried that they were talking about him being an orphan or homeless before the ADA took you in, he didn’t want to upset you. 🐅 He noticed that you liked a lot of shiny things, they littered your desk and you always wore jewellery. If he were to see your apartment he’d notice that it was a running theme. 🐅 That being said, you ended up with the agency because Kunikida found you pickpocketing some not-so-savoury people. 🐅 You were brilliant, you could keep up with Ranpo on a good day filling in the logic where he provided an answer, you’d make it a game, and sometimes he’d turn to you and ask you to explain. 🐅 You would literally talk your way out of trouble a lot of the time it was with Kunikida, you liked to talk yourself out of missions that you didn’t find very interesting. 🐅 Confidence rolled off of you in waves and nothing seemed to shake it, no matter what anyone said to or did. 🐅 The first time that he saw you use your ability it was when Akutagawa appeared to take him, he was ready for the hit but it never came when he opened his eyes, you were standing in front of him.

“Dragon shifter.” You were unscathed, your scales too thick for him to cut through as you smiled at him. “Hi there Akutagawa.” You waved. “How’s it going?” “Get out of the way.” He ordered. “Can’t do that.” You shrugged, Atsushi’s eyes were drawn to the lizard-like tail that swished around behind you, Akutagawa attacked again and this time you caught Rashumon in your hand taking note of the scales on your arm he frowned. “Atsushi we should go.” Junichiro said as he stepped forward. “You aren’t going anywhere!” Higuchi yelled from behind you and you groaned. “This far more trouble then it is worth, Dazai I swear to god I’m gonna kill you.” You mumbled to yourself as wings sprouted from your back, your body gained mass as the scales that covered your arms grew to cover you whole body, you wings stretching out scooped your allies closer to you keeping them shielded as Higuchi started shooting. A Harsh growl came from you as you whipped at her with your tail, she dove out of the way as you attention turned back to the more dangerous Akutagawa sending Rashumon out to attack at the same time. Your front foot crushed it to the ground before it made contact with any of your friends coming to a stalemate. “Alright! That’s enough.” Dazai said appearing between the both of you and nullifying your abilities. “If you ever so much as suggest a mission to me in the future the answer is no.” You said as you pointed at him. “Aww don’t be like that.” Dazai whined and you narrowed your eyes at him before turning to the mafia agents. “If you two ever attempt to kill me again you best hope you succeed because I don’t give third chances.” You warned as you grabbed Atsushi and Naomi (who grabbed Junichiro) and started towards the end of the alleyway. “We’ll be back to claim the weretiger!” Akutagawa called after you and you looked back at him and smirked. “And I’ll single handedly put you sick ass in the ground if you do or would you prefer cremation.” You warned him.

When you got back to the office, you made the others get checked by the doc while you went back to your desk, you were about half way through a half assed report when Atsushi sat down in front of you “you turn into a dragon.” He said and you looked at him and nodded. “I turn into a dragon.” You confirmed. “Do you… Do you think you could help me?” He asked. “With..?” You asked. “My transformations…” He answered. “I can try.” You nodded. “There are probably some things that don’t translate.” “Like what?” Atsushi asked. “I’m pretty sure that you don’t breathe fire.” You smiled and he laughed while scratching the back of his neck. “You might be right about that.” He nodded.

🐅 Through the training sessions you got to know each other a lot better. 🐅 He found out that they had put him in the apartment next door to yours. You guys ended up spending a lot of time together because you were also around the same age. 🐅 You ended up on dates without even realising it as you showed him around the city and bought food you knew that he would like. When you guys got together, you became more protective of him. 🐅 Atsushi often finds himself thinking that you were too good for him especially when you run over to him with a new gift. 🐅 Even your animal forms seemed to get on very well. 🐅 You were always there no matter what happened, you had his back and he was always there for you. Eventually, it was known that you were never seen apart. 🐅 There was a small area in the office building where you had built a little nest of pillows and people would often find the two of you in there, one of you writing reports while the other napped. 🐅 He often kept you warm because of the reptilian side you ran colder than more people and you felt it too. 🐅 When it came down to it everyone thought that you were cute and you loved each other until the end of the earth and you would never let anything happen to the other one no matter what.
