- Bokuto absolutely love love loves that you enjoy cheerleading! Even if youâre not an official cheerleader for his team, he enjoys seeing you cheer for him in the stands and always looks for you to see your reactions when he does something particularly cool, and when he gets in slumps during games he now looks to you in the audience for a cheer as a pick-me-up rather than forcing Akaashi to give him another pep talk lol
- I can totally see Bokuto being the type of boyfriend to regularly bring food with him whenever the two of you hang out over at your house. Heâs pretty much always hungry and knows what you like, so he frequently picks up some chicken sandwiches from your favorite restaurant and two slices of cheesecake from a local bakery on his way! Itâs sort of become a ritual for the two of you after his games, and it always manages to lift his mood whether heâs won or lost :)
- Bokuto knows how much he loves having you come see his games, it means a lot to him to see you there and knowing you took the time out of your day to be supportive always warms his heart before a match. So in return, he always makes sure to attend all your choir concerts and your theater performances, no matter how he has to rearrange his schedule to do so <3 He wants to make sure you always feel supported and loved by him, and that you know that heâs just as committed to you as you are to him!
- And because youâre in choir, he also really loves hearing you sing :) Whenever he catches you singing when youâre over at his house or vice versa heâs quick to run into the room with a big grin and joins you (no matter how off-key he is lol he just wants to share the moment with you). And, on those rare days when heâs truly feeling down and having a hard time, he likes to lay his head in your lap and have you sing to him until he eventually drifts off for a nap :>
- I also think Bokuto would be a complete sucker for your curly hair, he just thinks itâs so so pretty! He loves watching you style it or do your hair-care if you have a specific routine and does his best to learn how when he does watch, so if you ever ask him to help he does his absolute best! He just loves getting to help you however he can, and he always thinks you look so pretty at the end <3
- He really really likes your signature scents as well, they both smell so nice to him and always remind him of you :> If he ever has a game away from school that you canât join him for (after getting all pouty and whining about how much heâll miss you lol) he always borrows one of your perfumes and spays it on his favorite jacket, because smelling the scent manages to comfort him and make it feel like youâre still there with him in some way. He sees it as a good luck charm <3
- I donât really see Bokuto as a big reader, he doesnât hate it or anything but itâs just never really caught his attention and heâs so busy that he just doesnât often have time to pick up a book and relax. When you two start spending the night together more often, though, sometimes if thereâs a book youâre really into heâll let you read it aloud to him before bed and gets invested into the plot with you, or if you ask him to read a specific book, he does his best to (slowly) listen to the audiobook in his free time!
- Honestly I could see Bokuto being really into k-pop as well! He loves either bright bubblegum concepts or super aggressive, energetic ones (I can see him loving a lot of ânoise musicâ songs, as someone who loves that kind of music myself lol) and whether or not he can dance, sometimes he tries practicing some of the choreography as a work-out if he doesnât feel up to going to the gym some days! Heâs also the perfect concert buddy, he gets so excited and loves singing along and doing all the fanchants alongside you!
- Bokuto very much has the same extroverted, bubbly/energetic and sometimes chaotic vibes that you do once youâre comfortable with someone, so the two of you match each otherâs energy really well :D Youâre the first person he goes to when heâs excited about something because he knows youâll be just as giddy and excited as he is, and he just feels so happy and hyped up whenever heâs around you because you manage to return that same energy and excitement back to him!
- Though heâs a total sweetheart, Bokuto also doesnât tolerate rude or disrespectful people in any form. Whether theyâre targeting you directly or just making you uncomfortable and you donât want to say anything, heâs quick to step in and tell them to get lost because he doesnât like seeing you so overwhelmed or stressed out! He always wants you to feel at ease with him, and heâll happily get rid of any disturbances in order to ensure that you do :D
Second Choice:
I also strongly considered Nishinoya when deciding your match-up, and I considered Akaashi as well! Noya gives me similar vibes to Bokuto in a lot of ways, and I could also see the two of you meshing really well together! For Akaashi heâs more subdued then the other two, but heâs incredibly supportive and may be a bit more of a balance for your extroversion, especially since heâs already best friends with Bokuto lol, but in the end I felt Bokuto just fit the best with your personality and interests :)

sorry its been an awful while since i last sent an ask ^^; life sure has been busy in more ways than one haha. i hope life has been treating you well!! hopefully youâre able to enjoy yourself and the joys daily life brings us :D lately ive been trying to think of things that really make me happy even if its a small thing like âim glad i brushed my hair it looks lovely!â hopefully you can do the same if possible. i think its good to have that little light of joy with is especially when days are dreadful. even something like im glad i had a little chat with that person..it was nice :> (i often find myself having that as my daily answer for things that bring me joy especially when i talk to my discord friends ^^). ive said this probably more times than i can count in my asks but since its winter earth is in the right spot to have a better view of the stars and so they appear so much brighter; especially the milky way ð« i hope that despite whatever daily challenges you may have that you are able to not let that stop you from enjoying your life :> make sure to drink and eat something if you can - our bodies are alive too so lets take care of them ð€ðª hopefully this can help you too but i find when days are hard i like to remind myself that stars can die any-day despite the regret that maybe they didnât make the most of what they wanted in life so i like to think âoh wow if thatâs the case im going to live my life in a way that makes me happy instead of appeasing others.â that most likely doesnât make sense but thatâs okay haha maybe one day it will ^^ life can be a bitch sometimes but as long as we have our jar of stars that are joy with us we can overcome anything. whether it be artblock or mental health, anything that it is you can make it through it ðª loads of ppl love you and care for you so hopefully youâll always know that <3 *gives u a hug and some of those cosmic brownies with peppermint hot chocolate* i hope life treats you right because you deserve every ounce of love, happiness, and peace there is. love you!/p

Seeing you wake up with bedhead not only makes him giggle but heâll either run his hands through it to tame it or sometimes even playfully ruffle it a bit depending on how heâs feeling, and heâs also the kind of boyfriend who makes you lunch and writes a sweet, unique note in it every single day no matter what <3 Heâs also always taking your hand in his and rubbing his thumb over your knuckles or bringing them up to his mouth for a kiss, or helping you to bed when you've had a long day and passed out on the couch waiting for him to come home as he tucks you in and snuggles up to you with a kiss on the forehead <3 Your guysâ relationship is so soft and domestic itâs absolutely adorable
- And he definitely plans the cutest, sweetest dates for the two of you. Heâs the type to never raise his voice at you no matter how upset he is, he doesnât find it productive or helpful at all and it only hurts you (and honestly, he just doesnât like yelling at all) so he never does it. He tries his best to always resolve issues before going to bed, and whenever heâs upset, he wonât hide it but will bring it up in a gentle way. When you come to him with issues, he does his best to listen without getting defensive and apologizes when necessary, and because of how well you both communicate with each other and how you both prioritize each otherâs feelings even during disagreements, you rarely ever have serious arguments and are constantly bettering yourselves and your relationship together
- Heâs also so, so good at comforting you <3 He knows it can be hard to tell even those youâre closest with when youâre feeling anxious or just having a rough day, so over time heâs learned some of the biggest signs and tells of your anxiety worsening so he can comfort you without you needing to explicitly ask him to. He always starts by making you a nice warm cup of tea and putting a nice, clean set of the softest sheets you own on the bed, and then he invites you to join him and lay in his arms in bed, though he doesnât push if you say no. If you let him he rubs your back or rubs his hands gently up and down your arms, listening if you want to vent or tell him about how youâre feeling and reassuring you with such kind, loving words it makes your heart melt. He never gets tired or annoyed of reassuring you, he loves you and is more than willing to make sure you know that all the time
- And when he knows youâre going through a rough patch mentally, he likes making you little self-care packs filled with some of your favorite things. He keeps a list of specific things he knows you enjoy in his phone, like specific scents you mention liking a lot, so when youâre having a tough week youâll come home one day and find a basket sitting on your bed filled with a new squishmallow, some cozy, fuzzy socks with cute patterns on them, your favorite brand of tea packets, a lotion/perfume duo in your favorite scent, some new lip balm, a few sweet snacks he knows are your favorite, a brand new mug or a new book, and his hoodie tucked beneath it all along with a note detailing all of the many, many things he loves about you <3
- He also really, truly appreciates how perceptive, and empathetic, and comforting you can be when heâs going through a hard time. Heâs not always one whoâs quick to speak up when heâs feeling down or going through something, so having a partner like you who knows him so well that you catch his troubles before he tells you about him is such a relief to him, and your comfort and emotional support during these times is the one thing that keeps him going when he feels like he canât share that part of himself with anyone else <3 Heâs careful to never take for granted your kindness and support or abuse your gentle side in any way, but heâs truly thankful for the way you open him up to receiving kindness and support
- On a lighter note, I think Akaashi is definitely the kind of boyfriend whoâs willing to deal with bugs for you :> He usually prefers to take them outside if he can rather than killing them, but they literally donât phase him at all so when he hears you shrieking across the house about a bug you found he just lets out a soft chuckle before grabbing some paper and a cup and getting up to take care of it for you <3
- He love love loves listening to your rambles too, he thinks one of your most endearing habits is how you love to share all the things you learn with him even when itâs about totally random things like the effects of glucose :) And he IS genuinely listening I promise, he actively engages in the conversation and adds stuff if itâs something he knows about because he loves being able to go back and forth with you and give you a chance to share all of the knowledge you collect (and be able to share his as well when he has the opportunity!)
- Also he definitely thinks youâre so so pretty, and he tells you this very frequently. He thinks your glasses look absolutely adorable on you, and heâs particularly fond of the beauty mark beneath your eye and your dimples :> Theyâre prime kissing points for him, heâs constantly absentmindedly leaning in and kissing you in one of these spots because he just finds them so unique and pretty and does it without even thinking most times
- He also really like participating in more of your active hobbies with you! Biking and hiking are both things he finds super interesting and help him get his work-outs in during volleyball season, so he loves going out with you and even sometimes brings stuff along so that once the two of you have finished your hike, you can have a cute little picnic at your final destination with some of your favorite homemade foods and treats <3
- Bonus: This is short but honestly I just think he'd really vibe with your music tastes and would listen to a lot of the same artists you do (I get the feeling he'd be a Lana fan in particular personally) so he loves sharing playlists with you since you two already listen to so much of the same music!)

I very, VERY seriously considered matching you with Daichi, and he was actually my initial thought when I read about the things youâd like in a partner in particular (since he has a lot of those same qualities as Akaashi, where heâs the level-headed, gentle kind of person and a great communicator as well).
