btw i loved this so much i love it when rick gets super excited about something and his first instinct is to include morty in it by venting his excitement through stuff like grabbing him and shaking him around and getting up in his face. it’s a really subtle demonstration of like oh that’s how you know you really love someone and it means a lot to me . and also the fact that in this case what rick is getting SO worked up about is the fact that he’s gonna be spending time with morty

Im really like, broken up about how marcy would feel if she knew what simon was going through mentally. the world is finally at peace for you bc you have your girlfriend and the man that you consider more of a father than your actual father is BACK he's whole again. but only to you. to him he's in a world he doesn't know anymore and can't seem to fit back into but you don't know that bc he knows that you're happy and he doesn't really want to break that illusion. bc he finally has that girl he protected back. but also that little girl is grown and has lived hundreds of years in this crazy world that you lost time to. lost time with her to. do you even know her anymore?
