to me, cross would either feel VERY DEVASTATED about killer's death and would just. yknow linger around or stuff OR could try to move on but he can't not with the very. VERY big empty space in his soul that he holds dearly to

but KILLER? oh, i KNOW that bitch would be full on in the ground once he lost the only person he could talk to in this purgatorial hell they're stuck in and now he's all alone. he keeps trinkets of what cross had given to him, sure but it's still not enough to fill that lonely, lonely void of his life. what once was the only light he could cling onto has disappeared, and now he's just a moth in the dark, with no light to be seen.

he keeps the stars with him, when he can. he tries to not put it on too often, afraid that when the batteries die out, he'd lost of what's been very valuable between the both of them, but in the same time, he wants to turn it on as often as he can, because he wanted to remember the little things Cross has given to him before he dusted. it was a double-edged sword he fought with.
