This is not cannon, as the weird route is finished and it will not be added upon. But.......I often find myself wanting to draw for it. So here you are...

The weird route ends abruptly and without art for a reason. I wanted to make it painfully obvious that as YOU continue the route/story YOU stop getting anything out of it. You're only hurting the characters, and by the end, there's nothing left to do except start over.

I had thought of Asriel discovering Chara...well, dead. But I think that would have been too much for the scene. I didn't want to get any more depressing than it already was.

tbh I only hope that I can make an ending even half as good as this one. I still think about it often and I'm proud of the amount of work I put into it.

Wasn't that happy with my canon slugcat designs so i decided to upgrade em ! Much happier with them now

updated headcanons under the cut :-)

Survivor & Monk Your average slugcats, ordinary members of their species, two siblings of the same litter, Monk being a runt. They both have matching ear scars.

Nightcat Melanistic slugcat, distant relative of Monk and Survivor's. They are rarely seen during the day and so have become a sort of cryptid in the eyes of both scavengers and other slugcats.

Spearmaster Only a few of the holes in their tail actually create spikes that are big and sturdy enough to be used as weapons, the smaller holes instead constantly create smaller, more fragile spikes that either eventually break or naturally fall off. Their fur is spiky to the touch, tough not necessarily dangerous.

Artificer Their "fur" is actually thick scar tissue that was left untreated and hardened creating a mass of stiff skin. They also have a dewlap but it shrunk due to malnutrition along with their now skinny tail. Their teeth are gold yellow and their saliva is explosive, when unarmed they will spit as a threat display.

Rivulet A subspecies of slugcat that evolved to be semiaquatic, their big wet eyes allow them to see underwater, they have third eyelids and their long slim body facilitates swimming and makes them quite agile. Their fur is much shorter instead they secrete an oily substance that protects their skin and keeps them moist.

Gourmand A normal slugcat, just one that's very good at survival, they have a dewlap aswell as a big round tail, the sign of a healthy specimen as their tail stores extra fat.

Hunter Common slugcat who was iterator modified at a very young age, their rot bumps very often itch and are quite irritating while their rot "tentacles" are very short but will still gravitate towards smaller creatures and attempt to grab them if they come too close. The scars on their tail were early attempts to remove their own rot.

Saint Another slugcat subspecies, one that was able to adapt to the extreme cold, they are very small in size but make up for it with their dense fur. Their saliva is thick to protect their tongue from frostbite.

I’ve got like, so many ideas

So, for the three kings story line, I basically took the Petregroff storyline, added in the origin of the lich, and then also took Betty and Marceline’s story roles, mushed them together, and then distributed different aspects of said roles evenly amongst each twin. Both Stan and Ford are half demon, Ford was Fiddleford’s college buddy who was there when he initially put the crown on, Stan journeyed with Fiddleford during the apocalypse, hunted down vampires and later became one, and now spends his days driving himself crazy trying to cure Fiddleford (and perhaps Ford too, though Stan sees that one as a more hopeless endeavor considering Fords current state of living).

Stan’s got a lot going on definitely. He’s doing both Marceline and Betty things, while assisting Dipper and Mabel (who’s birth he’s partially responsible for) with their Candy Kingdom. He’s also collecting and studying magic to help his fellow kings, and, in his spare time, playing some bluegrass, cause Fiddleford taught him how to play banjo and Stan will not let those lessons go to waste, nor will he let Fiddleford’s favorite music genre die. That being said tho, Stan’s style of music is more folkrock/folkpunk than bluegrass. (And yes, he turned the Family Axe ™️ into a banjo)

Unnamed. My favorite old OC, and my first. An experiment, not meant to live outside of a tube. He was used as a test dummy for the implementation of different animal limbs on living tissue.

I don’t know. His sadness has always been very moving to me.

As a treat, you all get a concept/preview of my designs for the hollowheads!

A few lil artist notes will be underneath if you want more details on my thought process while designing them 💖💖

I always had the idea of the hollowheads’ bodies being based on various shapes, with the goal of their silhouettes being as distinct from each other as possible.

I wanted Chosen and Dark to kinda be like the opposite of each other; hence why they’re both based on triangles facing differently. They both needed to be muscular in their own way with Chosen being more bottom heavy and Dark being more top heavy.

The goal for Sec was to hand him stand out from the other 3 hollowheads in various ways; having his body be based on two triangles n having his body had outlines based on that of a figure drawing. And with vic, I wanted him to reflect Second in some shape or form; having his body be based on a diamond (which can be made with two triangles) and have outlines/cracks all over his body to symbolize how his trauma effected him.

vic also needed to stand out from the rest and I believe his eyes do a good job at that. The other hollowheads can’t open their eyes unless their powers are in use/activated but victim is a special case where his eyes physically cannot shut even if he tried. I debated on putting cracks in his eyes but decided against it cause I thought it would be a bit much and I think doing so would’ve made his eyes stick out less when they’re the focal point of his design
