Skater Boy

A poster-like kind of art this time!

Caíque loves sports and is practically adapt to nearly all of them, but skateboarding is definitely his top favorite! Danika and Luke are also familiar with the activity and tend to tag along with him to hangout at the park from time to time :D

Sometimes tho, there are moments where Caíque participates in friendly duels between fellow skaters, which is when Danika and her cousin just prefer to sit back and watch, cheering their friend on to victory!

Environment Concepts in TS4

Im a person who struggles a lot when it comes to environments or backgrounds in general, especially when having to figure out how stuff is decorated, and with Street Dogs is no different-

So thats why Im using The Sims 4 to help me conceptualize scenarios! Depending on how close they are to what I have in mind, I may use the screencaps as backgrounds in the comics or draw over a few things to make it suit better

For example, here are some shots of how Danika's room is supposed to look like!

Like I said, I may draw over some things, but thought itd be good info to show how Ill be doing the background work and also good tip for those of u who struggle with this as well! :D

Nick (he/him) - Pyromancer Hunter - Son of a single and mechanic dad - Loves playing the guitar! Dreams of playing in a band someday

Jayce (he/him) - Sage Hunter - Has 2 pet cockatiels and a parrot - Very calm and nice, it's hard to have something against him

Ash (he/him) - Jade's friend, studies in her former school - Member of The Graveyard Kids band - Has an unrequited crush on Jade

Gabriel (he/him) - Cursed human, enslaved by a wizard - Does not remember anything about his past - Allergic to cats

Antônio Miguel AKA Miguel, Tony (he/him) - He's the one who rides the bus that picks up Hunters from Venatio Academy to bring them to the Bloodhound camp! - Has had a few Monster encounters in the past, hence the scars all over his body - Himbo on the low

Maya's younger brother, Arthur, was born with health problems and has lived in a wheelchair for the most of his life, which his fam struggled to afford at first

Despite everything, he's a very positive child and tries to enjoy his time the best way he can. Maya does her best to keep her brother entertained and cares a lot about him, but is not always able to keep company due to her own needs

Daisy's appearance in their lives surely was unexpected, scary even, but more than welcome once she and Arthur started developing a mutual friendship

Maya is aware of the dangers in this situation, but who would have the heart to take away someone's friend?

For no reason in particular, how is Daisy? I hope she is doing well. Also hope her holidays went well!

Not rlly!

Due to how history went between Monsters and Hunters, they do tend to be quite prejudicial towards each other, but such differences are now encouraged to be overlooked for the sake of peace between these races

While some Monsters still do not trust neither humans or Hunters and prefer to do as they please with no regards for the other species, there are many who wish to help in maintaining a nice relationship and even help Hunters on solving supernatural problems!

These are some of the friendly Monsters that shall be appearing in future stories!

Venatio Academy's Counselor and Principal

The Neves are a rich family that's mostly consisted of Hunters, whom many are still active in the area of protecting humanity from supernatural dangers. Amongst their heroic deeds, there's the construction of the Venatio Academy, a safe haven for newfound Hunters to learn more about themselves and the world they live in, aside from the usual scholar material. Liubert is the current principal, a title that has passed down from generation to generation until it got to his hands. He's a very responsible leader, despite being as soft as a marshmallow.

Miles is usually the one in charge of introducing the new Hunters into the Bloodhound League, revealing their true nature to them and allowing the newbloods to decide whether they'd like to play their part in protecting humankind or not. For both scenarios, he's the one who provides all the guidance they need until making it into the Bloodhound camp.

Liu and Miles have been longtime partners inside the Hunter field and administer the school together, sharing its ownership between each other depending on whatever has to be done. A true brotherhood feeling between these 2 old, experienced and especially tired men.

Street Dogs is an original universe and upcoming comic created by @skyartworkzzz

In a world where all sorts of supernatural Monsters exist, humans with angelic souls are in charge of keeping these beasts under control and hunting down any potential threats to humanity, hence why those of this race came to be known as Hunters

Danika is a new student at a peculiar school named Venatio Academy, where she learned about her identity as a Hunter and the existence of a community known as The Bloodhound League. Wishing to understand this new world better and play her part in the whole "saving humanity" scheme, Danika will experience every possible challenge in order to become stronger and help those around her, at least the ones she's able to reach Hopefully, there will still be enough time for homework...

Street Dogs contains the following sensitive topics:

Sexual activity (no explicit images will be shown, everything will stay suggestive at max)

Drug usage/abuse (cigarettes, alcohol, pills, etc)

Violence (no extreme gore or extensive descriptions will be shown, but do expect to see blood)

Physical and mental abuse (while the gaslighting will be more explicit, there won't be images of physical violation)

Religious reinterpretations (remember that this is a fictional universe and not everything potrayed here necessarily represents real life concepts accurately)

Hello! Okay so

The world generally does NOT know about the existence of Hunters and Monsters. This was never meant to be kept as a secret, but as time went by, ignorance started growing to be the norm amongst humans until the existence of both races were forgotten by them. Due to this, the Hunters have decided to keep the supernatural world a secret in order to avoid panic, confusion or other intense responses that would lead to chaotic scenarios like civil wars or mass persecution (towards both the Monsters and Hunters).

Demons are a TYPE of Monster. Monsters are the general and official race. A Demon in this world would fall under the class of Ghosts/Spirits, being an evil type of entity that holds the power to lure preys in by disguising themselves as a loved one, playing with their victims' minds and eventually possessing them in order to have a physical manifestation in the human realm. Unlike most depictions, these demons do not have horns or tails but rather the form of a black silhouette, with glowing white eyes that may pop up from time to time. They litr look like a shadow.

I intend on making a post eventually to further explain the existence of Monsters and Hunters and how they coexist with Humans! But for now, thats the summary <3

THE HUNTER GIFTS (ENG)

Hey guys! I finally figured out the symbols that represent each Hunter ability in Street Dogs! So Ill take the opportunity to already explain a bit about how they all work

This guide will show the meaning behind the symbols and what each ability does!

ALSO, since all of them have this, Ill just say it now: every symbol has a fish in it, which represents the Hunter, making an analogy at how they are "followers" of a God

The Gift of the 7th Sense:

Hunters with this ability are addressed as Empaths or Shields

The fish has a circle in the middle which makes it look like an eye almost, and that's precisely what the Gift of the 7th Sense is about: seeing what others cannot

A Hunter with the 7th sense has the ability to detect presences, let it be of other Hunters, Monsters or even Humans (hence why they're usually addressed as Empaths, due to acknowledging different auras)

This also includes perceiving occult things or people; they will be able to detect its presences as well

If developed enough, these Hunters are also able to expand the range of their own aura in order to repel bad ones (hence why they're also called Shields)

The Gift of Judgment:

Hunters with this ability are called Judges

The fish is turned upwards to represent its connection with the divine. The shape around it is a supposedly triangle with an additional edge to symbolize the Holy Trinity's connection to the Hunter

A Hunter with the Gift of Judgment is able to exorcize entities without the aid of a specific ritual, enchantment or blessing. They can simply do so by touching the desired target to banish whatever evil that's stored in it. They MUST make a physical contact in order to use their ability

If developed enough and applied on Monsters, a Judge is able to kill evil creatures with just one touch

Judges are the only Hunters who are mostly immune to possessions of any kind. It is still possible, but the entity would have quite a hard time trying to take over their soul

The Gift of Pyrokinesis:

Hunters with this Gift are addressed as Pyromancers

The sigil has a sun with rays spreading out of it, with one of them connected directly to the fish, representing the "light" that this Hunter can bring to the world

A Pyromancer has the ability to control fire, summoning it to their will. But also, they are able to cause a burning sensation within their targets, being either comforting or extremely unnerving depending on the Hunters' wishes

This Gift can be performed through direct eye contact

Naturally, Pyromancers can also control their own body heat, being able to take freezing temperatures to an extent but not last on it forever

The Gift of Samson's Will:

Hunters with this ability are called Enforcers

The sigil has the fish turned upwards to show its connection to the divine. The line in the middle is based on how alchemy represents the element of salt (a circle with a line across it), which tends to symbolize one's spiritual strength, and to Enforcers, this strength is everything their Gift is about

Enforcers have an immense physical strength, being able to lift the heaviest objects on their own and resist the absurdest blows without a scratch (at least not major ones-)

Hunters with this Gift tend to be very sure of what they believe in, which makes them also a struggle to possess to certain entities

The Gift of Glossolalia:

Hunters with this ability are called Pacifiers or Interpreters

The sigil consists of fishes going to different directions, representing the Hunter's ability of being able to "swim to any way", an analogy at how flexible they tend to be

Hunters with the Gift of Glossolalia have a beautiful, angelical voice. They are able to soothe the angriest beasts just with the sound of it

Many Pacifiers use their Gift through music, singing songs, lullabies or enchantments in order to apply their vocal abilities

If developed enough, they are also able to communicate with foreigners without being necessarily fluent in their language. Like a knowledge they always seemed to have, Interpreters will be able to speak any dialogue independent of where their target is from (this includes sign language and braille), hence why they're also known as Interpreters

The Gift of Wisdom:

Hunters with this Gift are known as Sages or Prophets

The Sages' symbol shows a fish pointing downwards, representing the Hunter's mortal nature, but the triangle around it shows that they still hold a divine knowledge and connection

Sages are Hunters who will randomly receive "flashes" of future events that did not happen yet, as well as prophetic dreams that are later interpreted by them to figure out its meanings

Sometimes, a vision a Sage has may be very hard for them to describe in words, so they prefer to express it through an artistic activity. Many Hunters with this ability tend to be artists

Usually, Hunters with the Gift of Wisdom are very modest and seemingly knowledgeable about life in general, giving out unique perceptions of the world around them while following the concept of "creation" to do so

The Gift of Cure:

Hunters with this Gift are addressed as Curators

The heart in the middle of the fish represents this Hunters' potential in distributing healing and love to those who are in need of it, which is basically what their Gift is about

Curators have the ability to heal superficial and deep wounds, as well as physical disabilities and mental stress

This is one of the most draining abilities, since it makes the Hunter physically and mentally exhausted depending on how much they've used their Gift. The average amount a Curator is able to heal is 3-5 people

These Hunters are usually very kind-hearted and empathetic with those around them, regardless of what they've done or who they are

And thats practically it! Theres still more info about the abilities, but Ill show in future posts for the sake of not clogging this one up too much xD
