hi there!!

i'm laura and i've admired the studyblr community from afar for the longest time, but i finally decided to create a blog of my own while i wait for the next semester of classes to start :)

about me

i'm eighteen

she/her

♉ sun, ♓ moon, ♐ rising

i'm from recife, brazil

i'm in my first year of uni

languages i speak:

- brazilian portuguese (native)

- english (c1)

interests

art (oil painting, watercolor, collage..)

sleep ( that's a big deal. uni got me sleep deprived af)

why a studyblr?

i've been procrastinating too much ( i repeat, too much!) during the first semester of classes. my grades are pretty good but i'm tired of the whole "let's pull all-nighters and neglect my health so i can get that a+" ordeal. i figured having a blog would help me keep organized and sane™️. and also cause tumblr it's a great place to learn languages, and i just started to study japanese by myself!!

what to expect:

japanese language/culture notes and stuff (this blog will be mainly a langblr)

posts about my actual classes

random stuff about the uni student life

maybe i'll share some of my art :)

I have had this blog for about a year now, and I’ve come to realise the unattainable perfection of studyblrs. I created this account to motivate and educate myself and I feel as though these ‘perfect study notes’ hold unrealistic expectations. This is why I have decided to post things that are more realistic, educational and have a positive impact on the community. Please reblog this to spread the message: You do not need perfect notes, every stationary item, a macbook, top grades or an aesthetic study space to be a studyblr. All you need to do is do the best you can.
