A/n: if you don’t know what a tamagotchi is, congrats! You’re still young 🥹 look it up before reading.

☀️Shoyo Hinata🍊:

Freaking loves it! In fact, he loves everything you give him,

You got him an orange one, decorated with lemons and orange slices.

He’d frequently take care of it (whenever he’s got some minutes to spare).

Even if he stops playing with it at some point, he’ll still take it wherever he goes, in his pockets or his bag. After all, it’s a gift from you and it needs to be treated like gold.

Unlike the others, he’s not embarrassed to use it in public. If his teammates tease him, he’ll about how grateful he is to have a partner who thinks of him and shares their interests with him.

🫐Tobio Kageyama🥛:

You couldn’t find him anything with a cow or blueberry design, so you ended up getting him a blue one with an ocean design. (It had bubbles on it 🥺).

He’s confused but he’s willing to make an effort and play with it to make you happy.

“Hey, what is it doing now?”

“Honey… I think it’s dead.”

“WhAt?! They can die?! I thought you said kids played with those!”

“We’ll, when did you last feed it ?”

“I don’t know… six days ago?”

“See, this is why we can’t have a pet. I mean, how can we, when you can’t keep the toy alive ?”

If you want him to use it, might as well make it challenge.

🌙Kei Tsukishima🦖

You looked all over the store to find one he’d like. You ended up finding a dinosaur themed tamagotchi shaped like a cracked egg.

The day you give it to him, he tells you it’s childish and ridiculous, even when you tell him that you and your friends play with yours.

“Fine. Then, I’ll return it.”

“You wish! It’s mine now.”

Even if he barely use it, he’ll hang it to his keys and never take it off.

Okay! Maybe he does use it…

He saw you one day, playing with yours. He doesn’t really get it, though he does think it’s cute.

So you went your way and got him a green one decorated with leaves.

He loves it when you both sit down and play together. Each holding yours and sometimes exchanging them.

Although he loves you dearly, he’s pretty embarrassed to use it in front of Tsuki. Therefore, whenever the blondie’s around, he’ll hide it and pretend it doesn’t exist.

👊Yuji Itadori:

Man is the best caretaker. He’ll always keep it in his pocket. He will probably name it after an iconic pet from the movies he watched. He’s the kind of guy who’d fake having to go to the bathroom just so he could feed it. Ain’t no way he’s embarrassed to show it to his friends. On the contrary, he would probably wave it around as some trophy you gave him. If Nanami confiscates it, he’s surely going to sneak into his office to take it back. Sometimes, when you are busy or on mission he will gladly take care of yours too.

🐺Megumi Fushiguro:

First, he kindly tells you to stop wasting your money... especially for him. He wants to add that you’re childish, but holds himself after you told him you spent time looking for the best design for him (You picked him one decorated with puppies). Dude acts like he doesn’t give a damn but secretly keeps it on his nightstand. He would only play with it on mornings after waking up and at night right before going to bed. He won’t let the others find out, due to their exaggerated excess of teasing. You find out eventually, but he trusts you with all his heart so, that’s fine.

🌹Nobara Kugisaki:

She tends to be really picky with gifts. Thus, you need to tell her in advance what you’re going to give her. At first, she’s not really into it, but quickly gets jealous when she sees you having fun with yours. She tells you she changed her mind and wants one too. You ask her what kind of design would she prefer considering there are... a lot. “I’ll go with you! No offense, but I can’t trust anyone with this decision. Where’s the store?”. Needless to say, you probably spend at least two hours in the shop with her hesitating over three different designs. In the end she picks one decorated with roses. She’ll be sooo happy to play with you. Although, she’ll probably let it die accidentally.

🌑Satoru Gojo:

He cherishes everything you give him, and this, is no exception. In fact, this dude will tie it to his jeans pocket and let it hang for everyone to see. Utahime will mock him, but he bites back “You’re just jealous cuz you don’t have a partner who showers you with cute stuff.” He probably (surely) made a bet with Yuji and Nobara on who can keep their pet alive the longest.

👓Kento Nanami:

You gave it to him back when he was working at that terrible office job. Similarly to Megumi, he’ll tell you to save your money instead of spending it on gadgets. He still thanks you for thinking about him and accepts it anyways. He’ll play with it during lunch breaks as he gets easily tired of both his phone and his irritating coworkers. If he doesn’t understand the instructions he will text you to ask you how it works.

Post high school: Hinata, Kageyama, Miya.A, Ushijima, Bokuto.

So I’m not really sure if volleyball champions usually get chased by paparazzi but let’s say you are surrounded by lots of ‘em.

Shoyo Hinata:

Checks if you’re okay first. Then, turns back to the person with his arms extended protectively in front of you.

“Hey! Please don’t do that!” He’d smile even though his tone stays firm.

Tobio Kageyama:

“Oi!”

He’d grab the culprit’s camera, with his large calloused hand and pull it down to better look at them dead in the eyes.

“Watch it!”

Atsumu Miya:

Does his best to stay calm. After taking a deep breath, he’ll turn back to the person and will force a smile.

“Hey… y’a better apologise now.”

Wakatoshi Ushijima:

Says nothing.

Gives culprit death stare while gently pulling you to him and leads you to the exit.

Kotaro Bokuto:

New hobbies

(Tobio Kageyama x fem reader)

Genre : Fluff

It wasn’t new to find team members waiting by the gym. That’s what Kageyama thought when he saw you, his fellow classmate, leaning on the door of the gym, your eyes fixated on the book you were reading, which after closer inspection turned out to be a manga. It was once he reached the gym’s door that you took notice of his presence.

“Hey Kageyama-kun!”

“H-hi. What are you doing here ?” He didn’t really mean to sound so blunt. But can you really blame him? The poor boy never really had a proper conversation with someone who wasn’t his family or his teammate. Especially if it wasn’t about volleyball.

« I’m just waiting for someone. » You shrugged.

At that, the raven haired tensed. Someone? A guy ? A girl? Was one of his teammates your boyfriend? And why was he so curious? You were just a girl who happened to be in his class… who also happened to be here, now, in front of his beloved gym.

« He borrowed two of my volumes and he finished reading them. Oh! There he is! »

Both turning to the sound of incoming running steps, Tobio scrunched his eyebrows at the sight of orange locks.

« Hey (L/n)! Kageyama, you’re here too? I thought practice starts in thirty minutes.» Hinata huffed, trying to catch his breath.

« Of course I’m here, idiot! Unlike some people I also take warm up time seriously. »

Deciding to ignore his teammate’s attitude, the ginger turns back to you, with his bright smile on his face.

He bowed as he handed you back the volumes you lent him.

« Thank you so much (L/n)-san! I really enjoyed this series! »

« You’re always welcome. Did you really like it ? »

“ I did! You were right! I need to buy it myself!”

As the two of you rambled on about the next chapter, The dark haired setter tried to follow, clearly confused by the topic the two of you were on. He kind of guessed Hinata was a bit of a nerd... but you? That’s surprising. He couldn’t help but feel a little jealous of the little carrot top. How could someone like him feel so comfortable talking to someone like you? Let alone any girl ?

Their conversation was soon cut short as Hinata excused himself:

« I’m going to the bathroom. Be right back! »

The ginger hurried away leaving an awkward silence between you and the setter. But soon enough, Kageyama decided that, now that all of his embarrassing teammates were out of sight, this was a good time to practice his people skills.

« So… what’s it about ? » He shyly asked

« Scuse me? »

« The- the story… what’s it about ? “

“Oh it’s about this kid who wants to-Oh! Hinata gave me back the first volume. Why don’t you have a look? I’m kinda bad a explaining.”

Tobio wanted to refuse. He wanted to open his mouth and politely tell you that he wasn’t interested. But seeing your tender smile as you kindly handed the book, made him instantly reach out and gently take it from your hand. He took a minute to check the cool cover, admiring the main character on the front. He then, flipped it to read the summary on the back. The few minutes left before practice were spent with the both of you reading. Kageyama kept asking questions about the plot and characters, so much you had to give him the “read to find out!” speech to calm him down.

The next day, you expected lots of thing. You did expect the math test to be hard. You did expect the weather to suck. What you sure didn’t expect, was a certain tall volleyball addict to come by your desk by the end of lunch break. He was holding the manga in one hand and rubbed the back of his neck with the other.

“What’s up?” you asked. He didn’t answer at first but simply placed the first volume on your textbook. He avoided your gaze, clearly attempting to hide his flushed face from you.

“I-I like it.”

“Really? You do?” He nodded, still not looking at you. You asked if he’d like you to lend him the second volume so he could read it at home, but you were interrupted by his mumbling.

“Say what?”

“I-I want to read them together...like yesterday... it’s more fun.” It was now your face that was heating up. For a socially awkward guy, he was pretty straightforward. You smiled as you lowered your gaze to the manga in front of you.

“You got some time tomorrow?”

One year later...

“I’m telling you! I’ll be there in 5!”

“You just showered Tobio! You can’t just run in the cold with your hair all wet!”

“I can make it!”

“I’ll just record it and we can watch it later.”

“No! It’s not the same!”

“But Tobi, you already read it! It’s the first episode, it’s about the first chapter! Why do you care so much?”

“Cuz! I wanna see it animated! Also... it’s the only time we get to hang out outside of school.” You giggled at his little grumpy tone. A few seconds later, the doorbell rang and you opened the door to a half-dried Tobio.

“told ya.” He pecked your cheek as you both sat on the couch.

“Yeah, yeah, if you get sick I’ll kick your ass!”

“Alright, boys! That’s enough for today! Make sure to rest up!”

The Karasuno team bid goodnight to coach Ukai as they started cleaning up the gym. You stood up from the bleachers from where you’ve been watching practice and made your way down to the court to help out.

Once everything was locked up, Kageyama slipped his jacket on turned back to you.

“Ready to go?”

“um-hum!” You nodded with a smile. He gently grabbed your hand and you instantly intertwined your fingers. You took notice of his tired state. His hair was all over his face and there where bags under his eyes. As you both exit the gym along with the others, your ears couldn’t help but catch the snickers of Tanaka and Nishinoya upon seeing you two.

“So what’s up with the lovely couple? Any plans for tonight?” Tanaka asked with a huge teasing smirk plastered on is face. It wasn’t new that his teammates would joke around. In fact it became a habit now. When you started dating, Tobio kindly asked you to keep it a secret as all this was new to him and he was really embarrassed. You accepted for his sake, but that didn’t last long since Hinata noticed you two hugging and eating together. He eventually told the others and no one could actually believe that Kags of all people was the first member of the team to officially be in a relationship. That is... until they’ve seen it themselves and Kageyama hesitantly admitted it.

You laughed at the spiker’s amused tone whereas, Kageyama’s face turned red.

“No not really, he’s just walking me home.”

“Just that huh? Well make sure you kids don’t do anything nas-” The baldy was instantly interrupted with a slap on the back of the head given to him by Daichi “Dude! Leave them alone. You know they’re not like that.”

“You don’t know that!”

“I don’t think it’s gonna last long anyway” A tall blond figure snorted. Kageyama sighed as Tsukishima and Yamaguchi walked alongside the group a few feet away from you. Everyone knew how much the blocker just loved to mock Kageyama, so he wasn’t going to hold himself. Especially not with his partner next to him.

See, the thing with you is that most people know you as a friendly and cheerful person. You don’t mind jokes and innocent teasing...

“ I mean, I don’t understand what you see in this guy. If it’s not the brains, then it can’t be his looks. You’re basically dating an angry looking demon.” He laughed.

However, sometimes...

“A demon ?”

People have got to be careful of what they say to you.

“Angry looking ? Does he mean ugly? But...who’s he talking about?”

“Tobio?”

“My Tobio? My beautiful, beautiful awkward boyfriend?”

“Excuse me. You need new glasses or something?”

“h-Huh? No, wh-” Before he could say anything else, Tsukki felt the collar of his jacket being grabbed.

“Then you gotta be OUTTA YOUR MIND!! Who the hell would look at Tobio and think he’s ugly ?!” You screamed as you attempted to shake the life out of him, (poorly succeeding). You let go of Tsukishima and made your way back in front of a dumbfounded Kags.

“Look at him!” Suddenly cupping his face, squishing his cheeks in the process. He grunted in pain and focused on you. your face meant dead serious yet your pupils were star-shaped.

“He could be a model if he wanted to!” The intense look of love and adoration you were giving him made his poor heart want to burst out of his chest.

“I don’t mind you guys mocking each other but if you ever say something like that again, I will beat your ass!” You pointed your finger back at Tsukishima.

Later on, after you calmed down you continued walking home while holding hands again. Ever since the “discussion” with his teammates, the two of you haven’t talked. Tobio wanted to ask you about it, then again he wanted to avoid making you angry. But the way you were smiling as they walked, confused him even more, it was as if nothing happened.

You finally reached the front door of your home. Kageyama tugged on your sleeve to get your full attention. “Hey...Did you mean...what you said earlier?”

“That I’d beat his ass? Well yeah I-”

“No, not that. the other thing.

“Of course I meant it. I got mad because I don’t like it when people say stuff like that. Especially when it’s not true.” Upon hearing your answer, he hummed in approval. But his eyes looked down as if he didn’t really believe in what you were saying.

“You’re really handsome. Plus you’re tall and athletic. Surely you’d make an amazing model. But, I guess there’s only place for Volleyball in that skull of yours.” You reached out and gently knocked on the side of his head. Seeing that he was still staring at the ground, your fingers moved to his forehead and delicately brushed the bangs covering his eyes. “And don’t think I’m only dating you because of that. There are tons of things I love about you. It took me some time to get used to your attitude tho.”

“H-hey!”

You laughed at his red pouty face. “I’m just surprised you don’t see that in yourself.”

“That’s because nobody says stuff like that to me. The only compliment I ever got is that I’m a good setter.”

“Well, you do have some secret fangirls at school. I’m just really glad you don’t have Oikawa’s ego.”

You then wrapped your arms around him. He was surprised at first but quickly relaxed in your embrace and hugged you back. You stayed like that for a few minutes. You didn’t want to let go of him. You heard him mumbling something, when you asked him what, he tried again:

“Y-you’re pr-pret...Beautiful.” He managed to let out. “You’re beautiful. Both Inside out and I don’t care about other girls... I want to see you everyday.” You could feel your face heat up at his statement. You squeezed him one last time before giving him a tender peck on the lips.

“Well, it’s a good thing we’re in the same class then.”

Back with the third years:

“Is (Y/n) like a yandere or something ?” asked Asahi still a bit shocked by your sudden outburst. Suga on the other hand:

“Nah...Just wanted to defend Kageyama. It was pretty cute if you ask me.”

“Kinda reminds of me what happened with Oikawa.”

“Wait, what happened with Oikawa?”

Hair advice (Tobio kageyama x reader)

Tobio Kageyama x GN reader

Genre: Fluff

Bus rides home after tournaments were always the most relaxing few hours for the team. With nothing but the sound of the engine and the faint light of the sunset, half of the boys were fast asleep. You were lucky to be seated beside your boyfriend for the ride back home. It was unusual for the team to bring along a student who was neither a member of the team or a manager, but after all those hours of tutoring the idiots duo... and also Kageyama’s constant begging, Coach Ukai and Takeda eventually had to accept.

You woke up from your little nap with the feeling of tiny hair strands tickling your face. You figured your head was on Tobio’s shoulder. He was awake, so you took the liberty to bury your face into the crook of his neck and breathe in the scent of his dark locks, earning a shiver from him. It felt nice even it was still a little wet from the shower he took before leaving.

You sighed :

« I’m so jealous. »

With a small «uh? »The setter blinked and tilted his head towards you.

« Of who? »

« Of you. You and your hair. » You pouted as you gently ran your fingers in his scalp. And as much as Tobio enjoyed the feeling, he couldn’t help but come back to your little confession.

“W-what’s there to be jealous of ? It’s just hair.”

“It’s always so soft, and shiny, and it smells really nice. How do you keep it that way?”

Heat rose up to his cheeks at the compliments, making him quickly turn his head back towards the window to hide his pink face. He said nothing at first, he wasn’t sure about telling you. He didn’t want to be teased to death. But maybe telling you of all people wouldn’t be a big deal. So he blurted out:

“…my sister…”

“pardon?”

“My sister, Miwa. You know, I told you about her and her job.”

“Oh right! So, she’s the one giving you advice.”

He rolled his eyes and continued :

“She won’t shut up about it. The few days when she’s home, She’d keep staring at my head and just comments. Verifies if it’s not too dry, not too oily. She buys me those shampoos and gels she wants me to try out. Lately, she’s been teasing me about acne she said I should get skin care treatment creams» He looked down at his lap and started fidgeting with the zipper of his jacket.

« When we were kids, she freaked out whenever she’d catch me scratching my head. So she forced me to sit down to check for lice. She said she didn’t want me to infect the house.”

“Were there any ?” you asked with a smirk on your face, earning a glare from him.

“No! ... but...there was a lot of dandruff” As he stared and the landscape outside, The memories of his childhood kept repeating in his head. Most of them were good, others... meh and the rest was blurry. His relationship with his sister was pretty normal. Sure they used to argue about stupid subjects like every siblings eventually do. But overall he did enjoy spending time with Miwa. Things did change between them when she decided to give up on volleyball. Up until high school, she was the closest thing to a friend… the only friend he had. After grandpa Kazuyo’s death, then only had each other, but then she moved to college, he got lonelier and grumpier. He didn’t really blame her for leaving. He wanted to support her, just like she did for him more than their parents ever did.

His memory screening was soon interrupted by the sound of a loud “Awwww” next to him. He turned back only to be facing your lips forming a huge grin and sparkles in your eyes. Obviously, he was freaked out.

“w-What ?!”

“you miss her!”

“Huh?! N-no I don’t!”

“Yes you do! You miss your sister! That’s so cute!” you squealed like a little girl.

“Sh-Shut up! stop it!”

“You’ve been rambling on and on about her and how she takes care of you!”

“Fine, fine! Quit it! So what if I do?!” He crossed his arms are pouted. You smiled and patted the top of his head.

“Nothing. It’s just unusual for you to say this about... anyone.”

A comfortable silence set between you as you both leaned on each other to watch the fields passing by. Although Kageyama didn’t really understand your excitement on the subject, you felt overjoyed to know more about his family. Happy that he opened up a lot. You’ve been dating for over a month, and you wanted to know more than just volleyball. You were aware of the patience you had to have with him. Much like he knew how to make efforts for you.

“Hey...Tobio?”

“yeah?”

“Miwa. She sounds really cool.”

“Ha... I guess she kinda is.”

“I want to meet her. You think she’ll like me ?” Tobio unconsciously slid his hand to grab yours and intertwined your fingers.

“Yeah. She better love ya.”

You hummed softly and leaned your head back on his shoulder, before jolting back up.

“Okay now. Show me what you use for that pretty hair.”

Tobio groaned loudly as he ran a hand on his face. With an annoyed and flustered face he grabbed his bag that sat between his legs and unzipped it.

“Fine. But, one word of this to the others and you’re dead.” He pulls out the shampoo bottle and hands it to you. You gently take it from him but upon seeing it clearly, your smiling face shifts into a puzzled expression.

“What ?” He asked.

“Oh. Nothing. It’s just... I think my mom uses this stuff.”

“Wait, what ?!”
