Ah, my artstyle is a little too cutesy to properly execute this concept, I think, but I'm glad I tried!

I was suddenly inspired by the idea of a character who was, perhaps, once 'pure of heart' but was only 'chosen' after she'd grown up and lost her 'innocence.' Maybe after she did something to survive that marked her as 'guilty' or something was done to her. All of which leaves her to question, why now? Why after she had become ruined and rotten? Why not then, when she was young and new...

So yeah, corrupted unicorn symbolism.

I feel like she would fit best in a kind of non-standard revenge narrative. She gets back at whoever 'ruined' her, but is left with the hollowness that she'll never get who she used to be, but then maybe she can still reclaim some form of 'innocence' even if it's not what she expected. Who knows, honestly.

I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

Maenad gets a glow-up, a new tragic backstory, and some cool knives!

Now instead of "local chaotic evil dhampir tries really, really hard to be good so his friends don't get sad about it" it's more like "Chaotic evil BBEG completes plot in reverse order and accidently defeats himself on the first day by falling head-over-heels for the hero."

On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will travel through Mexico, cross the United States from Texas to Maine, and exit North America along Canada’s Atlantic coast. Read far too much infodumping about Aldiirn? well HERE YOU GO I finally put it all together in one place so I don't need to worry about any one social media platform exploding and taking them all down.

The artwork on Aldiirn's page is still WIP but I wanted it to match bg3.wiki. His companion quest so far covers Act 1 and there's an article for his merchant clan too. Planned updates are to add a page for banter, get reference artwork done, and possibly get keyboard navigation working on the comic archive. The coding isn't perfect and there may be weirdness on mobile but it should be functional

BG3 Narrative Changes Post-Full Release

An update on the project I have been working on over the past weeks, to compile a record of all the narrative changes Larian has made to Baldur's Gate 3 post-Full Release — particularly those changes that have affected characterization. There are many of these changes that are not common knowledge, even among dedicated fans, simply due to the size of the game and the varied narrative pathways one can take.

As stated in my original post, this is a neutral project not meant to be either inherently supportive or critical of said changes, but merely to act as a record and reference for those who would like to be aware of them. Particularly with new fans always entering the fandom, I want them to be able to understand aspects of the story that are no longer present in the game, but might still be referenced and impactful to fandom discussions.

I will continue to update the log as I receive new submissions via the report form, and have the opportunity to verify to the best of my ability that the material in question was truly changed, as opposed to potentially bugged in some playthroughs, etc. If you are aware of any changes that you do not see on the spreadsheet, please submit a report form, as I am only one person, and cannot happen across all of the potential changes – especially with so many unannounced – on my own.
