Unfinished projects go to Heaven (everyone knows that) and get to rest in peace.

The projects are all from between 2016-2022 and if you've followed me during that time, you may see some familiar faces. Almost all the assets in Heaven are copied straight from old projects, so keep in mind a lot of them were made a long time ago ^^'

Please treat Heaven as a virtual gallery rather than a game. It's just a showcase of various things I've made over the years that never made it to released games. Please enjoy exploring and wondering what these games could've been </3

I know you've played a lot of pretty obscure games, you've mentionned a bunch before, are there any that you would recommend? I'm want to try and support more indie games, or just creators that make games for fun, but they can be hard to find

i rarely update it nowadays, cause i just dont have much time to play games, but there are some games recs there!

On this specific post you can get basically 2 pretty big archives of indie games.

I always check this page for weird games, that are usually pretty obscure!

And for a tip on finding indie obscure games, always check Game Jams! The games are often short and free, but very full of personality

just wanted to tell you: The engine that 4-Lung Boy was made in seems to be "Adventure Game Studio"! It's an engine for making old-school point & click adventure games, and the tells are the mug icon and the "AGS" abbreviation you can see on the executable, iirc. Found this out when I was rereading your post, thought "what's the Unknow engine?", found out that wasn't a thing and you'd probably meant "Unknown", and double-checked the files of my own copy of 4-Lung Boy.

Two Days

Stumbled over an old freeware curation website from 2012 completely accidentally, It's called FreeIndieGames.es!

It's full of games made around 2012-1014, curated with the intent of showcasing games that seemed to be overlooked. From one of the editors of the site, Terry Cavanagh:

"When I started this site after GDC in 2012, it was out of frustration – I believed that the culture and discussion around indie games was changing, and that the awesome, personal, and usually free work that had influenced me was being left out and forgotten. I wanted to change that, and I think, thanks to the help of my wonderful co-curators, we did that, for a while."

The website had it's last post in April 2014, due to the editors moving to new things and having their own personal lives, however the website and it's archives of games are still up!

And it seems like the care for more independent free indie games is still up too, as Terry still doing showcases of freeware, just in a different website now: Terry's Free Game of the Week!

Definitely a great recommendation for people who are looking for freeware and more personal indie games! (And if that's not enough, in the about page there's even more links to indie games sites and curation threads!)
