the fact that adam is the one who tells us "[Ronan's] code of honor left no room for infidelity, for casual relationships. it wasn't that he didn't condone them; he couldn't understand them." will forever get me like adam is always reiterating ronan's capacity for love and intense devotion without even knowing that he PRAYED FOR HIM ON FIRST SIGHT.... & then he takes the time to completely process that before allowing himself to be with ronan (this didn't feel like a game and ASKING GANSEY ABT LOVE AFTER THEIR FIRST KISS) knowing how badly he wanted to accept it but wanting to be sure that he could return it. he approaches it differently but every bit as seriously as ronan does. bc it means so much to both of them, it isn't a game, they both know what this will be if they let it. who has he ever had to love him ever adam parrish is loved by someone that he himself has described multiple times as being intensely and singularly dedicated to what he loves, and expressing that love without restraint on a level adam marvels at. it is literally like nothing adam has ever known and every ounce of it is directed right at him.

i need these for my mental stability

Alright! So I finished hand binding Crimson Rivers by @mayzarbewithyou :) this was my first time bookbinding so excuse the mistakes I am far from great, but all in good time! This fic basically changed the trajectory of my life so I thought I’d give it the love it deserves! the spine is regulus standing looking up at the tree and he is purposely put on the last book because he finally learned how to climb and grow. I’m so emotional over the end of the fic so this is very emotional to me. I did the typeset myself and there are some cool details I’ll try to put in another post, but basically I added all of Zar’s end notes as footnotes to the specific scenes he talks about! All very fun and the dingbats match the theme for the books and the backs each have quotes the correspond. I split it into 5 just because it didn’t feel right to have the epilogues in the same book as the war. They were two completely different parts of the story so I separated them. Anyways I’ll make another post. This was a labor of love and I hope I did it Justice :)

this is my ultimate post on why remus lupin is “cardigan” and regulus black is “august” by taylor swift.

the scenarios are remus finding out sirius is in a relationship with somebody (marlene?) at school and regulus finding out james got with lily after they spent the summer together.

regulus loved james with a burning passion,it was like james was fire itself and regulus gladly melt into his warmth ,he finally felt loved and never needed anything more

i feel like regulus would constantly ask james if he was sure of their relationship,cause of his trust issues and traumas and james would make sure regulus knew how much he liked him

[ But I can see us lost in the memory ]

but september came and it was like nothing ever happened cause lily evans changed her mind and she was what james had always dreamt about

and the realisation hit him. james was never his. for james it was a summer love, for regulus it was everything.

he’s always been second to everybody else and this was no exception

before that summer,regulus already liked james but he was okay with the fact that he could never dream to be with james potter. except he did. and now the thought was drowning him, the memories of them twisted in bedsheets, james’ back beneath the sun.

okay so my fav headcanon is remus realising he likes sirius during the first day of the third year

cause in the movies the third one is where everyone get hot so i’m assuming it happened with the marauders too

so on the first of september remus was the first to get on the train and when he saw sirius he just got paralysed cause how can someone get SO pretty???

obviously he didn’t say anything about it but but peter and james noticed the way remus couldn’t shift his gaze away from sirius . still they decided to not rush things

so that night remus stayed up all night thinking about sirius: about his hair which got longer,his outstanding grin and god his laugh, the way he got a bit taller ,his eyes that always looked at him in a way that make remus felt safe.

until he fell asleep with just one thought on his mind: he really liked sirius black

evan and barty were the firsts in the slytherin group to get together and they were just so??? aesthetic??? exactly how you would picture a perfect slytherin couple

they were flirty,constantly teasing each other ,dressed very slutty and cool,smoked together and overall very hot, they were THAT couple yk

so everyone kinda of expected regulus to have a relationship similar to theirs because they had similar personalities and he always hung up with them until one day evan and barty came back to their dorm after a walk just to find regulus asleep in his bed AND in JAMES POTTER’S ARMS who was looking at him with absolute heart eyes while cuddling him
