Sebastian Sallow Headcanons 🐍
WARNING: Spoilers for Hogwarts Legacy (this is not a maybe, this is a definite)
Since Sebastian is my personal favorite (alongside Ominis) and also most everyone else's, I figured I would do some headcanons for him~
• His reflection in the mirror of Erised would be his twin sister, Anne, healthy and happy again
• When it's not a school day, he's usually wearing grey or black sweaters
• He has a pretty straightforward relationship with MC; he's protective of them, just as much as they help him out with his sister's cure
• I mean, he definitely has romantic feelings for MC...
• Have you SEEN the way he looks at us in the cutscenes? *faints*
• If You're Slytherin, he definitely will hang out in the common room in the middle of the night with you, especially if you're unable to sleep or having a bad day
• "Besides, I like having friends in my debt" Slytherin KING 🐍
• If anyone is Slytherin, it's Sallow. He's determined, ambitious, cunning (apparently so 🫥).. Slytherin... 🤌🏻
• He's the type to put his arm around his SO if he feels jealous, or protective, or comfortable... or any time, really.
• He never returned that book to Salazar Slytherin's secret study.
• If MC went down the path of selling him out to the headmaster, he probably still would be trying to cure Anne.
• He's the most stubborn dude you'll ever know
• Well, at least he is right after Ominis and anything to do with the dark arts
• His favorite Unforgivable Curse is definitely crucio
• Sebastian's overall aesthetic is dark academia and edginess and bruises and battle scars
• But as your lover, it's fluffy hair, stars, warm sweaters, sneaking out at night...
• His relationship with Ominis is unrivaled (I think that's just canon, though-)
• I AIN'T EVER SEEN TWO PRETTY BEST FRIENDS-
• He'll probably try to sound smart and attractive by saying something in Latin and then telling you what it means
• He'd follow up with "or was that something else...?" all the while scratching his head.
• He'll get defensive when you laugh at him
• He probably did try to drop that thing on Leander's head during that duel...
• Speaking of which, Sebastian also has a reputation for getting into trouble and being sent to detention, so he's likely that one goofball kid in class that's always up to something
• Him and Garreth should have a standoff
• Okay, Seb isn't THAT bad, but it's funny to think about
• Only Anne is allowed to call him Seb or Sebby, unless he really, really likes the person (rare occasion)
• You'll never know his inside jokes with Ominis. Never.
• Sometimes, you two will sneak out late, but just early enough to grab a butterbeer or two from Hogsmeade
That's all I got homies

Would you ever do a tutorial/Guide for Hogwarts Legacy for the Nintendo Switch? I know it’s really similar to the Xbox, PlayStation, PC and etc. But would you ever do one just for the Nintendo Switch?
I do not own the copy for the Nintendo switch, but I can figure out how to make a guide for you :)

Hogwarts Legacy - Tips and Tricks
WARNING: May contain spoilers for Hogwarts Legacy
Personal experience, this does not reference videos
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
• You can skip most of the dialogue if you don't want to hear it again (since you can't skip the tutorial segment of the game). You can do this with triangle (PlayStation), RMB (PC), or Y button (Xbox)
• Keep stocked up on Wiggenweld potions. These, even though they don't do a lot, will help you immensely.
• Thunderbrew is useful against the Graphorn. It makes storm clouds float above the player and damages nearby enemies.
• Don't worry; Sebastian, Natty and Poppy can take care of themselves and they don't have health bars. You don't have to worry about them.
• The RoR is SO useful, it's not even funny. After a quest with Deek, you'll have vivariums to maintain beasts, and you can get materials from them. This place also allows you to identify unidentified gear, upgrade gear, brew potions, grow magical plants, and you can customize it. Love this place.
• It's impossible to stop Sebastian from doing anything; just be careful how you respond. You'll see, if you don't already know what I'm talking about.
• You cannot be "evil" in the game, canonically. You can just be an absolute sleazeball, though. Don't worry, you'll keep your friends (somehow).
• Speaking of dialogue, your actions really don't have much impact on anything. Of course, it will influence how characters react to you, but there's really no consequences for your responses.
• Speaking of consequences, there's none of you use an unforgivable curse. If you're on PC, there's an Azkaban mod that allows you to be caught with dark magic and sent to Azkaban, just in case you want more realism.
• As for realism, you don't actually have a curfew. You can walk around all willy-nilly in the middle of the night with no repercussions. The person who made the Azkaban mod has a curfew mod that allows you to get caught at night, if you want the extra challenge.
• No, I'm not sponsored.
• Solomon Sallow will hate you regardless of your actions. You're friends with Sebastian, that's why. Don't take it personally.
• Brooms fly faster than hippogriffs, but hippogriffs ascend and descend faster than brooms.
• Rare events occur, such as the train at King's Cross Station arriving and leaving, the kraken saying hello in the lake (scripted event during the flying class), a suit of armor getting annoyed with another and turns the aggressive nudge into full-blown murder, amongst other things.
• Unsure what it is, but sometimes you'll find a ridiculous amount of dark witches and wizards in and around the Forbidden Forest... They won't hurt you, and you can't hurt them, but they're there.
• Speaking of the Forbidden Forest, there are a LOT of spiders. If you don't like them, are scared of them, have arachnophobia, etc., there's an "arachnophobia mode" in the settings, so they're less scary. Alternatively, there's a PC mod that turns them into burgers. This is good if you don't even want a slight resemblance of a spider in the arachnophobia mode.
• No, I'm not sponsored
• Sometimes, NPCs will describe you based on your hogwarts house (this can be seen in the "Minding Your Own Business" DLC quest in Hogsmeade)
• All four houses have their own quests (though they tie in to the same character and quest at the end).
• There are plenty of Easter eggs referencing the movies (one being the Shrieking Shack on the map in Hogsmeade where the Old Fool house is, just on the outskirts of Hogsmeade).
• Don't worry, Ravenclaw, you don't have to answer riddles every time you want to enter your common room.
That's all I got, homies
(P.S. Slytherin is the best house -from a very unbiased Slytherin)
I want to see Leon have a full breakdown.
Ugly crying, shouting, losing his shit, I don't care. I love things like the emotions they add to scenes like Krauser's death, them giving Leon a movie (and novel—the novel is much better, imo), which pretty much directly expresses his issues with alcoholism and depression, and Matthew Mercer confirming that Leon was much more severely depressed before Death Island! However, I want more. I will be the greedy little parasite that latches onto Capcom's arm like a leech and sucks all the life out of them until they give me a scene where Leon just completely loses it.
Not in the way that I want Leon to face mental challenges. He already does anyway; I don't need to wish for that. I just wish there was space for him to actually express it in a way where he's not holding back with professionalism and the bad habits he's learned over his time working for the government of sucking it all up and holding it in. It could be a nice healing moment for him.
Whether it's breaking down in front of one of his friends (Cough, Chris) looking for support or getting triggered by someone and just exploding on them, I want it. I don't care what form it comes in either! Stick it in a CGI movie, show, game, novel, comic, manga... again, I don't care! Just please give me what I need.
I am aware that a big factor in this is me seeking more relatability out of one of my comfort characters, but I am telling you that I need to see this man break down and build back up.
Here is a visualisation of me absolutely demolishing Capcom.
RE4 Leon Kennedy - Random Headcanons
(This is for the 4th game, not the 2nd)
TW: Mentions of alcoholism
• Leon, despite being of Italian descent, does not do the hand gesture we all joke about with Italians
• He also is a mediocre cook. Actually, he probably doesn't cook at all, just lives off of sandwiches
• He has nightmares, and a lot of them. A PTSD thing.
• Speaking of PTSD, after what happened with Raccoon City in RE2, and then later down the line, what happened with Spain (RE4, obviously), he definitely has it.
• He also likely has some form of depression, but I can get into that in another post
• He'd be the type to show he loves someone through actions, little actions. He would be the type to quietly vacuum the living room if a loved one mentioned their lack of time and motivation to do it themselves. By quietly, I mean he wouldn't say anything about it, he'd just do it.
• He likely nicknames SO's with Spanish nicknames. Not something common, such as "mi amor," since everybody and their mother probably knows what that translates to.
• Instead, he'd call an SO things like "muñequita," "tesoro," and "querido."
• If his SO doesn't know Spanish, he'd probably get that tiny smirk on his face watching you try to figure it out.
• He has scars, and lots of them. There is no way he got through two major traumatic events and didn't get one scar from it.
• He's the type to have been told that men shouldn't cry or some bull like that. Instead, he'll get irritable and completely silent, and his face is a dead giveaway to what he's feeling (despite trying not to show it).
• In secret, away from his loved ones, he does end up breaking down, even when he tries not to. This is almost always away from the public eye, so likely at night when he's lying in bed or if he's in the shower, or just at home in general (if he lives alone).
• As for his alcohol issues, I wouldn't be shocked if that started earlier than Capcom let on
• Since he was volun-told to be an agent, this likely contributed to his alcoholism and depression
• Hero complex to the max; if he can't save one person, he can't save anyone. This ends up being detrimental to his mental health (though his desire to help others in RE2 is quite endearing)
• He probably would get flashbacks to Spain if he heard any form of dog howling, barking, or related audio triggers
• I say audio triggers because he seems like the type to focus on them.
• Due to being an agent, he has very good skill, but also some pretty bad habits that he formed during training
• He knows when someone is flirting, he just doesn't reciprocate- if he responds at all- if he doesn't have any interest in the person.
• He's not as uwu small soft boi as he was in RE2. Have you seen his roundhouses? They're higher than my grades. He will destroy you.
• Speaking of destroying people, he will also be the type to not hesitate to point a weapon at you if he hears anything related to you being or having been on the enemy's side. This is also ingrained into him from training, but he also doesn't want a repeat of what happened with Ada in RC.
• Speaking of Ada, he will show no softness for the people who try to use him to get what they want. He knows what side he's on from the get-go, and will not hesitate to leave you behind (though he may miss you a bit. He definitely will not tell anyone that, though)
• He's down-to-earth. Whether you want him to be blunt or not, he will be blunt. Sometimes, this can cause rifts in his relationships with other people, though. He's calloused compared to your everyday dude.
• He's a rough-around-the-edges type of guy. He may be a rough lover usually, but he will 100% have his soft moments
That's all I got, homies.
More tips I wish I knew for my RE4 hardcore (and professional) run
• You don't need the DLC treasures to get the rocket launchers to beat Saddler and Krauser
• It is, indeed, possible to get Ashley's armor without dying a billion times; practice makes perfect.
• You cannot leave the room to go to the merchant during the part of the Water Hall where you have to protect Ashley. She will automatically be taken away (I know this because I tried it..). Go there well prepared.
• Because a couple people mentioned this one in their reblogs, here it is: When you go into the art gallery in Salazar's castle, you can skip the entire fight if you time a flash grenade right.
• Alternatively, you can use the bolt thrower and shoot the lever with an attachable mine, which should explode during the cutscenes when the Zealot goes to pull the lever.
• I promise you that the Chicago sweeper is worth it, you can get it on an A rank professional run (easier than it sounds. No, you're not limited with saves.) and it is unstoppable once you use an exclusive upgrade ticket.
• If you don't have the Chicago, get the TMP. It won't have infinite ammo when you use an exclusive upgrade ticket, but it will be the closest thing to a Chicago.
• To skip the first Plaga you see in the game (in the cabin basement), you can run up to the shelves and let it lunge once. The second time it lunges for you, you will be turning around to run around it, and you will have to run up the stairs. That is how you skip the first Plaga (learned from Neon Slice on YouTube)
• When running out of the basement, however, you can open a cabinet to get a green herb. You will be attacked by the dude that comes out of the doorway you run into. Just hold right when you grab it or you will be hit with an axe
• he just wanted to axe you a question
• Another thing from Neon Slice: on the way to the lake, the first time you enter through the area where you later fight El Gigante, throw a grenade and all the crows will die. This will result in lots of pesetas, ammo, and a scripted hand grenade drop.
That's all I got, homies. Thanks for reading, lol.
RE4 Professional S+ run, except I messed up and now am only one single spinel short of the exclusive upgrade ticket to get infinite ammo for my Chicago sweeper.
This is perfect
This is because I am sick of people spitting on Yui’s face.
Yui is the BEST MC Diabolik Lovers could have had.
"Yui is annoying and never fights back"
She is tiny, stuck in a mansion (where the hell do you want her to run to), against vampires who are faster, stronger, and can teleport. Game over for her. It’s not like she never fought back, she kicked and slapped Laito, slapped Kou and Ruki, pushed Subaru almost making him fall down, stomps on Shu, talks back to Reiji… she isn’t doing « nothing ».
She also is smart enough to realize that if she fights back constantly, they will hurt her ten times more.
Then, let’s remember that Yui grew up without a mother figure and her dad was severe and distant. She said herself that they rarely spent time together and she had to eat most meals alone. Then, she also added she never had that many friends. Hence, we can imagine it has always been very complicated for her to bond with people and understand them as a whole, and finding herself in a mansion full of people with their attention centered on her can be overwhelming. Then, her decision is to drown in her shyness and keep her thoughts and feelings to herself. Hence, fighting for herself and keeping her ground is something she never learnt.
Also, Yui is a christian. She firmly believes that violence of any kind is inherently wrong and refuses to partake in any.
Then, I understood why many people were hating on Yui. I found out that many criticized her for liking the girly, pink, cute, fairy like aesthetic, bunnies, and for not being a goth thigh high assassin. That’s extremely pick me. Like, a female character has to be strong and tomboyish and not like anything "girl related" in order to be accepted as a female character? Yui survived (if we take the good endings) because she stayed true to herself, to her convictions, her beliefs, and didn’t change her personality to appear more likable or less "girly" in front of the boys in her household.
She survived because she didn’t act like Y/N in the DL fanfictions on Wattpad because let’s be real, if Yui had acted out, fought or talked back, she wouldn’t have survived one night.
Tips I wish I knew for my first RE4R Hardcore playthrough (Original Campaign)
Notes:
-This can also be applied to lower difficulties to make it 10x easier
-This does not include tips for the Separate Ways DLC, but some of them can be applied, I suppose
-All of these are picked up from personal playthroughs as well as YouTube videos (Neon Slice influences the majority of these)
-I've also just played this game on the hardest difficulties too many times lol
1. FLASH GRENADES - They WILL be your best friend, I promise you. Why? They stun enemies for at least 5 to 10 seconds and you can melee them. Alternatively, you have a window to stab them (always a critical hit, perfect for mini bosses like the Brutes)
2. Keep at least one first aid spray on you at all times; this has saved me on several occasions, and not doing it has killed me
3. Ashley's armor is worth the hassle if you are trying to get the S+ rank on Professional (if it's your first run, professional will only be unlocked after you beat the game at least once)
4. If you are in a spot where you are overwhelmed, just RUN. Run if you can, especially if you're out of bullets and you're on your last knife. This is another situation where flash grenades are useful.
5. Speaking of flash grenades, if it is your first playthrough (or you just lack attention to detail), Plagas hate light and die when flashed by a flash grenade. If you have too many Plagas in the area, don't hesitate to throw a flash grenade. This is especially useful against the knights in Salazar's castle.
6. The only way you're gonna get infinite ammo is through an S+ rank on Professional, so don't even worry about that until later.
7. Yes, there are limits on saves and the number of hours it takes to complete the game in order to get certain ranks. If you don't know the rules to a rank, Google them. The game, if it does tell you, doesn't like to make those rules obvious.
8. Ashley is a pain in the rear end even with the armor. In areas like the Water Hall, she's immune to enemy attacks and Leon's bullets, yes, but she will still crouch down when surrounded, or get picked up (they can't carry her anywhere though since the armor makes her heavy, so she'll be in a constant cycle of screaming until you get rid of the zealots). Added this because I don't know how many people address this part of Ashley's armor.
9. On the flip side, the armor makes Ashley immune to attacks even during her segment of the game where you play as her, so you can walk through the knight room and be hit 45 times and be just fine. It makes that part of the game much easier.
10. One hit in Ashley's segment without armor, however, (yes, even just one) will result in a game over. Keep moving, know your paths before triggering things, and be quick about it.
11. Saddler is pathetic, even on hardcore mode. At the start of his battle, just shoot him with a rocket launcher and you'll be good to go, no time wasted
12. Two golden eggs thrown at Salazar (start of his battle, preferably. Much easier from there) will easily get his battle out of the way.
13. You know the room with the 4 Regeneradors in the test tube things? Yeah, those. Don't bother killing all of them, just get the wrench from the one and you'll be fine.
14. Speaking of Regeneradors, they're a pain. A big one. Keep your distance, they're slinky's. Keep your distance.
15. If the Regenerador is asleep (like the 4 test tube ones in the lab), line up two of the parasites (if you can, all three would be awesome, though) and shoot. It will make your job MUCH easier
16. Use the rocket launcher on Krauser when you're in the final battle with him. He's a tough one, and it's much easier to skip the fight. You also get his knife once he's dead, and it's better than Leon's. That's nice, I guess.
17. There's nothing you can do about Leon's slowness when approaching Luis's lab. That's meant to happen, and no, you can't skip it. On the bright side, you won't get hurt, either.
18. You may or may not have heard about the heavy grenade trick when Ashley is using the wrecking ball. Two heavy grenades will do the trick. If you don't have those, several normal grenades will suffice, but it will add a little extra time to your run.
19. Use flash grenade right as one of the two Giants (with Luis) are approaching the center of the room. It takes a second for the flash to go off, and it stops them just enough to open the trap door to incinerate one of them. Nice.
20. Take out the lamp guys ASAP. You know, the ones with the red lamps that make the zealots turn into Plagas? Those things. I hate 'em. Flash them with a flash grenade, then knife them. Best way to go, just like Brutes.
I hope this was of SOME use to you. I racked my memory for this info, it's a long game. If you want more, let me know. Should I do Separate Ways next?
