Lesser known Waifu #8 - Steena (Chrono Cross)

And here she is, Steena from Chrono Cross.

I painted her in the same pose she has as she is in battle - as she does the motion, she reaches a point where she is very close to how she looks here.

I took just some liberties with specific details, adding up something while making something else a bit different - to say, she has barely visibl pantyhoses and shorter trousers, compared to her in-game renditions.

In her left hand, she is handling "Elements", which are the magic stonses that are used in Chrono Cross to summon magic.

Steena hss two alternate versios in-game, so I mixed both the attires of hers in one.

Lesser Known Waifu #7 -Angewoman (Digimon)

My painted take on Angwoman as she appears in the Digimon series!

Maybe she is more famous than the other ones I painted as of now (who even knows Adriana from Fighter Destiny 2, to say?) but still, very underrated.

I really like her design, lot of humanoid Digimon would work wonders in the Shin Megami Tensei!

I forgot to upload this one, now I am working on Steena from Chrono Cross!

Lesser Known Waifu #6 - Reiko Nagase (Ridge Racer)

Finallllyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!

My sixth entry for my "Lesser Known Waifu" artwork series!

Reiko Nagase the racing soubrette from the Ridge Racer series, specifically, Reiko as she appears in Ridge Racer 4 Type, the most iconic game of the series - the one with the top-tier CGI Intro with the superb Intro Song "One More Win" by Kimara Lovelace!

She is sporting a lovely pose as she leans on the car slightly, showcasing it to you, the viewer, inside a garage!

I had a lot of issues trying to get Reiko's smiling correctly, It took me almost more time doing her face correctly and her smiling looking to creepy as fuck than the whole artwork LOL!

Next time, I'll make something with a simpler background, this one too took me around 35 hours of working!

Lesser Known Waifu #5 - Adriana (Fighter Destiny 2)

Fifth in my "Lesser Known Waifu" series, here is Adriana, the Brazilan dancing-fighter from Fighter Destiny 2, a Nintendo 64 exclusive fighting game with lot of style, unique scoring system and a banging soundtrack and very unique characters.

Adriana is unfortunately very little known, but I liked her a lot the moment I saw her many years ago, when I was still a wee lad, and I decided that it was time to have her shine.

The idea behing that painting is that Adriana is entering into the Brazilan fighting stage by doing some acrobatics, so this artwork captures her as she is performing her entrance and she looks at her opponent.

She does not do that in-game, but I wanted to make her do something unique, because this artworks sub-series of mine needs the characters in unique stances and poses.

I also noticed that she is not sporting feathers on her hat but petals, but it was too late I already finished working on her - I went by memory lol.

This one took me 2 DAYS because of the goddamn vegetation - I am very slow at painting vegetation, I always screw up and have to redo some of it (I probably screwed how sunlight color work on palm-trees leaves lol), and the final result I am never satisfied with, but I guess it looks at least passable for a vegetation background.

Lesser known Waifu #4 - Genevieve (Valkyrie Profile)

This is my 4th painted entry for my own "Lesser Known Waifu" series.

It is Genevieve from Valkyrie Prorifle, the sexy undead babe with magical powers that you face as a penultimate boss, here painted as she casts her deadly thunder spell - the pose is the same as she does in game, as an hint to it, and the location I painted is inspired by where you fight her in-game.

Lesser known Waifu #3 -Aphrodite (1997 Hercules)

This is the third entry for my Lesser Know Waifu series.

This is Aphrodite as she looks in The Hercules Animated Series\Animated Movie.

I painted her inside the clam shell - a citation to "The Birth Of Aprhodite", a renaissance painting.

I didn't understand how her hair works completely and wanted to work on this quite fast, so I just approximated it because whatever, sometimes it's not that easy to make a very stylized haircut possible in a different style.

Lesser known Waifu #2 - Goddess Athena (1997 Hercules)

I guess my first "Lesser Know Waifus" will be Ancient Greece themed - I decided to start this by willing to paint the Disney versions of the Ancient Greek ladies, after all.

In this digital painting of mine, Athena as she appears in 1997 Disney's Hercules, as solemn as she usually is, with her pet coquette porched on the fore-spike of her spear.

She is riring Pegasus the winged horse, I made Pegasus more cartoony while Melpemone is more realistic out of stylistic choise.

Parasite Eve The 3rd Birthday

Title: Eve's Grief Soothed by The Memories Of Aya Brea

This is my latest painted work I recently finished as I worked on it during my hiatus - when I have not been sharing anything for months.

It shows Eve (the girl at the center) letting snow fall on her because she is sad that Aya Brea (her surrogate mother she is a clone of, yes this is canon) died and she cannot cope.

So, I imagined the soul of Aya Brea herself (split in how she looks in PE1 and PE2) coming to soothe Eve's spirit. The idea is that Eve just sat there, where the snow is not accumulating, but there is lot of snow out of frame as she was walking under it

My painted hommage to King Of Fighter EX 2, an exclusive KOF game for Gameboy Advance.

The painting depicts Jun Kagami, Iori Yagami and Myu taunting the defeated Kyo Kusanagi.

Jun and Myu are exclusive characters from KOF EX 2, never appeared ever again, I wanted to bring more light upon them, so I painted this artwork.

Jun is also among my favorites - strong woman that is 1.90 meters tall and uses her own body as a weapon with devasting grabs, and she has a good sense of fashion too!

Chrono Trigger - To Far Away Times

Finished this other artwork of mine that I had as a WIP for quite a while - I did most of it but I had to do the final touches.

It is a reinterpretation of the True Ending in the masterpiece JRPG game "Chrono Trigger" for SNES, the Ending where boih Chrono and Marle find themselves floating on the city of Lenne because of air ballons that are too dense with helium.

I took liberties with how the city looks but I kept the Millenium Bell Of Lenee to give identiy to the scenario.

Overall I really enjoyed painting this artwork and listening to "To Far Away Times", the Closing Theme to Chrono Trigger, as I was working on the finishing touches, sent me back to those more innocent times.
