I've just came to realize something.
Despite everything I've been through,
the limitations, mental illnesses,
the amount of negative thoughts that goes through my brain,
the amount of sadness that pierces through my heart,
even when I torture myself, being the meanest one could be,
the urge to create within me always persevered. and I am SO glad it did.
It's not gonna happen overnight, but I'm gonna cherish it the best I can. It deserves to breathe freely. It deserves to be treated as a precious kid, even when the result is as good as a kid's creation. It deserves to be hanged on the refrigerator with pride. It deserves to feel joy, not because of the result but because of the act of creating itself.
It's me. I deserve it. It survived despite me. I survived despite all. I still enjoy so many things. Hell, my name literally means joyful. I'm gonna learn to embrace it.

I've realized how much I've missed tumblr, it had such a special place in my heart. I was a depressed teenager 10 years ago and tumblr was my place to share my feelings and find people who get me. I met a few introverted/ace/vegan weirdos like me and we would actually have genuine conversations in our safe corner of this site. I wish I could find them again. Hope they are all doing fine.
