teen transmasc guide:

may be considered body checking or induce dysphoria - these are based on conventional standards of masculinity, I hope you do not feel invalidated if you disagree with something I've written here

1. get a disguised binder ("compression bra" - target compression bra) or if you're unable to get something like that layering 2 sports bras (one normal and the second backwards) may work for you! (BE SAFE IN YOUR BINDING!! DO NOT BIND IN EXCESSIVE AMOUNTS YOU CAN DAMAGE YOUR RIBCAGE)

2. choose the right clothes for your body - (I've found this from my own experience) a. cargo pants and high waisted pants make your hips look larger than they are, try to choose low waisted pants b. wear shirts that are your size, both oversized and tight shirts can emphasize your chest (button ups and those with a logo high on your chest also help hide your chest) c. make your top larger than your bottom, this might not make sense but try to draw more attention to your shoulders than your hips! it gives a more masculine look

3. DO NOT GET THE BEIBER HAIRCUT

4. avoid half square half round glasses

square or completely round glasses are a lot more masculine seeming imo

5. humming really does lower and stronger your voice - especially if you already like to sing! slowly and safely work your voice lower and get used to speaking with it as well. your voice will change depending on who you're around and how much you're paying attention to your voice and it is completely normal

do not do these things if you aren't sure of your safety. as much as dysphoria is terrible, it is not worth putting yourself in danger. my account is 100% a safe space to other teenage tranmascs :)

I'm a little disappointed in season 2? after thinking about it for a month

I feel that they've created such an amazing setup and so many great characters, and now they've left it dangling on by the strings of flesh that was the first season. a lot of great characters, arcs, storylines, growths, and morals have taken a plunge for a quick get back together for stede and ed (even though if they didn't get back together I would be sick to this day over them) more bullshit opinion below !!!

lucious took a big hit this season. good god they hinted at so much trauma and they never let the boy confide completely with anyone. it seems everyone he was closest with shut him down because they were uncomfortable. it's especially troubling the way that stede treated the crew. it sickens me to see the change from stede "talk it through as a crew" bonnet to an almost selfish, single sighted man who won't listen to those who've sacrificed tons for him.

also how the fuck did they let that youtuber apology-halfassed-selfish comeback from ed slide. how is that what we got? I honestly would've liked it better if they put the "cursed coat" on the back burner (or omitted entirely) in substitution for ed having a fang-sit-down reconciliation between ed and each individual crew member. I know that probably couldn't fit but still.

I love the ideas of being able to change and grow from being a bad person. being able to still be loved despite the things you've done. I really think they did that so well with izzy this season. but for ed? so half-assed. maybe if we get a season 3 (praying to the gods and crossing my toes) they'll be able to expand on his arc

also what the fuck was up with buttons can someone analyze that or was that kind of complete bullshit
