No, what he wants more than anything is to find Bucky; but Bucky’s trying to get used to civilian life again in Romania. And that’s when the Sokovia Accords come rolling around.
Welcome to part 6 of the series! This time around, we’ll cover everything that happens between the start of Avengers: Age of Ultron and the end of Captain America: Civil War. Which means – and I know we’ve all been waiting for this – the reunion is finally happening!
As for my posting schedule – well, with the series now completely written and edited, I think it’s about time I start updating several times a week, not just on Fridays. Hope that’s good news for everyone.
Chapter 22: 15 May 2016
Snippet:
Those are the thoughts flying through Steve’s head as he’s idly paging through the song book on his lap. Distantly he hears the priest call up Sharon Carter to say a few words. Steve doesn’t recognise the name; must be a more distant relative. He doesn’t pay it much attention.
That is, until Sam nudges his shoulder, and Steve looks up, following Sam’s gaze and –
Her name’s Sharon. That’s what Natasha told him, way back at Fury’s fake funeral.
And oh hell, they gotta be kidding him.
Up in the pulpit, there’s – Kate. Steve’s former neighbour. Agent 13. Her name’s Sharon. She’s nice. That’s what Natasha said.
Oh for fuck’s sake, there’s no way Natasha didn’t know this. Sharon Carter. Of fucking course.
“Margaret Carter was known to most as founder of SHIELD,” Sharon says. “But I just knew her as Aunt Peggy.”
