Get glowing skin with these top 5 natural ingredients
Looking for a way to give your skin a healthy, natural glow? Look no further than your organic skincare products! The beauty industry is buzzing with the benefits of using natural ingredients, and for good reason. These ingredients can nourish, hydrate, and protect your skin in a way that synthetic ingredients simply cannot. Here are the top 5 natural ingredients you should look for in your organic skincare products.
Aloe vera:
This succulent plant is a powerhouse of skin benefits. It's known for its soothing, hydrating, and anti-inflammatory properties, making it a great choice for anyone with dry, irritated, or sensitive skin. Look for products that contain a high concentration of aloe vera, such as a moisturizer or a face mask. To use, simply apply the product to your skin and let it absorb for a few minutes before rinsing off.
Jojoba oil:
Unlike many other oils, jojoba oil is very similar to the natural oils produced by our skin. This makes it a great choice for anyone with oily or acne-prone skin, as it can help regulate oil production without clogging pores. Jojoba oil is also very gentle on the skin and can be used as a standalone moisturizer or added to your existing moisturizer for an extra boost of hydration.
Tea tree oil:
This essential oil is known for its antibacterial and antifungal properties, making it a great choice for anyone with acne or other skin blemishes. Tea tree oil can be added to a facial toner or used as a spot treatment to help fight breakouts. It's important to note that tea tree oil should be used in small concentrations and diluted with a carrier oil, as it can be irritating to the skin in its pure form.
Rosehip oil:
This oil is packed with antioxidants, vitamins, and fatty acids that nourish and repair the skin. It's particularly effective at reducing the appearance of scars and fine lines, making it a great choice for anyone with aging skin. Look for a serum or face oil that contains rosehip oil and apply it to your skin after cleansing and toning.
Green tea extract:
This powerful antioxidant is known for its ability to protect the skin from free radicals and other environmental stressors. It also has anti-inflammatory properties, making it a great choice for anyone with sensitive or acne-prone skin. Look for a facial mist or serum that contains green tea extract and use it before applying your moisturizer to give your skin an extra boost of protection.
Incorporating natural ingredients into your skincare routine can be a great way to give your skin the TLC it deserves. However, it's important to remember that natural ingredients may not work for everyone, and it's always a good idea to patch test new products and consult with a dermatologist if you have any concerns. With these top 5 natural ingredients, you'll be well on your way to achieving healthy, glowing skin.

5 Skin Care Resolutions to Make in 2023: Prioritizing Your Skin's Health and Beauty
Tumblr media
As we enter the new year, it's the perfect time to set skin care goals and make a commitment to taking better care of our skin. In this article, we'll be discussing five skin care resolutions to consider making in 2023.
Resolution #1: Incorporate more natural and organic ingredients into your skincare routine.
Tumblr media
Natural and organic skincare products are gentler on the skin and less likely to cause irritation or other negative reactions. They are also more sustainable and environmentally friendly. Some examples of natural and organic ingredients to look for include aloe vera, honey, coconut oil, avocado oil, chamomile and lavender.
Resolution #2: Properly cleanse and moisturize your skin.
Tumblr media
Cleansing and moisturizing are two essential steps in any skincare routine. Proper cleansing helps to remove dirt, oil, and other impurities from the skin, while moisturizing helps to keep the skin hydrated and nourished.
After cleansing, be sure to moisturize your skin to help keep it hydrated and nourished. A good moisturizer should be able to lock in moisture and create a protective barrier on the skin to prevent water loss.
Resolution #3: Protect your skin from the sun.
Tumblr media
The sun's harmful UV rays can cause damage to the skin, leading to premature aging and skin cancer. When applying sunscreen, be sure to use enough to cover your skin adequately and reapply every two hours. Protect your skin by seeking shade, wearing protective clothing and wearing a hat or sunglasses when the sun is strongest.
Resolution #4: Incorporate self-care practices into your skincare routine.
Tumblr media
Incorporating self-care practices into your skincare routine has numerous benefits for both your skin and overall well-being. Stress can have a negative impact on the health of your skin, causing a variety of skin problems such as acne, eczema, and rosacea. By practicing self-care and managing stress, you can improve the health and appearance of your skin and promote your overall well-being.
Resolution #5: Choose certified organic and natural skincare products.
Tumblr media
When shopping for natural and organic skincare products, be sure to read labels carefully and do your research. Look for products that are certified organic by a reputable organization and avoid those that contain questionable ingredients.
By incorporating these skincare resolutions into your routine, you can achieve healthy, radiant skin in 2023. From switching to natural and organic ingredients to protecting your skin from the sun and practicing self-care, these resolutions will help you prioritize your skincare and take control of your skin's health. Remember, it's never too late to start taking care of your skin, and small changes can make a big difference in the long run. Here's to a happy and healthy 2023!

Cool Season Beauty Routine: 10 Simple Tips For Healthy Skin
Tumblr media
The fresh season is here, and it's time to talk about cool-season beauty routines. Here are my top 10 tips for transforming your skincare routine from warm to cool weather.
1. Use rich skin care products.
The wind and cold really damage our skin in the fall and winter. Skin care can be richer again.
2. Use wind and weather creams.
Wind and weather cream can protect the delicate skin on your face from rain and cold breezes.
3. Keep your lips soft and plump.
Our lips react very quickly to wind. The result is dry, chapped lips. I don't recommend using a lip scrub, as I've often read.
4. Don't forget the foot care in the home spa.
Our feet need our attention even in the fall and winter. Three simple steps are enough to keep your feet soft to the touch.
5. Take care of your hair.
Your hair probably suffered from the sun, sea and pool water during the summer. In the fall, you need to take care of it again.
6. Try the brush massage.
The brush massage is and remains my favorite spa technique that can easily be done at home.
7. Get your fill of vitamins.
Especially in the fall and winter, vitamin intake is important to optimally support the skin's essential functions.
8. Drink enough water.
Especially right now, it's necessary to increase the fluid intake. Try to drink the tea throughout the day.
9. Get some sun.
During the dark season, we often lack vitamin D. That's why I recommend taking advantage of the little bit of sun that still appears to take long walks.
10. Take invigorating and contrasting showers.
Contrasting showers in the morning help your skin get used to the cold. shower with warm water as usual. Then turn on the water as cold as you can stand it.

5 Dermatologists' Tips to Take Care of Black Skin
Black skin contains more melanin than fair skin. As a result, the effects of inflammation and injury on melanin-producing cells can be more pronounced on black skin than on fair skin.
For this reason, we have identified five key points to consider in any black skin care program.
1- Cleansing and moisturizing.
To keep your skin fresh and supple, it is recommended to gently cleanse and moisturize it every day, ideally right after your shower.
2- Sun protection.
One of the most common misconceptions about Black people is that their skin doesn't burn and they don't need sunscreen. This is not true, and everyone should wear sunscreen.
3- Treatment of hyperpigmentation.
Hyperpigmentation, or areas of discolored skin, can occur on any skin type.
Sunscreens help prevent the formation of hyperpigmentation spots, but they cannot remove existing dark spots. Only dermatologists can recommend one or more products to treat existing dark spots.
4- Acne treatement.
If you have acne, it should be treated as quickly as possible.
Treating acne early can prevent it from getting worse. That can prevent the appearance of dark spots on the skin, a condition known as post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
5- Nutritional habits
As we always say, good skin care starts on the inside. Eat a balanced, high-fiber diet to provide your skin with the nutrients it needs to thrive and heal.

Expert tips to properly moisturize your face and body
You can take care of the skin integument both at the cosmetology salon and at home by yourself. So, keep your skin moisturized with proper care and special care, including:
Using a gentle cleanser, not scrubbing too hard, and washing with warm water.
Tumblr media
Scrubbing with a harsh cleanser or washing with hot water will remove moisture and oil from your skin. Lather up with a cleanser that's appropriate for your skin type and wash by rolling the lather over your skin.
Rinse with warm water to retain the essential oils.
Use a moisturizing lotion.
Tumblr media
After washing your face, apply a moisturizer as soon as possible. It's also important to use lotions with strong moisturizing properties, including hyaluronic acid, collagen, and ceramide. By supporting the skin's water-holding capacity, it becomes easier to increase the amount of moisture.
Use the cotton ball technique.
Tumblr media
Stretch the lotion-soaked cotton ball over your entire cheek. Do the same on your forehead, chin, and around your nose, and wait 5 minutes. You can expect the lotion to penetrate the skin and increase its water retention.
Apply oil with a lotion or milky cream.
Tumblr media
After replenishing moisture with lotion, replenish the oil with a milky lotion or cream. Milky lotions and creams support the role of sebum, making it difficult for the skin to lose moisture. Apply the lotion all over your face and the cream only to dry areas. If you apply the cream to areas with high sebum secretion, it will be sticky.
You can use the organic oil of your choice. However, because of its nourishing properties for the skin, we strongly recommend Moroccan argan oil.

5 Steps to ensure a smooth skin care transition from summer to fall
The warm sunny days are already coming to an end, and our skin is waiting for the test of low temperatures, humidity, and wind. Fall is a time of transition when the skin, so used to the heat and sun, adapts to the cold. But you can take care of it by planning the transition to fall skin care. Here are the experts' tips for a healthy and effective skin care transition.
1- Treat post-summer skin imperfections
Whether you're enjoying the pleasures of a beach vacation, hiding from the hustle and bustle of your favorite country home, or spending the warmer months in the city, your skin can feel exhausted after summer. This is always the case, even if you don't neglect sunscreen and moisturize regularly. The negative impact of seasonal factors cannot be avoided. So the first thing to do after your summer vacation is over is to restore your skin.
In a previous article, we have already detailed the effective and simple ways to restore your skin after the summer.
2- Don't stop using sunscreen
This is one of the most common mistakes after summer. The sun is still active in the fall, so no one should break this rule for skin care! Sun protection is important the whole year round. During the cold season, SPF 20-30 is sufficient. Use a BB cream, makeup base, or foundation with sun protection.
This rule does not apply to sensitive or hyperpigmented skin, which requires at least SPF 50 all year round !
3- Moisturize and nourish your skin properly
In the fall, we're moving away from light products like gels for a bit. And now, we're choosing options with a more saturated and dense texture, but that aren't heavy! They should be more saturated and dense, but not too heavy. They protect the skin from extreme temperatures and dry indoor air. In the fall, face and body care products make their own adjustments. If you were using a lotion in the summer, now choose a cream that suits your skin type.
As usual, look for hyaluronic acid and glycerin in the composition. And also ceramides, squalane and niacinamide (vitamins E and B3). These components will create a protective barrier on the surface of the epidermis. Apply the cream beforehand, 30 minutes before walking.
Also choose products containing oils, as the skin now needs intensive nutrition. Oils will support the lipid layer of the epidermis, which is responsible for the youthfulness of your skin! So use oils every few days. But for oily skin, choose products carefully.
And forget about clay masks for now. They dry out the skin, which is already stressed by high temperatures.
4- Exfoliate your skin
In autumn, the desquamation process of the keratinized particles of the epidermis slows down. This is why the skin becomes dull and rough. It is therefore important to exfoliate your skin once or twice a week. It will be transformed.
You can exfoliate the skin with acids or do a peel with abrasive particles. This will help you get rid of flakes, excess oil, and dry skin. And the valuable components of cosmetic skin care products will be able to penetrate deeper into the skin and bring you more benefits.
But be careful; you must exfoliate properly and gently to avoid damaging your skin. When it comes to exfoliation, the most important thing is to be measured because scrubs and peels can hurt delicate skin, disrupt the lipid layer of the epidermis and cause irritation.
5- Choose the right products
Fall skincare and facials have brought back the acid products that are effective in getting skin back in shape (but don't forget the sunscreen!).
Start with the basics of products containing acids. By the end of summer, your skin will be getting used to these skin care products. As you use them, you can increase their concentration. It is important to follow the manufacturer's instructions for use. Don't leave acidic products on your skin for too long and don't use them often.
And if you're new to using these products, start with mild AHAs. This option is suitable even for sensitive skin

Popular homemade sunburn remedies
In the case of ultraviolet burns, you should administer first aid as soon as possible. But the home first aid kit does not always contain the necessary medications. You can replace them with some popular remedies.
Cottage cheese for sunburn
One of the most popular homemade sunburn remedies is traditional cottage cheese. You can use it to make a cooling pillow. Spread a small amount of cottage cheese on the affected skin areas and cover them with a cloth.
Do not leave the quark wrap on for more than 15 minutes; otherwise, the quark will contract and stimulate blood circulation. The cooling effect is reversed and additionally warms the areas already more irrigated by sunburn.
This advice does not apply to sunburn blisters! You should not treat them with quark, as the lactic acid bacteria in quark can promote further inflammation and infection in the body through open wounds.
Treating sunburn with coconut oil
Coconut oil has skin-care properties. This is why it is one of the most popular homemade sunburn remedies. Thanks to its antibacterial effect, it promotes the healing process of small wounds.
Aloe vera as a home remedy for sunburn
Aloe vera is also listed among the natural homemade sunburn remedies. The juice of this medicinal plant can help in the first aid of wounds. To do this, cut the leaves of the aloe vera plant lengthwise and place the sticky side of the leaf directly on the skin. You can also use ointments or gels sold in pharmacies. The exact effectiveness of aloe vera in inflammatory skin diseases has not yet been scientifically proven.
Black tea as a home remedy for sunburn
In addition to quark, you can also use black tea as a home remedy for sunburn for refreshing wraps. It is rich in antioxidants and tannins. Black tea can soothe sunburned skin and minimize flaking. To do this, soak a cloth in the cooled black tea and treat the affected areas of skin with the home remedy. To prevent sunburn in isolated areas, you can also place the cooled tea bag directly on the skin. Unlike cottage cheese, you don't need to wash the black tea off your skin.

Common post-summer skin problems
In general, the end of summer is associated with five common skin problems that arise because one of the main functions of the skin is protection. And if you have not been able to fully protect the skin, it starts to actively defend itself. We will briefly explain what these common problems are:
Thickening of the skin's horny layer
The stratum corneum of the skin thickens to protect itself from the sun's rays and prevent cell damage. The skin appears to build up an armor.
Skin dehydration
In summer, the top layer of skin often becomes drier. This is also a trick our skin uses to protect itself from the sun's penetration.
A thickened, rough, and dry stratum corneum retains ultraviolet rays better.
Skin microbiome disorder
The fact is that ultraviolet rays have a bactericidal effect, and with prolonged exposure to the sun, the microbiome suffers.
In fact, during a beach vacation, acne sufferers may first notice an improvement in the condition of their skin because, thanks to the bactericidal action of the sun, the small pimples dry up and disappear quickly.
But after a while, if the microbial balance is disturbed, the acne worsens and new eruptions appear.
If the skin is not prone to breakouts, a microbial imbalance can cause skin hypersensitivity, dryness, tightness, redness, and allergic reactions.
Clogged pores
Another problem many people face in the summer is clogged pores. The reason for this is often the active use of sunscreen.
Many sunscreens settle on the face with a thick film, preventing normal sebum secretion and exfoliation of dead skin cells, which contributes to clogged pores.
Development of age spots
And the leader of summer problems is undoubtedly pigmentation disorders.
It is important to understand that hyperpigmentation can be caused not only by sun exposure but also by hormonal imbalances, skin-damaging procedures, industrial pollution, etc.
As a result, an effective fight against pigmentation always necessitates an individual approach, and professional procedures are frequently required.
You can discover our simple methods to treat these different problems and restore your skin after the summer by clicking on this link.

3 Nighttime habits that help you get beautiful skin
The third part of the lifestyle habits that lead to healthy and beautiful skin will be devoted to nighttime habits that help improve skin and make it look younger.
Lack of sleep is the enemy of beautiful skin. Your skin regenerates while you sleep, so a good night's sleep is very important for beautiful skin. Why not review your sleeping environment when you sleep and try to do it from your sleeping environment?
Avoid eating and drinking alcohol before bedtime
Tumblr media
Sleep is thought to be deepest 2 to 3 hours after falling asleep.
Growth hormone is secreted during sleep and skin is also reborn, so it can be said that good quality sleep is one of the factors that create beautiful skin.
When you eat or drink alcohol, your body's energy is diverted from digesting food, so your sleep after falling asleep becomes shallow. To improve sleep quality, it is a good idea to make sure you finish your meals 2 to 3 hours before going to bed.
Rest your eyes before going to bed
Tumblr media
It's said that melatonin, which promotes sleep, is less likely to be produced when you wake up to blue light from a computer or smartphone, or bright light emitted from a bright screen, so it can be difficult to fall asleep.
Before you fall asleep, consciously avoid touching your computer or smartphone, and try to condition yourself to fall asleep in better conditions.
Adapt your sleeping environment
Tumblr media
Creating an environment that is conducive to falling asleep and relaxing your mind and body is also important to getting quality sleep.
Darken the room; put on soothing music that fills the room with an aromatic scent; find something that relaxes you and make it a habit before bed.
In addition to adjusting the sleeping environment, light exercises such as stretching and yoga are recommended as they easily have a relaxing effect.
Sleeping too much or too little is a mistake. Try to aim for an average of six hours per day.

Nutritional habits for beautiful skin
The second part of the lifestyle habits that lead to healthy and beautiful skin will be devoted to nutrition and its impact on the skin.
Diet is important for beautiful skin. You may not know which foods and drinks are good for your skin. Here are some easy tips that you can incorporate into your daily life.
Focus on nutritional balance
Tumblr media
It's important to take care of your skin from the outside with daily skincare products, but it's even better to use foods and supplements to take care of your skin from the inside, too.
For healthy, beautiful skin,
Vitamin A is good for skin health. It is said to have an antioxidant effect and maintain normal skin and mucous membranes.
Vitamin C provides a balanced supply of nutrients that have antioxidant properties and promote collagen production.
Vitamins B6 and E, which are known to be good for skin health, include proteins and essential fatty acids, which are nutrients that make up skin cells.
There are many necessary nutrients, such as: Carrots, spinach, and liver are high in vitamin A; broccoli, paprika, green bell peppers, strawberries, and kiwi are high in vitamin C; and eggs, meat, and fish are high in protein. It is challenging to maintain a healthy balance of nutrients. You must eat well. Supplements are only supplements, so it is recommended to use them well without relying on them.
Constipation is also a great enemy of beautiful skin. To relieve constipation, it is important to prepare the intestinal environment, so it is a good idea to take fermented foods like natto and eat foods rich in dietary fiber like sweet potatoes and burdock root.
Rethink your daily eating habits. Aim for a balanced diet. Avert food imbalances and overeating. Adopt a lifestyle that does not hold back bowel movements.
Consume hot beverages
Tumblr media
It is good to be mindful of regular consumption of hot beverages, as warming up your body tends to improve your metabolism.
Beverages that do not contain caffeine are recommended. Find something you feel comfortable drinking, such as plain water, barley tea, or herbal tea.
If you're having trouble getting into the habit of drinking hot beverages, it's a good idea to start by drinking beverages that don't cool your body, such as those at room temperature or without ice.
The timing of your hydration is also important. Instead of drinking it all at once, consider taking it frequently throughout the day.
When skin lacks moisture, it tends to become dry, sensitive, and prone to roughness. Especially when you're sleeping, you sweat unexpectedly, so you may be low on water without knowing it. It's a good idea to get into the habit of drinking water before you go to bed at night and as soon as you wake up in the morning.

3 Daytime activities that keep your skin looking good
As part of the lifestyle habits that lead to beautiful skin, I'm going to outline three things you need to pay attention to during the day. I've put together a list of things that can be easily incorporated, so take care of yourself.
Protect your skin from UV rays
Tumblr media
When exposed to UV rays, the melanin pigment that protects the skin is secreted. If the amount of melanin pigment is normal, it will turn over and be excreted as dirt, but if the amount is large, pigmentation will appear and spots will be produced. In other words, ultraviolet rays cause pigmentation such as spots and dullness, so it is important to take action not only in spring and summer, but all year round.
The epidermis is the outermost tissue of the skin, and the dermis is the tissue beneath the epidermis.
Below the dermis is the subcutaneous tissue, and the skin is composed of three layers.
Exposure to UV-B rays can dry out the epidermis and cause inflammation, while UV-A rays can denature the collagen and elastin fibers of the dermis and damage the cells that maintain the skin's firmness and elasticity. UV rays affect both the epidermis and dermis of the skin, causing dryness, wrinkles, and sagging.
Exercise moderately
Tumblr media
Exercise promotes blood circulation and skin metabolism.
If you've never exercised before, you don't have to put in a lot of effort right away. You don't need to overdo it, and it's a good idea to start by sweating through aerobic exercises like walking, stretching (radio exercises, etc.), and swimming, and then make exercise a habit. If you exercise outdoors, remember to reapply sunscreen frequently to protect yourself from UV rays.
Relieve stress
Tumblr media
Hormonal balance is good for skin health. By removing the cause of stress, autonomic nerves will be easier to regulate, blood vessel contraction will be suppressed, and skin renewal will be easier to maintain normally.
People have different ways of relieving stress, such as talking with friends, taking up hobbies, meditating, looking at art, and being in nature. It is good to find your own way to relieve stress and do things that help you relax when you are frustrated. Please note that alcohol and tobacco use put a strain on your internal organs and do not relieve stress.
