the second you woke up, you felt strange. blinking unevenly you slowly get up stretch.

this feels too peaceful..

Peacefully waking up with no alarms blasting throught your ears made you jolt up. You immediately checked your phone and once your eyes laid on the clock your heart dropped. dread filled within you as you scrambled to get dressed.

How is this humanly possible?

you were sure that setting up 17 alarms would wake you no matter what. however, you were proven wrong, still drowsy from sleep you brush your hair and teeth at the same time while picking out an outfit. you knew that whoever walked into your room right now would think you were under the influence. as you finally leave your apartment with an apple in your mouth and your bag half closed and slinging on one shoulder, you feel a buzz in your pocket.

The first thing you noticed was your phone and the to-go latte you bought both flying out of your hands, although that wasn’t when you realized you were falling. No, it was your body losing all the balance it had and falling victim to gravity. Your arms were flailing around, trying to grab hold of anything and you already knew how embarrassing this was gonna get.

Surprisingly you had clutched onto what felt like some clothing material, and before you realized what you were doing; you pulled. You snapped your eyes shut and waited with bated breaths for the fall to hit you.

Five seconds….

Then ten….

However, the pain you were waiting for never arrived

Huh?

Slowly, you peeled your eyes open, what was presented in front of you was nothing you were expecting. You were waiting for hard concrete and the stinging pain that usually followed. Not this, some type of musky scent flooded your nostrils as the entirety of your vision was white. Not only that, but you were face to face with what seemed to be a hard surface along with bumps that had a soft touch to them and were unusually warm.

You don’t think you’ve been this confused ever since trying to teach Tobio and Sho advanced functions in high school.

You blinked

You tried to wrack your brain on what was happening. Just when you were about

to voice your thoughts, someone had already beat you to it.

“Fucking hell” It was deep, slightly gruff and annoyed. Your entire body went rigid, every muscle in your body froze.

That was definitely not my voice

You slowly lift your head up and as soon as you discerned what was before you, you felt your breath hitch.

Oh fuck he’s hot

Pools of olive green stared back at you, hardened and confused. His jawline was clenched in discomfort and so sharp you swear it could cut the tension. While his hair, although spiked up, looked soft to the touch. His eyebrows were thin and furrowed and his lips were twisted into a grimace. He was gorgeous, sculpted by the gods.

No, he was the greek god himself. You finally realized you’re still lying on top of a said greek god and come down to reality.

“I’m so sorry-“ you quickly got up by using your hands as leverage. However, one of them slipped and you crashed back down, your forehead colliding with his and leaving both of them throbbing in pain while simultaneously jerking your knee and accidentally hitting what seemed to be his crotch; clear from the way he hissed in pain. you let out a groan and you go to hold your forehead immediately, mortified and in pain.

Is this happening right now? Is this real?

you start to question every choice you made in your life that led you up to here when he speaks again. “Are you able to get up?” he sighs painfully, you could feel his deep voice vibrating through his chest, okay you don’t know if you should end your life or fawn over his voice cause holy fuck it sounds amazing.

“Yeah, I’m fine to let me just-” flustered, you tried to slowly get up this time. “Hold on I got you” and before you could even react, two big hands wrap around your waist and swiftly lifted you, freeing you from whatever tangled limbs you were trapped in. You were suddenly positioned next to him, staring blankly as you tried to register what just happened.

He quickly got up and dusted himself off, while you snapped yourself out of it and scrambled to find your phone, cheeks blazing as you feel the heat rise to your face while your ears start to warm. You find your phone and snatch it and clumsily stand up

He’s a giant compared to you, towering over you with muscles upon muscles, his broad shoulders and big chest basically creating a shadow over you.

You accidentally make eye contact with him and instantly look away and stare at the ground, the very thing you should’ve collided with, you would have been grateful if you planted face first into the concrete instead, because then you would have at least a speck of pride left. Your eyes caught his shoes and you take notice of their stained yellow/brown appearance and your heart drops to your stomach.

Holy fuck I’ve done it now

This just keeps getting more embarrassing, you want the earth to swallow you whole right this moment or else you won’t know what to do. Your eyes widened in mortification as you strung out words of apologies

if all that is good in this world please let me just disappear and erase my memories because there is no way I can live past this

“I’m so sorry I didn’t mean to spill everything on you, I wasn’t watching where I was going I can get you new ones-“ he waves it off and looks down at you “Don’t worry about it, I wasn’t watching where I was going either”

“It’s my fault though I’m sorry-“ He raises his eyebrows and sighs “Seriously it’s fine, as long as no one’s hurt we’re good” His triceps flex as he runs his fingers through this hair, he opens his mouth to say something but shuts it when his phone dings.

Taking out his phone, he furrows his brows as he scrolls through it while you look at him expectingly, waiting for him to lash out at you and demand you pay him back for his shoes. Just when you’re about to insist on buying them, his phone rings and a small groan escapes his lips as he scowls at his phone. He looks back up at you and sighs once more. “Listen I gotta go, are you sure you’re okay?” He inspects your body and you suddenly feel ten times more nervous. “Yea I’m okay I wasn’t the one that got most of the fall though. Are you okay?” you laugh awkwardly and his lips quirk for a second before he waves off “I’m alright, see you around”

You wait until he fully turns the corner that you crouch down and bring both of your hands to your face and groan loudly

— kageyama is still trying to decipher what that keyboard smash meant after y/n fell

— y/n stayed in that crouched position at the end for a good 10 min before
