*Pay Attention*
I might lose some popularity over this, but I'm not entirely concerned over that - what I am concerned about is people who play this game who aren't creators or who don't test every piece of content they put in their games, and their computers which they paid good money for.
I know as a creator how quickly polycount can rise, and I also know how much it sucks to lose details because you're trying to keep polycount low. But let me show you something -
Do you see a difference in these? Look closely, really study it for a second.
One has 14,077 poly. One has 4,014.
You tell me which one is which.
Here's the thing, I downloaded a beautiful set that I knew had to be high poly simply by looking at it. I always drool over this particular creator (and others) BECAUSE their stuff is beautiful, I get it. I'm an addict like all the rest of ya. Knowing this, I checked each mesh and was disappointed to yet again find thousands of polys on these meshes. One was over 35,000 polys for a decorative item.
That's stupid.
I decimated this object down to 4K without it losing any quality. I've done this with several items in my game because there's NO POINT in having 10,000 extra faces or more for the game to carry for absolutely no purpose whatsoever.
Please, creators - converters - players and downloaders, pay attention to what you're putting in your system. If you can lower the polycount when you're converting to TS3, take the extra step and do so. I have a tutorial on my page - it takes a few minutes to click a button a few times and maybe separate parts of the mesh to help it out a bit. If you're going to put it out for download as is, PLEASE for the love of all things holy put a disclaimer on it TELLING people that it has thousands of polycounts in it, so they can at least be aware of the bomb they're adding to their mods folders.
We all like to cram a bunch of crap into our games and decorate to our hearts content, but stuff like this puts our systems and save files at LITERAL risk. If you have an amazing computer to handle it (I have an amazing computer to handle it) great, but not everyone does. Keep that shit in mind before you release something with the digital weight of an elephant.

[ReShade 5.1+] No More CAS UI & More
Well, dang. I guess it is possible after all. I was looking for a way to hide the UI in CAS via some complicated method, but instead found a site which led me to this guide to a ReShade add-on called ShaderToggler 🤩 I haven’t found someone create a TS4 tutorial for this yet so here ya go.

Plaid PJ Pants
I am incredibly in love with the original mesh and textures, however, I needed more colours and plaid options! Unfortunately, lots of plaid CC I've come across are a little too alpha-looking for my tastes (and some kinda hurt my eyes ngl). So, I've made these fashionable recolours. Initially just for masc frame, I ended up making matching textures for child and fem frames! If you're in Creator Musings on Discord, these may look familiar bc these were my submission to the gift pile :D Anyways, enjoy!
I used @madameriasims4 's Customisable Plaids resource and made these! Mesh is unedited, but they are indeed 3 different meshes bc I hate the weird stance fem framed sims get when given masc bottoms.
If you like these pants, be sure to check MadameRia out! She has high-quality everyday wear for your sims (yes, even for masc sims!!!).

Cropped Letterman Jacket
I really liked the BG cropped freezer bunny jacket, but I wanted some plain swatches and more colours. Behold! The cropped letterman jacket in the Jewl Refined palette; with the inner shirt removed for pairing with other accessory shirts you may have.

I love Many Mornings (not sponsored lmao) and I wanted some of their designs in the game. Not all of them are spot on since I had to draw them by hand (aka I couldn’t find suitable textures and clearly went mad), but I think they turned out really cute! Most of them are very nice for fall looks, but I HAD to throw in the bee and space pattern for obvious reasons.

Socky Saga Updates + New Socks
So.. I'm realising I never actually revealed that my sock project is officially called Socky Saga lol, but I guess now's the time!
Updated: REDACTED and Mismatched have brand new custom thumbnails to fit in with everything, with REDACTED sporting a new swatch. I also replaced the GDrive links with SFS links.
NEW: Same Stripes and Heckin! Stripes takes its texture from Mismatched, while Heckin was drawn by hand.
Heckin is based off some of the socks sold by Heckin' Unicorn, a Singapore-based queer brand. Here's a link to their socks! They also have a large collection of enamel pins, but this is a sock post ;P In any case, their offerings are a perfect way to be discreetly out, if you cant be proud publicly. Haha, can you tell that I love them?

ONEUS Posters
Pretty much what it says on the box: Posters of the K-Pop group ONEUS! Specifically during DEVIL, Blood Moon, and Trickster eras.
Includes a total of 71 different swatches. The packages are split according to era, and then horizontal/vertical. Search "mothy" to easily find all my CC in the catalogue :D
Credits for the photos obviously goes to ONEUS, but I took the photos from these websites bc I hate searching Twitter: DEVIL, Blood Moon, Trickster [1] [2]
NOTE: There is a small issue of the DEVIL posters being separated in the catalogue if you have all 6 variations. I've tried to rectify this, but alas I somehow cannot, and I'll leave it for Future Me to deal with :P
