Dani Denims RC in Old Money

I fell out of love with the original palette my Dani Denims came in about .02 seconds after posting them, and when @sforzcc posted Old Money, I knew I wanted to use their palette for a recolor. I've been putting it off for ever, but since Sforz posted their recolor of their Dream Jeans, I figured I'd jump on the wagon.*

I've said it before, but the original palette I used for the Dani Denims ended up being waaaay too saturated when paired with my ReShade presets. I am eternally thankful to sforz and their keen eye for color.

I also took the opportunity to try to improve on the normal map. The originals have a super crunchy map because, well, normal maps are still a mystery to me. I think a subtler touch is better, but then I feel like it doesn't make enough of a difference. But at least now the white swatch doesn't look like the moon!

Plaid PJ Pants

I am incredibly in love with the original mesh and textures, however, I needed more colours and plaid options! Unfortunately, lots of plaid CC I've come across are a little too alpha-looking for my tastes (and some kinda hurt my eyes ngl). So, I've made these fashionable recolours. Initially just for masc frame, I ended up making matching textures for child and fem frames! If you're in Creator Musings on Discord, these may look familiar bc these were my submission to the gift pile :D Anyways, enjoy!

I used @madameriasims4 's Customisable Plaids resource and made these! Mesh is unedited, but they are indeed 3 different meshes bc I hate the weird stance fem framed sims get when given masc bottoms. If you like these pants, be sure to check MadameRia out! She has high-quality everyday wear for your sims (yes, even for masc sims!!!).

To be honest, soon after I finished my Peter Pants, I kind of stopped liking them anymore, hahaha. I feel like I went too heavy with the normal map, and so on the lighter swatches it looks a bit too crunchy. Also, I use a reshade which tends to really amplify blues and reds in my game, and it made the swatches from the Peter Pants a little too intense for me. I was already thinking of recoloring either the Peter Pants or my Fancyish Pants to make denim swatches that worked better for me, but then I saw the Old Money palette and knew I those were exactly the colors I was looking for. I used the Fancyish Pants mesh because I like it a lot more (the crotch is a little higher and the pant legs are a little lower).

Since this is a standalone retexture of my Fancyish Pants (I promise, it does look like subtle denim in-game! I didn't think to take pictures of the back but I changed the pockets and seams), it will work with the belt overlay I made!
