with the recent mha chap being out and the last panel pointing at hagakure as the traitor, i just wanted to point out the really interesting piece of info.

this takes place during the usj incident which in chaps 13 to about 21 so you can always go back to see what i mean.

i specifically wanna touch on this panel.

here we see hagakure giving ojiro praising ojiro fro his bravery in facing the villains in his section alone. he responds quite bashfully, and asks hagakure which she was in to which she says, "in the landslide zone."

now at first glance, nothing about this seems out of place. just two students talking to one another about their experience during a tough ordeal. but then, when you sit and think about, nothing about what hagakure says, makes any sense.

why? well, look at this panel from chap

look at the sections on the map and ask yourself, is there anyway hagakure could've seen ojiro from the landslide zone? how did she know he was fighting alone? and not only that, if she knew he was alone, why didn't she help him?? why didn't she help todoroki??? we literally never see her in any of those two sections or at all for that matter, she only reappears right at the end of the attack when everyone meets back up.

i mean even if you look at the bottom in red, it shows that both aoyama and hagakure were missing during the incident. aoyama's reason is unclear but given the new chap i think we all know why hagakure was missing for sure...

anyways, that's my two cents. feel free to add any other interesting pieces of evidence.

i don't know if this is gonna make sense, but i need to get this off my chest.

so i've seen people genuinely upset about takemichi's decision to try to alter the past, because due to his attempt, now draken is d-word. and a lot of the arguments are that mikey chose his path and takemichi should have just left it at that and why is takemichi risking everyone's future for the sake of mikey and what's not and i get that, i do but then i have to sit and ask myself, did these people read chap 204? like, did they really read it??

i'm not going to go into details about it because obviously you can go and read it over if you'd like, but there's one part or panel that i really wanna talk about.

look at these panels, and i mean really look at them because by GOD does wakui do a masterpiece of a job at portraying emotions.

does this look like the face of a person who genuinely wants to be where he is right now? hell if you read over the entire chapter, does mikey look happy even once?? even before this panel, mikey didn't care about living, he even asked takemichi to let him go so he could just DIE. does that sound like something someone would say if they're ok???? NO! an takemichi knows that's he's not ok, knows that he doesn't truly want this so what does takemichi do? he doesn't give up on him, he vows that no matter how many leaps it takes that he'll save him, he actually gives mikey a HOPE. takemichi isn't going to leave him behind because in all truthfulness, the one person who deserves a happy ending out of everyone else is mikey.

and because of that hope, no matter how fleeting it may have been, it moves mikey. he no longer wants to die, he grips onto takemichi for dear life and begs him with tears in his eyes to help him. and rest assured, now that takemichi has seen that, there's no way he's going to give up on mikey because in the words of killua:

"if i ignore a friend i have the ability to help, wouldn't i be betraying him?"

feel like this picture sums up their entire relationship. especially when you look at the way that the light shines on maki whereas mai stands in the shadows, as if she is living in the shadow cast by her sister's light.

maki has always been one to move ahead with confidence, and once she was at mai's side she could be confident too. but once maki started to move ahead, mai felt like she had to as well in order to stand in that same light that maki stood in, hence "because you tried so hard to be one, i was forced to put forth effort too!"

but despite the effort that she puts in to stand at maki's side, the difference between the two is just too great to be ignored and so while maki plows toward her future, mai is left behind to only watch.

this is just my personal analysis, i don't know if any one kinda agrees but i just really wanted to get this out my system.

isn't sad how despite all that armin has done, whether in the anime or has yet to do in the manga, he's always hated himself?

like, erwin praised him for his intellect, going as far as to refer to him as one of their greatest weapons. not to mention the fact that even before he was given the position of commander, both eren and mikasa have always trusted armin's judgment. he even went as far as to put his life on the line for his friends' sake on more than one occasion and yet he still seems himself as this worthless, useless piece of trash.

he really deserves all the love in the world.
