There's a thing that I don't think the internet grasps about self harm and suicidal ideation.
Self harm typically starts years before suicidal ideation typically starts. You can have either without the other. Self harm is also associated heavily with understimulation
It's not just depression and depressing life circumstances that cause suicidal ideation.
It has been shown to be prevalent in non depressed people with chronic fatigue syndrome and its heavily associated with all anxiety disorders including ptsd (which i also think even though it has stress in the name, most don't grasp its an anxiety disorder), especially when combined with personality disorder.
And by personality disorder i don't just mean bpd, like aspd for instance has both high rates of self harm and suicide attempts.

Pokemon headcanon that once Absol are studied and people realize they prevent disasters instead of causing them, particularly dangerous workplaces get themselves a workplace Absol and it also decreases accidents.
Construction sites and fishing ships and factories will have one that pretty much just lazes about until it just gets up howling one day and knocks a dude down. They almost never figure out what would have happened but they're always like "yes absol thank you absol I am so grateful to be on the floor right now. Can I offer you a treat in this trying time"

(Joking) strong family values?
I miss a lot of the people who used to follow me, but that's a consequence of holding strong values.

i learned about Tim Wong who successfully and singlehandedly repopulated the rare California Pipevine Swallowtail butterfly in San Francisco. In the past few years, he’s cultivated more than 200 pipevine plants (their only food source) and gives thousands of caterpillars to his local Botanical Garden (x)

It is morally correct to be horny on main.
If we really want to fight against this puritanical culture that seems to be hell-bent on running sex workers off the internet and banning pornography wherever they can find it, you have a moral duty to post hole on main. Doesn't have to be your own hole but you got to post it.

When people get a little too gung-ho about-
wait. cancel post. gung-ho cannot be English. where did that phrase come from? China?
ok, yes. gōnghé, which is…an abbreviation for “industrial cooperative”? Like it was just a term for a worker-run organization? A specific U.S. marine stationed in China interpreted it as a motivational slogan about teamwork, and as a commander he got his whole battalion using it, and other U.S. marines found those guys so exhausting that it migrated into English slang with the meaning “overly enthusiastic”.
That’s…wild. What was I talking about?

I want emo versions of idioms
Like, instead of ““you’re barking up the wrong tree” it’s “you’re panicking at the wrong disco”

do you ever think about how in the static shock show, there was a sequence where this girl named madelyn used her powers to get into richie's mind and literally all richie had was virgil in his head which lead to virgil's secret identity being exposed? and richie hated it when virgil would hang out with his girls? and richie was wearing an earring? like ik they confirmed it + richie was gay in comics but this had more gay subtext than 90% of modern cartoons nowadays IDCCC

I think that rich adults can use there privilege, to get away with more potential abuse. So it becomes a scale where there children can get more benefit then others. Or worse mistreatment.
My parents liked to claim they were "upper middle class" but they were in the top 10% of their area.
Beside the standard of standard public school, public buses, walking everywhere, etc.
Me and my brother were forced on extremely harmful diets, only clothes from consignment shops except when we were supposed to meet key influential people where we had to be the perfect tool for our parents and if we deviated even slightly, then verbal beratement right there and abuse at home.
When my brother talked about the sexual abuse our mother was doing to us to police, nothing happened cause influential woman, instead further abuse for daring to speak up
Therapist confidentiality isnt a thing for minors either, and if influential you will outright have therapist say "x would never do that, you are clearly more mentally ill then i thought for thinking that" and then sent inpatient or worse to troubled teen industry for speaking up to a therapist.
And of course cause parents rich preppers, constantly doing child labor on bunkers, remote lands, roofing in heatstroke levels heat, catalogueing all the food frequently and making sure all houses cleaned thoroughly by us as free labor.
Rich people can use there power to get away with more harm more likely then someone thats poor doing the same thing, and they get applauded for it. For molding their "tool"
In the same breath, a disabled person (which im on disability) marrying a rich abled person and losing all there benefits so cant escape and then being abused, i don't think their benefiting from the money especially if rich partner chooses to starve them and other issues.
While they can benefit, just like a rich child can benefit if parents allow those benefits. They aren't less abused or less needing focus for abuse they face.
You seem to imply that poor child abuse should have more focus then rich parents childs abuse with the whole "still centering the most marginalized children"
I personally think that the abuse doesn't become less bad and am confused why you seem to imply its less bad.
As a kid, when your parents are poor, you're poor. If they don't have money, that means none of you have money. But if someone's parents are rich, that doesn't necessarily mean the kid is. Sometimes rich peoples' kids aren't rich kids, they're just some rich freak's exotic pets that can talk but aren't allowed to.

we really need to stop associating facial and body hair with men. it's just hair. someone having a beard or body hair does not instantly make them a man. women, intersex, perisex, trans and cis all can naturally grow beards and body hair. men, intersex, perisex, trans and cis can all never grow facial or body hair, ever.
if a woman has a beard for whatever reason, it doesn't invalidate their womanhood or make them partially or wholly a man. if a man can't grow facial hair or refuses to, this doesn't make them any less of a man. trans and intersex women are not obligated to shave their faces constantly in order to be seen as women. trans and intersex men are not obligated to try to grow or make it look like they grow facial hair in order to be seen as men people deserve bodily autonomy when it comes to hair, especially if it just literally grows there against your will.

I don't see people talking about this so today is the 110th anniversary of the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire, in where the factory owners locked working women and girls inside to "eliminate the risk of theft" (in reality it was too keep them from taking breaks), which resulted in the gruesome deaths of 123 mostly immigrant women and girls and 23 men, many of whom jumped to their deaths from the ninth floor either in a panicked attempt to escape or in order to die quickly. There were reports that some of the workers were on fire already as they jumped.
The eighth floor of the building was able to telephone the tenth floor to warn them about the fire, but the factory on the ninth floor where these women and girls labored had no such communication and such warning.
The factory owners were criminally charged with manslaughter for actions that contributed to the mass deaths but acquitted. However, this tragedy led to mass sympathy to the labor movement, and unions spurred on safety regulations that passed in New York state and eventually the entire country, and activists were able to reduce child labor in the process.
This tragedy is a reminder that has been forgotten in the 110 years since: every safety regulation-- every scrap of paperwork contributing to the hundreds of pages of red tape people like to complain about--every word of it was written in the blood of a laborer.
