So, my dad named me after this song. But the funny thing is in my country (when I was born at least) you couldn’t choose any name you wanted for a kid. And they told him that if he wanted to use a Y he would have to pay. Obviously he didn’t so he spelled it with an i.
Furthermore, since the way layla sounds when you pronounce it in English sounds like leyla in spanish, he ended up writing it with an e instead of the first a.
Now just the remains of Layla are seen on my name. Rip. I would have loved being called Layla. (but It’s like the same anyways😭)
PS 1: when Paul came to argentina if I’m not mistaken in 2018, a girl called Leila got on the stage and played the bass with him. #representationmatters😌
Ps 2:I looked up some time ago and there’s a zz top song called Leila. Fair enough (not a fair comparison to the masterpiece Layla is though)

Roger recorded a song with Pedro Aznar y Gustavo Cerati (2 artists from my country) for a foundation to improve health and education for children in Latin America (as the video description says) . (The money they the song made went to the foundation)
This really moved me. I’m really grateful Roger took the time to help people.
(Here the poverty rate is 45%, which is absolutely crazy) So, I’m really glad he tried helping <3

MY QUESTION IS HOW DO PEOPLE FIND THIS THINGS???? WHY???? AND HOW DID THE PICS COME OUT? DID HE GAVE THEM TO A FRIEND AND THEN THE FRIEND DECIDED TO POST IT IN SOME SKETCHY BLOG? DID HE GIVE HIS CONSENT FOR THE PIC TO BE ON THE INTERNET? is it really him?
