Hey I dunno if you're the same person as the Luvview on Spotify but if you are I wanted to say that your Arctic Anarchists playlist is really banger, thanks for making my day much better (albeit indirectly). <3333333
:0! I am! Thank you!! Glad you enjoy it! I've got shitloads of playlists up on spotify since categorizing music makes my happy chemical go brr.
If you ever manage to think of other themes for dream smp playlists feel free to reach out and let me know here or on my Twitter @ luvviewtiful. I'm happy to make things that make folks happy!
Hey public appreciation post for @maegritte who doesn’t even follow me but reblogged my weeks-old work in progress sketch and tagged it “great!!” because that was just a really pleasant thing to see at the end of the day, honestly.
i wanted to post these in-progress talk sprites of our favorite scientists! gordon and benrey are going to be the most complicated, so theyre currently a wip, but these are mostly complete! i'll be adding more animations and making them transparent in the next few days. but for now, enjoy!
Finally finished this lion piece. Learned so much in the process about propotions in animal facial anatomy and also how to do shading values with ink washes.
I might make scans of it eventually but this was a piece that really taught me alot when i worked on it. Was inspired while reading about Inanna Ishtar on wikipedia (sort of an ancient mesopotamian precursor to athena and aphrodite. total badass. look her up)
Wanna tip me so that I can keep doing this? Here’s my ko-fi!
“Your art isn’t valued by the number of notes you get” okay but. If you spent 6 hours baking a cake for a party, but no one at the party eats your cake, it’s still disappointing.
Work in progress is still progress! Was researching ancient mesopotamian deities on wikipedia out of curiousity and got inspired while researching Inanna-Ishtar.
First time ever drawing a lion and really proud of how it’s coming so far. There will never be a day that I don’t recommend using visual reference.
A timed thirty minute attempt at a practice i havent done since elementary school. Heres a still life of my catastrophic desk.
Was so incredibly insightful getting to see and directly compare what was right or wrong in my drawing off of the source material. The subtlety of how perspective / eyelevel shifts the shape of otherwise simple forms like a cylinder was interesting and will definitely require further study.
Will likely do a series of these practices to build up my still life skills once more.
messy sketchy anatomy development practice with the Good Firbolg. Hands Coming Eventually. Why is he so quietly buff in the last one? Im still figuring that out.
One day, I swear to the wildmother, I will figure out how I want to draw Jester. Until then, many other critters do a much better job. Jester has big pigtail energy, regardless of whether or not it is the canon hairstyle.
